12702  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling bitcointalk.org accounts *Significant price reduction Update Feb 18 on: February 18, 2015, 05:37:45 AM
The only reason a person would spend money on a bitcointalk forum account like this is for some kind of deception-- to make it appear like they are someone they are not (someone more trustworthy and longstanding).
This is not true. The primary reason why people buy accounts is to participate in signature deals. The vast majority of my accounts never engage in any kind of business except for signature campaigns.

Additionally the accounts that I currently have for sale all have neutral trust. If someone were to trust someone with no trade history then they will eventually get scammed either way.
Thus the motive behind this entire thread is dishonesty, whether stated directly or not.
You are wrong. The motive behind this thread is to embrace a free market.

12703  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns upgrade couting on: February 18, 2015, 01:36:35 AM
Hello all ,
The  Signature Campaigns should change how they count E.g if I create a loan thread
and i'm register with Bitmixer the loan thread ge daily 130 views and 10 posts
Bitmixer should pay me for my post or should counting for views/x (foreach 100 views count 7) + posts/x (foreach 10 posts count 3)?
Do don't even have a paid signature LOL.

While the first few posts of any given thread do tend to get the most attention, there is no guarantee that you will keep your signature up beyond the time that you get paid for the post

More deleted material.

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

Mitche?? or other mod: why are you deleting my posts in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=959507.new#new

Mitche??, is this related to your new powers as staff?  If not, what's going on here?  I'm not used to having my posts deleted from non self-moderated threads and as far as I can tell, this is supposed to be a public thread.
read my above post, it was deleted for similar reasons
12705  Other / Meta / Re: how to tell why a post was deleted on: February 18, 2015, 12:57:33 AM
Posts about the moderation of the forum are off topic unless they are in meta. Threads about the moderation of the forum are misfiled unless they are in meta.

If you wanted to claim that a moderator was deleting/editing posts in an effort to scam then you could post in scam accusations, and this would be the only exception to the above rule.

The thread you created in service discussion will likely be moved to meta. The 2nd post about the moderation of the forum you posted in the overview of signature campaign threads will likely be deleted by a moderator.

To directly answer your question, you cannot know who deleted your posts as the system is directly setup to prevent that to prevent harassment of the moderators. The reason any post would get deleted would be that it broke some rule of the forum, if you want a more specific reason then that then you would need to create a thread here (in meta)

I think this answers both the specific question of this topic and answers the 'root cause' question as to why you created the topic

EvilKnievel has a negative rep for a similar thing from gmaxwell back in 2014. Not sure if he would take him seriously on this now.

Please check again.
Evil-Knievel, I wanted to follow up with you. I previously said that I thought you were lying about this exploit, however you were able to show a "real world" demonstration with redsn0w's full node (with his permission) and it appears the gamaxwell has evaluated your claim and apparently your claim checked out
12707  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Getting tired of the BS... 6.64 BTC for CASH DEPOSIT NO MARKUP, ESCROW FINE on: February 17, 2015, 08:32:45 PM
Market rate. No compromise on rate. Cash deposit = no fees.

12708  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Getting tired of the BS... 6.64 BTC for CASH DEPOSIT NO MARKUP, ESCROW FINE on: February 17, 2015, 08:16:25 PM
How flexible are you on your rate?
12709  Economy / Services / Re: bithorse.co Signature Competition ! 0.1 BTC on: February 17, 2015, 08:12:52 PM
yes I understood winner will be picked by you but how will you be choosing a winner based on what?
Based on who submits the best entry (this should be beyond obvious)
12710  Economy / Services / Re: KoS Escrow Thread - 15% fee on: February 17, 2015, 08:11:35 PM
I would highly recommend against using this persons escrow service. Attempting to do so will almost 100% guarantee that you have your money stolen from you.
12711  Economy / Services / Re: OcupyCoin Pays for Your Signature - 0.1 BTC a Month for 50 Posts! on: February 17, 2015, 08:00:59 PM
The Ann Thread leads back to the bit-x thread. Are these two sites affiliated?
12712  Economy / Lending / Re: OFFERING MICROLOANS on: February 17, 2015, 07:29:53 PM
Dont trust this person guys he took my account as collateral then did not give me the loan deeprocks is my real account he posted all that using my account dont trust him guys!!
He posted that he does not accept newbie accounts as collateral. I am not sure why you would have given your account to him when he is publicly saying he won't accept it (assuming you did in fact give your account as collateral)

He didn't give account and I didnt loan him.
Why should I want a newbie account with 1 Activity!!
Ohh man...
yea absent a screenshot or some other evidence then I would seriously doubt his claims.

12714  Other / Meta / Re: Why Bitcointalk don't use Google Adsense ? on: February 17, 2015, 06:42:29 PM
personally i like the site how it is now. on other sites i've gone to sometimes ads open popups to malicious sites. but i really hate when i'm on mobile, and then ads redirect me to the app store, even when i don't click on anything. plus the ads on this forum seem more relevant to the topic (bitcoin) and i'm thinking that there are fewer scam ads here, compared to google adsense.
there could still be malicious sites advertised here I think as theymos doesnt check every single one only if they raise a few red flags but he wont advertise them if he knows they are scams unlike adsense.

He don't need to check since he wrote that little note under the Advertisement saying that Bitcointalk is not responsable for them :
"Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here."

~ Madness
Theymos uses editorial discretion when publishing advertisements sometimes. Additionally using any third party as pushing service would effectively take away the ability of the community to discuss if any particular advertisement should be taken down.
12715  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcointalk accounts from 2012 - 20 accounts for sale, 0 posts - 1btc for all. on: February 17, 2015, 05:53:56 PM
I would think you would get more from the accounts if you were to actually make posts from the accounts and rank them up a little bit.
12716  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] BCT ACC on: February 17, 2015, 05:50:35 PM
You get a green trust feedback thingy after 3 people on the Default Trustlist rate you positively.
You actually get it after ((number of positive trusts from default trust members)/10)(number of months after first positive trust report.

So if you have 1 positive trust report you get green trust after 10 months, 2 positive trusts then after 6 months, after 10 positive trusts then after one month.

Only one positive trust report from each person each month is counted so if one person gives 5 positive trusts all in the same month then only one would count.
12717  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Ratings in the Newbie Section on: February 17, 2015, 07:09:51 AM
There is no real need to have the trust ratings displayed in the bitcoin discussion and similar sections because no commerce takes place there. Since you do not conduct business there there is no reason to need to know that someone is a scammer and pointing out that fact will only lead to distractions to conversations.
12718  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Full Member Account on: February 17, 2015, 07:03:03 AM
how much is a hero member cost ?
Hero accounts tend to go for in excess of 1 BTC or more depending on a number of factors, however the market is somewhat depressed now so you may be able to snag one for less
can u post a small chart that in what price we can sell the accounts
It is a free market so you can sell your accounts at any price you wish. To get somewhat of an idea as to the value of accounts currently you can check out my selling thread which can be found by clicking  on my signature.

12720  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: February 17, 2015, 06:29:31 AM
From the looks of it bit mixer is again closed for new participants, although it is possible this may change in the near future as they ban people with negative trust, spamming, ect

What makes you say this? I don't see an update from Bitmixer.
Try going to bitmixer.io/signature.html and entering 358020 and the UID (my UID). You will get an error message of "Error! There are no free slots for new participants. Please try again later."

Additionally it was reported on their thread shortly before I posted the above message.
