12681  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Darkwallet vs. Bitmixer.io ? on: July 30, 2015, 06:51:57 AM
If I'm not mistaken, Darkwallet uses stealth addresses, something that can be used depending on the blockchain only, thus being decentralized. Bitmixer is just a mixing service. AFAIK Darkwallet does not do mixing itself, so they're different things for different purposes.

Speaking about those Stealth adresses , I was searching on their Github page then got linked to their Wiki page . I read about Stealth things but I didn't get a word how does those things works if you could make it simplier to me

I think they are addresses that don't show up on the blockchain with details, only the 2 parties involved know the details. Not sure tho. The guy developing Darkwallet named Amir used to post here I think but disappeared for months and the project has been frozen.

It's not really frozen AFAIK , their twitter account seem to be active and they are retweeting from time to time , also they asked funding on their twitter in March so project should be UP and they still working on it . it's 75% funded like you see on the link I gave on OP .

i have used bitmixer before and everything seemed to work, also i heard that it provides good services, there is no need to trust it to darkwallet as it says its not stable

I just want to know what is the difference between it and Bitmixer.io , it's not trusted and not stable because it's on Alpha stage testing and that's normal , they don't want us to lose our money so we have to wait . still curious to know the difference between those two
12682  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Report Vita2 on: July 29, 2015, 08:46:36 PM
It's weird how he scammed him for 4$ while he have done a deal with master-P which is more valuable and with spartan82 a value of near 0.5 BTC . It makes me wonder if it's really him who scammed you . I'am the only one funding this weird ? gonna leave negative trust though
12683  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you heard of "Samourai Bitcoin Wallet" ? on: July 29, 2015, 07:26:04 PM
I've heard about it but the last time I checked it was in alpha stage, so not sure what happened ever since

Well it's still Alpha stage as I mentioned , when you heard about it please  Huh
maybe It's dead and I'am just killing my self with searching and reading
12684  Economy / Digital goods / Re: http://cheap1.weebly.com/ on: July 29, 2015, 07:00:26 PM
any one has buy any items from there i need some reviews
i am intrested to buy hosting for ever for 2$ it is great deal but any one here this blog before?
http://cheap1.weebly.com/

It's basically impossible to find that website if you was looking for hosting in google because it's weebly and weebly isn't the best for SEO as we all know .
So where did you find that website or it's yours and you are just promoting it ? website contains back links to Payivy so no body can really tell if it actually works or not . if you found it in another forum link us to it and i will let you know
12685  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2015, 05:48:59 PM

The universal mistake of all people involved with Bitcoin is not starting early enough. Imagine being the first to discover the new technology, and mine it with the most mediocre mining power because the difficulty of the blocks were so low. As far as investing in altcoins. Some were successes. Dogecoin was something I never thought would lift off the ground and somehow made a name for itself. Perhaps not investing in that was also a mistake.

Indeed mate , I couldn't disagree on this one .
If I heard of Bitcoin earlier I would've join for sure but the shit thing is I heard of it until January 2014 and started using it on late 2014 so I was already too late for the train but I guess I still can catch up and buy BTC to hold them Grin #to da moon.
for what comes to Alternative coins , never thinked on them not even once . for me they are simply copies of BTC which dosen't really worth anything .
12686  Economy / Service Discussion / Have you heard of "Samourai Bitcoin Wallet" ? on: July 29, 2015, 05:17:27 PM
Never heard of it and I want to hear somethings about it from people who actually used it or know people who used it .
I was simply googling about more informations for Darkwallet and I found it on CoinTelegraph Article : http://cointelegraph.com/news/114387/samourai-wallet-a-serious-darkwallet-contender

Official website : http://samouraiwallet.com/

In my honest opinion , website dosen't look so profesional  but well .

P.S : They are like Darkwallet , on Alpha so it's not the final release and use it at your own risk .
12687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core synchronization too slow (2 years and 11 weeks)! on: July 29, 2015, 05:08:01 PM
I don't know why but my Bitcoin Core synchronization is very very slow... can you guys help me? Embarrassed

If it's Synchronization with the Network then it may take very longtime if you have Bad internet (make sure to use the latest version of Bitcoin Core) because it's a downloading a 30GB File on your AppData .
If you have "Reindexing from disk" then It will take less time because it's just checking the files you downloaded before your the first step .
If you have the choice , I'd advice you to switch to Electrum to be honest , this is the decision I took lately because I saw that Bitcoin Core is screwing my shitty PC and always when I run it I found Corrupted database and have to sync again each tiime .

12691  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-07-29] Microsoft Hosts bitcoinless Bitcoin 2.0 Event for 'Social Good' on: July 29, 2015, 04:20:54 PM
In another splash into the Bitcoin space for Microsoft, the tech giant's Civic Innovation team organized a Bitcoin event in New York earlier this week. Co-organized by MIT Media Lab's Digital Currency Initiative – which currently funds Bitcoin Core development - the evening's headliners at the newly opened LMHQ event space in lower Manhattan explored Bitcoin's potential for “social good.” With one topic conspicuously absent: bitcoin.

12692  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: July 29, 2015, 04:15:28 PM
Who could confirm that this is the current icon of Electrum ? I'am afraid that I'am not using the official version even if I downloaded from their official website some time ago .

EDIT : Why on the website latest version says : "2.4" while when you download from here (Windows) : https://electrum.org/#download It gives you 2.3.2  Huh  Huh make no sense
12693  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Guy asks me to send 7 Bitcoins first- trying to deploy scam tactics, users Beware on: July 29, 2015, 03:35:19 PM
The person it self seems very trusted because he got rated from several trusted members and that trust came from transactions of 16 BTC and that's a huge amount .
however it's weird that he insist to not use Escrow while he was using (when you see his trust) so and looking to his password change I'd say it's either hacked or sold account (most likely hacked) because trusted members don't sell their accounts because they know they will be used for scamming .

After checking the SEC log : July 23, 2015, 02:07:56 AM - daggerman - password reset via email Eitheri t's him because it's from the email or he got totally hacked .
12694  Economy / Service Discussion / Darkwallet vs. Bitmixer.io ? on: July 29, 2015, 03:27:32 PM
I want to know what's exactly is the difference between those two services , I never tested any of them but I know how basically Bitmixer.io works and I didn't test Darkwallet because they said it's not Safe and not stabe and we should use it at our own risk.

I thought Darkwallet is giving Off-chain transactions however from reading there website seems like it's not ?

I saw that they use CoinJoin Mixing or something like that so what's exactly is the difference between those two and if it's just mixing then why it need so much money to get developped https://www.darkwallet.is/donate/

12697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam Credit Rating System on: July 28, 2015, 12:38:47 PM
"Your Credit Score is calculated by taking into account the amount of verified information we have about you, your past repayment behaviour, number of open credit lines, frequency of loans, and number of late payments. "
You can't get higher unless you verify the others and you can't get higher then that unless you loan and repay as should be AFAIK but for the profile thing It's normal since you missed some steps like : Verifying Twitter account , LinkedIn Account and also Online Wallets (Localbitcoins and Volabit) that should be the reason for that pourcentage on your profile Reference .

12699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency User Base on: July 28, 2015, 12:03:33 PM
Alternative coins users should be much less then Bitcoin logically and last time I've seen a video speaks about the number of Bitcoin users it says it's about 250k (not sure how that is calculated since a lot of people have shitload of adresses and wallets in same time)
