12822  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: May 27, 2016, 05:07:26 PM
Yep, I'm an active spender of bitcoins in some games I play (like CS:GO and Dota 2). I'm also buying several things off of the internet like some goods, random stuffs, and whatnot that could satisfy me.
12823  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: May 27, 2016, 05:05:51 PM
Let money work for me? I would create a small-scale enterprise/service that is very much commonly needed by the masses. With that, I'm sure that my 21 btc would work for me. Spending it all would probably be a waste, so why not create a service that will be of help to the masses and at the same time, earn passively?
12824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of the bitcoin will jump again? The price today is acting weird on: May 27, 2016, 03:53:22 PM

If the price rises to $500 in early July, I will be very happy. That is 10% rise in two months, or 60% in a year.

60% annual rise a quite a lot if that is sustainable. I hope can be like that in the next 20 years.

60% a year for the next 20 years, that is 12,089 times of present value, or $5.7 million for each bitcoin.

Which is plainly insane/crazy. Of course it wouldn't be guaranteed 60% rise annually. Just take a look at 2014 and you'll get a nice picture of what I'm saying. The recent price increase, I think, is due to halving becoming closer and closer each passing day. Mostly manipulation and not pure natural growth.
12825  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2016, 03:45:05 PM
Me im just planning to mine and mine and mine and store bitcoins on my wallet and wait for price increase then sell it for instant big profit.I've been storing bitcoins for about a month from my hashocean account ive aready save about 0.1 btc in total.Im hoping this halving i can have big profit now.Goodluck to all and to your future plans

0.1 bitcoin is not that big so you cannot expect to be earning a lot on this halving. Maybe on the next halving after this halving you can have more bitcoin and then you can expect to have a bigger profit on your hold. Just continue what you are doing and earn more bitcoins. Accumulate as much as you can and you will have a lot of money when the price gets really high.

I found out that sports betting and using the tips from well-known tipsters are great ways to increase your btc. I don't know about you, but it has given me some nice profit in the current times. Just bet on sports that you know pretty well and you'll do good.
12826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Bitcoin Wallet Balance? on: May 27, 2016, 03:35:52 PM
I voted other, because I don't really care what's in it because I know it's safely hidden in my encrypted paper wallet. I do check the price often, but the balance I don't. I'm concerned on the daily price movements. Idk why but it has been my routine to check it once or twice daily.
12827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: May 27, 2016, 03:09:28 PM
Why is storing Bitcoin against Bitcoin? I think that it is the same as with money the banks and stuff do not that you safe your money at home because they want the money to go around so the economy can go on.
Holding bitcoins is not the same as letting a bank hold your cash. Firstly, the bank will use your money to loan to others and give others money (so in essence, it is an investment) and secondly, you would give it to a centralized system that pretty much controls the currency.

This can "sort of" help the economy because the money is being used, but with bitcoins, if you simply hold them in your wallet, nothing is being circulated and thus there is no demand for them.

Adding bitcoins to the circulation can help stimulate the economy, and at the same time, holding bitcoins "could theoretically" help bitcoin's value by removing some of it in the circulation, thus making it more rare and valuable. The latter statement is theoretically possible, because in some accounts, that is not always the case.
12828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: site like blockchain.info on: May 27, 2016, 02:51:45 PM
These are a very regular occurrence and often pop up in google ad results too. Something needs to be done as I'm sure they've caught out quite a few people.

What I'm weary about is the fact that search engine results often displays these sites at the top of results. As a result, more and more people who doesn't pay close attention to details often gets scammed and lose money.
12829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $475 on bitstamp!! on: May 27, 2016, 02:44:48 PM
This isn't something to be euphoric about, but price movements are indeed a great indicator as to whether or not there will be something happening big. This may seem great, but the price is hovering to this range for quite a long time now.
12830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: May 27, 2016, 02:03:18 PM
No trust included. Not entrusting heavy money on casinos, but just the right amount which I can afford to lose. Maybe some reputable sites like the ones operated by Stunna and dooglus. Any other sites spawned in the last year or so, I do not trust them.
12831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: May 27, 2016, 01:59:20 PM
Earn? Hmmm, the last win I had with gambling is around 0.1 btc in 3 days. It's not much, but it's something. Also, I think it's not great to earn with gambling solely, as there still poses high risk of getting busted than being in the greens.
12832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: May 27, 2016, 01:55:16 PM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

Yes. Somehow after you lose you forget all about it and carries on the next day with more bankroll. I think the short termed-ness of the human memory of emotions is the key to the success of casinos.

The casinos have to make you come back time after time. Otherwise they'd be losing money. Because you are coming back time after time, there is more chance that you are going to lose all of your funds, due to the house edge.

If there are no players in the casino then it will become a problem for them cause they will not profit anymore so they will make a move by making free sample or a free run in one of their slots or giving people free chips just to play or free trial so people want to feel the game and what will gambling felt for them.

casinos will always have players cuz there is always someone who want to be millionaire
no what people are saying it still good business
like it or not you/me/he can stop but other can
that how it goes

Yup! there certainly will be lot of players on gambling cause many has after a million bucks or so and in their entire career in playing it even if luck is against them they will keep on playing no matter what it takes that is how they would end up addicted to gambling.

i believe that not all of the players on gambling sites are looking to get rich from gambling.

maybe there is a lot of them who are like this and think they can get rich with gambling but there are still a good number of people who are just playing it for fun only.

Yep. Some are just killing time and spending money which they can afford to lose. Like me, I don't gamble for the sake of winning it big. I just gamble for the hell of it, and to simply enjoy my time.
12833  Other / Archival / Re: Who won the biggest amount in Satoshimines ? on: May 27, 2016, 01:51:16 PM
Those bombs are like ghost  Grin Wink
Didn't you mean mines ?

Let's start with describing how bad the website suck.I had started with a bank roll of 0.20 bitcoins, played the higher *24 mines in sequence with a base bet of 0.001 ,didn't hit the jackpot even once.I gave up,lost 0.20 with no return.Playing at lower odds is useless.

Bombs... Mines.... They both hurt ^^ . I agree with you. The best odds you can get are the second hardest ones which is the 1/5  which is 20% change to lose and only make 13% on a win. With dice you get a 50% chance to make almost double. So the odds in satoshi mine are against you to begin with.  Cry

Though the odds are against player and chance of winning is low, then also on satoshimines, you can make your amount double or triple if you got lucky enough.

Satoshimines really needs a lot of luck. To profit from it has been very hard for me cause everytime i play, i keep losing. However, i have seen people winning a lot from it. So the pay out is there, it is just whether you are lucky to be the one or not.

I think mod of that game manipulate if they see you winning in because wherever i click theres alway mines blasting my money and it turns im always losing there or i think im not lucky person in satoshimines and really i have known friend he has great strategy for that game and i see him earn good amount for this game, and you can subscribe him to his youtube channel hes strategy might help Search singwala satoshimines strat and you can find there and for me when i tried it i still lose bombs are blasting everywhere im not really lucky in gambling

Maybe you're just unlucky on that game or on those rounds? I tried the game myself, and haven't experienced continuous bombs exploding on me. For me, this is a pure luck-based game and no such strategy would exist to beat the game or win big. No skills, just luck.
12834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: May 27, 2016, 01:43:58 PM
Everybody want to find the way to make guaranteed profit with gambling but the house edge is more smarter than us, nothing safe with gambling because it have so high risk and i am not sure there is any way to make good profit all time by betting.

House is the only safe in gambling and always remember guys that there is no really safe way or method in gambling. Only the house or owner
of the gambling site is safe and secured with your money that you play to their site.
If you are right, then gambling against other players or against a sport person or team would be the safest way to gamble. We can confirm this, martingale strategy is perfectly working in real life or good enough mathematically but never against a gambling site.

Well I forgot about that, thanks for adding it dude. Well let's say sportsbetting is a safe way if you a good sports analyst and you know the capacity
of the team that you are going to put your bet. So, it is better to gamble that way rather than not even using bare mind on it.

Actually, I would also like to recommend sports betting because its very entertaining watching live while you are betting, this season as a good time to bet because of the NBA playoffs, you can still bet on the raptors vs cavaliers tomorrow.

Yes, true. Also in sports betting, you don't have to sweat out for your picks because some of the good tips are given for free by some seasoned sports bettors. In a gambling site that is run by mathematical algorithms, scripts and such, it's hard to beat those.
12835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 27, 2016, 01:12:50 PM
Gambling has a lot of attractions with chance to make huge money with very low amount, i think when someone won big amount and this thing make so many people they can do this because they also have luck there, free money make it addictive and people keep playing of gambling sites.

Particularly this. Because of ridiculous advertisements and gambling gimmicks, people are becoming delusional and think that they can win those prizes no matter what. Afterwards, these people bet hard and become problematic gamblers, keeping in mind that someday they will hit the jackpot.
12836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol is back trying to build Bankroll in sports betting. Profit: 0.073BTC on: May 27, 2016, 12:49:23 PM
As always, nice bets you got, Carles. Thanks for sharing it again to us. I always want to ask this question: do you really follow a wide-variety of sports or do you also rely to some insider tips and just share it to us? It seems that you're win/lose ratio is on the green side.
12837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOTA2 PREDICTIONS ***FREE*** +14.50 UNITS @milos_zikic LIVE TIPS! on: May 27, 2016, 12:43:59 PM
Alliance is leading 5:1 in their head to head matches. I dont see them having problems winnings this, maybe in 3 maps but still!

What site are you checking in their head to head history? I'm a bit curious since Alliance doesn't have some good plays today unlike in 2013 Alliance.

You can find everything here http://esportlivescore.com/ (Under DETAILS tab in the match) yes alliance is not as good as in 2013 but those were different times. And in the last few months Alliance has been imrpoving alot.

Nice, just checking out the site, looks clean and updated. Back to the topic. The last 5 matches of their H2H was from the old lineups of Empire. They are facing a new and strong lineup of Empire (because of Ramzes666). I hope you will win your bet for Alliance, although this is slightly risky because of Empire's recent matches (currently on a losing streak).

Welp, Ramzes is slightly off-beat on their last matches, so I guess I'll bet on Alliance for this game. Also, [A] is taking up good matches recently. I'll just hope for the best on my bet for them. Smiley
12838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 27, 2016, 12:31:50 PM
Thanks to the great minds who visioned our future technology.  (The theoretical physicist of today)  Because of them we have a technology of cashless purchasing, to put bets online while traveling or at home or even fishing in the middle of a lake.  And that's explosive especially using btc.
Definitely bitcoin payment system must be the best invention of this century.

With the respect of gambling, it must be one of the best suitable sector for using bitcoin payment system. Bitcoin gambling is exploding because, without any country's restrictions and with very low transaction fees and also makes it possible to gamble with the very less amount.

What if there isn't any transaction fee involve then I think that will surely make bitcoin gambling become more popular right? because many will possibly want to play gambling without the worry of the transaction fee at hand right that means you can have lot of money for gaming and that can be fun!

In reality, removing tx fees isn't fun at all in the case of bitcoin.

Removing tx fees would only result to less miners processing transactions for the whole network. Tx fees are only present if you are depositing your btc into a site, but most gambling sites nowadays cover up the fees when you withdraw. And besides, the fees in general doesn't amount to even a couple cents, so why is it a problem at all?

The deal with bitcoin gambling is that anyone can try their luck without the hassle of submitting identity verification or whatsoever.

Nice thread you have here, I never have played in esports but was reading through this thread and I think to give it a try, its great that you are doing it for free and I am happy to see a lot of green writings. I hope to make some profit from your tips.

Hey thanks man, also check out my CS:GO thread where im over 30 units in 1 month : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283985.1140

wow thats pretty impressive might have to start betting csgo with you

Also looking to bet with his tips on CS:GO. I'm not a follower of the game's pro scene as I'm more of just a player. In Dota 2, I'm an avid watcher of professional events. Op, I hope you'll be active on the upcoming Manila Majors and help me win some btc right before the halving (also, let me win more rares and items too!).
12840  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Do you want me to send you $500 worth of bitcoin today? on: May 27, 2016, 12:17:33 PM
Still haven't got any response from my pm. I'm curious as to why should his demands be region-specific and this thread in the gambling section? Maybe it has something to do with an exploit in a gambling site and the one who submits his demands from EU or US is what he needs to do the trick. Hmm, identification, IP or anything? Huh
