I see a lot of people whining instead of taking advantage of an opportunity to earn some profit trading the trend. not all of us are here for profits, i stay away from premine types whether or not profits can be made from them. And yet some most are bagholding the wrong coin/s and call the ones they don't hold scams. i think you miss the whole point of crypto, its not about making profit, whats the point of being an alternative to the greedy bankers if we ourselves become the greedy banker types (and thats happening alot in crypto). i hold coins i support, if they don't fit a criteria i support, i don't hold them. i don't classify whether its right/wrong coin via its price in fiat, i've been in crypto many years now, i simply don't exchange crypto for fiat. I get that. But at the end of the day we're human. But if you really wanna go that route, I suggest people take at a second look at Ethereum. It could just be the thing to change the world for the better.... |

When the Bitcoin Core decides to adopt higher block size, the price will rise dramatically. It will be at least $600. I agree. But what if that comes 4 - 5 years from now...? So BTC price will stay at current level or lower? True, and for the doubters, haven't you guys been here long enough, we've seen lows of down to $200 last year. It's a really complex cycle, a lot of factors blend in and it takes time. What I'm concerned today is this statement: "It's proven easier to get a bank to participate in payments standards than a bitcoin community company," by the W3C Web Payments. He further added that "these companies aren’t looking to interoperate, but instead want to dominate." It's easy to assume that they'll kill BTC if given the chance right now. That really didn't answer my question. It's not about doubting.. And your answer makes me think that we are indeed in a state of denial as no one wants to face reality. Go read the question again. |

If this is indeed a bear market, then it definitely isn't new. This has been going on for the past few weeks. I am curious to find out where it will settle before recovering. My guess is somewhere in the range of $340-$350.

If top price of $2.5 is considered bubble, than yes. But, for me increase from 1 to 2 dollars is far from a bubble. Its just a pump.
You shouldn't look at price, the market cap tells a better story.  How is it a buy right this moment? Everything resembles a large correction may occur. That's what everyone was saying about bitcoin when it was $10. Admittedly times are different, but ethereum is strong in many areas. When you look down the list of "coins" and you know enough to know, where are you going to park your money? Dogecoin? Monero? Even bitcoin looks dodgy these days. No, ethereum is looking more and more like the futureproof safe bet. +1 totaly agree But trade accordingly. We really don't know what the future brings. That kind of blind thinking is what made people turned here into whiny bagholders. |
