I predict the current value of all pertinent assets will be lower after January 15; That being said, I do not predict a sudden fall to zero.
Buy the rumors, but sell the news. Which are which? (In your statements)
I believe the current price swing was to build liquidity.
Very possible. If we get another big drop then $1,000 is a very real possibility. Then a big pump to over $40,000 and a sudden collapse after that. Good time to play the futures market.

Get out of crypto before January 15, 2019. Look to re-enter near March to May.
For real? I was pretty certain we would test $2500 and maybe collapse down to $1000 but given the recent price stability over $4,000 and now talk of “Russians” buying made me think we bottomed out and a big run is on the way. So much crazy manipulation in Bitcoin/Crypto by Wall Street, err, Russia, that making accurate short term predictions have become really difficult. One this is for sure, Wall Street, err, Russia, is gonna swing Bitcoin to crazy extremes and make insane amounts of money off leveraging futures.

Converted most of my BTC into BSV starting with 5 January.
Remember January 2018 when NYSE launched first BTC Futures - the price plummeted from 17000$.
Yeah, and I remember saying they were gonna leverage futures to short it and kill the price. They’ve made their money off a year of squeezing everyone out and have been accumulating for this next massive upswing. I agree with converting BTC into a few other coins, even if BTC hits $40k, that’s only a 10x increase. There are quite a few low risk coins out there that will easily do 100x or more during the next bull run.

NYSE Bitcoin Futures about to go live. Then those pesky Russians will be buying billions worth of Bitcoin?
A coincidence I’m sure. 😂 ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) — Bitcoin Futures Battle Heats Up With New Player, Will it Drive Crypto Market Recovery? MARTIN YOUNG | JANUARY 7, 2019 | 10:00 AM A lot of hopes have been pinned on institutional heavyweights entering the crypto space in 2019. A new exchange has entered the fray and it aims to take on the giants with physically delivered Bitcoin futures. New Exchange Enters The Fray The highly anticipated New York Stock Exchange owner’s contracts are about to be launched and Chicago’s Eris Exchange LLC will not be far behind.

Mainstream tools telegraphing:
Expect a massive Bitcoin run to $40,000+ soon, then a total collapse. It’s gonna be the Russians. Or not. 😂 ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
Altcoins, will have the biggest run ever then a curtain call for most of them.

But, but, but....you said ETC was a safe investment... ...I think ETC is a good replacement - not to mention it’s backed by Barry Silbert [it’s also listed on Coinbase]. Bank on the name.
Yeah, I’m quite shocked about this. Keep in mind this is Coinbase, they have a history of playing dirty games to grab more coins. I would still bebuying ETC here around $5.

The mass network attacks are only just beginning. Enjoy the show, I know I will. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) January 7, 2019 - Coinbase: Ethereum Classic Chain Attacked, $450k+ In Crypto Double Spent WARNING: MegaCoin was actually a pretty legit old coin. Exchanges are gonna eliminate coins en masse soon. Only secured coins will remain and there won’t be many so sell coins with poor network security and diversify into coins with the best security. 1,000x+ returns will be made on those coins next year.

Dear Bitcoreans! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It's boring and not productive and not informative - just to complain. Let's discuss in more detail what mistakes were made and how it was necessary to act so that the BTX price did not fall so much. We needed a much slower airdrop? Something like 1% per week or even slower. Imagine that the airdrop would still continue until today... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) the nature of the distribution screwed it. full supply, unlike having to manually claim it like conventional forks which ensures most don't bother, followed by giving out large amounts free. that's not a recipe for a valued project. No option for btx on cheapair. Maybe BTCPay isn’t integrated yet.

the size of BTCPay is close to nothing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) btcpay is the future. some day it's going to outweigh any commercial offering. cheapair, one of the longest standing bitcoin travel places, chose them over bitpay. agreed about the endless posting of the same photo. i don't know what the guy is trying to achieve. all he achieved from me is an ignore. suddenly this thread looked alot easier on the eye. Cheapair? Good to know. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Speaking of cheap, looks like btx has started its downward death spiral again. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

I hoped that Archimedes' update would be ready on July 2018, then August, maybe September, no.. November, December? January the 1st? I don't really believe and care anymore. Find yourself another hobby. This coin is going nowhere. The ones wanting to do something have no resources. The one with resources have no desire to do anything. Crypto has more crooks than fiat, even more dangerous than fiat, more speculative than fiat. I am tired of this world. It brought me mainly thieves, misery and false hope. Take care. Enjoy real life.
I’m glad and sad at the same time to see I’m not the only one feeling like this. I couldn’t have said it any better. It’s upsetting and tragic cause IXcoin really could have been the best in crypto. Literally. But instead of helping - those who could have done something just sat idly and watched guys like DeadSea33 and I bleed out. Maybe that was their intention. Or maybe some simply only care about the allure of easy money and IXcoin was always the real deal, a long term play with no games - just the highest aim to build the best cryptocurrency without the pitfalls and negativity of coins like Bitcoin. Sorry for all those who stuck with us and believed in this project all these years. I promised I’d go down with ixc if things wouldn’t work out as I expected and it looks like that’s exactly what’s happening. I hope everyone took my advice and diversified. God bless and best wishes to everyone for 2019.

Great to see the Bitcore BTX integration for BTCPay. It will encourage merchants to accept BTX as a payment option Hoping to see more developments for BTX in this new year 2019 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Anybody know the size/reach of BTCPay? Finding little info on them. TIA
