And there is no hard saving btc for future purposes.

If you don't use your coins regularly then it's much better for you to hold coins.

Believe me, in years to come your saved coins are saved. Bitcoin will not be dead because it will gain so much adoption and the companies that accepting bitcoin are proof that bitcoin grows day by day.

12644  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2016, 06:22:23 PM
my mistake when I first get bitcoin pretty much around 0.5, then my friend suggested investing in HYIP/Ponzi and stupid when I did not know that it is very risky and I lost all my bitcoin Cry
Well, it's the same incident that happened to me, I also never like it, but I spend capital not for you, I only spend capital for 0006 BTC, BTC but it was my first, and finally the HYIP to be a scam site

People learned from previous mistake or should I say people 'must' learned from it. So I consider it's fine if people think they can earned in HYIP program and scheme at first.

People really a dumb if after they end up busted in those kind of program, still they will continue to invest in those sites to chase the loss.

High returns, short ROI, that's the main cover of a HYIP site so beware especially to those new in this kind of scheme.

They can ask the community first if the site is somehow legit or suspicious.
12645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 13, 2016, 06:08:42 PM
I bought some earlier at $422 price.

Im doing exchange trading. Im just buying when the price suffers dip.

What if the price dips more than my buy price? No worries. Still going long. After all I think I can never see such a 'cheap' price while halving approachs.
12646  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 13, 2016, 06:01:58 PM
I would go with investing too, it's wrong to save since the interest is very low.
You can find a safe investment strategy here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508270.msg13538281#msg13538281

Saving is not always for interest purposes. The mainly point of saving discussion in this thread is all about the money you will not spend to be used in general purposes in the future.

While investing, much better to have a percentage for saving.

It is really hard to trade these days. The majority of altcoins are scams, and the rest of them are hard to predict and full or pump and dumpers.

I`d be cautious to only invest in coins that have fundamentals.

Then forget investing and do trades to those other altcoins and focused bitcoin to usd and vice versa trades for the meantime.

You can practice it via Exchange Trading (e.g. bitfinex) to see how the things done.
12650  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 12, 2016, 01:50:58 PM
Cuz halving is this year i will try to save as much as i can and try trading to increase my amount
Most of us are expecting a huge pump by this halving period but i don't think that will happen, it can be a slightly increase but not much to make huge profit

There might not be huge pump. The price will rise gradually, mainly due to the popularity of the bticoin over time.

This is legit. But be aware there is no guarantee something like this will happen.
I believe we are in for some more price increasing the coming period, but it could go down very fast aswell.
So if you are looking for a 3-5 year period, then it's a good time to buy more bitcoins now.

Even halving won't give a high price we are expecting, still you will be happy and will not realize how much coins you saved because of this speculation of high rise. Still you have your saved coins to you which will increases their overall value now because of added quantity of it.

12652  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: January 12, 2016, 03:27:50 AM
Hi, I have a question, I have tried sending the coins I got from the signature campaign to my yobit wallet and when I did, the date was supposedly just 01-11-16 but the row for 01-12-16.  Isn't forum time the same as the time on yobit or what?

Yobit has different timezone with this forum.

Have you got any idea what timezone yobit is in? I tried asking in the chat bar but either nobody knew or nobody could be bothered replying. Im hoping they update the site so it has timestamps in the trades because at the moment all you can see are dates which make it difficult to narrow down certain  things.

Yobit post count resets around 19:00 forum time. Then just convert it in your timezone.

In case of Jacee, around 3AM in the Philippines.
12653  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 03:20:02 AM
i think, worst mistake for most beginners is investing there btc in cloud mining sites.

This is a real problem. A lot of newcomers are seduced to invest in some big ponzi and lost money.
Then they leave bitcoin because the rumours, it's used for criminals, seems to be true.

It's bad, real bad for bitcoin.
most beginners dont know what it ponzi, which they knew was getting ROI as soon as possible and gain a lot,
so that they are mistaken and choose cloudmining ponzi,
it looks like they should look first service section

Even they don't know the word ponzi or any high returns suspicous moves, it's a common move to do research and ask questions in any kind of community before investing such money in an 'investment site'. It's just that they want an easy money that's why they disregarding research first.
12654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 03:09:25 AM
The way i use to grow my btc is by buying altcoin especially dogecoin and ussually if bitcoin price up dogecoin are down..and i buy dogecoin when price is down compare to bitcoin and sell it when the price is up also compare to bitcoin
for altcoins trades you should be careful, although it altcoin popular as doge
I bought doge at the price 70 satoshi, 3-4 months ago, I have not sold it, because doge prices have not returned to that price, until now

Yeah Altcoin trading is very risky. Remember the scams and in that perspective most altcoins are scams.
Cheap rip-offs of bitcoin. It's been that way forever.
If some one want to go in Altcoins then he must to some very hard work and then invest his hard earning money because too many developers doing this only for scams better invest in few solid coins like Dash. Clam and Litecoin

That's why I never did other altcoin trading as it also a dust and waste of time. Others asking me why Im saying that and there are lot of promising coins. Nah Im different. There's no such thing as promising coins in my own view. That's the reality. If other people gain profit from it then it's fine. The only thing I like for altcoin is they are here to balance. Better to focus in Exchange Trading of BTC to USD and vice versa.

Anyways don't get mad at me guys. That is my own view. People have different views. Smiley
12655  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 12, 2016, 03:03:10 AM
After all, it all depends on your goals and your financial situation.

Financial situation should not be a border for you to choose either to save or to invest because even investment could start as small as $30. People has been buying gold as an investment and that kind of investment could start as low as buying 1 gram of gold or depends on hows your financial situation is

You are right it shouldn't be a border in terms of investment as small capital businesses can grow but let's think out of the box. It should consider in the first place in terms of saving. Let's talk in general and not just gold purchases. Bring this thought in reality. Everyone must give solution for that financial situation in order for both saving and invesment plan to be execute properly. Not all will choose gold investment as an example of yours. It should be in general and can applied in real life aspects.
12656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 12, 2016, 02:52:42 AM
What does everyone think of the Timberwolves?

A young team with not too much for wins right now but do you think in a few years they might have something?  Long time fan here and am really really wanting something to come of this.  I haven't had any luck with them for a long time since KG left and hoping the team holds out.

They need a revamp and sacrifice at least two players with a high salary. They must open for possible trades for a key player to and strengthen their bench players.

Back in Garnet's peak still they are not opening trades for a high caliber level player now, at least. We don't know the problem. If salary cap, there are lots of solution. Management? Hmmm we don't know.
12657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: January 11, 2016, 12:51:56 PM
I usually earn bitcoins by trading altcoins , go to altcoin section of the forum watch the market and learn.

It's one kind of gambling only if you don't know what you are playing with...
You might lose everything or get a shot in which you might make 100 or even 1000x of your investment on such alts...

Yes trading is risky if we haven't experience about it and especially when trading the dead altcoins, it's really like gambling and could cause big loses

The risk in trading is worth to try than to gamble in those gambling type games.

There are ways to minimize losses so in the end you will not end up busted. If you don't have experience then make an experience. After all you can't do the art of trading if you will not try it by yourself.
12658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: January 11, 2016, 11:17:27 AM
Is there any way we can predict a price rise? And also, is there any way we can predict when the price will drop? If there is way, I'm sure it will help others and myself a lot! The only way I have used is to see if people are buying tons and tons of coins.

Anyone can predict a price rise of course. That is only a prediction and no one knows if it will happen. But for the accuracy of the prediction you can't. Rather than thinking unrealistically, you can feel how the market moves to help you execute your next move in to buy or sell your bitcoins.
12659  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 11, 2016, 11:06:41 AM
For a starter, most of the reason is investing their beloved satoshis in a ponzi scheme.

For an average, most of the reason is gambling and investing too in a ponzi scheme.

For an old timer, most the reason is regret.

If applied to myself,

For a starter = Yes back in my newbie days, I was amazed by some high returns ponzi then eventually turn out to be a 100% ponzi.

For an average = Gambling like anyone else.

For an old timer = Im not an old timer. Just involve in bitcoin world 10months ago.

Because of this mistakes, I now learned.

Never repeat the same mistake you did before.
12660  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: January 11, 2016, 10:38:41 AM
I see almost everyone speaks trading strategy is to "buy when prices fall and selling when prices rise"
I saw it in a variety of thread, My question, can buy when prices rise?

Yes of course you can buy when the price rises.

There is no such thing as price high and low. The key here is to gain profit.

You can learn some trader's tip from Google search or by heading to Speculation thread where you can see lot's of speculation with or without basis lol.
