Guys I noticed today that ever time the price goes down it is usually happens first on Huobi but then sometime a bounce happens led by Okcoin. Obviously this is because of the 20x futures on Okcoin. Probably some closing of shorts etc etc
But I was also thinking (maybe a conspiracy theory) that miners could be using a "pump and dump" scheme by dumping on Huobi and then pumping using the Okcoin futures before another dump.
What do u guys think?
That wouldn't be too farfetched. We've seen a lot nastier things done in regulated exchanges for billions done by legit white collar banksters and fraudsters. |

And it's the Chinese exchanges doing all the manipulating, specifically OkCoin and Huobi. All the other exchanges are just following them doing some arbitrage.
China manipulated up and Bitfinex manipulated down. Then even after Finex dropped, China refused to budge for a long time. So right now we're in a stalemate between China pumpers and Bitfinex shorter manipulators. Huh? China, specifically OkCoin and Huobi just took profit if you haven't noticed. And as far as I know BitFinex is also China to me. |

No way! BBQCoin is the best! OP was not asking about which is the best coin and I am not here to debate which one is which I am looking for noteable altcoins to look into what other implementation of software there is out there. Among the thousands of altcoins, I was hoping at least a few would stand out and have some interesting implementations code wise that could be used as future sidechain concepts.
I know of Ethereum, which is however not Bitcoin code based, which wont fit my need. I am also familiar with Namecoin, which is the direction I am looking for other reimplementations at. Please dont spam me with a copy/paste coin as I am not here to invest, but just curious about the technicalities of alt-codes.
