I believe Inoue can win a title in super-bantamweight. The featherweight division would likely become his limit due to his size and his age. Mid 30's athletes' bodies will change some slowly while others are quick to catch up. Inoue at over 33 years old will lose some of his quickness and strength. He may continue to become a champion like Usyk, Crawford, GGG, and Beterbiev because these people are extraordinary but that doesn't mean they didn't depreciate.

Unless Inoue will continue to climb after winning a championship which is possible but unlikely to happen. He maybe a star now, but at with the same age as Pacman, Pacman has more achievements than him. It's really hard to compare the two, I guess it's a combination of Pacman's uniqueness and Arum careful match making that he achieved so much in short amount of time. But Inoue can still make his name and will probably can go at high 126-130 but it will be very difficult for him, facing natural fighters at that weight division. We know how good Arum in terms of milking his money making fighter, but I can say that Inoue has the caliber that really brings him to standout on his division, and in terms of moving up to another weight with his fighting skills and his dedication to keep enhancing, the chance of winning is very possible for him. Now that he is aging and losing that athleticism that he heavily relies on, his game is suffering. He never developed defense or any reliable perimeter or 3 points shooting. It all depends on this coming season. He should show that he can still play and adopt so he can still get another contract after his current contract expires. Otherwise, you will be right, he will have a hard time even securing a veteran's minimum contract. But let's see how will events turn on Westbrook's career.

However, it's just that he always got injured. I thought before that he has that strong built but the more he will continue to suffer injuries, he might become a Boogie 2.0. So unfortunate seeing a player with a superstar or all-star level and still considered on their prime but always being sidelined for long because of injury. Hopefully, he won't go that far, still young and still in his prime indeed. AD can give decent stats each time he's inside the court. Unlike Boogie, he has good teammates who can lift him if they all have healthy condition this coming season. LeBron and Westbrook can give him good help if they will form their version of a big three. Looking to see them sharing the same court with a good chemistry playing together. |

Sky's defense is suffocating, it's difficult to imagine how the Connecticut Sun pulled out a win. Candace Parker defensively was superb and made 2 important 3's, everything is going in for the Chicago Sky, and the lead even went to 11 points.
It's almost like a win for them and yet, the Sun didn't give up.
Increased their energy to a level higher than the Sky, Jonquel Jones defense went to monster mode, ball distribution was spot on, and transition plays were near perfection.
The 11 points lead was 50-61 with 7 minutes remaining in the game. The Sky scored only 2 points, for the rest of the game.
The ball distributions are so great as we seen the offensive productions are almost identical, nothing to say, but that tight defense brings the Suns to the finals. They are playing with full of heart inside the game and they didn't lose hope even the Sky dominated them during 2nd and 3rd quarters. That comeback in the 4th was superb, they are playing together synchronize with both defense and offense limiting the Sky to create a good play and make a basket. |

I like it. I remember there were 32 teams in the NBA before. Seattle always wanted to bring back NBA to its city. I don't know how they lost their team earlier. These last years I also heard rumors of Las Vegas or Nevada wanting to join the NBA too.
Yeah, it would be great if the NBA returns to Seattle and the new team continues the SuperSonics franchise. By the way, as far as I know, the SuperSonics left Seattle in 2008 because the previous team owner couldn't negotiate with the local government for funding to update the arena, then the new team owner couldn't persuade the local government to pay for a new arena. As for a new team in Las Vegas, it would be great to know how it will even be called. Just weird though, if they can't find funding for their arena then they were able to relocate to and now become OKC Thunder. Anyway, yes, I still like the idea of the Seattle team becoming Super Sonics again, Bring back memories and for those who already followed NBA that time, the team of Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton in the finals against the Chicago Bulls of Michael Jordan. Miami Heat together with the Philadelphia 76ers, are my favorite teams in the East. Miami Heat in spite of competing at the top the in East thru the years always had the cap space to sign even superstars like Giannis, KD, and Mitchell but they always came up short and I wonder why. Is it because they might have a problem with Butler who's known as the heart and soul of Miami or they just simply lost those bids against the other teams?
I consider Butler a superstar. If only they were 100% healthy last season, they may have a real chance of winning. I'm also hoping for Victor Oladipo and Duncan Robinson to step up their games. And maybe Miami can still acquire some new before the season starts.
Heartaches. That includes Tyler Herro being injured, one of their rising stars and a reinforcement for a veteran Kyle Lowry if he feels he needs a rest. He cannot play above 35 minutes anymore if I am correct although he did play 63 games. Next year they should be focused with their young core to do most of the job. We don't know if they are preparing something explosive that's why they don't do any movements yet, but I doubt they will let go of Bam. He will be the new face of Miami Heat. Letting go of Bam, that's a bad idea, he might not be a dominant big man but he could space the floor well since he has good perimeter shooting, not to mention, that his defensive skills really fits the definition of a superstar. If Herro was healthy, they have a chance of beating the healthy Celtics. Nothing but to agree, if Herro is healthy, the chance of winning is higher. Imagine he's not there playing, but Miami almost wins it. What more if we add his productions and the spacing for both Bam and Butler will be wider, additional score that needed to guard gives a good advantage with your superstar not to have any double teams. Hope to see them, continue being competitive even they are always short to win a title, but they've brought the franchise to playoffs are good to see that they are keeping their place as a top contender from the east side. |
