It's blockchain.info, it's non-seeded so he doesn't have the 12 words.
If your funds actually exited your wallet there is nothing you can do, I assume that there is nothing to do with blockchain.info operators and it's probably your wallet/computer has been compromised. It's a lesson to learn- next time if you store funds that you can't afford losing then do it on a hardware wallet offline, so you won't risk losing your funds due to lack of security.
Blockchain.info has the 12 word seed. The user owns the private keys and the seed. I think it's a good wallet, considering it's a online wallet.... Probably someone got access to his seed. As he uses 2FA, it's very unlikely the site had been hacked. I asked a few times but he didn't answer how he stored his seed...

Yeah, it's tough to "be your own bank" when your funds are physically in the custody of someone else. But every storage medium has its tradeoffs. It just depends what the biggest threats are.
A friend of a friend had his house burglarized and his safe stolen -- everything gone. Probably a targeted/inside job. Anyway, in hindsight, I guess he'd have been better off with a safe deposit box. I think the moral of that story is don't put all your eggs in one basket. You should never store everything in one place.
Maybe if his privatekeys were inside a drawer, they would not have been stolen. They would look worthless. Or splitting privatekey/seed in two separate pieces of paper maybe a good idea also.

Perfeita resposta.

I don't think theme will change anytime soon. I like the current theme, but it hurts my eyes at night. So I am using f.lux , a good program that reduces de blues light and increases the red light. Pretty good to sleep.

Market is recovering, but many altcoins are not. It's possible that some of them never will. Few altcoins have survived the long term.
That's why it's important to make a long term portfolio with the market leaders, mostly bitcoin and ethereum. I don't like ripple but it's a good choice for long term too.
As you are going down the coinmarketcap the risk is higher. That's why people who invest (and even overinvestment sometimes) in those coins and get worried.

It seems to me, that blockchain could help developing countries, but instead of it India forbids bitcoin That's the exactly problem with developing countries. Solutions are banned, government controls everything. There's a legion of idiots and paid idiots that supports every government decision. Look at Brazilian central bank president. And there's a bunch of people who supports him. https://cointelegraph.com/news/brazilian-central-bank-president-says-bitcoin-is-pyramid-scheme

Sorry if this is a very dumb question, but can you help me understand the "longest chain" is the valid chain concept? This is something I'm confused about when it comes to bcash, as it is currently the longer chain. Is it because these are two separate coins at this point? Or does the "Longest chain" refer to mined blocks that become orphaned?
Bcash is another coin, no matter how long that chain is. It has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Its so funny to see how people changes their minds so easily... when BTX went form 5 to 30 USD, people were expecting to see hundreds in few months.... Than the price dropped and everyone was like noo, its gonna be 1 dollar, we are screwed... and now, we see the price growing again and everyone has their minds in the clouds again. Seeing for sure those thousands of dollars prices and lambos all over the place...
Buy high sell low mentallity. If you believe the project, just hodl and you will never lose. Don't get overinvested, so you won't get worried.

Misconception #8. Bitcoin is free. Wrong
Bitcoin is not free. As other currencies bitcoin is " Crypto Currency " but it is not free. Yes you can get it by many means some famous are (faucets, mining, etc). But its not free you are investing your money and time on Machine , internet and work which you provides to get.
I saw this picture recently. Cost to mine 1 bitcoin is pretty high around the world, with very few exceptions.

I thought that when I added a board to watch board, it was automatically added to the watchlist. Isn't this what happens?
