I think it will be a good thing if BTC will stabilize at around $500 for now. If the price will be over $1000 then afterwards the bubble might burst hard, I think maybe to $250 again (but not lower).
In short: I'm glad that it seems like the price is stabilizing at $500 +- $20

There are loads of speculation about China and the largest Ponzi scheme MMM pushing the price, but there are no proof of that. People are sucking this from their ass and selling it for facts. If this was massive adoption from a certain region, we would have seen something posted already. I guess it is just a pump before the Silkroad coin auction. I'm wondering to which extent will this affect the price, taking into account that USD Exchange Trade Volume is over $35M now and the volume of Bitcoins which will be auctioned is $19M.

As of now, today the price on Bitstamp has increased by almost $50 and over 13%. This is not a sustainable increase. I feel like what should have just been a small correction could have just started to spur a massive bubble, and I would be extremely wary of this. Do not get too hyped by this, guys, please. Do not start taking out loans against Bitcoin. I feel it's great the price is increasing, but this is a risky deal for all of us.
I think if the price goes to $500 it may stabilize there for year or more and then it will start rising slowly again. But if it goes way over $500, yes, it will be a bubble.

Mostly that's right, in this case he/she need a rehabilitation.
Well i see there are 2 type of gambler, who can earn profit from it, people like this can control their emotion while do a gamble(mostly i ever see poker gambler) and while got lose. And who can't control their emotion until they lose everything.
Unfortunately, there are too few people of the first kind. Most of us cannot control our emotions. In fact, nobody controls their emotions, ones control more than others, that is it. And gambling destroys lifes. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I agree, we may think that we can controll our emotions, but we can't sometimes and we can't do a thing about it. As for "gambling destroys lifes", yes it does, but on the other hand, everything destroys life, even life itself destroys life in the long run. )

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-11-02/bitcoin-is-suddenly-surging-againGreat stuff. They can't say anything but admitting they were wrong when they said it was going directly to 0 and would never recover. All those mainstream media guys are going to go gradually more pro-Bitcoin over the next months to not look really stupid, j ust wait and see, we'll have soon a lot of discussion on Bitcoin even on the worst mainstream device of all times (TV). I already saw couple of news on Bitcoin rising on the worst mainstream device of all times. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And yes, this is a great stuff, it will help Bitcoin to rise for sure. But I think if it goes over $500 it will be a buble again. $500 is a fair price for 1 BTC for now.

i see singpays from primedice he made 1btc profit from faucet if you really good play with faucet you can win like that
Someone manage to get over 1 btc with only faucet. All you need is a patience if you are gonna be playing from faucet. Totally depends on the site as well because some sites will banned you because they think it is abusing sometimes PD held happy hours, probably he got 20k satoshi of faucets I think it's very difficult, it takes high level patience to get profit 1 BTC, how is the strategy? there is no strategy it is utter false ,I have seen people tipping him 100 $ ~ for ending some long streaks. Probably he uses faucet's everytime but that whole profit is not from it . haha LOL, evidently misunderstood, I think it really happened almost impossible that someone could get 1 btc in dice just only with faucet, must have a great strategy for it It is almost impossible but still possible, but as discussed in some topics there is no working strategy to win on dice site, you just need a huge luck to earn 1btc just from faucet. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) yeah maybe possible but now, no one can get 1 BTC only with faucets, have you seen it ? I guess people who are fauceting daily and working on it as a job can make some coins a year. It's just time but it is possible.Yes, it is posible, but it will take a lot of time. I think it might take more than 5 years to make 1 BTC with faucets only. Back to the topic, there are a lot of dice game strategies but all of them work until they don't.

This is pretty huge. Anyone knows what key combinations you have to press to make the symbol appear? I wish they would release a keyboard with a more accessible key combination (for example a simple shift + a number one like we use for $), and the key would show the BTC symbol. We need to make it a standard in every keyboard on the planet.
Yep, that would be great! And then maybe tens of millions of people who still don't aware of Bitcoin's existence will become curious of what it is. The price is rising already, but we need more reasons for its rising and stabilising.

I'm not into cloud mining, but still it is nteresting to know whether at least some them are not scum. I checked the reviews about Genesis Mining and found out that they are differ from one another: some say you have to wait more than 4 years to ROI and others say they have a good profit. Any thoughts, guys? Genesis Mining targets bitcoin enthusiasts who have not taken the time to research alternatives. The company is legitimate but buying from them has never been a good deal. You should really never tie up capital in hosted mining you can not turn around and sell same day if you like. Instead look at companies who have internal exchanges like Hashnest, Bit-X and BW. Thanks! That's what I thought. I'm wondering though if anyone here can confirm he had some profit already from a deal with Genesis Mining. I think - no one, but I may be wrong.

Am I the only person here that feels relieved when they lose all their Bitcoins due to gambling ? I don't have to deal with the constant planning and dreaming in my head that maybe this time I will recoup my losses. I find that I also sleep like a baby afterwards.
IMO it's good you can sleep like a baby after losing all your Bitcoin. This means you are losing that amount which you can afford to lose. I wish all the gamblers were like you. It is also good that you are not trying to recover your losses because this leads to more losses in general.

It's reasonable why their goverment doing this. Bitcoin has it's advantage point for some bad people to use bitcoin as ransom payment. Whenver it's illegal , bitcoin still can exist as internet payment as we can see the value got increased yesterday. Something positive happen.
It is not more reasonable than banning knives because of that many crimes are associated with them. They should be seeking for criminals, not for the instruments they use.

I don't think Israeli army has anything to do with the crash. Actually I think no one from any officially organized army would purposely kill hundreds of innocent people. Only some insane terrorists could do this.
But it seems like some technical problems were the reason of this particular tragedy.

The price of Bitcoin one year ago was $325.59, the mean has been broken on the positive say. The numbers are green and the uptrend is therefore solidified. Cool page to keep track of this very remarkable stat on the Bitcoin price: http://oneyearbitcoin.info/I still remember all the naysayers saying "Bitcoin will never recover". Well guess what, this is the ultimate proof that Bitcoin can recover from the worst nightmares. I don't think it is possible to talk about yearly gain of Bitcoin seriously because we can get very different numbers analyzing different time spans. But I absolutely agree with you on that Bitcoin can recover from the worst nightmares.

Happy hour starting now - 10k extra satoshi's per claim ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Wow! 10k extra satoshi's per claim is really something nice! I saw the Happy Hour green bar only once when I was on PD, but at the time I had some coins in my balance so I hadn't had a chance to try it. I'm wondering how often is Happy Hour happening on PD. Can you predict the day and the hour when it will happen or is it a completely random thing?

Of course I don't mean BTC Casinos or similar things. I know you can earn but can lose there as well.
I will pay you $1 in Btc/hour for a service, but have to think of something. Any ideas? I'm sorry, but it is still unclear to me what did you mean by that. If you are going to pay $1 in Btc/hour for a service, could you please clarify what kind of service is that and maybe then not only me but some other people on this forum also will be willing to work for you.

I have checked; at the moment, there are no gambling sites that have tongits for Bitcoin. Probably because the game isn't very well known yet.
Yes, I think that is the reason there is no such game on Bitcoin gambling sites. From the video I think it's a nice game which reminded me some card games I played as a kid, and I think it would be great if one of the gambling sites had this game. But people usually don't like to learn something new, that's why gambling sites have very known games or the games which is very easy to play.

thats a really cool design going to play this game for a while
Not only cool design, but also the bets are very fast there compared to other dice sites, and you can have 500 sats from their faucet every 3 minutes.

In your opinion what are the reasons that let someone start dumping his bitcoins and walk away ? I personally (and this is just my opinion) that it's more panic then simply his need of money or something else , as we saw on the BitcoinXT last time , people started to panic and simply sold their bitcoins and that caused a drop in the price .
Yes, panic is always the main reason of all dramatical drops, not only bitcoin-related. The people that sell their coins out of panic not only lose their own money but also make others lose theirs.

I use Bitcoin for savings mostly. But I also like to gamble a little, just for fun, on Bitcoin gambling sites. I'd like to use it in other fields like buying products or services but I never tried it there so far.
I heard you can buy an Amazon digital gift card with Bitcoin and then use it on amazon to buy whatever you want. If someone here had this experience I'd like to hear if it really works, because this is really interesting way to use Bitcoin IMO.

To people who are not familiar with this magazine, it's very highly regarded everywhere in Europe. It's British and more than 150 years old. I bet this cover page alone is worth a rise of at least 3% in BTC's price. The article is also available online but you need to register.
I agree with this. When such respectful periodicals like The Economist or Forbes cover the subject it is much much better for the Bitocin adoption than hundreds of articles by incompetent journalists in tabloids.
