1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: April 28, 2018, 02:33:51 PM
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
Many bounty hunters do not want to make KYC because so many people use multiple accounts in a bonus campaign. Many cashiers who are worried about joining KYC will cause them to disclose personal information. But KYC makes the ICOs project legal and adds to the safety of the project before the government.
The thing that KYC can help you with scam absolutely wrong. Have you ever heard about Cibus . They raised 5 mil usd and before the token sale people  asked about KYC, and team said there wouldn't be any KYC procedure, but as soon as the ICO was over, there was a notice that at the advice from the lawyers, KYC would be held, and one had to provide documents with registration, make a selfie + confirm registration by a bank statement or utility invoices. Long story short after the ICO they forgot about their ICO and token price go down and now it costs about 500 times cheaper than on the ICO. But that's not all Cibus team asked everyone should send 0.003 ETH for transaction cause they don't have it!! and people paid !! I've never seen something like this. Now people says that Cibus sold ID's to the darknet. Now you can buy authorities, ID's form participants on darknet and prices go down cause they collected a lot of ID's. That's how it works. Now we don't have strict regulation and don't forget that company can do anything with your data. They can sold it to the scammers or hackers. By the way I don't like when companies "remember" about KYC in the end of the company. They know that a lot of participants won't do that and they can steal that money. All this companies will have bad end.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: April 26, 2018, 07:02:40 PM
More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.

I completely agree.  I have long ceased to participate in them.  I see no reason to waste time on them.
This is a good sign. Cause I don't like airdrop and I'm not sure that airdrop would be useful for company. If some ICO or company try to pay attention with airdrop for me this is a bad sign. That means ICO don't have good idea or product or both of them nd just trying to get more hype. But for participants it's not good too cause you give your conatact and other information for nothing. Cause I think 2-3$ for irdrop this usual payment. You spned more when will try to sell this coins for transactions. I believe that soon we will see less airdrops and that's really great.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: April 26, 2018, 06:23:28 PM
I think 90% of all using Ethereum for investment to the ICO, buying alcoins and long term holding and of course you can't do anything without ETH on your wallet. For me this is most popular coin and I think this is really one working platform right now. So even if you didn't buy altcoins or investment to the ICO  holding ETH would be great idea anyway.

1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: April 22, 2018, 06:47:15 PM
If you asked this question I guess you didn't do that before, so if have time and money be careful. There are no "good times" or "bad times" to invest. It depends on you, you can lost when everybody win decided to invest to scam ICO or to any pumping coins. Or you can lost your private key and lost everything in one moment, so before investing read a lot about security, safety way to lock you keys, about wallets and other helpful information.
When you'll be ready don't rush. It's your school, but I little bit harder, so starting with small amounts and after that wehn yo'll feel that you're ready you can bet more deposit.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you gonna buy ? BTC LTC ETH ? other on: April 22, 2018, 03:41:45 PM
I have recently been doing a lot of trading and have gotten a variety of tokens and some btc and ether don't what to do just yet and holding for too long isn't really working too well, how can i minimize my losses? reinvestment options?

Minimize losses: stop loss.
Maximize chances: hold utility coins.

Bitcoin. Litecoin. Ethereum. This is exactly the order of priority for me in crypto. Bitcoin will always and should always be more than half of my portfolio. Everything else relies on the success of the leader. Altcoins for me I always love Litecoin as one of the oldest projects. I still do not support Ethereum but I am holding it for a few years.

Look at utility first (then, therefore, Monero should be in that list).

You sir might be complicating it too much. It should simply be:

Maximize profits: ETHEREUM

Ethereum has the most potential (to change the world!) of all the coins you mentioned and should receive a nice pump in the coming days.
Totally agree with that. As more I survive on crypto as more ETH I try to buy. Ethereum now I think the best platform, I support NEO too, but no one can bet ETH now. Maybe in some time, but not now. Also BTC and LTC a good choice too. I bought LTC with delay as I thought. I bought it for 90 dollars. I should do that before. Anyway still it's not bad. I think for 90 % of all people BTC is the first crypto. Still this is a best choice for people who don't have much time to research other coins.
BUT I'm trying to read more about LTC recently and I have doubt about that project now. I'll do more researches but I feel that something went wrong. Or it's just BTC with their lightening network and cheap transactions.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: April 21, 2018, 07:41:38 AM
I see people here use Etherdelta and IDEX . I think this is great cause i like DEX trades too. I think it's the best way to change, but unfortunately Binance have more good usability. Bittrex not bad too. But I think future for DEX exchanges . Now they have low volume, but I have to say that IDEX much more better than Etherdelta. That was awful exchange if we mean usability. But when volume on DEX exchanges will grow in future and we see more good exchanges
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest in 2018 on: April 20, 2018, 04:09:51 PM
Check out these 3 projects... could be a good year for them!

Devery - EVE
Lamden - TAU
NULS - Nuls

Don't really sure about Lamden. For me it looks like a scam in some way. They have one developer and founder and a lot of things but witout porgress. I saw their youtube and their blogs and it doesn't looks solid.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: April 20, 2018, 03:51:23 PM
I don't like paradigm about eggs in a one bascet. I did the same thing I hold one coin. I sold others and hold one, but unfortunately it doesn't help. Fortunately I had some spirit and changed my mind , after that I'm looking for good coins and it doesn't matter about count. If I think that this will be a good coin I hold it. If not I'll sell it easily. But anyway if you find something good maybe that would be better to use more than one coin.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which coin will 5x?? on: April 20, 2018, 03:40:15 PM
I think for any "old" coins very hard to do x5, especially if they have a huge capitalization. Maybe agree about Stratis ( good porject) and Waves ( maybe not 5x , something abot 2 or 3x) , but about other don't sure. Some altcoins with less capitalization can make 5[ easily like PUNDIX , but It's hard to do that with Bitcoin cash or something. ETH is a good and stable, but not 5 too. So coins from 100 to 300 th on rate can do 5x , maybe more it they can get hype like Verge

1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin or ethereum ? on: April 15, 2018, 02:24:13 PM
They are both good I think. These coins now is a leaders on the market, not just only about capitalization but in general. BTC is a famous coin on market and ETH is a most popular platform to the ICO. While ICO still popular and while these coins will live ETH will live too. So now if you have money to invest you can choose both, but if you have not so much money I would prefer ETH, because sometimes I'm investing to the altcoins when I sold my EHT.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: April 15, 2018, 02:03:55 PM
what will the dump, if you can not deposit a coin on any exchange

https://twitter.com/alevlaslo_2/status/985484884067184641

I am talking about exchanges, not yobit....
on yobit will see a dumping for sure, so better, accepting CLO on some other, bigger, serious exchanges, will gain more value
haha good joke! I always told that yobit it's not an exchange this is just way to the scam to say "see we're on the exchange" and after that have less than 1000 trade. In other way there are a lot of dumps there and on telegram groups that writing about damp yobit on of the favorite. Only huge exchanges first 10 like binance, hitbtc, okex and other proper to the coins that want to leave on market
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: April 15, 2018, 08:46:24 AM
The cryptocurrency market have experienced almost 5 months of decline.
And there is no clear sign of recovery.
How do you predict the future of the market?
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you

The market experienced a decline. It now remains to wait for growth. Now it seems there are already some small upward movements. I think soon everything will start to actively grow.
I hope that you're right guys because I think if market will grow we will see more poeple in crypto and this is very important to the blockchain technology. After mass adoption we may see good results such as : useful projects, products that can help people solve real problem. If blockchain can bring the result market will grow more. Maybe next year we can see new high prices
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you long term or short term? on: April 15, 2018, 08:37:41 AM
How many times already this market has shown that the best strategy is long-term investments. At the moment, any project on the blockchain still does not function as the developers plan. Any project can grow in the future very much. At the moment when he will be accepted by the world.
Totally agree with that! Not just only about lon-term strategy but about the future of crypto too. I came to the short time, just thought about some easy profit but when I read more and more about blockchain, bitcoin , ICO and other things I understood that this things can change the world. But we really need time because not much people involved in crypto now. If we compare how many people develop blockchain products we see that this is just a bit form other developers from the world. I think less than 1 %. When more and more people will come to crypto we will see more and more good and useful projects.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: April 14, 2018, 09:03:33 PM
Well I think MyEtherWallet still the best one for alt but you like comfort exodus would be a good decision. There are a lot of altcoins there and you have shapeshift for trade( but this is not cheap exchange). Anyway if you have time learn more about these wallets. Exodus has a long history and still good wallet and Myehterwallet support most of the altcoins I think
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans with your Altcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 06:15:24 PM
I'm holding some altcoins. I started with 2 altcoins one of them was ETH and after that I added to portfolio 5 altcoins but still 2 altcoins controls 85% of all. But this is very useful to invest a little for other coins because you're starting to learn more about these coins and as a result you know more about crypto.
If you don't invest to the coin you won't look at them but when you did that you have a inducement to look at the crypto market.

hello guys have other crypto like burstcoin available to mining and someone know if have project already active and launching soon about crypto with proof of space or proof of capacity?
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: June 27, 2017, 11:25:07 AM
one question guys for sure someone have alreasy ask for this but read 2000 messages is boring :S
if i pload one 5tb hdd and i copy and paste the full folder of the plotted hd to a new hd it will works? is not more fast to plot a new one?

No, plots are measured in scoops, and each scoop has a number of nonces. Your entire mining power should be uniquely represented by number of nonces. If you simply copy paste, then your nonces will overlap (completely, as it were), so you would still effectively be mining with only 5tb.

You must plot new space; you can't copy/paste plots.

thank you for answer me i have another question is possible plot one HD and move the HD to another computer and open the wallet with the same passkey it works?

thanks
