Brisbane Heat Women is currently having the upper hand, in the match against Perth Scorchers Women. They have made a total of 197/5 in the first innings of the Challenger match. The winner of this match will qualify for the final, to take on Adelaide Strikers. As of now, it looks as if Brisbane will take on Adelaide in the final match, to be played at the Adelaide Oval on 2nd December. So far it has been a very entertaining season, with decent TV/OTT viewership and crowd attendance. WBBL has cemented it's place as the second most popular women's franchise T20 league in the world.

Whenever I watch some liberal media or new channel what they do to keep their voters stuck to the democrat party is to fearmonger about the possibility of Trump having a second term next year. They talk for much of their programs about the surge of white supremacy, the Trump trials and the trials of his former associates. I don't think there is something wrong about talking about those things, but they rarely talk on the legislation the Democrat party is going to take in order to talke those problems you mentioned, specially the crime surge in the United States, last night I saw a report on how criminals are targeting delivery trucks nations wide and mobs are flash-robbing stores.
At this point it would be refreshing to listen to Democrats plan to deal with all of that. If they don't, Trump will increase his chances, as he is not afraid of pushing against robbery.
Minorities want jobs and good economy. Fearmongering is not going to help. One area where the Biden administration has failed is to control the crime rate. Crime rates have gone up in inner city areas and this has forced businesses to move to the suburbs which are better guarded by the police. As a result, a lot of people have lost their jobs. Only section of the society who have remained loyal to the Democrat Party are wealthy white liberals, who live in gated communities in their colossal bungalows, away from the immigrant influx and crime. |

Reportedly Al-Ettifaq is planning David De Gea's move to the Saudi league and of course they will have a great goalkeeper to start in the middle of the season. Previously there were rumors that David De Gea would not go to the Saudi league because his wife did not agree to the move and it was possible that David De Gea would be closer to joining Inter Miami in MLS. But things can still change and the player's decision will be the determining factor in this transfer. Zimbabwe is inching towards a victory against Nigeria, and this would give them 6 points from 5 matches. They have one more match remaining - against Kenya, which will be played tomorrow. But the crucial match for today is yet to start. There is a match between Kenya and Uganda, which is a must-win for both the sides. A loss today would mean that the team would fail to qualify for the 2024 world cup. If by somehow New Zealand wins this test, it will be a big achievement for them. Last time when they toured Bangladesh, they fared rather poorly against the Bangladeshi spinners. @Leviathan. 007 Brazil should be careful not to repeat the mistakes of Italy otherwise in coming year’s they’ll be absent from the World Cup and personally I never got over the news of Italy missing out hence can’t see a World Cup without Brazil ever. Furthermore the gap exists because Brazil player’s play in important leagues and if other countries want to close the gap they need to try and get their player’s to play in big leagues to gain much needed exposure.
There is only a remote chance that Brazil will miss qualification. Because from this time onwards CONMEBOL is being allotted a total of 6.5 spots in the world cup. So out of 10 teams participating in the qualifiers, 6 will get direct qualification based on their standing in points table, while the 7th ranked team need to take part in Inter-confederation play-offs. At this point, Brazil is at 6th position. And I am sure that they will improve their position once the tournament restarts by September 2024. But there is no room for complacency. All of the participating teams are very strong in CONMEBOL. |

Bangladesh couldn't add a single run to the total they made yesterday. But still 310 can be quite formidable under spin-friendly conditions. Australia beat India by 5 wickets due to Maxwell's batting rampage. With this win, Australia's series continued. Batting first against the target of 223 runs given by India, the Australian team did not make a good run in the beginning. Tried to form a partnership with Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head. But Travis Head got out for just 35 runs. After the head out, the Australian team was again under some pressure in batting. But where there is a player like Maxwell there is no such thing as pressure. Maxwell bats brilliantly. Great batting brought victory to his team. Maxwell is unbeaten on 104 off 47 balls.
Maxwell is the only reason why Australia won this match. 43 runs were needed of the last 12 balls, and the Indian bowlers as well as fielders were getting very complacent. Surya dropped Maxwell in the 18th over. Maxwell took advantage of this situation, and Matthew Wade provided him good support from the other end. Indiscipline didn't helped either. Axar Patel was very wayward during the 19th over, which conceded 22 runs. And then Prasidh Krishna had a breakdown during the final over as Maxwell smashed him all over the park. |

I think this will be the world cup of Uruguay. They always play very well, and they seem to be doing great in this qualifier.
Venezuela has an historical bad reputation, but they managed to draw with Brazil. I actually think that Brazil might end up 7th and therefore out of this world cup.
That's going to be historical as it would be their first time to not qualify.
Venezuela and Bolivia - these two teams are regarded as the weakest ones from CONMEBOL. But this time around, they have performed well. Venezuela is at 4th position in the points table, with 2 wins from 6 matches and a total of 9 points. So far they have lost only one match - against Colombia. Bolivia is at the 9th position, but right now they are ahead of Peru. BTW, Brazil will not miss the ticket to 2026 world cup even if they finish at the 7th position. 7th placed team will enter into Inter-confederation play-offs, and in this case the 7th placed team from CONMEBOL will play against one team from either AFC, CAF, CONCACAF or OFC. |

Maxwell played a major role in yesterday's match win, but his performance towards the last was such that the century was completed by Maxwell who took the team to the top of the win. Ruturaj Gaikwad also performed well for the Indian team as he scored the most runs in the third T20I match. Prasidh Krishna bowled the last over and in that over the two teams were most interested as victory depended on his delivery. But somehow Prasidh Krishna could not control the ball in the pressure moment, and Maxwell at the crease used his great experience to hit four sixes to seal the victory.
It will be wrong to blame Prasidh Krishna alone. Maxwell was on fire, and no one else wanted to bowl. The 19th over, which was bowled by Axar Patel went for 22 runs (including 4 byes, so they were not added to Axar's numbers). And Prasidh Krishna had bowled really well in the 18th over, conceding just 6 runs. And Matthew Wade was dropped by SKY in this over (albeit on a difficult chance). Australia needed 43 runs from the last 2 overs and it was Axar's over which changed the game IMO. He bowled a no-ball and then the extra ball was hit for a six. |

Ishan Kishan is also there, but he didn't played too many matches during the ODI World Cup. But you are right. Surya and Ishan are the only Indian players who were part of both the squads, while there are at least half a dozen such players in Australia. And this might have contributed to their fatigue (even before the world cup, Australia played an ODI series against India). Anyway, they came back strongly during the third T20I match. Maxwell rescued them from an almost assured defeat. Now Australia still has a chance to win this series. |

Namibia is like a juggernaut in African continent. They are far ahead of all the other associate nations (and also Zimbabwe). Left arm spinner Yalinde Nkanya was the pick of their bowlers and returned figures of 4-0-27-2. Bangladesh had a good start to the first day of the first Test series against New Zealand vs Bangladesh today. Mahmudul Hasan and Shanto formed a good partnership, watching their game at one point it seemed that Bangladesh-New Zealand could give a big target. Bangladesh is in a rush for wickets. He is playing a test game, but the way Nazmul Hossain Shanto batted, it seems that he is playing T20. If he had batted with a little patience, maybe Nazmul Hasan would have seen a peaceful century. At the same time, the score of Bangladesh would have been a little bigger. The Bangladesh team was under a lot of pressure after the tea break with the loss of a pair of 2 wickets. But New Zealand came back strongly during the third session with a total of 5 wickets. Bangladesh was going strong at 184/3, but by the end of the day they finished at 310/9. Part-timer Glenn Phillips was the pick of the bowlers, while full-time spinners (Ajaz Patel and Ish Sodhi) picked up just 3 wickets after conceding a total of 147 runs. Mitchell Santner would have been a better choice IMO.

Namibia lost the toss and went into bat, losing 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and collecting 157 runs. JJ Smit batted brilliantly, scoring 40 off 25 balls to help the team reach the target of 157 runs. Tanzania has so far scored 62 runs in 14 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Tanzania need 96 runs from 36 balls to win, very difficult for Tanzania to win the match today. Today, Namibia will win easily and qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Namibia has qualified for the T20 World Cup of 2024 from the African region, with 5 wins from 5 matches. Even if they lose their final match, they will finish as the top team from Africa. BTW, their final match is against Nigeria. Now it needs to be seen who will qualify as the second team from this tournament. Three teams have the chance to do so - Uganda, Kenya and Zimbabwe. Uganda and Kenya have 6 points each at this point, while Zimbabwe only has 4 points. It will be an uphill task for Zimbabwe. Not only they need to win both their remaining matches, but also they need to make sure that both Uganda and Kenya lose at least one of their matches. |
