i see in the news that people in south korea have using bitcoin too and i see that they give a good support for bitcoin itself and maybe they make a good affect for the price. i think the price getting high is because supply and demand is not balance and this make bitcoin is too expensive to buy. we hope that in the future, there will be many country and many people that will followed south korea and japan to using bitcoin so bitcoin will be spread in many place.

believe that bitcoin is working as a central bank or we can also say that bitcoin is a central crypto currency for any project. That is why everyone like to get BTC for their project. That also show that more people even the founders of altcoins believe on bitcoin.
i think bitcoin can not act like a central bank because every people has its own to manage the bitcoin in their wallet. if its like a central bank then we need some system or some group of people that can controlled or manage all bitcoin that have been exist and still in mining and watch over for not using in the wrong hand. if this is the case, then its really hard to do, because i am sure, the population will be bigger than only watching a member from one bank only and we are talking about a whole bitcoiners in every country. |

maybe he mean that within 10 days, the price will be fall into deep and we are going to see the lower price like before and we are getting hard to see the highest price like now. but i am waiting for what will happen within 10 days like the OP said and i hope the price is not going down too deep. but i think the OP is right, because with the price now, only rich people that can bought bitcoin with their money, and the other only can bought bitcoin part by part and its too expensive to buy a whole of bitcoin. |

It is possible that because of the sudden surge in price, there will be a correction happening in the future. But I do not think the price will fall back to below 1000$. Even before the rally, the support was already at above 1000, so if it falls, it will be on that level.
every possibility can be happen because we are not sure about future of crypto currency. maybe we can say that in the future, crypto currency will be stay exist, but who knows crypto currency will have the same conditions in the journey. and for the price, if something bad happen like people do not trust crypto curency anymore, then crypto currency especially bitcoin will not stay for any longer. the price will be down for correction as always but with many of people using bitcoin, i think the price is not going to deep. |

I consider my self a new cryptocurrency trader. I started last month actually (April 12th precisely). I started with $25, thank God for this forum advice my first Altcoin was Ethereum... it was $45 or so then. I did a further research on Ethereum and found out it's worth it. it's among the best Altcoin if not the best. The price went as high as 100$. So i finally sold @ $97. My investment double to $56 in less than a month.
I owe some of my success at Ethereum to day trading... i did lots of switching back and forth between Ethereum & Bitcoin. Am now holding Ripple which was why I sold my Ethereum. My $25 initial investment is now worth $72 less than a month of trading Ethereum, Ripple & Bitcoin
So my advice: You can actually start small. You need lots of research before investing your hard earned money. Don't invest in Worthless coin. You can actually make money from them but only knowledgeable/experience traders make money from them.
So stick to the good coin till you become experience enough to trade those coin.
Download Reddit app and join your favorite Altcoin groups. The reddit groups are full of great coin analysts who are knowledgeable in Altcoin trading. Bitcointalk is also very helpful.
this is another good story that we can learn and we should try like he did especialy if we don't have big fund to do trading. i am agree that we can start trading with small amount and we can do research for the coins like the OP said and then we make decision to buy the coins. i am sure that in one day, our investment in one or more coins will be increase in the price so we can double our profit like the OP. all in all, for me, this is a good lesson to do trading so we can follow the OP to make profit. |

I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
@Eternu, buy when there are dips in the price.. dont worry if you have bought when it is still at high price and you think it already in its low, just buy.. we havent yet reached the $2000 this year, and it is not to late. and maybe next years, that aim to reach $2000 will be tripled, quadruple or may ten times fold the price.. I think we still at lower price of bitcoins in terms of buying. The reason i am saying this is that Bitcoin expected value in few years is 5K+ or even more so if you intend to buy now at less than 2000$, you will still be in profit in coming months. My suggestion is that if you have some surplus money invest them in Bitcoins and you will find yourself in profit very soon. to me although the price of bitcoin is trading above 1700 USD level but still i think bitcoin is trading in a low price, its price are stil expected to increase more and more in future and hope that very soon it is going to cross 3000 $. that is right but if we want to see the price reach $3000, we need more time before it breaks $2000. i think if the price is not going to go $2000, then i think its the best time for us to trading with altcoin as we know that altcoin will be up for this time so we can increase our bitcoin amount and we are ready to sell when bitcoin price is increase too so we can get double profit. but no matter the bitcoin price is getting low or getting high, i will still make a profit because i am ready to sell in any of time. |

I did have book some profit around $1800 and i am waiting to see whether the price could hold above $1700 because it has a strong resistance that that valuation, i am not sure when the SEC news will be coming out and if there is a rejection news then we would see a small correction but not expecting any drastic dump.
its good for you and i hope you can make another profit with the up and down of the price. i hope that after the SEC news is coming out, the price is not affected too much and the price will still increase and i guess many of us wants this is happen too. we will be more happy if the price can break until more than $2000 as the price looks like too difficult to break at that point. and for the correction price, i hope it will not to go down until $1500. |

it is possible to reach $4000 this year but we need to be patience while the price is need to break $2000 first and its not going happen soon. the price will be up and down too often especially in this month and next month. but i am sure that someday we will reach $4000 even more than that number. but for now, i think we can stick around with the price and we can make profit as much as we can and we need to be wait for a while to see the price is up.

I agree, and you just nailed it. If a person knows how to send transaction properly, he does not need to post this kind of stuff (OP's whining) Bitcoin confirmation does not change, it is the transaction fee and rate that does change. So in order to have a fast transaction we need to follow the transaction fee rule. Nobody is educating newbys. That is is a huge part of the problem. There needs to be webinars and seminars to help people along. i think new people that start to join into bitcoin world needs to learn by own self and not depend and waiting from the other member answer so the knowledge of that new people will be increased with learning from other source. i think OP needs to wait more long to see the transaction to gets confirmed because until now, i see the transaction is still unconfirmed transactions. maybe the network is over load and it cause the transactions getting too slow to gets confirmed. so i suggested to the OP to be patience and i am sure in the end, the transactions will gets confirmed soon. |

Depends. If you can pull it off, it can be profitable, especially when bitcoin price pumps. But it's not a walk in the park, you should know that. that they can mine 1$ per a day on their own PC (without ASCI)
$1 isn't much – your electricity bill could cost you more than that, and the expenses of your PC, hardware, and cooling. (i7 4790K, GTX 980).
Don't get your hopes up. Mining with a single GPU is not going to make you any real profit. On the contrary, you might be losing money. Even if your PC is all too powerful, the mining will wear it off, and you will have to spend money to continue mining. I'm still looking for a good software for GPU/CPU mining.
I know of two CGMiner and BitMinter. is there any other option to buy "inexpesive" mining hardware to have at least 1$/day mining speed?
To be honest, what I have seen so far, There is nothing called 'inexpensive' in mining. It's like a long term investment, if you want money, you have to pay. Plus, I don't know what 'inexpensive' means to you (some people find $500 hardware inexpensive, others find it too expensive). An Antminer S5 would cost you about $140 (more or less), and if your power cost is less than 5cents per Kwh, you would be profiting $2 at the current price (that of course, if the pool is for free). this is completed answer that you can get. its all depend on what hardware you want to use, beside that if you only use 1 vga card, then i think its not possible to make $1/day at least you should have 3-4 vga cards then i think you can be able to make $1/day. but the other things that you should know is what type of coins you want to mining because once you the best coins that can help you to make $1/day, then you are in the right way and you can continue but if not, then you should find the other coins and tested it. the other thing that you should know is about the cost of electricity. can you cover the fee from the mining? if not, then you are not ready to start mining. |

This happens when you use windows system,you get infected by all the crap in the world and end up loosing money for using a paid service,what an irony ,now it is time that people start using linux and other open source OS to safe guard their personal stuffs.
my only sadness is when windows itself is late to telling the other members so they are choose to walk in for some good reason. i think the new admin is know the email password from the old admin. if this is not yet to touch, then you are safe and you don't have to thinking too many, you need to be active again. |

I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.
I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.
Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

That happened because you were greedy, but that's nothing wrong with that - mas everyone who ever gambled are at least little bit greedy. It is really nice that you stopped gambling. I'm not saying that gambling is bad - gambling have many positive things, but it was definitely bad for you, as you couldn't stop gambling when you knew you had to. You life will be better now without gambling. We all have got greedy at one point thinking gambling is an easy score when in fact its totally a death trap Gambling is also one of the most distractive kinds of entertainment known to man and you still in the early stages of quitting gambling because its a tough transition and you know what they say bad habits die hard..... Let gambling not come between your friendship you can still afford to share a good laugh!  i agree with this and if you are going to go gambling place too often and you are playing gambling using all of your money then in the end, you will gonna loss everything you have and the other side, you can be an addicted in gambling games. but you still can avoid to become addicting person and you shouldn't forget to quit the games when you thing that you have enough win and enough money in your hand so you will stay away from being addicting person. the other thing that you should thinking is become greedy when you see that you can win easily in short time and you should realize that this is just to attract you to stay in the gambling games. |

My Best luck is probably the winning streak i got in world cup 2014. Started with ~80$ my local money and won about $1.200 in that period. My worst luck is when i bet on manchester city vs West ham in the first half this year premier league. I bet the score 2-1 and city score another goal in the added time to make it 3-1.
Are you sure just with 80$ investment you made 1200$ in sports betting? this is really amazing, and you are a lucky boy. It is not easy to make this type of profit in sports betting. Only jackpots or unexpected wins will give us this much of profit. I never made this type of profit in my gambling life. For even if you trued and tested this long term strong dice strategy. It's still unpredictable that we can't stipp of it vecause its so hard to win and playing that have 1% House Egde.
