12701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XJO] Joulecoin | SHA256 | Quick transactions | Transaction comments on: July 29, 2014, 11:16:35 AM
Any hints what the cool stuff is?

All depends on the dev, he's away for such a long time, if he doesn't show up before this Sunday I'll leave XJO for good.

12702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP WITH LATIUM!!!!!! on: July 28, 2014, 02:16:46 PM
You should back up your wallet files in the first place. If you did, you wouldn't have this problem.

If you actually lost all data on c drive then you can't do much. You lost your coins.
12703  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin QT ever look more "pretty"? on: July 28, 2014, 02:12:02 PM
Bitcoin QT looks so basic, there's nothing you can do there. Other wallets have very nice layours (like NXT).
Will the official dev team ever develop QT to look nice or a secondary wallet that looks better, with more content etc?

I'm sure they will at a certain time, but don't expect anything fancy this year.

Here is another one.

The wallet.dat file is not the only thing that is "courrupted"  Grin

Update :

Once the dev comes back, I will take-over the OP account, to run all day2day operations. John will stay in the background to take care of everything related to coding.

Some cool stuff is comming to XJO, and I'm sure it will make you guys smile.

JouleCoin is a solid coin, no pump and dump shit, no hidden agendas, and above of all, it has a REAL dev, a dev that does coding for many many years.

Stay tuned for more information, a roadmap plan will be posted in the following days.

Make sure you also follow @JouleCoin on twitter.
12707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin address generated so far vs total address ever on: July 27, 2014, 09:22:31 AM
how long will it take to run out of all possible keys?

If a billion people each continuously generate a billion keys per second, it will take 46,343,913,000,000,000,000,000 years to generate all possible keys.

It is estimated that the solar system is only 4,600,000,000 years old.

It is estimated that the sun will last less than 10,000,000,000 more years, and that it will destroy the earth billions of years before that.

I think we have more pressing issues to worry about than the number of keys that have been used.

Atleast it's good to know how many years we still can generate btc addresses  Grin

Public voting is currupt. People with several alt accounts can easily manipulate the poll.

Best is that the staff takes the winner, that would be much more fair for everyone.
12710  Other / Off-topic / Re: If a girl invites u to go swimming, what does this mean? on: July 26, 2014, 08:52:25 AM
boring staying at home?

That does mean she is willing to show her body to you! Or she just want to go swimming with you as friends  Grin

Nice one! Only, the dev is not here to see it  Sad This coin could do far better but the dev stays away for long time, and certainly not the first time.

Tnx.

I just found this coin when i bought USB block erupter Smiley I bought it juts for fun and now put it to some work on mining this Smiley .

I think this is lowest diff sha256 coin ?

It's quite low yes compared to few other coins, what speed do you mine with ?

Basically no speed , told u i just bought 1 335mh/s block erupter

Got it for 6$ so yeah its only for decoration Smiley .

Just turned it on for fun to mine whatever Smiley . Just to keep blinking , and i found this as best option coz it blinks alot Cheesy .

Cheap alternative for a disco light  Grin

6$ is nothing compared to the beginning of these usb erupters, they were here like 100€

Yeah , i think i will buy couple more of them. Cheesy

Also good thing is that when somebody see that they ask what is it so u get a chance to explain bitcoin. And get them interested.
also nice for ambient lighting,
in winter u can hear coffee with it Cheesy .

Im thinking of making a coin that will be sha256 but that won't accept anything other to mine with but this USB asics Cheesy .
There are loads of them just siting around collecting dust Cheesy

Yeah! Many people haven't had a chance to earn back their initial investment with these usb erupters.

You could better invest some of your money in GH/S to cloudmine, will be a lot cheaper  Grin

sell always at the first pump, usually is the big one

That's what I did with darkcoin, bought at 0.003 and sold at 0.0055

And then it went over 0.02 LOL

12718  Other / Off-topic / Re: OnePlus One? on: July 24, 2014, 10:42:11 PM
I bought this phone 1 week ago, it's a fantastic phone. If you look on ebay, you can find it. Yes, you pay a bit extra, but it's worth it.

My first android phone, and I already love it.
