1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real use cases that can't go wrong on: November 18, 2019, 12:52:27 PM
There is nothing that can not go wrong, you site an example of real estate invest good, but do you know there are many failed real estate business. The main issue in the space is gaining users traction, just look at the top 100 projects in the space and check if most of them have 1000 daily users, it would be difficult most of the transaction is from the exchanges. If you have no users then no demand and no use case for your token
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 18, 2019, 12:46:44 PM
Please people should try as much as possible to do their research, one thing I see in the space now is inside trading, most of these so called VCs have inside knowledge of what is going to happen before an announcement is made and trade it, make money at the expense of others. If you see someone shilling you a coin think twice
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FINALLY- we can now exchange coins between different blockchains on: November 18, 2019, 12:43:28 PM
This is more like Shapeshift, than Atomic swap, though I would love to see your Github depositories, if it is like Shapeshift then nothing new IMO, it is just like using different exchange liquidity in the background for the swap. A lot of work is on going with Atomic swap but none as really gain great user traction

1285  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance to Open Beijing Office Amid China’s Renewed Blockchain Push on: November 02, 2019, 12:12:33 PM
It makes complete business sense for them to open office in China, we all know how China operates and if the people bought into what the president says then it is a new big market. I would expect more exchanges to follow suit because  they won't want to miss out of the new opportunity
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 02, 2019, 12:08:39 PM
This is one of the role Bitcoin was created to play and most of these hot spot are great market and if Bitcoin can meet their need in this period of difficulties, when the good times come they are more likely to stick with it. The good thing for holders in the countries is that it goes for premium for those who are willing to sell their BTC

1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the Ton, one of the biggest project ! on: October 04, 2019, 07:08:04 AM
Is there any other project in the space that raised more than $1 billion, what I am waiting for is the valuation at which is going to trade, if the valuation is less than $2 billion that would be bad for investors, tie up your money for 18 months and can't get decent return on investment because I heard they raised $1.7 billion form their ICO
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FET & BINANCE Best of Scam ??? on: October 03, 2019, 07:04:17 PM
I don't know why people are surprise about this, for me the IEO game ended before it even begun. Exchanges see this as another opportunity to make money and gullible investors keep giving them money. Binance is even better exchange like Velic that lost 50% of its ICO in a single day will you say about that.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: October 03, 2019, 06:34:52 PM
After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project, many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile, the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption

If these are the two reasons you think the price would reached $4k then you would have to wait long. How many projects in the space are not trying new things and the second point, the POS reward, what is the annual return on investment, this is very important. There are reasons why people are not staking their tokens in most of these POS projects because the return do not worth it
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Market Cap And Bitcoin Facing Resistance on: October 03, 2019, 06:34:28 PM

It seems the bear market keeps on engulfing the cryptocurrency industry, there is no sign of recovery from some of the major altcoin and the support level were tested.  Here is an article regarding the current analysis of cryptomarket cap.

Crypto Market Cap And Bitcoin Facing Resistance: BCH, BNB, EOS, TRX Analysis

Important notes:

Quote

  • The total crypto market cap is facing a strong resistance near the $220.0B level.
  • Bitcoin price is also trading below a crucial resistance area near the $8,500 level.
  • EOS price failed to hold the $3.000 support and declined below $2.950.
  • Binance Coin (BNB) is declining and it might test the $15.00 support area.
  • BCH price struggled to clear the $235 resistance and it is currently trading towards the $220 support.
  • Tron (TRX) price is down more than 5% and it broke the $0.0140 support area.

The crypto market cap and bitcoin (BTC) are facing important resistances. Ethereum (ETH), binance coin (BNB), ripple, BCH, tron (TRX), litecoin and EOS are currently declining.

I don't think Crypto is resistance to what is happening in the traditional market, the fear of recession seems to be entering into the subconcious of investors and they are factoring that into their decision making, new money is not flowing into the space, because during recession Fiat is the king.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETERBASE: Europe's Premier Digital Asset Exchange on: October 03, 2019, 06:16:00 PM
Good t come out with new road map for the last quarter of the year, but the most important thing for me is the lack of liquidity on the exchange, I don't know the burn rate of the team but if this continue is possible the team won't have financial muscle to continue the development of their exchange
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TOMOCHAIN - The Most Efficient Blockchain for Token Economy on: October 03, 2019, 06:07:34 PM
Slow and steady wins the race, Tomochain has proven that if you are dedicated to a right cause, the project would succeed. For me.what the chain needs now is marketing for it to compete strongly with the big project in the space, I know the ICO fund is not as huge as other big project in the space but there is need to take the space of some of the hyped projects
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Action in relation to Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 08:41:16 AM
The key thing for me I think is market confidence. Alts only surge when confidence is really high, such as the back end of 2017. If confidence is lower, then people hedge their bets and buy BTC as the safest and least volatile crypto. The long bear market may have ebnded, but it still casts a long shadow in terms of the effect on investor confidence. It may be some time before confidence returns to really high levels and creates an alt surge. But BTC price impacts this, too. As BTC price goes up, confidence grows, and the higher it goes the more the alts look undervalued and more of a bargain. So I think an alt surge is largely confidence-driven, but BTC price is the main thing that impacts this confidence level.
If the price situation depends directly on the level of confidence, then we only need to wait until the level of confidence is very large. I think that in 2 years the situation will definitely change for the better.

If you are referring ti the bear market turn around, I think we are almost into two years now. For me I believe what will change all these is when most if not all these scam ICOs got delisted from most exchange that is when life will return to Altcoins.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Bitcoin price increases suddenly. What will happen? on: October 03, 2019, 08:36:56 AM
Price increase in Bitcoin has nothing to do with people investing in ICO/IEO, Greediness is what stop the ICO party, people are not getting the ROI they used to get, just checked this year for example how many of these IEO/ICO have actually outperformed Bitcoin, most of these projects are under their ICO price and no one wants t lose money, until people start getting sustainable ROI that is when they will start investing in some of these projects
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: October 03, 2019, 08:05:27 AM
When you see a project that most of the things it does is to copy and paste other projects ideas  and can't even do it better. Waves is not in the class of EOS and TRON not to talk of Ethereum, check the two chains and look at what is happening on both, most of the DEFI projects in the space are on Ethereum this is a big deal, how many are using Waves? NONE
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: October 03, 2019, 05:38:42 AM
For me I would say the adoption rate has stall, in my country virtually everyone I know that are in this space are those in the space before the 2018 bear market, people got hurt and are scared of investing into the space again. It is better to grow slow and steady and build a strong foundation than to grow fast stumble and grow fast again because the negative news from the MSM also is not helping in any way
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 💰 ZERO FEE TRADING 💰 ATOMARS EXCHANGE 💰 on: October 03, 2019, 05:33:09 AM
Atomars Exchange, a trading platform for various cryptocurrencies is reminding us all that there is an ongoing zero fee trading on their exchange platform until the 11th of November so if there's anyone that is looking for free trading fee i think you should start accumulating your cryptos so you could trade as early as possible.

Refer to this: https://youtu.be/zPmkjUgMctI

I never believed in exchanges without commissions. Because I don't think it's sustainable. How will a exchange manage its operations if it does not receive commissions from transactions made on the stock market? Only with listing fees?
That thought sounds pretty ridiculous to me. And I don't take any stock market seriously and invest in such a claim. We've seen examples of this before, and no exchanges that makes such claims has really been successful.
That's why i'll never take serious such a projects.

Pal I don't see any problem with this, it is called promotion, you need to use what you have to get what you need, people love free things and I don't think there is a problem given them what they want. The problem I have is liquidity how liquid is their is their exchange because there no need to move my tokens to an exchange where the spread is wide and the order book thin
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Japanese Firms Forming a New Body To Create Regulations for STO tokens on: October 03, 2019, 05:28:17 AM
This is one of the things I liked about Japan they are pace setters and usually early adopters of new ideas, for me I like this because it seems SEC is only interested in collecting fines from these developers instead of setting out rules t guide the space, I thing I know is that cryptocurrencies has come to stay
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining New Coins Can be Deceiving on: October 02, 2019, 06:36:32 PM
I don't know why you don't see the positive in doing so, assuming the prices of these coins pumped you would be sitting on pretty cash, for me it worth the try, I think the mistake you made was not researching these projects before mining them. I think ICOs ERA is what takes the fun of mining coins away because it is a very easy route for the developers to take
