Hello after a few of tests, I think its a compatibility problem between Cgminer and a other Software (RaspControl for the Cgminer) to Log the Cgminer! But the crashes are only by the Antminers and very often with the new 4.3.4 with 4.2.0 it's better. regards |

ich habe mich einmal durch deinen Blog gewühlt und gesehen (BfgMiner Blog), dass es Probleme mit RaspControl und Cgminer gibt!
Hast du da eventuell schon eine Lösung gefunden? Der Neustart des Pis ist für meine Zwecke nicht gerade Optimal!?
Das witzige ist das NUR die Antminers Instabil sind, die BixFurys laufen ohne Probleme und ohne Absturz...

Mit 2 Watt/GH sind die s1 alles andere als effizient und Netzteile sind auch nicht dabei! Die knapp 3KW muss man erstmal stemmen.
Ich habe dies der Auktion hinzugefügt. Wenn du jetzt noch hinzufügst das man sehr wohl mindestens 2.8 KW an Netzteilleistung hinzukaufen muss und die Stromkosten in die Kalkulation mit einbeziehst... Könnte es passen. Wobei wenn man 7 von den dingern in einem Raum betreibt, der die 2.8KW an abWärme verkraften muss sind die auch nicht mehr so leise Ist schon richtig, aber er will die Teile ja auch noch verkaufen und ein wenig sollte man sich als Käufer auch erkunden... mfg |

Hello and thanks for your answer. I think the problem is the Antminer (Icarus) driver, by me the Raspberry start a reboot when Cgminer hangs (Watchdog). With the 8 x Bifurys (./configure --enable-bitfury) i have no problem the miners run without a reboot! But whn i test my 8 x Antminers U2+ (./configure --enable-icarus) the Cgminer reboot my Raspberry about one time in a hour!? With the command (./configure --enable-bitfury --enable-icarus) its the same? Also the follow command i have set: Raspberry Pi is locking up when running CGMiner
If your RPi is freezing randomly after some time (could be minutes, could be hours or days) with error like Oops: PREEMPT ARM, CPU0 Not tainted printed out over HDMI, and with locked up ethernet and USB interfaces, you have to add following option to the /boot/cmdline.txt file on SD card:

@ckolivas My Raspberry with Cgminer 4.3.4 is very unstable, it's possible that the Cgminer have a problem with BiFuryTwin and Antminers at the same time? When i used only "./configure --enable-bitfury" the Raspberry would't crash, but when i used "./configure --enable-bitfury --enable-icarus" at the same time my Raspberry crash and restart! So hab den Dienst einmal gestoppt, sollte "apache" der Fehler gewesen sein sollte er nicht mehr auftreten... sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 stop mfg Edit: So habe jetzt ein wenig getestet und RaspControl hat nichts mit den Instabilitäten zu tun. Da RaspControl und meine PV Logger ohne Cgminer einwandfrei funktionieren, werde jetzt den Cgminer einmal ohne die Ameisen laufen lassen ob nur die das Übel sind!? mfg Edit2: Nur mit den 8 Stück BiFurys sieht es ganz gut aus, die laufen bisher 1h ohne Restart |

Hallo,
danke jetzt funktioniert zur Zeit alles so wie es soll!
Folgendes ist mir noch aufgefallen:
- Die CPU Anzeige übernimmt nicht den Richtigen Takt "running at"
- Die Tabelle Hashrate wird bei mir noch nicht richtig Angezeigt
- Zu den Bitfurys: Wenn ich dir helfen kann zu irgendwas Bitte Bescheid geben
- Schreibrechte "0666" habe ich vergeben, aber noch nicht getestet!
- Das mit dem Pool Wechsel ist mir noch nicht so ganz geläufig? Kann man den auch per Button wechseln, oder muss man die Config ändern?
Wegen der Weboberfläche zum steuern des Miners, denke ich mir wäre sicher gefragt...

OK danke, das heißt die Dateien im "apache2" Ordner auf dem Pi die Port wie du Beschrieben hast umstellen. Dann sollte es so laufen: - SunWatch auf Port 80 "Standard" - Raspcontrol auf Port 666 Hoffe ich habe das richtig verstanden? Zur Zeit läuft es bei mir auf Port 80 und mir sind beim Überflug folgende Dinge aufgefallen: - Erstens tolles Feature - Wenn die Shares kleiner als die HW Errors bei den Minern sind wechselt der Balken wieder auf Grün sollte eigentlich Rot sein? - Ist zwar nur ein Wunsch aber durch die Api Auslesung vom Cgminer könnte man bei den BXM Miner (BiFury Sticks) auch die einzelnen Cores auslesen. - Beim ändern der Config habe ich noch keine Schreibrechte? Fehlende Schreibrechte beim Speichern der Config-Datei.
Setze 0666 auf ../../home/pi/cgminer.conf mfg Edit: Es funktioniert jetzt mit den zwei Ports, aber was haben die % Balken bei den Minern genau auf sich? |
