1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 01, 2021, 10:37:15 PM
Well frauds is always associated with online transactions, as you dont have to meet the receiver in person one can easily be mislead, but again with covid19 comes social distance so online gambling is now the option available.  One just need to be careful before depositing funds to any platform we are not familiar with.
Everything is possible in online world, hackers and scammers are everywhere but if you are dealing with the good casinos and you thing they are making some fraud transactions just to make money from you, then better to leave that online casino right away and find a better place where you can find the peace of playing.

There’s a lot of money from gambling, and they are struggling as well during this pandemic but I don’t think they’ll do such illegal transactions just to survive because they are being regulated, so keep your faith with the good casinos and just continue to enjoy the game.
1282  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing NFTs for forum members on: April 01, 2021, 04:02:04 AM
I do have 900 BTC left to spend for NFT however due to my financial status I’m into right now I’ve decided to withdraw this money. Is there any safe way to withdraw this money? I’m willing to share 50/50 of my money if you help me.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Cotto vs Marquez - Exhibition match on: March 31, 2021, 11:42:56 PM
I've added a poll now. You may cast your votes to see who are going to be the favourite amongst our boxing fans here in this community. I reckon that Cotto may get the most votes base on the comments above.
It looks like Marquez is winning the poll and this is indeed a surprise to me because he’s a retired boxer and now, having an exhibition match this coming June. They are trying to get back on the boxing ring to get some money for sure, though of course its good to see them back but I don’t know the meaning of retirement anymore with this one.  Cheesy I will also go for Cotto on this one.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your Two Outstanding Picks till the end of this Year??? on: March 31, 2021, 10:42:36 PM
If its about the old project, then I can still choose BTC and ETH, since I’m holding much of my funds with them and I believe, we are still bound for more heights this year so this is my top 2 picks under the category of old project.

We also have to admit that there’s a lot of new good project well at least a year old that has a big potential to rise as well this year and my top 2 picks is DIA and CAKE because i see the potential between this two and I’m not being biased here since I’m also holding some of it.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The realities of modern casinos on: March 31, 2021, 12:57:16 PM
This is not a modern way because since then, Casinos are making money out of the pocket of the gambler so this is an old age tradition of making money of the casinos.

We cannot stop gamblers from spending their money, you do have your own 15 years of experience and why you took that long before realizing that the house will always win?

We can only share are bad and good experiences about gambling, but we cannot dictate those newbies on what they can do with their money, investing or not its their choice.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: March 31, 2021, 12:48:57 AM
As per my view , Still bnb more potential.  now go around 270-300$ per coin. Today announced a new IEO.  I think In the end of April 600$ per coin is more viable.

- BSC chain is more popular
- BSC pad is more popular
-IDO is more popular

So what you all think about this?
Its not the most popular but recently, there's a strong demand for BSC network and that makes this project more valuable.
Looking at the price of BNB right now is around $300 and that's not undervalued since last year is just around $30 so technically, it grows a lot and maybe we might not be able to see its new peak on this quarter. We are seeing more projects coming into BSC network, this a great option today and the future is bright with BNB, keep holding.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: Food Prices Are Soaring Faster Than Inflation and Incomes on: March 30, 2021, 11:37:34 PM
A lot of people are not sitting back and waiting for this to happen. You see a lot of urban gardens on Roof tops these days and people cultivating food on subsistence farms in their back gardens. (Chickens for eggs and some tomatoes and greens)   Wink

So whatever you produce for yourself, you do not have to buy in the shops. We know governments are not adding the food to the Inflation basket, that are rising the most... because it makes them look bad ..if the inflation is too high. (Most government employees salary increases and workers salary increases are based on the inflation too...so they manipulate it..to keep it low)  Angry
Because of limited supply and a huge demand, they are forced to the back-up plan which is to plant their own crops and harvest it as needed. We know how the population increases over time and with the current pandemic situation, people tend to consume more. Inflation grows as well along with those crops, we are living on a expensive time where money is very important nowadays, good thing we have Cryptomarket to earn some extra money to spend for our needs.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a business on: March 30, 2021, 02:35:03 PM
Its called business to those who are a risk taker and goes to Casinos for a living, they probably have a lot of money to spend for, this a very risky business if you're just a gambler and not the real owner of those Casinos.

Ordinary people should not treat gambling as a business or as a source of income because the probability to make money in gambling is very low, and it can't guarantee any profit at all. For me, gambling is just for entertainment and I'd rather consider Trading as my business than to my gambling activities.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DREP coin. What the F*** this coin? Up to > 5000% today on: March 30, 2021, 02:10:30 PM
Looking on its Historical Data and yeah, its crazy to see such price pump today and something is going on for sure.
I just see that DREP has done Redomination and maybe this explain why the price changes that fast or maybe there's something more good news on-going with this project, there's up-coming updates in April with DREP, will look for more information about this one.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 29, 2021, 10:19:11 PM
Quote
That does mean that overall pandemic did make the gambling restrictions more loose even for the countries where it's quite a havoc. Gamblers are able to make the bets more openly and at the same time both Government and the gambling companies are benefiting from the pandemic.

I do think this presents a strong case of how it should also continue the same in the future. People can have much more options and at the same time regulations are already there.
What is exactly is the advantage here? Sure it gives more opportunities to the players, but the overall negative effects of gambling are enormous. It leads to more crime and it destroys families. What exactly is the use of such regulations?
We’re talking about how the gambling companies earns money while there’s a pandemic, and this is why the house will always win this can affect the economy of course.

With regards to those gamblers, maybe some are just looking for entertainment online and maybe some are really into gambling despite of all his loses. Regulations is not to help gamblers seriously, regulations are for those casinos to comply and pay the necessary taxes.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: estimate gas fees erc20 token purchase on: March 29, 2021, 02:03:55 PM
Do buy somewhere else, if the ERC20 you're looking for is already on the exchange better to buy there directly beside you can buy ERC20 token on MEW Wallet or if you're talking about SWAP then just try to input any token and the gas fees will appear on your monitor.

I 've recently transfer tokens from my ERC20 wallet and it cost me $20 for a hundred dollar worth of token, the fees will always varies depends on the traffic in the market better to timing the market as well before you transfer.
1292  Economy / Reputation / Re: Let's take action against unpaid Signature/Bounty campaign together. on: March 29, 2021, 01:00:51 PM
There's a lot of unpaid bounties until now and seriously, the manager can't do anything about it once the campaign was done aside from communicating to the team especially most of the bounties are not escrowed, so the problem here is that the team is not cooperating at all and they have so many excuses just to delay the payment or they are just a scam project in the first place.

It's better to create a site where we can easily report/post those project who are not a good payer, and made a good connections to the exchanges or to any market just to tell that those projects are not paying the hunters maybe this can affect their reputations at all.  I've joined bounties many times before, and I got paid for my work but that token is useless and no value at all, you're lucky enough if you landed on a great project that pays on time with a great value.
1293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unikrn.com on: March 29, 2021, 12:10:22 PM
I don't even know how to pronounce that word, seriously.
If this is good gambling site and into cryptoworld, there should probably come into this forum and introduce their project.

Never hear about that casino, but fast check just enlighten me about many unpaid payment reports.
Better to stay away from them...

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/unikrn.com
Reviews are not good with this site, maybe this is why its not popular and its not here in the forum. I'd rather choose the trusted gambling site when it comes to Esports, too risky for this site.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to XRP on: March 28, 2021, 11:56:21 PM
It's better for you to hold Ripple than Bitcoin, I read the news that if Ripple's problem with the SEC will be resolved soon, fundamentally ripple will be back and there will be a lot of good news, technically ripple chart is still in the bottom, you should try to look at the BTC pair, the potential for Ripple to increase higher is huge.
What if XRP didn’t win the battle? We don’t know how the court will see this case though of course we don’t want to ruin the reputation of cryptocurrency again and we all want for XRP to survive, but that’s too risky to be complacent.

If I have to choose between BTC and XRP, I’d rather hold more BTC than to any altcoins because it on top and it always move the market. Go buy some Bitcoin and XRP, just do a good diversified portfolio and grab more opportunities as much as possible.
1295  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance P2P - Experience A lesson to be Learned on: March 28, 2021, 01:40:57 PM
Nagkakaproblem talaga ang GCASH lately and hinde talaga ito reliable, mas ok pa siguro if banks ang pipiliin mo pero sa system na meron tayo sa Pilipinas, hinde talaga naten maiiwasan makaranas ng ganitong delay.

Its good that you didn't appeal, at hinayaan mo nalang na maayos nyo ang problem between the seller masyadong hassle pa kase talaga if magappeal ka though I'm sure naman na protected ang ETH na binili mo since may mga Bonds naman ang mga seller.

This is a good tips para sa mga gustong gumamit nga P2P, kung maexperience nyo ang ganitong sitwasyon dapat talaga alam mo ang gagawin mo.
1296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 28, 2021, 12:09:22 PM
Welcome to the forum and its a pleasure to be part of your signature campaign, I'll do my best to market this new gambling site and I'm confident that I'm promoting a site that is worth playing for, Cheers for more wagers to come!

It seems nobody had suggested stable coins yet. It can be more convenient for users who don't want to worry about BTC or ETH going to moon/mars Grin You can choose BUSD (BEP-20) or USDT (TRC-20) for cheaper transaction fees.
True, I also hope that it will happen soon and will be added in the near future so that with low cost stable coins it will be easy for us to deposit it 😁 until now I still have not seen a gambling platform that provides BEP20 and TRC20 on its stable coins but they are more. on the Ethereum network. Well because it is one of the many with a greater transaction value.

However Rollbit I think can do it all to solve a problem that continues at an altitude.
This is also I'm looking for, a stable coin that is more cheap compare to BTC and ETH. They are still room for this site to grow and I'm sure they are already considering more options for cryptocurrency to be used on this platform, looking forward for this.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or project dies? When and how? on: March 27, 2021, 11:07:13 PM
Everything in crypto is very possible, let's say the project got hack or etc. Let's talk about Bitconnect, i think he reached top 10 in cmc so easyly with ponzi scheme, thats why we really need to picky when we want to invested on something, don't just invest because of hype or following your friend without know what project your invested in.
On a market where everything is possible, its really hard to know what project will die sooner or later. An incident like this is inevitable, so it will always depend on the team developer on how they will handle this kind of incidents.

There's no tools to identify those dying project, maybe you can just see them being in active for the past months but it doesn't mean they are dying, you still need to confirm if they still have the chance for them to go up, or they'll remain at the bottom until they gave up.
1298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Idea: Keep your own log of your favorite forecasters on: March 27, 2021, 10:40:10 PM
I had a neat idea to keep a log of forecasts for Bitcoin so that I can revisit them later.

Would be fun to see other people doing this also.

https://jonausten.blogspot.com/
Not just for the sole purpose of revisit them later but I'm doing my log for my future trading decision and since trading requires history, this can be a big help for you to know your next move in trading by just looking at your log sheet.

You have to keep yourself on track, and put everything under your control, don't just record your favorite forecasters prediction its better to create your own, focus on your own and succeed on your own. Never rely to anyone when it comes to investing, that's risky.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 10:19:21 PM
Unfortunately, working from home isn't always the best solution, people tend to have lower productivity when they are unsupervised, and there can be a lot of distractions when working from home. And videocalls aren't a perfect replacement for live meetings and face-to-face talking, which is also important in work. I already saw a few software companies delaying their products last year because of the drop in productivity caused by switching to remote work.
This has been the best solution during pandemic, but I also believe for that its not that productive compare to the normal work schedule but those companies who are doing this right now are just trying to survive, and doing everything they can to remain in-operation. There are some jobs that requires less supervision, and that can work on flexible schedule, but I think those in critical working station, they still need to put extra effort on going work as much as possible.

Flexible working schedule is fine for me as long as the company have the strong implementation, a proper planning on everything so people can work and follow all the guidelines. In my place, a work from home schedule seems to be more possible during these time of pandemic, though we are slowly getting back into a face to face meetings and work schedule.
