12621  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Mining profitable? on: October 28, 2015, 01:03:45 PM
Actually is mining bitcoin profitable? And what is the mining altcoins?
As far as I know, normal computer is not profitable to mine. Is buying a mining hardware helping to earn money?
What hardware should to maximize profit I use if I were to mine?

You can mine altcoins with the same equipment you mine Bitcoins and you can mine them much more than Bitcoins at the same time. The question is do they worth anything? There were hundreds of altcoins and only few of them survived.
12622  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: October 28, 2015, 12:53:24 PM
When you here word gambling then immediately what comes to your mind,

is it you can become rich easily? or

today you can have some fun? or

today you can make lose some money? or

Any other things?

haha, that's a nice question!  Smiley If I hear the word gambling the first thing that comes to mind is Bitcoin, because I was never gambling before I registered on those Bitcoin Gambling Websites.
12623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks 300; Now What? on: October 28, 2015, 12:47:55 PM
waiting for 350 or even 400, before saying that 300 is "our", as it is right now it does not seems sustainable

i'm impatient to wait, what will be the next range where manipulators will play their trading game

I think the price rises because many people realize now that if they won't buy today at $300 they will buying tomorrow at $400, figuratively speaking. )

And few months from now they will buying at $500.
12624  Economy / Economics / Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 on: October 28, 2015, 11:12:34 AM
I usually don't really care about the damn debt though it can affect millions of people. I have to say the number has a lot lot lot of zeros in it. So how do they gonna solve this problem?

You can not solve this.Sooner or later this system will collapse. And then they will try the same again.

Yep.  It might take 2 or 3 years to recover from the collapse but then all will be okay again.  Smiley

Something like the collapse happened several times already in the past. The life goes on nevertheless.
12625  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why International media is so kind toward same Genders Marriage on: October 28, 2015, 09:55:13 AM
Because it's normal. We are living in the 21st century, I hope you realize that and as soon as clear your mind and thoughts.

I agree. I think the less you blame the other's way of living the more civilized you are, which means you are the representative of the 21st century's progressive thinking.
12626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Proposes Jail Sentence for Bitcoin Activities on: October 28, 2015, 09:38:08 AM
It s got nothing to do with illegal activities. It s got everything to do with Russian trying to destroy everything they cannot control directly. Even Chinese recognized benefits of BTC, do you really think Russia can stop it?

Haha, of course she can't.  Smiley Freedom can't be stopped in the internet age fortunately. Some may try to though, but they will never succeed.
12627  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: October 28, 2015, 09:30:20 AM

Sounds more like a well placed AD.

yup! he is like advertising more that suggesting on the given topic, hehe
Cloud mining is not advisable for me because of the low profit and a lot of cost.

Above all, most of the Cloud mining sites are scummers. So even if you are ok with low profit you should think twice before joining them.

They basically mine with your money.

Some of them or even most of them do not mine at all. They show you pictures with gigantic mining facilities so that you might think how serious they are, but in fact most them just use the Pyramid scheme. STAY AWAY is the best advice I can give.
12628  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 28, 2015, 09:19:29 AM
In some cases Gambling is like alcoholic or drug use, peoplecantstop,if thay loose everything thay are landing, but it is really terrible story,it is kind of ilness

Exactly! I wish more people realize that if you can't stop gambling regardless of what harm to your life it is causing then you are sick and you need professional medical help.
12629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Proposes Jail Sentence for Bitcoin Activities on: October 28, 2015, 08:58:10 AM
All the dictatorship regimes are afraid of everything which is associated with freedom. I strongly believe that they will not succeed in banning freedom though. The times has changed.

Hmm who is this person? Creator of SR 2?

I gave his posting history a quick view but got even more confused after a while.

He is the founder and administrator of Black Market Reloaded, one of Silk Road's biggest competitors. He is one of the few big players of the dark web in times of SR and SR2 who wasn't caught.
12631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People become believers when they see you pay IRL on: October 27, 2015, 05:03:25 PM
So my friend was in Canada and it was really cold, none of his friends had change, he had some Bitcoin in his phone. Happened to find a place where they would accept BTC. He bought some coffees and warm chocolate and invited all of his friends with it. A quick payment into the guy's Bitcoin address which was printed in a piece of paper, delivered a nice breakfast for him and all his friends. Then they understood how Bitcoin is money no matter what others might say. They stopped seeing it as some geek weird thing. I think using Bitcoin in real life in return of some useful service in front of clueless guys that still think it's not real money, is a great way to teach them how Bitcoin is very real and the real party hasn't even begun yet. Thats why we must never forget about the importance of small transactions like those. Buying some coffee in exchange of Bitcoin impressed them more than any of the revolutionary protocol tech stuff you could explain them.

That is such a nice story! I wish I was in your friend's place  Smiley

And cheers to Canada! They hardly accept Bitcoin anywere in my country. They do actually but in very few places.
12632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 27, 2015, 04:24:53 PM
Allright, I'm always saying that there is no strategy and bla bla bla ... But now I decided to share the strategy I play with in recent times. Here it is:

Set the win chance to 90% and start betting with 100k sats (no autobetting, only manual).

If you win 5 times in a row lower your bet to 50k.

If you  win 5 times in a row again then lower your bet to 25k ... etc.

If you lose then rise your bet multiplying it x2 two times: so if you lost 25k your next bet would be 100k. And make 2-3 bets like that and then return to your 25k bet.

This strategy might work for someone but don't blame me if you'll lose everything, because you should always play with the money you can easily afford to lose. )

EDIT: you must have at least 0.02 in balance to start betting with 100k
12633  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 27, 2015, 04:06:51 PM

Even working for 24 hours straight wouldn't get you rich.
-snip-

This is very true, unless your job is something that nets you a couple thousand dollars a day (which is very rare). Even creating a business won't work or has a small chance of succeeding. You are likely to end up losing money rather than being a millionaire.

I agree. That's why if you are not rich already you shouldn't even try to become one. Why don't just get a good job with a decent salary and start enjoying your life. Most of the rich people are very unhappy IMO btw.

12635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cash remains the only option if there's an emergency on: October 27, 2015, 02:56:14 PM
in is truly accepted that money is the only option in emergency, but it should be according to the situation, what situation you gave in that money will also not be useable. everything has its own usage.

I think that in the real emergency cases even the cash couldn't be useful, because the person's life will be in danger and then people usually don't think about using cash or bitcoins, they usually in this cases think about survive..

In the first few hours, yes, but then, if you survived the disaster you'll need something to eat and then you'll need some cash or Bitcoins if it is possible to use them where you are.
12636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 27, 2015, 02:45:56 PM
I bought once and the price went down too much.
That was my worst 'mistake' i would say.
But in your case i would think that you learned something and we should 'predict' if the price will go up or down.
For now bitcoin is only rising rapidly and it is going to reach soon $300.

Yes i think the price will continue increasing till the next halving coming on the summer. So i think holding Bitcoins nowadays is profitable idea. However we have to take care always and try to predict if the price will go up or down before buying bitcoin

Now buying BTC is a safe bet IMO. The price is rising and rising, and even if it goes a bit down it will inevitably rise to $500 in several months. But I wouldn't recommend anybody to invest all the money he has in anything even if it looks like a very wise dicision. The life  is unpredictable you know. )
12637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: October 27, 2015, 02:22:56 PM
Voted: I'am not , I play it smart  Smiley Yes, my profit is negative, but I haven't lost much actually: not more than 0.1 BTC from a year of gambling. I'm always saying: Do not bet more than you can afford to lose and you'll be fine.
12638  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 27, 2015, 02:18:06 PM
Faucets are good for starters, especially for school kids who want to learn more what Bitcoin is. So I think it's a good thing generally. But for those who want to make significant profit they are useless IMO. I heard that there are some bots which can milk the faucets but I never used them so idk.
12639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 27, 2015, 02:08:39 PM
I'm constantly accumulating (when I manage to earn some) and holding (never sold a single satoshi for FIAT currency): bitcoin is my complementary retirement plan ...or somethiing to leave as inherit to kids

That's really nice. I'm not saying I have enough coins to to think of it as a retirement plan or as somethiing to leave as inheritance to kids, but I also never sold a single satoshi for FIAT currency and I'm not going to in the near future. The less people sell the higher the price.

Contacts from PSU är made of Bronze, connected to the copper wirings, and then to Aluminium cables. so its kinda a nice mix up haha Grin.

look.

you need to unplug this death trap NOW.

aluminum and copper wiring DO NOT PLAY WELL TOGETHER.

I agree. Since the aluminum wiring expands when it is warmed and contracts when cool much more then a copper one I suggest OP to use copper wiring only. I know that the copper wiring is more expensive but it is worth the price IMO.

I think were all in agreement.  But I don't think OP will be doing this from his view on the wiring.   I don't think he truly  understands how scary it is.

I mean you go to sleep... if that thing catches fire in middle of night that would be horrible.  Make sure you have a lot of fire alarms in your house as that wiring truly is unsafe.

Haha yeah i am not using that PSU anymore,, ill be making copper wiring only then.

I got massive ammount of copper wiring Wink so is no problem.

one thing i wonder is, if i connect 4x 12v together, do they add up as 48v or they mainan at 12v ?

That depends on how you connect them, series or parallel. With parallel you'll have same 12v, but with series you'll have 48 v so be careful. Maybe you should consult with an electrician.
