1281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2023, 11:44:54 AM
All the countries are going through a hard time by the fall of covid-19. Also, a big token like bitcoin is tumbling in the market at a low position. It started to rise a little from the bottom for several days. It also stopped again. What do the researchers think in such a situation? Let's hope for the opinion. .

The world economy was seriously affected by COVID-19, though some nation's are gradually coming out of that economic reality.
The rise  of bitcoin will be slow and steady as time goes, because the economic downturn globally  has partially affected the bitcoin growth rate, that's because the multipler effect of some of these economic crisis has a way of reducing the price growth, because economic activities has reduced drastically.
However we are very hopeful, due some analysis and the prediction of a bull run that is likely to happen, that the future is bright.
So the tumbling of the bitcoin token is just temporary, just give it some little time and you will see how well it will bounce back.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: September 25, 2023, 10:55:16 PM
I wish I could have posted this in a more better place but since the thoughts came from gambling addiction, I thought it wise to ask this question over here and I hope we can discuss and get this straight.

Just as the tittle already ask, I really want to know if people who are successful in gambling also seen as addicts because I believe  for one to be successful in gambling or whatever they choose to do, there must be some good amount  of time and effort invested in it as well as money and we know that a successful  gambler must have invested  both time, effort and even money to make any reasonable  winning  and these also are features of an addict as there are always excessive time spent on a betting site.

Now let's be sincere, will you also classify a successful gambler as an addict?

Gambling is a risky game, for anybody to be successful in gambling, it means that person has taken gambling as a career. Though at some point, he may look like an addict but then his a successful addict, which in turn means, his a successful career person. So  for him to be that successful, It then means health-wise, he is okay, psychological he is fine.

But situations like this hardly happen, it's almost impossible to see somebody winning week in week out in gambling, it can only happen for a certain period of time but not for too long, like big win's happens once in a while.  What if I'm a one hit wonder person, like I'm not a regular gambler but once upon a time I made some good money after playing a certain game, so does that make me an addict even though I've made good money at a certain time, just like it is a one time thing, the answer is no.
So You can be successful in gambling but not addict.

1284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should newbies invest with small capital in BTC on: September 25, 2023, 10:00:21 PM

Feels good actually to invest and have a saying to have an investment in crypto and not just an ordinary crypto an Apex one to be precise which is way more cooler.

However, there comes a factor to be considered CAPITAL. Capital stands as a major factor to be considered while investing  however coming to the world of crypto and BTC precisely,  I think small capital won't do this considering the current monetary value for BTC.
Remember  the greater the capital the higher the profit and the higher the risk however considering BTC the risk minimal.

So How Much To Invest??

As I've said earlier, investing  little in BTC now won't give you a tangible profit when the profit comes but its advisable to invest 20- 40% of your capital in my opinion .However as a eginner or newbies, you literally know nothing about investing even if you have an idea you are still new to it so it is advisable to start with little amount to understand how the game is being played before considering any percentage  to add in your investment and this should be strictly  done according to your capital.

This is what I think but I know members with investment knowledge and others with more and deep knowledge could have a best saying but according to me this whati have to offer to newbies  though I'm also a beginner Smiley.

OP, as a newbie that is desired to invest in Bitcoin, what I would  want to advise is for you to take out time to study about bitcoin, do your due diligence before making your investment. Because it is when you've known how the market works, that's when you can know the exact amount for you to invest, wether it is small or large amount of money.
When you're well educated about bitcoin, then whatever decision your making will be referred to as an informed decision. Because as a beginner, you need to do more research and ask more questions from the field marshal's just the way your doing now before taking the bold step of investment. When you do this, it will be easier for you navigate the crypto market and know how to manage your investment properly.
1285  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Question that needs an answer on: September 25, 2023, 09:30:00 PM
Abeg, I won ask one question here, because the rule for this forum plenty and them say, if person no ask question you go waka loss.

If person compose something interesting come post am for their Facebook page and later the person come feel like that topic makes sense to post for this forum as well. Can the person post such and will it be tagged plagiarism?

Note: The post was composed by the person in this forum

My own be say, I for say make the person no post am for forum again oh, even if you the be original poster, I feel say you for still give reference to that facebook post because, in a long run, one forum member fit see that your post for FB, then come for forum come talk say, you plagiarize am from FB not knowing say na you be the FB account owner or the original poster of that topic, then that time now you go begin speak all the grammar way u Sabi just to prove say true true, na you be original poster.
So to just be, on a safe side, I for like make you either leave the post or make reference by sharing the link oh.

If not, one person go just follow up your matter the way way be say you self you go no go like am. To be forewarned  is to be forearmed, na watin oyibo people talk oh.
1286  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin For Everyone on: September 25, 2023, 08:47:06 PM
I assume when you see this topic, the first thing that must have come across your mind is to figure certain errors in my post, but make we try dey rest for once so that we go fit reason sum kind matas as naija people. Bitcoin for everyone no mean say I get anyone to give you, na how we fit help out fellow citizens b de reason for this post.
The economy done bad, which everyone of us are quite aware. Millions of Nigeria youths they out there they strive and still nothing to show for it. Online financial platforms don dey available for piple to dey make money. This platforms done turn some youth to self independent people.
Another interesting way of having something to live for is the accumulation of Bitcoin and other crypto currency. We can all attest that this has also helped several youths among us.

But the sad thing is that, there are certain people who choose to hold financial information to themselves instead of sharing it with the people around them. This issue has become the common habits of Nigerians which has increase greediness among us.
Watin e go cost me if I tell you where I dey get my money ?, As long as I no put hand for bad thing, then I suppose fit give reasons to anybody why I dey buy some cryptocurrency.

Money na watin we no go fit chop finish, na just information, pass it to who so ever is interested. It's better to share a financial information than to help someone financially. And note, it's not by force, so don't force anything on anyone, but only those who are interested.

So  as e be now, you don get the update say na BTC be dey Koko now, so try invest in bitcoin.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 25, 2023, 05:17:30 PM
I have been thinking and trying to analyze what is really causing the high cost of food in Nigeria, I came to realize that monopoly is the major factors, Nigeria government are the enablers. How can one person be the sole major distributor, government should welcome competition in the business sector, every business person should be allowed to produce.

Monopoly kills competition especially if it's been sponsored by the government.
In the general market, there is supposed to be competition among marketers, not by making one person incharge of the a particular supply chain. It Then means that the person can fix a certain price on a particular product and the price regulatory body won't do anything about it, Although before it gets to that stage, just know that the government has their hands fully in it. For example, a particular company is given the licence to be the  sole producer of cement in a country, it then means for every building that is erected in that country, the cement company has a hand in it.  This kind of situation kills the spirit of competition and it's never healthy for an economy.
1288  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: September 25, 2023, 03:58:56 PM
1. Increase in the national GDP is least likely to be caused by a war.
2. Oil is considered the most crucial resource in modern warfare.
3. War affects the stock market by causing a decline in stock prices.

What do you guys think? Is this true or false?

I think there is nobody that benefits from war, that is why Winston Churchill said, "it's better to jaw-jaw than to war-war".
First, war shrinks the economy of the waring countries, because manufacturing, production and supplying will be brought to a halt, thereby affecting the growth of GDP of the countries involved.

Importation of finished product to the international market will be grounded totally,  because international flights might be restricted from those countries at war.
So if the countries at war, are well known crude oil producing countries, you will notice that, there will be shortage of supply of crude oil to the international market, thereby affecting the global economy.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the feature of Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2023, 02:53:14 PM
What do you think about what is the feature of Bitcoin, can Bitcoin touch $50,000 in 2025? I think that Bitcoin will go to $50,000 but not in 2025, maybe in 2026.

Looking From my own lens, the feature of bitcoin is crystal clear.
Bitcoin might as well get to $70, 000 from 2025-2026. With all the indications and with all things being equal, we are very much hopeful that it will get to $50,000 and even surpass it.
The awareness of bitcoin has been growing in leaps and bounds, so are more people adopting and investing in it.

Right from the Inception of bitcoin till now, you can see how successful the growth rate has been consistent over this year's.  In the nearest feature, a lot of people would want to keep their financial transactions very private and personal and Bitcoin avails you with that kind of option.
So I'm very optimistic that there is more success to attain in the nearest feature.

1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep safe the mnemonic phrase - Whats Your method? on: September 25, 2023, 11:04:01 AM
fellow members,

As we all know keeping mnemonic phrase in a secure place is the first step of bitcoin journey. But there are few thing that comes in my mind:

->Writing and keeping it with you/your place: What if someone got the access in your absence of theft or any disaster?
-> Obviously keep it online in email of any other way is risking your funds.

What can be the best possible way, My favorite method is to using a metal keycard where I marked the phrase buy again it can be stolen Sad

What your way?

Your mnemonic phrase is usually from 12 words and about,  so for me I think the best place to back it up is in your head, maybe after you must as well written it down somewhere you know it can be safe. Keep it safe away from Intruders, let it be one of your topmost secret
So always learn how to memorize it just like your phone number, and let it stick there in your head.

If you save it on your device, your device can easily get stolen or misplaced, or even if you you've written it down, it can as well get missing, so saving it in your head and memorizing it whenever the need arises is the best way to save your mnemonic phrase and to keep your wallet safe.
1291  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Before flood go hit hard again on: September 24, 2023, 10:48:57 PM
People wey get the experience get plenty to talk yarn , wen our neighboring country open boarder wey cause flood for some part of our country. My country people, abeg make we chuck mouth for this matter, as a country and giant of Africa, wetin we suppose do to stop all this things cause as e be now, if the thing wan affect the neighborimg country, Dem no go think twice before them open the dam then we go con dey suffer the thing.

Abeg make we suggest wetin this country or ihn government suppose do to  take control or stop the pending disaster. This disaster still dey pending and I believe this disaster is also part of poor economy/poverty in Nigeria

Omo the matter be say, the only way we fit fight this flood matter, no to dredge our rivers, especially the ones way dey the River Niger and river Benue axis so that them fit accommodate more water if there is an overflow like flood for example.
Another thing na to build dam's too, wey go fit absorb a large volume of water, so that if the flood come, them go channel the water to those dam's.

Na the thing way me I see way government fit do to reduce the effect of the these reoccurring flood oh. But to talk say make we stop am, Omo we no go fit stop flooding outrightly, because na natural disaster e be, but we fit prepare against it, make the damage no plenty.
Make we also tell our people them, to commot for low land areas way flood dey affect well well to a higher ground, so that them no go dey stranded after water don cover the area.
1292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with your transactions. on: September 24, 2023, 10:36:16 PM
This is just a reminder to everyone in the forum from newbie to legendary, that we should be very careful and not be in a rush when we want to make bitcoin transaction, we should be patient enough to go through the bitcoin address that we are sending the money to, and to make sure that it is the right amount of bitcoin that we are sending, over and over again. The transaction fee should also be re-checked, so as to avoid any expensive mistake that can lead to the loss of your coins.

If you mistakenly send your bitcoin to a wrong address, it means that you have lost you bitcoin, because there is no way that you can get it back, if the bitcoin was sent a a noncustodial wallet. If it was sent to an exchange, you only have very slim chance of getting it back.

An example is recently we heard how Paxos over paid $500,000 transaction fee to move $2000BTC due to bug.https://cointelegraph.com/news/paxos-confirms-responsible-for-500k-mistaken-bitcoin-transaction.
Which F2pool has accepted that it was there pool, but I don't think that F2pool will refund back all the funds, because such transactions rely on the goodwill of the miner to refund or not.
Let us try not to be in a rush to make transactions as we might end up regretting for a long period of time instead of using few minutes to glance through the transaction again. Paxos was lucky that the money was refunded because it was the mining fee which can be traced to the minimg pool, but when it is the wrong address, it becomes more complicated.

Before you make any transaction or whatsoever, it's always advised you check properly before commencing the BTC transaction,  because any slight mistake you make, you can be sending it to the wrong address, and you have a slim chance of recovering it back.
I've heard a lot of stories about people send bitcoin to the wrong address and they've not been able to recover it back, though I haven't experienced such, because I've been always careful when I'm about to start a transaction.

Sometimes the receiver might be the one to send a wrong address, and you on the other end sending the bitcoin to that wrong address that was sent to you, and then maybe after you've sent the BTC,  the receiver starts causing drama, that he/she hasn't received what you sent, meanwhile he has already made the mistake of sending the wrong address from the beginning.
So in avoiding some of this situation, everyone needs to be careful with whenever you want to have a bitcoin transaction, better still tell the receiver to check properly if the address he/she is sending is correct before the commencement.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: Our future with renewable energy. on: September 24, 2023, 08:28:07 PM
So I read a thread on the forum by Ultegra134 that talked about renewable energy and he asked;

"The big question here is, can the world be 100% dependent on renewable energy sources? How can that be achieved and are they sustainable?"

The thing is, according to several studies and experts, it is possible for the world to be 100% dependent on renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass. However, this would require a major transition of the current energy system, which is mostly based on fossil fuels that are non-renewable and contribute to climate change.

Some of the challenges and barriers to achieving this goal are technical, economic, social, and political. For example, renewable energy sources are often variable and intermittent, meaning they depend on natural conditions that are not always predictable or stable. This requires a reliable and flexible grid system that can balance supply and demand, as well as storage technologies that can store excess energy for later use.

Another challenge is the cost of renewable energy technologies and infrastructure, which may be higher than fossil fuels in some cases. However, many studies have shown that the benefits of renewable energy outweigh the costs in the long term, as they reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, health impacts, and dependence on imported fuels. Moreover, renewable energy can create more jobs and stimulate economic growth.

A third challenge is the social and political acceptance of renewable energy, which may face resistance from some groups or individuals who have vested interests in the fossil fuel industry or who are skeptical about climate change. To overcome this barrier, public awareness and education campaigns are needed to inform people about the benefits and feasibility of renewable energy, as well as policies and incentives that support its development and deployment.

In conclusion, it is possible for the world to be 100% dependent on renewable energy, but it would require a significant transformation of the current energy system and a collective effort from all stakeholders. Some countries and regions have already achieved or are close to achieving this goal, such as Iceland, Brazil, New Zealand’s South Island, Denmark’s Samsø island, and Germany’s Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein regions. These examples show that 100% renewable energy is not only feasible but also desirable for a sustainable future.

It's very possible for the world to move over to renewable energy. But there is large Market for crude oil already that is controlled by the high and mighty in the society, it has a very enviable profit margin. I feel this high and mighty people will fight the emergency of renewable energy because their source of wealth will be touched.
Secondly, it's too expensive to successfully establish the new structure of renewable energy across board, it can actually be done gradually with time but it will take a lengthy duration.

For me, making renewable energy come into fruition globally, it's something that should be done, because the direct emission of carbon has really affected and caused the depletion of the ozone layer,  there has been incessant occurrence of  heatwave is increasing by day, disaster like flood and wide fire constantly occurring. But if we begin to make renewable energy come through, some of this disasters will be reduced drastically.
1294  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Was Presidential tribunal necessary? on: September 24, 2023, 07:47:26 PM
My people, I just said I should bring this issue to you guys to also say what you think.we all know about the recent presidential tribunal just ended.
somehow I have always asked myself why they bother themselves to such extent suing jagaba(Tinibu) when they know that as long as he has been pronounced the president of nija there's nothing that can be done. this whole issue to me was a total waste if time as we already knew the possible outcome. these people have already bought power with their money shutting the truth behind closed doors. even if the other candidates sues them as long as it's still the Nigeria I know they won't win the case. Theres something this kennth okonkwo(, the former LP presidential spokes person) in his statement, he said
Quote
that INEC never release an original copy of the total 176 thousand poling unit of the 2023 presidential election. this already shows all what they are hiding.

the whole Nigeria system is corrupt even the judges who are supposed to act as head to the country have been blind folded by corruption. I wonder how the country will be with Tinibu as president in the next 4year that's if he agrees to leave or stay for another 4 year.

Here's a recap of how things has gone in the last 3 month since he resumes office,

  • Removal of fuel subsidy which was said to help government save 1 trillion monthly and later resulting to high cost of petrol in the country.
  • Approval of student loan, which has actually made pubic and state university to increase school fees and now, school fees all over Nigeria university is has gone above what a common man can afford.
  • More hardship in the economy with price of food tremendously increasing everyday
  • Signed 2023 Electricity Bill into Law which every state are now required to provide electricity for it's members. this increase in the electricity tariff again even when theres no steady light in Nigeria.

we are supposed to experience a change in every new government that comes in play. but in Nigeria every new government comes with new ideas that further increase the hardship of the common man. they no longer care if what they do affects the public because there's no one to stop them. We can only hope on God now, if not Nigeria has gone  state of no repair. let's hope and wait for the 4 year of Tinibu jagaba to see where it all leads. Please let's drop our own opinion on this.

https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/07/04/assessing-president-tinubus-first-month-in-office

My brother, the tribunal was very necessary. Ordinarily we understand that INEC has been bought by the powers that be, no doubt but it was necessary for us to challenge the sham of election that was conducted.
I understand that people are disappointed by the declaration of tribunal judgement, but this are the huddle's we face as developing Democracy, we will get there eventually. If you read the history of American democracy, you will see that at some point in time, they faced what we are currently facing, but they continued as a people to persevere till they got it right . So it will take time for us to get it perfect to a large extent.

What we need to do as a people is to continue to form a United force, just the way a lot of people did for Peter Obi during the last election. A formidable force against tyranny is what they are always afraid of, because they know that it will be a threat to their capitalism.

1295  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How ignorantic sabotage crumbles the economy and the societies on: September 24, 2023, 07:06:38 PM
During the last presidential election, if you have followed Peter Obi sequently, he talked more about, from consumption to production.
The reason why he was emphasizing on that is that, local production of goods, gives value to your currency and it helps to boost the GDP of your country.
Another thing way dey kill us as a people na politics, because politics brings insincerity, ethnicity and high level of greed.
So until we begin to conscientize our people about growing a strong economic capital base locally, we won't get that recognition and respect that we deserve.

Normally when oil price fall for international market, e no suppose to be a threat to us, because we for don get other sources of revenue way dey generate money for us, like agriculture and other industrial and business hubs way dey bring money come. Just look at the landmark of Niger state, just imagine if that large extent of land, can be used for agricultural purpose, by now the story line would have been different.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 24, 2023, 05:15:05 PM
Arsenal was ahead by 1 goal but Tottenham just scored a goal and the match is now a draw. When we look at the strengths of the two teams, Arsenal is better at the moment, and I think they have a high chance of winning the match.
The first half is almost over, we still have 45 minutes left and I think Arsenal will return to the field much stronger after the conversations within the team during the halftime. Both teams have a chance, but I think Arsenal will win this match Smiley
The two teams are playing very well, looking almost equal in power. Arsenal are good with the ball and have been able to press more to create chances. They had good chances to be leading with three goals, one from Nketiah where he would have passed to the other Arsenal player, but decided to shoot himself, it was saved by the Tottenham keeper. The other chance was from Jesus when he collected the ball from Maddison and had a clear one on one shot with the keeper but missed. I hope Arsenal will not regret it.

Although Arsenal are favorites to win in this North London Derby match but still, Tottenham are not a mediocre team so it will not be easy for Arsenal to beat Tottenham. Moreover, at this moment Son is also on fire and thus Son is able to score well in this match. After all, in the first half in fact Arsenal also did not have better statistics than Tottenham who played away. Therefore, then I believe any score is very open in this match, because for me there is no definite guarantee for Arsenal to win in this match because this is a North London Derby match which will certainly remain difficult for them.

Sincerely Speaking Tottenham played fantastic football, as arsenal where the favourite to win this match.  That own goal from romelo was something I thought could devastate Tottenham style of play but yet they still struggled to have a draw at the of the game. For me, arsenal had a lucky day, because they where favoured by an own goal and a penalty.
A draw for the both team isn't a bad one because Tottenham has shown that those 13 points they've earned so far is something they've worked hard for.
however ,Tottenham will still be ahead of arsenal on the league table with some goals difference.

West ham has really put up a good fight against Liverpool as a visiting team.
Those two opportunities missed by west ham would have been a game changer.
But then considering the dominance of Liverpool this first half, West ham United can only consider themselves lucky with a tie at this first half. ZUMA has to do more of the close marking on MO SALAH, if not Salah will continue doing damage to that defence with his wealth of experience.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: September 24, 2023, 01:44:26 PM
The past few years after COVID-19 have been the absolute worst; everything keeps rising—petrol, daily groceries, electricity, housing—to the point where you're barely making ends meet. Just to imagine, I've been looking for an apartment for over 6 months and haven't found anything yet. Not only is there a very limited supply, but those available are either too expensive, poor, too small, or everything combined. Thus, this is creating a huge feeling of uncertainty, as time is running out and I need to get settled down. Renting outside of town in the nearby villages isn't ideal either, because petrol is way too expensive.

I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same, but this uncertainty with the increasing living costs and the ongoing rat race is causing me excessive stress. On top of that, moving out of the country doesn't seem ideal either, because most European cities are also suffering similar conditions, along with an extensive immigrant crisis (see France, Italy, Germany, and the UK). I'd be interested in remote working, but the economics field I've studied at university isn't in high demand for remote working, which often recruits IT workers and generally fields that require hands-on experience. As soon as I'm settled down, I'm considering taking up a data analysis course and finishing my master's degree in order to look for more opportunities abroad.

I don't know, but each year seems progressively worse. It wasn't that bad before COVID-19; now it's the ultimate worst I've seen, and it's about to deteriorate even further. Thankfully, this forum has been a blessing and probably the only thing giving me hope, as it has resulted in me making a decent sum of money in the process. I'm yet to start looking for a job, but salaries are relatively low, despite the increased cost of living. To make matters worse, excessive weather conditions due to climate change are happening way more often now, causing floods and wildfires and destroying everything in their path. See Libya, Greece, Italy, Spain, and many more examples.

Maybe I'm stressing out too much because I'm yet to find proper housing to establish myself again after being away for over a year in the military. I'm generally an anxious person myself, but does anyone else feel the same, and how do you deal with it? How do you stay optimistic?

The effect of COVID-19 across the globe has really done damage to a lot of countries.
A lot of person's are still yet to recover financially, while some countries have gone into acute borrowing for the last three years, just so that they could at least keep their economy afloat.
Ordinarily for you to survive this situation is that, you have to double your hustle, by sourcing for other means to generate more income for yourself and also diversify your income. Doing so will make you a bit stable, hence you can have  enough money to beat the inflation and have some reserve for any financial emergency.

OP, one thing you should understand is that, you're not the only one caught up in this situation, but the unique thing is, you're ability to surmount these economic hurdles and come successfully at the end.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 23, 2023, 08:36:20 PM
Evans performance in this game has been topnotch so far, from the disallowed goal he scored and the assist he gave Bruno to score.
Not only in this game but in previous games Evans has been able to justify his come back to the Manchester United squad and also his place in the starting eleven judging from how well he tries to coordinate the defence line in this game seems to me as if the Manchester United side are gonna keep a clean sheet tonight, we hope to see that. United performance this second half has improved, maybe is because of the confidence of the goal scored.

EPL game live, an entertaining game to watch. Though I'm patiently waiting for Burnley vs ManchesterUnited.
I don't think anything will be special in the match. Burnley is a very weak team. Burnley have just been promoted to the Premier League this season, and their performance is really poor in all their matches. They haven't been able to win any matches since the beginning of the season. I am sure Manchester United will make use of the opportunity. I see the match as an easy win for Manchester United because they will be playing against a very weak team. We know Manchester United's performance is also poor this season, but I am sure they will be able to win Burnley easily.
What will be interesting in this match is that we will see Manchester United. Will they return to playing funny with a much weaker opponent? or they can rise by taking advantage of the status of the opponent they will face this time. Of course, this makes us curious, because there are things to look forward to about their coach, Erik Ten Hag. I am sure he has prepared for this match very well. But for the result, I can't be sure what kind of result they will get.
The match is on, let's see.

I have no confidence in Manchester United's performance. Even if they lose, I wouldn't be surprised at all. The performance of this team is very erratic. Now I am enjoying the match live. Manchester United's performance is weak till 20 minutes. United are not able to attack much and even keep the ball in their possession. Burnley enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64% of possession. However, United's performance against Bayern Munich was not bad, although they lost the match. If they can produce a similar performance against Burnley, United are likely to win.

Sincerely UNITED performance in this match had been below expectations, is as if they are playing with just individual talents not like a team with a unique style of play.
Burnley on the other hand are strongly holding it down as home team.
The disallowed goal that UNITED scored was a the right decision taken by VAR.
this first half might just end up in a draw from what I'm seeing here
