...Getting the first block solo mined into space... a milestone.

If they did it (and I don't think they ever will) it would be a small maybe a usb stick miner.   There is not a chance they drag a bunch of miners into space.
12922  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: - negative diff hike - on: November 22, 2014, 08:32:24 PM
You have to remember some miners at this price cost more then they make.     I think a  lot of old hosted machines will start to be unplugged.

Donation - .02 per

S3+ - $50 dollar off
Currently - 10 in stock

I appolgize for doing a moderated thread, it is sad I had to.   I was being spammed by other sellers in my thread.

Says not available in my country and I'm in us.  I would agree it's a good watch though.
12925  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cloud mining or just lend out loans to people to make a profi on: November 22, 2014, 10:41:01 AM
I would do neither myself.  Loans are just too risky.

And I prefer hardware over "cloud" mining.  If you go cloud mining go with trusted one.
12926  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 22, 2014, 10:38:02 AM
Has anyone received their RMA parts from syscooling?  (They used EMS shipping on me)

I started talking to them on Nov 7th and its now Nov 22 still no replacement.   That is about half a month.  I had to buy adapter and pumps for each of my C1's to get up and running (In it around another 100 dollars).
Which pump did you finally end up buying and how are they working.

They are working great on pumps.  There could be a better place depending where you live, went to ebay and sorted by items in US (I am in US and did not want to wait for pump to come from china).  The pump with original set is 450 L/H. Make sure to go with 450L/H or higher, the one I went with was 500L/H.  I also went for pins so I could plug the 3 fans and pump into a molex to 3 pin power connecter.

Pump:

Molex to 3 pin adapter (To use instead of syscooling harness):

12927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best PSU for Titan Miner? on: November 22, 2014, 07:39:14 AM
I think in that range EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 would be a solid choice.   I just tried it and it is a very good PSU for that range.

12929  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bitmain shipping question on: November 22, 2014, 02:52:51 AM
when you go to bitmains website it has all the miners listed as if they are in stock. however when you look closer only the s3 has "in stock". what dds this mean? that the other units are produced to order o rare in a slight que etc? thanks

In stock means they have it ready to ship.  Some are future batches not ready to ship yet.

L1- for example future.   S4 - Shipping in stock.
12930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Some Guide For buying hardware on: November 22, 2014, 02:32:46 AM
Definitely buy a cheap s4 coupon and buy s4 for under 900 bucks you Will profit in just under 50 days!

The S4 is a great price point right now.  I have to admit.
12931  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 22, 2014, 01:51:48 AM

The CC with this liquid is cubic centimeter.  1 cubic centimeter = 1 ml.   1 will fill one plus a little.

LTCgear is legit.  I have been with them almost 3 months now, zero issues.  Get payouts weekly directly to my wallet.  LTCgear does not prorate payments when you buy shares.  They take a snapshot of your number of shares on Friday, and pay out based on difficulty over the week.  LTCgear has been in business for over a year now, with many satisfied customers.

learn to math first.

Then check what & who you believe - pay today & get a full weeks payout tomorrow....? sounds legit

I run 11Th & its NOT enough but then im not 15 yrs old, living at home rent-free & dreaming of having pubes/sex one day.

You're really trying to sell the shit out of ltc gear aren't you?

Seriously, cloud mining is risky. Its the very definition of the perfect Pontiac scheme - where either difficulty and bitcoin price move in a way you can say 'oh, it's not profitable so contract is over as per the terms' and take any remaining profit, or to simply scamper off with the profit when you are at the peak of accepting new buyers. Watch out.

You will notice a LOT of low activity members trying to sell that company.  Start looking at activity when you see it mentioned.... something is not right with it.
12934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cloud mining or just lend out loans to people to make a profi on: November 21, 2014, 06:08:56 PM
I think eventually we will see some "cloud" turn out to be ponzi.  Some of the big names I think are safe.  But some day we will see a ponzi.
12935  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: So what do the big hashers do with their electricity bill? on: November 21, 2014, 06:07:38 PM
I pay out of mined coins for the month.  As long as I can pay with it I will keep mining.
12936  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Nov 18th to Dec 1 diff thread (-0.35%) to (1.14%) on: November 21, 2014, 06:06:02 PM
If we truly get negative I will be extremly happy.  I can say none of my ROI excel sheets included a negative difficulty.

It does make sense though with low bitcoin price, those with hosting will be having a hard time with miners such as the old dragons.
12937  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Antminer S4 - $400 Coupon / S3 + And C1 $50 dollar coupons on: November 21, 2014, 02:25:38 AM
any luck selling them?  I was able to sell 4 s-3 coupons so far.

Some I still have quite a bit.
12938  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin Miner as a job on: November 21, 2014, 01:35:59 AM
I am a programmer and love programming. It's all I do. My dad wants me to get a job when I turn 16, but I dont want to. I am looking to spend about $1,000 (less if I could) on a miner and I want it to generate about $200 dollars a week on average. I have been looking at the SP20-Jackson miner which would generate about $140 a week and costs $1,190. Anyone have any suggestions on a miner. Thanks in advance!

It will take more then that to get 200 a week.  If you treat it as job do ROI with math.   But doing it as job.... lots of capital needed.  1000 is hobby mining.  Nothing wrong with it I love mining, just takes a lot to make a living.
12939  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A thought question about encryption on: November 21, 2014, 12:47:29 AM
For pretty much anything encryption is a good thing.   Just be careful with keys don't lose,  or make easy for others to take.
12940  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Recomend a good Bitcoin Mining Hardware on: November 21, 2014, 12:44:01 AM
Hey thanks for the reply SP20 looks good. Avalon4 does not have a price in their website and read a couple of bad reviews to them. Prism? is it a company name of a product?

Any other recommendations?

It's actually Prisma made by ASICMiner... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=791827.0

I would be cautious of the Prisma.  A lot of people are having a hard time getting them to work properly.  Once they are set up they seem to run and run, like other AM miners.  But getting them set up seems to be the issue.  You should be pretty experienced before messing with this one or have some help.  It is the best priced of all I believe.

I really wanted to get a Prisma but that was what scared me.  I know my first asics were powered by AM.   I'm hoping they do a second version with temp sensors and cool within a case.   The melted ones scare me.  (And it probley is a very small amount I have no idea effected number)
