I would be interested in the ten.

You are a new seller I am an established buyer seller and escrow with many many many many good deals and no complaints against me.

I would be willing to do it piece meal 2 units at a time or even 5 units twice.

My terms are I am sent two units up front. I pay the 1600 plus the fedex shipping costs. when they arrive and they work.

I am in new jersey.

It is most likely 35 a box. So two pieces would be 1670 in btc ltc doge or paypal.

Your choice of payment.

so 120 days no machine.  or 120 x 50 = 6000 x 0.08 = 480 usd - power cost

that is a low estimate as  0.08 usd is a low number average for 1 th of mining for the last 4 months
12864  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has covid sooo: on: October 10, 2020, 11:03:26 PM
I voted for number 5 myself

Me too. Just when you think the situation can't get any more absurd, it does.
I would have voted for a sixth option: Covid, having invaded Trump, decides that humans are a toxic environment, and retreats back into the wilderness, thus ending the pandemic.

I don't really understand why Pelosi is bringing up this 25th amendment thing now. It seems like it would be counterproductive, and just entrench Trump's supporters. Certainly there's no chance of him being removed for being unfit to serve - we all knew he was unfit prior to his election.

Yeah I am sure I missed something today. and that it is worse then when I posted this thread. Grin

12866  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I have a bunch of 580's and 570's on: October 10, 2020, 05:44:22 PM
Hello everyone

I have a bunch of 580s and 570s sitting around.
I bought these but never set them up.

Anyone interested? What would you offer?

50 usd per card

a)This price is too low of an offer

1) He has yet to give a price
2)He never said he would do escrow.
3)He never said they are 8gb cards
4)He never said what country he is in.

this is a 4gb on ebay buy it now used 110+17 = 127

https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-RX-580-4gb-Graphics-card/362627293672?

don't do business without an escrow of some sorts.

Based on ebay 100 shipped for a 4gb is meh

and https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Radeon-RX-580-8GB-GDDR5-Graphics-Card/284040405062?  with this 8gb at 145

 120 is a meh price.

so

 100 for 4gb
120 for 8gb are better then ebay prices.
12867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: real costs of crypto minig and hype on: October 09, 2020, 09:54:15 PM
To be a worthy investment, return of investment calculator needs to be 3 months or less because this market is very volatile, you dont know anything what will happen after 3 months, short term, up to 3 months is okay. Today is 20 months your return of investment, in 2 weeks could be 10 months and then after another 2 weeks can be 5 months and then after 3 months can be 100 months or even worse 200 months, before july roi used to be 100 ~ 200 months. Also this is not hype, is just like crypto market is, there are bull and bear times.

In your case, is not bad to mine as long as you are getting something out of it, but do not invest any heavy money on it, your location is not good for mining, mining is competition around the globe.

10 usd cents is good for right now.

also winter is coming these rigs will lower your heating bill.

He is a lot more  then 10 usd cents so he should not mine with more gear.
12868  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Some very 'bad' news on s19 shipments. on: October 09, 2020, 09:47:34 PM
So they are waiting on 1800 ph of gear.

about 16500 s19's

is 110th x 16500 = 1825000th/1000 = 1825ph

Gear is due in dec and jan

6,100,000/2500 = 2440 a Machine for the jan order.

don't know what they paid for the dec order of 14,000

Man they will be crushed is coins drop to 8k Grin

anyone have experience with the riserless Biostar Mining Board TB250-BTC D+

https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=902#overview

will they run 7 x 5700 im total noob to all this and hesitant to buy and cards wont run on it.  have a asus B250(19GPU) motherboard that's slowly driving me insane.

The problem with this type of motherboard is, it can not give the gpu a proper ventilation and also the cards place in a area that wont circulate and get the better airflow each cards, in the long run the oberheat problem will occur in this type of motherboard, the space is more important in gpu mining because it will produce excessive heat and it will give a high temp in all of the gpu.

Look if you alternate cards they work great.

no temp issues below and fans are not high at all

12870  Other / Politics & Society / Trump has covid sooo: on: October 09, 2020, 04:24:42 PM
So Pelosi wants to use 25th amendment which allows for an unfit president to be removed.  Strictly due to covid-19 illness.

"Democrats introduce bill addressing president's fitness"

So have at it guys.  This gets better every day.

I modded it so please be somewhat civil.

12871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX 570 8GB does not work 13 gpus, other brands do. on: October 09, 2020, 02:37:17 AM
Hello

I have mounted several miners with 13 gpus on an asrock h110 pro and I have had no problem, but a few days ago with an 8gb asus 570 it was impossible.

After several tests I realized that the problem was these asus gpus: https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RX570-O8G-GAMING/

I do not know exactly now but I would say that at most they reach 7 or 8 gpus, if for example I mix asus, sapphire or xfx it happens the same, when mounting the asus it limits me to about 7 gpus, if I remove the asus and leave xfx and sapphire the 13 gpus.

In summary: If I have a rig with 13 gpus running using xfx and sapphire mixed without problems, when putting 1 asus of this model it stops working.

If I ride asus on a 6 gpus rig with no problem.

Has anyone come across this problem? And if you have found it, you would know how to give a solution : )

I know that a solution would be to mount 6 or 7 gpus rigs, but my intention is to mount them of 13

Please excuse me because I write very bad english.

best regards!! : )

My intention is to live forever and be the richest man in the world.

Even though that is my intention it won’t happen.

Some Asus gpus have weird or odd driver issues. So the odds are you won’t be able to get all 13 asus to run on that rig.

I normally don’t buy asus for mining ⛏ .
I normally don’t buy gigabyte for mining.

MSI
SAPPHIRE
Power Color are good amd  cards for mining.

ok Phil..got it!  ordering these biostar today delivery prob early in the next week.  if you don't mind will shout out once they have arrived and start assembly.  in the meantime all gear unpacked and waiting..

Let me know how those GPU's fit.  I remember reading somewhere those motherboards had very little space between pci slots.

he is doing every other slot only four so they will fit well.

I checked all my boards and my three biostars are up in clifton nj about 65 miles from my house.

so far they are very stable.

i use g4400t cpus. one of the lowest power cpus for these boards.

I have to check with my notes 📝 as I know we have a three phase and we have 800 amps

I don’t remember if we are 480 into 208 or some other drop down

we generally get 217 to 229 in our panels. once we break down from the 480 or what ever it is.
12874  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My new 300KW minipod... on: October 08, 2020, 04:47:10 PM
I guess it could be in hardware section of mining.

So some fast questions.

Where are you shipping from? USA, China

I like it and could want one.

we have three phase 208 but I think the feed panel is 800amps of 480.

shoot me a pm.

My location is New Jersey.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Up a little this morning... currently $10920USD/$14444CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

A step in the right direction. Go Bitcoin go.
_____

Got lucky with Hurricane Delta. It downgraded to category 2 before making landfall and thus caused much less damage than anticipated.

No fatalities nor even any injuries have been reported and all reports are that damage has been minimal... mostly toppled trees and wires in our general area.

It will probably be another couple of days before power and internet are restored and we can find out how we fared. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

What a year!

Well some good news just a 2. Be safe.

No real improvement  for a miner. The stats for the s19 pro are

110 x 0.0744 = 8.18 usd a day earned as per viabtc.com

the s19pro burns 3.3 x 24 = 79.2 kwatts lets say 80 kwatts

so

8.18 - 8.80 = 62 cent loss at   11 cent power.
8.18 - 8.00 = 18 cent profit at 10 cent power. at a 2500 price for the s19pro 13888 days to break even
8.18 - 7.20 = 98 cent profit at   9 cent power. at a 2500 price "     "     "         2551 days to break even
8.18 - 6.40 = 1.78 usd profit at 8 cent power. at 2500 "  "   "     "   "    "         1404 days to break even
8.18 - 5.60 = 2.58 usd profit at 7 cent power. at 2500 ..........................         968 days to break even
8.18 - 4.80 = 3.38 usd profit at 6 cent power. at 2500 ..........................         739 days to break even
8.18 - 4.00 = 4.18 usd profit at 5 cent power. at 2500 ..........................         598 days to break even
8.18 - 3.20 = 4.98 usd profit at 4 cent power. at 2500 ..........................         502 days to break even
8.18 - 2.40 = 5.78 usd profit at 3 cent power. at 2500 ..........................         432 days to break even
8.18 - 1.60 = 6.58 usd profit at 2 cent power a 2500 unit .....................         379 days to break even

those numbers assume:
no breakage.
no maintenance cost.
no infrastructure cost.

they are grim numbers.

Actually I would say they are more grim for asic builders then anyone.
12877  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump 2024 Limited Con-Con on: October 08, 2020, 02:27:32 AM
yep. trump didnt do much. so to get anything it would need 12 years before he would do anything people want.

how about give someone else a try that can get what you want sooner

im not american. but if any leader does nothing for 4 years and says people will only get what they want in another 8 years.. sorry.. bye bye birdy. time to leave the nest
(bird reference because all he does is tweet)

Nice post.

@ op he is 74 got the covid has trouble drinking a glass of water with one hand. He is also challenged by walking down a ramp. Not to mention 50 pounds overweight.

So once he wins this second term and serves it for the full 4 years he will be 78 if he gets a third term he would end up being 82.

I dont think he would hold up to two terms no less three terms.

wow..been seeing your posts for a long time.  BTCtalk lucky in having such helpful members.  thank you kindly sir.  haven't purchased the biostar MB's yet but will update this thread with pics of my current gear already in hand in couple hrs...i do have apw3 and 7's along with 2 of these(full cable kit included)
https://www.evetech.co.za/antec-signature-1300w-platinum-power-supply/best-deal/8897.aspx

Nice they should have two full sets of eight pin each.

or 4 cables.  which you could use 1  of the four and make two good four pin cables.

hook up one of these antec psu’s and test the four pin with a meter.

You then know what pins are negative and postive.

you also know the board works.

Do you know how to start an atx with the jumper to the 24 pin cable.
12879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which country is the most cost efficient to mine crypto? on: October 08, 2020, 12:32:05 AM
With mining rewards shrinking amongst the crypto scene.. I wonder which country is the most cost efficient to mine crypto..

Between energy costs, sourcing components and building mining rig(s), temperature regulation, and storage space etc.. Which country do you think has the best potential?

What do you mean by building mining rigs:  gpus?

China is the cheapest place to mine an asic directly to btc. Simply besause you can get asic mining gear cheaper then anywhere else.

GPU mining is really hard to answer.

But probably China again with an eight card gpu rig  like this one.

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Cheap-Price-Graphics-Card-Miner-GPU_62453167233.html?

is a nice base to build.
12880  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 08, 2020, 12:23:51 AM
Yep because people choose to believe that it is political it then becomes political.

BTW it would all be solved if people simple stopped fucking for about a decade.

Once there are no babies people would start to become valuable as a limited resource much like BTC is non inflationary.

Just think as a human the single best action you can do is have any kind of sex, but intercourse.  Solves many of  the worlds problems. Actually gives power to the people not the politicians or big business.

Can you imagine the world population shrinking to a sustainable size and every simply having a lot of fun sex?

The chances of that are the chances of me picking a key at random and finding a 10 btc address.

YES!!! ANAL FOR ALL!!!  Grin  Grin #nohomo Cool

Roll Eyes Seriously:
Sex is not that simple. There are reasons why most humans prefer intercourse. Reasons almost beyond control. Neurotransmitters, hormones, endorphines...
You can't just "control" that. Life does not become simple just by looking at it in a simple way. Likewise, things don't become political because people choose to believe so.
Everything human is awfully complex. If you don't respect that, you probably never get real problems solved real well. Maybe by accident, but on the rarest of occasions, if we look at our history.

Now for the important part:
Our population never was meant to shrink. In fact, there is no "overgrow" of humans, but the sick politic and economic systems that don't work for an expanding population. These systems were made to work for a few and enslave the rest. Global food production would cover 9 billion people's needs twice. Still, look how many people are starving. A difference between Africa and America, as an example, is that people are comparably well educated, so they must be tricked into believing to be "free" (among other helpful beliefs).
The inhere sickness of servicing the few, instead of servicing the many, is the real problem of the world's politics.
And see, they already tricked you by believing that the population growth is to blame. Also, the systems are made in ways that you can't really change. You can just replace them. And that might be as a long way as it came to be like it is today. Thousands of years. And it depends on educating and training people to handle primitive motivations like greed, fear, hate from the start of life until they have grown up. Then we might eventually be able to make it work for all of us, not just a few.

See, bitcoin is solving systemic problems at the root. That's why it will win the fight, the fight that was started by the few.
This is a key example how to transfer power from the few to the many. As long as the many manage to stop fighting each other, the few will lose.
The few are well aware of that, so they manipulate the many into feeling greed, hate, fear (...) about each other.
the many can't simply take over power by trying to become like the few.

I hope you got my point, i'm feeling really bad at expressing things today  Grin
Edited the post because of that, too.

Over population is not the problem. The problem is most.people dont understand the power they have over the elite world leaders. JUST stop feeding the system new people for a decade and world.leaders would lose control over people.  Managing thousands by making them fight for resources has been done for thousands of years. The single.greatest resource for world.leaders is an abundance of people.  Ten years of hand jobs, blow jobs, muff jobs , rim jobs would create a shortage of people for leaders.to manipulate. Leader would need to alter their methods of control. I am sure they would.

OK, let it put me this way then:

If you try to control a part of a complex system (aka. the problem) by making single, simple and widespread changes, you will most likely fail, if not introduce bigger problems than the ones you originally wanted to solve.

This is roughly the essence of complex system theory. In fact, our linear thinking (put action A to make state B become state C) puts us in a bad position to become successful in a complex system.

EDIT: Solution: replace the system with a better one. See bitcoin

chipped in 2 merits for that. I like that.
