1281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated Funds by Crypto.Games on: September 06, 2023, 06:53:06 PM

OP was being too ignorant to look into what basically concerns him or her. I believe definitely there must have been a notification message sent to clients  of that casino of their new Terms of Service so as to enable them update their agreement policy with them. This is the normal thing casinos and exchanges do so as to be on the safe side by alerting their clients to update but if the reverse is the case then OP should have known that it is not safe to have left such amount of asset on his account with the casino. It is generally known here that  asset(s) not under your custody is not your own and as such should have be withdrawn with immediate effect. Well, since you have a large followership  or invited referrals under registered with them, I think they would definitely look into it as loyal fan and give you a soft landing.

KYC was introduced as a feature that allowed user to claim "VIP Birthday Cash"  & "Faster Betting Speed"

Even as of today, KYC is not mandatory (only when requested).
And you're requested to complete it. Is it that hard to understand?

OP if they had requested that you do your KYC it is easy to understand and as simple as ABC do your KYC and wait for their response. If they fail to release your assets to you then it looks fishy on their side but for the now you are requested to do the needful so as to have access to your funds. You should know that in the first place that at any point in time casino or exchanges would definitely request for your details so as to process your funds or whatever the case maybe. If you are conversant with most casinos term and conditions when it comes to clients or customers KYC and withdrawal, they state it clear that they have the sole right to demand for KYC if the need arises so in that case you should have known that irrespective of the fact that you are an old member with them. It is very simple for you to understand mate.
1282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loot.bet - booted after just 3 small bets :) on: September 06, 2023, 06:32:32 PM
I understand your frustration and pain OP and it is quite worrisome to be having such experience with a casino you just feel like giving a try for the first time and having such an experience with them. At first I think this has to do with the repuration of such casino and as such this topic should be moved to the reputation board here and furthermore, you would need to be patient with them so as to finish their processing as they claim to be processing it.

I had to check for myself to see if the presence of this casino is recognized here and to my greatest surprise, they are fully represented here but are currently inactive which is not a good sign for a casino here. Here is the link to the casino announcement thread for you to see LOOT.BET and here you have the profile of their representative.  From the looks, their representative have not been active as well.

These are the reasons why it is advisable to do your own research before engaging with casinos. I think you should have noted this if you had used the trustpillot review function to see for yourself what others are saying abut them.
1283  Economy / Gambling / Re: Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated Funds by Crypto.Games on: September 06, 2023, 05:29:10 PM

1. When i joined 6 years ago, there was no KYC.

You are a player of that casino for more than 6 years and you didn’t care or bother to read the ToS?

2. When KYC was implemented and since, I have not made any deposits or withdrawals to specifically avoid any regulatory restrictions due to either of these actions.

Once the license and ToS updated. All the existing account is already cover by the new teems that’s why you shouldn’t leave your funds inside the casino if you are not comfortable doing KYC. It took you 6 years just to learn this lesson while you have a lot of time in the past to withdraw your funds without KYC.

OP was being too ignorant to look into what basically concerns him or her. I believe definitely there must have been a notification message sent to clients  of that casino of their new Terms of Service so as to enable them update their agreement policy with them. 1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 06, 2023, 04:55:55 PM
I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve. This was just a little tip I gave as a possible solution. I had to put it up here for further discussions so that the bigger community can see it as  well.

Well, I've read a lot about sports betting and it's actually the only type of betting I do often, so I can speak more about it with property.
I think that advertisements certainly contribute a lot to addiction, especially for new players to enter and many times they are not even old enough to bet.
Unfortunately, just blocking advertisements on websites will not have a positive effect, as they are on television, on billboards and in many public places... it's impossible not to see them.

I still believe that addiction must be fought in the psychology of each person.
You have to see betting as something fun, study the statistics of the game, watch the sports news and place your bet without fear of losing money, make a healthy and recreational meal, without the obligation to win money or recover what you have already lost.

In the "worst case", sports betting should be seen as a long-term investment, not a way to make money immediately and compulsively.

OP I believe many people got addicted to gambling as a result of the fact that they are chasing their losses. It is true that when one loses, the next thing they originally do is to try their possible best to recover all that they have lost and in so doing, they keep losing more and more compounding more recovery for themselves while playing and getting addicted to gambling.

In my own opinion sports betting is not an investment, but a game played for fun at leisure that is why it is advised that one gambles responsibly and with funds affordable to lose.

Lastly, advertisement is something every organisation does so therefore if gambling organisation does that, that is not a big deal as it is expected that they are doing that to promote their product  but it is your personal choice to allow the add pop up on your device or not. So it is left for you to decide whether to see or not to see it by fixing it up from your phone internet settings so as either to allow the add pop up or not.
1285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake Binance Phishing email on: September 05, 2023, 10:54:41 PM
This I think is a possible hack or otherwise. I do not doubt your experience with respect to the topic matter because I too had such experience from suspected scammers who sent me trust wallet pending verification message. They think I am a novice that would rush to Click the link and give them access to my details through their phishing link. It is obvious there is information or data breach somewhere. It is either data been traded or a hack must have occurred and it is kept away from the public notice so as to avoid escalations. But I am not worried because n of matter how the occurrence is hidden, it would definitely finds it's way to the people.
1286  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 05, 2023, 09:40:32 PM
It is unfortunate you had this experience. For over 6 years as you have said you have been with the casino, do you not visit their terms and conditions of services? do they not send their customers mail of upgrade in their services?  so as to keep them abreast of unfolding development on their  site? possibly, you must not have been following up with activities or you just feel less concerned about the whole thing. Knowing fully well that you have such an amount of asset there what you should have done is to make sure your account is up to date because that asset is not worth that risk of losing them as casinos are also looking for funds to do away with. It is unfortunate his has happened unless a reputable member could help you out in reaching out to the casino to give the benefit of doubt in proving your real identity so as to access you assets.

How come you have been here for this long time and you have no been active in contribution in any ways but just a spectator observing activities and events.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 05, 2023, 08:52:30 PM
Both investment can not be overlooked as they are of huge profit when embarked upon. They both need funds to stat with and this should be the major focus for which i expected good responses from. Going into real estate business, one would need a huge capital investment and lots of procedures involved which would cost time, stress, government approval etc to start up with considering the fact that if  the funds are borrowed, you would definitely need to repay till you clear your debt but bitcoin is not like that. Bitcoin does not require you getting involved with huge capitals. You can buy and hold based on your investment capacity. No stress, no delay, you do not need anybody's approval to invest in bitcoin. You invests as it pleases you and come to talk of it, it is a decentralized system where you have view or custody over your assets.

Lastly, bitcoin is mobile while real estate is not mobile which means that one can move about with their bitcoin asset all round the world without anybody's notice which paves way for the "border less transaction"but you cannot  do that with real estate. I think this is the real big difference between the both investment.
1288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tell me one legit site with esports and sports markets on: September 05, 2023, 08:08:06 PM
There are lot's of casinos here that offer such features. It's just left for you to decide which one of them you can flow with according to their terms and conditions as usual that every one of them have. You too should know that and based on your location too if being restricted.
For you perusal you can check these casinos and further do your research.

Stake.com
Roobet.com
Sportsbet.io
Duelbits.com
Blackjack.fun
Rollbit.com
There are many of them too numerous to mention you can still find them for yourself here when researching for more of them.
We keep making more findings about the system, there's more to discovered if we keep dugging in. There's more than we could possibly imagine; all that remains left to accomplish is keep up with the excellent work and constantly look for the very best among the best possibilities. The casinos stated above are most likely balanced and saturated in the answers to the OP question. However, he should conduct his own research on the recommended gambling sites because we all have different viewpoints and our ideas differ considerably.

So far my stay here on this platform, these named mentioned are likely the feat for OP requirements. So I had to put them up for op to do his or her own research before making a choice.  I think they are reliable and up to standard in meeting up with players tastes and demand. Not only that, they are always at the top front of good innovative deas in improving their services. They have been around for some reasonable time doing alright.

OP I must commend you for a good presentation although it would have been much better if actually all your introduction were in one page well arranged and coordinated.  Your portfolio is quite interesting as I see you already have the experience with lots of jobs executed. You can still edit your introduction and put all together.  It would be nice you mention your means of payment for services rendered so that the community would see for themselves as anybody approaching you would already know what is obtainable in terms of payment of services rendered.

When it comes to communication, would it not be better you use this platform to conclude everything about the deal for transparency and accountability. These days telegram is not too safe and conducive for  such  discussion as people are being sceptical about any business conversation on telegram because of the fear of erasures of business chats or factual documentation against them which sometimes causes setbacks. But however continuing the conversation here will be fine and possibly both parties involved would be okay with it.

Firstly thanks for comment.

Bitcointalk won't let me add images to the topic. So I edited the topic and there is only text.  I guess I should be more active on the forum.

And I guess you are right telegram is not secure about it. But before, I communicated with my 30+ customers via telegram. I am not malicious and I can send previous telegram chats by PM to those who want.

As a result, I provide website design, website development and graphic design services. I will update the thread soon.

OP your rank here would not allow you to upload pictures or images. So the only thing you can do to make sure you are able to upload pictures is to upgrade your account to copper membership. So doing that, you can be able to upload pictures here to do your advertisement freely. However here's the link to guide you in getting a Copper membership registration  here

You being active is another area of focus because members who wants to patronise your services would definitely look into your profile to see how active you are and if it happens that you are not active, they become sceptical about you and doubts would arise.

Lastly, I think I should remind you of this. Payment method is another factor to put into consideration. Members here would prefer an escrow to making sure their funds are safe. They do that so as to call for transparency and accountability. No party has anything to lose  when in a safe hands such as an escrow here. The escrow must be a reputable member who is well known and not a newbie.

I didn't know I had to get a Copper membership. I will be purchasing this soon.

And thanks for your valuable advices.

I am surprised you are saying that you had no idea as a newbie that one would need to get a copper membership registration so as to enable to them upload pictures. I was thinking initially you ignored that aspect of it though but it is nice you know about that now. This is the reason why it is emphasized that one need take or make out time to read and know more about this platform so as not to be taken unawares at any point in time. I believe if you have had knowledge about the copper membership registration, you would have done that immediately without any one telling you to do it.

I like the fact that you hid to advise. It is good of you to follow instructions. Anyways, I wish you good luck as you add value in rendering services here onboard this platform.
1290  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 05, 2023, 07:16:58 PM
This scam is obvious to anyone who has experience but we can say trust wallet can record your private keys and steal them at any time they want. It is true that they have not done that yet, but anything is possible. I'm surprised how they got your email address and made sure that you downloaded the trust wallet. In general, your wallet should be in separate devices from the Internet and from anything related to CEXs.
I don't know if the problem was from trust wallet because trust wallet has nothing to do with email but I feel the mail might be from one of this scamners out their, I still wonder what does trust wallet has to do with email.  People just need to be careful with their wallet because the level at which scam is going is beyond the imagination of the human reasoning . Scamners are already aware that lots of users are making use of trust wallet ,  it could be a random mail that was sent to lot of users using the trust wallet for hodling Bitcoin and other crypto.
There is every tendency that out of 10 users you encounter as a Crypto enthusiast virtual all of them or minimum of 8 of them are using trust wallet. So therefore there is every possibility that they the scammers can send such mails out to possible crypto related mails to see if they could try their luck in gaining access into people's account. This could also happen whenever there is a hack on third parties holding custody of exchanges details and others as well. So I am not surprised seeing such mail in my box and it was sent to the right place where it belongs as to indicate it is a scam.

All I could say is that every one should be careful the links they click on their mail because it can be very porous and dangerous as well as any mistake made would cost them their assets and other vital information that are sensitive to protect.

1293  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 05, 2023, 07:46:26 AM
If any wallet ask you for KYC then it means that they are not serious for business or they are scammers in disguise.
They are scammer and they received your email from data hack.
It's same for Ledger too. I always receive emails where it ask me to verify Ledger live and reinstall it. They give a button / a link to visit and to download it from there. Once you download and install or click the link, you are in danger. Somehow they will get some kind of access from your system to harm you.

Obviously they are scammers because I see no reasons why trust wallet would send such a message and come to talk of it, trust wallet does not require one to install their app by providing details such as email for validation but rather you install and create your wallet address or possibly import an already existing wallet. So I do not think trust wallet could send such a message.  Right from the time I first saw the mail I knew it was a Scam attempt and as you have said, it might not be far from the truth as I have been receiving unsolicited messages in various languages all in my junk box including this one I uploaded here for view. It is possible that there is a data hack somewhere which might have revealed information or details of clients registered with such organization.

It is so dissappointing to see such a thing happening and the organizations seems not to care about it by informing their clients of the hack while advising them to be on a high alert if they keep receiving unsolicited messages from scammers or elsewhere. Maybe they are afraid of legal actions for the reasons being that data got hacked as a result of their carelessness.
1294  Economy / Services / Re: I'm looking for new challenges on: September 05, 2023, 01:10:27 AM
OP, you got a good article here but to make it unique, you must or should know that this platform mostly prefer evidence and facts backing up your claims than all these write ups. Just as the other poster had said, if you feel you have achieved enough and would find it pleasant working here with projects In need of your services, I think it would be in your own interests to make available your details for easy assessments by your prospective clients because not everyone will contact you when they have no seen anything convincing to their eyes and mind. Something should speak for your experience and how far you have gone as claimed by you.

Another thing I would like to call your attention to is the regular act of contacting through telegram. Most often, scammers use that pattern because telegram is a platform that can take lots of activities both the good and the bad and mostly records of nefarious act had been recorded on telegram platform so therefore do you not think it would be odd you telling your prospective clients to visit or chat you up via telegram?  As a matter of fact making your conversation here would call for transparency and credibility irrespective of how long you have stayed here. So I would advise you continue your conversations here.

Your work profile should speak for you here why not just make it available here for all to see and confirm your true stand.
1295  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 04, 2023, 10:58:44 PM
There's something weird happened with me yesterday. I still can't exactly find out what happened with me and how that happened.
I was checking my Trust Wallet after a long time and checking the NFT section as I had an NFT from Binance and some other. Suddenly I found that there were some spammy NFT too. They were like $5000 USDC voucher etc. I checked all of them. Just checked. Nothing else I did.
After that, I sent some ETH from my wallet to my exchange. I noticed a notification on BNB balance too. After checking out, I found a pending tx there. Don't know why but the transaction wasn't confirmed ever either. I had a quick search of the address and it turned out that I know the owner of the address.
Later, after few hours, I decided to move all the fund I had there. When I moved, I found another notification on the BNB balance. One more pending tx was there. Same thing happened, the tx wasn't confirmed. Again I did a google with the address and found he is a bounty hunter.

Can anyone explain what exactly happened with me? I haven't been scammed but it seems there was a scam attempt. Can someone explain this?

A member created a thread about something similar to what you have said and from the looks, it seems what you have said is not different from what was discussed and uploaded on that thread which link I provided below.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465025.msg62767612#msg62767612
From your explanations I think there was an attempt on you if not how can there be a triggered transaction waiting for your approval when in the right sense from your explanations you did not do any of such. Possibly, some one must have been monitoring your wallet address or possibly the attack sent in form of nft has a dust effect on wallets that triggers transactions waiting for the wallet owner to approve of it.

I think you moving your assets out from that wallet was the best  smart option taken so as to protect your funds from being stolen. If you read that thread, you will find out that the nft is definitely a dust attack on wallets so it will be in a good idea one who received such do the needful gbby transferring away their assets from the corrupted wallet before the unexplainable happens.
1296  Other / Meta / Re: A good statistics to show Nigeria need more merits source to approved at least 2 on: September 04, 2023, 10:36:05 PM
OP it is obviously clear that all you have noted are very much correct. I had to join you in doing a statistic review as well on the local board meriting and to be frank with you, Nigeria board lacks merit source. Little wonder upon the opening of local board meriting by hugeblack, the turn up were majorly Nigerians whom are lacking on merit in one way or the other. This has impede the fast development and growth of the board but Nigerians are much enthusiastic about this platform and hence didn't allow that to bother them much and it has been a success drive so far that a local board was achieved.
Now to remedy the situation, the Nigeria board would definitely need merit sources as her growth is fast rising to the point that Nigerians are lacking behind in merit as  there are lots of quality posters out there who are lacking in merits here.

Based on my findings as well, we have a merit source already in the person of   CryptopreneurBrainboss   but his merit allocation is not enough to serve the board hence we appeal to Theymos to increase his merit quota so as to aid him in doing his work as a merit source without any challenges. However, some Nigerians whom are much recognised and have contributed immensely to the development and growth of the local board have indicated interest by applying to becoming a merit source which is a good move and also a welcome development. If they are considered, I believe it would aid in the meriting of more quality local posts while mending the lapses of looking outside for merit which has made so many Nigerians here not to look into the local board.

Nevertheless, I am in full support of the merit application of igebotz and Charles-Tim of the Nigerian board origin and I pray their application is given the urgent attention it deserves.
1297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Claim.usdcircle.io legit or scam? on: September 04, 2023, 05:34:09 PM
Obviously, this is fishy and looks more of a scam and trap for those who do not know their left or right in the Crypto industry. Anyone who appears desperate for this is likely going to fall prey of the attack and this I know for sure wouldn't go down well with them.

OP it would please you to know that I received the airdrop as well but I never remembered anytime I filled any form in the name of winning an airdrop. It's just that these scammers are just desperate to scam people without minding the repercussions attached to their act.

I was wondering how a project could give out $5k which is good enough for them to do publicity with. Come to talk of it, that amount for an airdrop now is too outrageous  and can  not be feasible. I believe this nft given is a dust attack by scammers to invade wallets who try swapping the nft for a token as means of exchange.

What I would advise holders of such nft to do is to move all their assets out of that wallet to another so as not to be tempted by the flashy price of the nft because constant attention of it will definitely lead to ok me trying to see how it works and in the course of trial, the unfortunate might likely occur which would cause a lo of damages.  One needs be careful of the dust nft.
1298  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: September 04, 2023, 11:21:40 AM
OP I must say your casino came  prepared to rendering good and quality services here. However, I will still join in welcoming you to this great platform as your presence is highly welcomed. Merely looking at your announcement thread here I noticed your profile is already upgraded to a copper member which would enable you upload   your graphics which you already did and it looks unique and with a touch of excellence. This attribute shows how good a manager or representative you are because you followed the rules of the platform in registering for a copper member as a casino.

I had to check your website and my first observation was the cookies which i am  really not comfortable with. From the looks, one must accept it before it goes of from home screen  page which is not quite alright. It would be nice the cookies is made an option to reject or accept so as to enable a full home page accessibility.

I barely see your minimum withdrawal and deposit. I will suggest it is made accessible for prospective members to see and know what is obtainable when registering. However you have a good casino with lots of features but you would have other big names to contend with here. I would advise you make provision for your publicity campaign to create much awareness of your casino here as it is known that campaign managed by well known reputable managers have the tendencies to last long here. Nevertheless, you can seek the expertise of a good, reliable and trustworthy campaign manager to help you manage your campaign. Royse777 can help deliver your campaign  as he has a vast knowledge and experience here with numerous recorded successful projects under his management.

You don’t even need to read the entire mail to know that it’s full of shits.

Even a newbie that has stayed at least a week in the crypto space and has been able to read and learn the difference between a custodial and non-custodial wallet should be able to know that this is a phishing mail.

Another thing got me curious, how did they get your email address ? From the little time I have operated trust wallet you don’t really require an email to sign up there since it’s a non-custodial wallet so how did they send you an email?

Same question I am asking myself till this moment. Trust wallet need not my email for me to open a wallet neither do they need any documents or details for me to use. Now I begin to think that possibly details have been traded else where because I barely fill my mail any where  only  for exchanges and casino and of lately, I have been receiving series of junk mails which this is also amongst them. Although I do not receive mails of such nature in the past but to my greatest surprise I started receiving series of messages back to back from different languages in their thirties and forties straight every day that it is becoming ridiculous and embarrassing. I am just tired of deleting junk mails every day which is beginning to irritate me.
I wish I could just block them all. It's very frustrating.

It is laughable how these scammers are so shallow minded. They think people are not informed to know what is obtainable in the Crypto industry. Although some newbies still fall for their trap but I think this trick does not have achievable attempt on me.

This mail was sent at the early hours of the day from scammers because I know for sure that trust wallet can not stoop so low to demarket their products in such a demeaning way. If you read through you would discover that there is a link provided by the scammers which I suspected it to be a phishing link to get access to wallet or possibly requesting for key phrase too and I was wondering when trust wallet began to do wallet verification otherwise wallet be suspended.

So far to the best of my knowledge, third party wallets are just service providers and have no right to request for verification purposes otherwise they might be dumped by their users. If any wallet ask you for KYC then it means that they are not serious for business or they are scammers in disguise.

Be careful how you click links of such nature in your mailbox so as to avoid hearing stories that touches the heart.
