i was also payed less 0.1183, when my payment should have been clearly 0.13 the maximum...not a big deal but still....

Same for me last Wednesday lel  , It's definitely a bug or something , I was supposed to get 0.11 BTC and I got 0.0968 instead .
note that I reached the maximum and even more
12682  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk strategies on: August 03, 2015, 06:31:39 AM
i wanna ask you as experience or beginner about:

  • what's your participations strategies ?
  • how you manage your time here and how much time you spend ?
  • your posts are based about what and which your sources of informations ?
  • have you any problems with forume terms or rules ?

I have like 12-14 hours a day because I'am on holiday and I all spend them near this PC so yeah , I manage it very well Grin
I most of the time post either on the marketplace (Asking questions or selling my digital stuff) or Help beginners however sometime even I need help (it happens often) even if I'am here since months now , still there is something that I don't know on Bitcoin world and it doesn't hurt to learn more stuff .
I don't have any programs with forums terms or rules , I only wish if they could prevent the spam on the marketplace section and don't allow newbies to post there . we see a lot of crap going on the Lending section these days
12683  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Free] Anomaly: Warzone Earth on Steam on: August 03, 2015, 06:20:35 AM
I sent keys to all who posted .
I still have some more keys left so feel free to post , don't post with  yours alts because you should leave chance to other people .
12684  Other / Meta / Re: Can I get this account closed along with a thread? on: August 02, 2015, 05:27:36 PM
Yes you will most likely get a negative trust , it's a Ponzi what do you expect .
You can close the thread from the button "Close topic" however I see it already closed. If you mean delete the topic then no you can't do that .
Same goes for the account , you can't get your account closed . If you don't want to use it anymore simply don't connect . Admins can ban your account though for spamming or other ban evasion or different reasons etc ...
12685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importing wallet.dat ? on: August 02, 2015, 05:09:01 PM
As usual Muhammed Zakir save the situation . Thank you so much mate , I really appreciate what you are doing to the community .
I also sent you 5$ as a thanks Grin I hope the address on your profile is the right one .

@Deathwing  Pretty sure that Multibit don't read wallet.dat either .
12686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importing wallet.dat ? on: August 02, 2015, 04:44:57 PM

Or .. is there is any wallet.dat reader ? basically convert it to string or something so I can read it using Notepad and I copy private keys and do whatever I need to ?

Gracias amigos  Sad

Yes, if you import it back into a fresh bitcoin-qt installation, you can use dumpprivkey.

Quote
And If I manage to import it , will I have all addresses that I had on .dat to my Blockchain.info account ? I mean I can sign messages from my Blockchain.info of all addresses I had on Bitcoin Core ?

Yes.

No mate (for your first answer) , I need something else because Bitcoin Core is totally screwed on my PC and takes always time to reindex which doesn't really worth it I'am looking for something fast .

for your second answer , well I don't have option to import .dat on my blockchain.info account , I only have that link from google to the Import wallet.dat page and if I import , how it will get linked to my account that I already have ?  Huh
12687  Other / Beginners & Help / Importing wallet.dat ? on: August 02, 2015, 04:38:28 PM
Now and after I upgraded to Windows 10  & as some of you have seen my old threads here and know the high Paranoïa that I have ... I made a blockchain.info wallet , I sent about 0.25 BTC to that wallet which means I have only one address on that account for now .

Beside the 0.25 BTC which are on my btc wallet , I have a backup of my wallet from Bitcoin Core .
I need to basically send funds to my Electrum wallet and I know I could do the following :

for the 0.25 BTC I could just send it but for the .dat it's something else because Electrum don't allow importing it .

I could import wallet.dat to Blockchain.info https://blockchain.info/fr/wallet/import-wallet from here but why It doesn't require connecting to my account there ?

And If I manage to import it , will I have all addresses that I had on .dat to my Blockchain.info account ? I mean I can sign messages from my Blockchain.info of all addresses I had on Bitcoin Core ?

Or .. is there is any wallet.dat reader ? basically convert it to string or something so I can read it using Notepad and I copy private keys and do whatever I need to ?

12689  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500,000 per Bitcoin, baby. The math behind it. on: August 02, 2015, 03:09:49 PM
Interesting , It's probably possible to reach that price 50,000$ however we need to know when , when is what matters to be honest .
Because if it takes too long then 50000$ won't worth anything by that time and it would be useless .
$50,000 in this era would cause the mining to attempt to consume about 3% of all the electricity produced on the planet.  So, I think not.  Maybe in the next era or the one after that.

You can see my calculations a few pages back, here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720179.msg8135635#msg8135635

First of all , welcome back I saw the topic that theymos made about you months ago so ... You said this (not sure if you meant 50k or actually 500k) :
Quote
So, in order to keep our power consumption under about 2% of world wide power production, we cannot/do not want the price to get to $500,000 before era 6, which is about 2033 or so.

In my opinion , that's more then perfect , I have now 18 years old so I guess I have time and I have no problem on waiting another 18 years if I will become rich but as I said maybe after 18 years that amount in USD won't have the same value as now at all .
12690  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] CryptoCircuits Signature Campaign - Earn up to 0.15 BTC for 50 posts! on: August 02, 2015, 02:47:10 PM
Seems like they are the highest rates around however most of people prefer weekly then monthly , still good . and you should make devthedev post here to confirm that he actually hold the funds I guess
Anyway I just wanted to point that you made a mistake on the OP :

Quote
Rates
Full Members 0.05 for 50 posts (Rate of 0.001BTC) [Max. Participants: 20]

12692  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: C# - Give me few project ideas ? on: August 02, 2015, 12:38:38 PM
Thanks for the idea HugoTheSpider , I'am not sure if I can do since it looks advanced and I didn't fully understand what you want to be accomplished to be honest . Also C# is not much used and there isn't a lot of API's around . (not like Python and other languages)
however I will look into it and see what I can do .
12693  Economy / Gambling / Re: WheelOfSatoshi.com is it a scam? Cant withdraw on: August 02, 2015, 11:47:49 AM
hello

i just wanted to ask if this website is a scam, i cannot withdraw my earnings . Everytime i try to withdraw i get this "Coins sent - Error with bitcoin server. Please try again later" . Further to this, i have emailed them but no response.

I think this site is a scam!

Was checking and I'am not sure about this being legit because while checking the Withrawal tab on their website seems like the last withraw was like six months ago 2015-03-03 11:53:34 and it's a low value .

This is their email : support@wheelofsatoshi.com  (In case you Pm'ed another one)
and this should be the owner profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=336338 (Inactive since 14 July)

Website don't seem to be famous and amounts aren't high to be honest , so how much do you have on the account ? If it's a big amount then you could be scammed .
12694  Bitcoin / Project Development / C# - Give me few project ideas ? on: August 02, 2015, 10:35:24 AM
Now and I have fresh PC and I installed Windows 10 , I 'am planning to install Visual studio 2015 and start developing using C# once again since it's been a long time since I didn't touch any programming IDE  Roll Eyes

So give me few ideas what I should do (Basically for Windows , Android , iOS & Windows Phone) small , medium projects I guess ,nothing big I'am not that professional .

I was thinking on making something for Watch-only ? Basically a program on your PC you can add to it how much addresses you want with Label and once it receives something you get a notification but I'am not sure if it's already available or not .

Anyway just let me know what do you think (about this project) + new ideas
12695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar’s New UI Prototype Released , What do you think of it ? on: August 02, 2015, 10:14:12 AM
Thought I personally prefer dark themes for most of my things, I'm not sure it's the best suited color scheme for an open marketplace. People have different perceptions and preferences - I hope they provide an option to switch themes and personally would not make this the default.

I guss you didn't see the text between the two first pictures , as you can "Merchants are given the ability to fully customize their stores – from header colors, text colors, background images to color themes." under the first picture .
You will see on the store what the store owner choosed (colors , text etc ... ) , It's good enough . No Marketplace have done that before IMO
12696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar’s New UI Prototype Released , What do you think of it ? on: August 02, 2015, 09:32:42 AM
i like that project and it would be cool if it succeeds. but how will they prevent people from selling alot of illegal stuff? that would hurt it open bazaars reputation.  Undecided

This should make you more comfortable  : http://fortune.com/2015/06/25/openbazaar-not-silk-road/
I personally don't think people will sell those Illegal stuff , even if there is they won't be a lot to do that because difference between Silk road & OpenBazaar is that Silk road was focusing on selling those stuff .
12697  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to accept Bitcoin on a website using Electrum on: August 02, 2015, 08:59:13 AM
Electrum 2.4 can be used in to accept Bitcoin on a webserver, with signed payment requests.

I recently added this page to the documentation:
https://electrum.orain.org/wiki/How_to_accept_Bitcoin_on_a_website_using_Electrum

enjoy!

Good stuff Grin Keep up the good work ThomasV
There is also this plugin for WordPress on WooCommerce which you can setup it using Electrum : https://wordpress.org/plugins/bitcoin-payments-for-woocommerce/installation/ not sure if it's created by you though .
12698  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LEGIT CLOUDMINING SERVICE? on: August 02, 2015, 08:44:40 AM
Is there any high trusted cloudmining service that not will end up in a scam?

Most likely it's https://cex.io/cloud-mining ? I never tried it but I know it's exists from long long time . (both cloud mining and exchange business)
You shouldn't trust any company randomly or you will end up either losing your money or getting hacked (if you use same password) and CloudMinr.io is a prove of that .
Is the cloudmining working again? A few months ago i bought ghs there but btc price was to low to be profitable so it was turned off.

That was announced in January As far as I know , and I was searching little bit and I found this on May 27 : https://support.cex.io/hc/en-us/articles/204138206 So it's should be available once again .

12700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core Reindexing After Windows 10 Crash on: August 02, 2015, 08:28:41 AM
Two days ago I upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. This evening Windows 10 Blue Screen Crashed. Bitcoin Core came up okay when the computer came back, but it started Reindexing 6+ years of blocks. Is this normal and is there anyway to prevent this in the future? Is there something I should do differently? I am running a Bitcoin Core Node on another machine so I'm not in danger of losing anything but am concerned.

There is nothing to worry about ,  I get Database corrupted message all the time with Bitcoin Core which pisses me off and made me change to Electrum (or making me ... since I'am upgrading to Windows 10 right now ) Since the blockchain is downloaded already , you just need to wait reindexing and you should be fine and good to go and you won't lose anything .
