12861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Sub Fans... Time to Let Go of Your Altcoin and Buy Bitcoin on: January 02, 2016, 04:09:08 AM
Monero going for a breakout out of its range.
12862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: January 02, 2016, 02:46:26 AM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

We go back to gold.
12863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Circle Jerking Award for 2015 on: January 02, 2016, 01:29:39 AM
Huh Huh Why no XMR ?

Please add xmr among the option so we can, once again, enjoy a pointless xmr versus dash keyboard warrior fight.

Oh please!

Limited only to the top 10 coins.

Edit:  And this isn't about the mudslinging between coin tribes.  It's about who the best white male circle jerking bros are.
12864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Circle Jerking Award for 2015 on: January 02, 2016, 01:17:12 AM
You missed to add the option 'All of the above'.

There are different levels of circle jerking.  Cheesy
12865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noteable altcoins? on: January 02, 2016, 01:15:25 AM
LOL.  Ethereum and Dogecoindark shouldn't be in one sentence.  You just had to sneak Dogecoindark in there with Ethereum to make it look legit...  You just had to...

So what is not legit about DOGED?

I take it back.  It is totally legit.  Everyone please invest in dogecoindark.  You'll love it.
12866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin Circle Jerking Award for 2015 on: January 02, 2016, 01:12:05 AM
To find info, my trading group lurks around forums of different coins, but some of them are so white male  libertarian circle jerking bros, it's hilariously funny.  So maybe it might be a good idea to start a poll and see who wins the Circle Jerking Award for 2015!

All coins listed are limited among the top 10.  If you can't decide, it could help if you go and see their forums and look at some of their posts.

Edit:  You can quote some of the posts that you found funny if you want.  Grin
12867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving already 100% priced in! Would you buy or sell now? on: January 02, 2016, 12:48:45 AM
Read in several threads that mining would still be profitable for most miners if price wouldn't change at all when halving kicks in.

Until today I was absolutely sure the price would go up long before summer but apart from the psychological factor and the entire community awaiting an increase there is no reason this would happen. Were we all wrong? Ever since the first halving new coins hitting the market play only a minor role (no role at all anymore for BTC pricing). So why would the price go up?

I don't know about you but perhaps this isn't the time for coin accumulation after all. 430 is too low to sell and too high to buy imo.

If the halving is already priced then it's better to sell now
12868  Economy / Speculation / Re: One single guy shorting with $5 million on Bitfinex going to get squeezed on: January 02, 2016, 12:44:46 AM
Not really clear what your talking about.  $5 million usd would be 12,000 bitcoins.  We havent seen that volume today on bitfinex.

You do realize bitfinex is basically a bucketshop right? I wouldnt be surprised if most of the trading there was just the actual owners of bitfinex. Also i dont think any hedge funds are interested in bitcoin.

(edit: there's a reason why they decided to operate in hong kong - outside of usa and eu - because they have no regulations about that kind of thing. if they were in usa for example they would be closed immediately by the feds. caveat emptor).

Yes, they actually are interested in Bitcoin.  There's freaking hedge fund guys that go on the tiny altcoin exchange Poloniex and short with $100,000-$200,000 just to fuck with people in illiquid markets for free money as they cause terror.

wow really ¿ thats very interesting?

Don't worry about it.  That roach guy loves making shit up ever since their beloved BTS 2.0 was dumped big time by none other than the Larimer bro.s themselves...  Those were the gods in their realm (bitsharestalk.org).

I guess he had a trauma and never recovered psychologically.  Now he lost faith and thinks everyone is out there to scam everyone else.  Which is true more or less.
12869  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: January 02, 2016, 12:39:02 AM
But what if Gandalf will arrive if there is no price increase for the halfling?

12870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrencies Technical Analysis on: January 02, 2016, 12:31:39 AM
I am trying to trade using your analysis on 4hr and 1hr charts.  Can you post both every 4 - 6 hours?  That would be truly apprecitated.

edited

I could try to do an update every 6 hours and a bitcoin and litecoin update every 4 hours (except if I am sleeping)

Ok.  Cool.
12871  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 01, 2016, 01:50:31 PM
This is best and right time to buy Bitcoin for those who missed or waiting for some entry point. After halving of blocks we all expect a huge rise in price if that doesn't happen because of any reason then too 400 $ will be bottom and you dont have to loose anything.Mining cost will increase and this current price is safer at this point.

This is very wise chinese advice.  Follow it.
12872  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 01, 2016, 01:47:23 PM
i have a little doubt about btc price in future.should i save btc for increasing value of bitcoin?

or maybe price of btc will be down in 5-10 year
just imagine about future of btc and tell me should i save bitcoins for future or not...?

Yes you should.  If BTC has the same price after 10 years, then sorry.  At least you tried.
12873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Centralized NXT IS BEING DEAD on: January 01, 2016, 01:44:09 PM
Nxt is doing pretty well these days, i hope the POS currencies will rise this year.

?  Care to explain why?

It has grown 1% the past days, and it is still in the top 10. And I saw many exciting projects coming up on the forum.

Rofl.  Ok.

Haven't they look at this possibility already and planned their exit like selling their stuff and mine at home instead or probably set up solar large panels to free themselves from electricity costs?
If there will be no price rise for the halving, it would be a disappointment but for the current $400+ I don't mind really. I still can wait till it goes 500-700.

yes if there is no price rise after halving then it will be a big disappointment for sure but $400 is a good price honestly I will stick to it but unexperienced people will sell their Bitcoin for sure if there is no price rise after halving and that would be a good time to buy some BTC for cheap price,

Bat bat bat they always say it is good cheap price ro buy when down bat bitcoin not rice...?

The price will rise anyway. If it's not done by legit growth, then Chinese exchanges will manipulate the price just like MtGox did. The only question when the Chinese exchanges do manipulate the price, how sustainable would it be?? Will we see a huge drop after reaching a new ATH?

That's what they're doing now.

The. Sauron will get the ring.

12880  Economy / Speculation / Re: One single guy shorting with $5 million on Bitfinex going to get squeezed on: December 31, 2015, 09:50:58 AM
That entire $11.84 drop that has your panties in a bunch was a whopping 5500 BTC, and that wasn't only sell volume. 9/10, if someone is on BFX shorting $5M, they know what they're doing.

This is what happened and why Finex was considerably lower than BTC-E and why Finex is still lower than all other exchanges.  Yea, some of that volume is buys, but not much.  The buy volume is Okcoin and Huobi, and everyone else just follows.  Finex will continue to be abnormally lower until this guy stops manipulating.

And?  You going long right?  Buy.
