12961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find fake volume exchanges. on: March 13, 2019, 01:10:14 PM
I read a very detailed article about the problem of showing fake trading volumes a few months ago. Even the most established exchanges partake in such activities.
Here is a link to the article:

12962  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Update Google Chrome now! on: March 13, 2019, 12:53:31 PM
What is even stranger that Chrome is not have automatic restart after update, this should be something that happens automatically, and Firefox is doing that every time after update, without user intervention.
I check updates for my browsers manually several times per week. They are updated automatically also but I have never noticed either Chrome or Firefox restart manually after downloading an update. That would be bad if your browser just closes while you are in the middle of work. Following a manual update both browsers have a button to click on to restart it.

Honestly I didn't know that an experienced bettor is called sharp which is all the proof I need that I don't belong t that club, nor have I heard of the bad beat term. Thanks for the nice info graphic!

What a match, what a performance by Ronaldo and Bernardeschi! Amazing support from the Juve faithful in the J Stadium, I haven't seen it that loud for a long time. This comeback will serve as a huge boost to Juventus and now the sky is the limit!

Windows Defender can be a bit tricky to turn off. Here is a guide how to permanently disable Windows Defender just in case you want to do that.

12966  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Best Type of Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 13, 2019, 08:13:30 AM
OP, just head on to Amazon now, they have reasonable price...
It is not recommended to buy hardware wallets from any third party for your own safety. Only purchase them from the official sites and official re-sellers. Amazon/Ebay and similar sites should not be trusted with your funds.

@Jet Cash what do you mean exactly? Can you give me some more details I don't quite understand what kind of enhancement you mean.
12968  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Adulthood is a scam, wish I could stay young forever on: March 12, 2019, 05:48:06 PM
I remember when I was still is school and I would get a bad grade or didn't feel like studying my parents would tell me 'Your only Job is to study! We will take care of the rest, all you need to do is study and do your homework'.
It took a few years before I understood the importance of what they were trying to say and how easy life was when you have a mum and dad taking care of you and doing everything for you.

Those contactless cards have a limit regarding the maximum amount that can be spent without entering the PIN. In my country it is about €25-30 I think. Anything above this can be bought without entering the PIN.

These cards can be exploited with different methods if you are close to the card.
Have a look at this video how easy it is:

12970  Other / Serious discussion / My Test: The Google Camera Port Hub on: March 12, 2019, 05:13:24 PM
I want to talk about a great camera software for Android I was introduced to a few weeks ago.
The Google Camera Port Hub was developed by xda developers. It is an Android application matching the quality levels of the Google Pixel and Pixel 2 cameras.

I tested it out due to its feature called ‘Night Sight’ and I was pleasantly surprised.
With Night Sight activated you can take clear pictures in low light conditions without using your phones flash.
“Using machine learning, Night Sight balances the colours of your photo so that objects show their natural colour at night”.

Read more about Night Sight here:
https://www.blog.google/products/pixel/see-light-night-sight/

The application is about 120 MB in size and can be downloaded from the official xda developer’s site here: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-port-hub/
If you have an Android phone with a Snapdragon chipset check the list on the site if your device supports the Google Camera app.

Once installed, and if your device supports the ‘Night Sight’ feature you will be able to activate it from the Settings menu by clicking on More > Night.
Night Sight can come in handy in situations where you want to take a clear picture and you can’t or don’t want to use flash. If you have a baby and it is asleep in its crib, taking a picture with the phones flash can scare it and wake it up. The app is able to use minimum light available in the room to create a nice looking picture.

I tested Night Sight in my room and you can see the results below.

The 1st picture was taken with the standard camera on my phone with the flash turned off.
The only light in my room was from my laptop and monitor from my work desk. You can see that the picture is almost black and white with very bad colour quality.

The 2nd picture was taken with the Google Camera App on Night Sight mode in the same conditions (laptop and monitor turned on in the background).

Take a look at the 3rd picture. On this picture I am holding another phone in my left hand and taking a picture with my phones camera. The light conditions are poor and the overall quality is bad.

The last picture was taken on Night Sight with the Google Camera App. The overall quality is not spectacular but it is much better compared to the third picture. Take a look at the background and the colours on the TV and my laptop and compare those to the quality on picture #3.

Besides Night Sight the Google Camera also has a Panorama and Portrait option. I haven’t tested those yet. I might get around to do that later.

Feel free to share your own photos and compare them with the hardware camera on your phone, it might be fun to see your results here as well.

Enjoy!

I agree with the previous members who were chosen and have replied here. Once more information becomes available I will make a research about your project. For now I am interested in doing the translations. I would not like to be involved with social media posting or telegram moderation - not my area of interest. And I also expect some sort of guarantees and at least a minimum compensation if I am going to translate big documents like the WP.

Keep us posted.

12972  Economy / Services / Re: A Great New Project Need a UI Designer on: March 12, 2019, 11:30:42 AM
Meta is the wrong place for this.
You didn't mention in your post if your project is Bitcoin related or an Altcoin. Since you are looking for a service - a UI Designer, I suggest you move your thread to the Services section > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0.

Browse down to the end of the page and click on Move Topic and find the Services board from the list.
12973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: March 12, 2019, 11:24:30 AM
The 1/8 finals have been full of surprises so far, I am hoping that Juventus can show their quality tonight and overturn the bad result from the first leg. I don't like the idea that Bernardeschi is likely to play with Dybala being benched again. Berna has been so inconsistent and prefers dribbling and going through the defence instead of playing it smart and easy and actually pass the ball to a teammate.

It is going to be hard, I expect Juve - Atl 2:1 but I am hoping Juve - Atl 3:0  Roll Eyes

I tried to find the answer you are looking for in the source below but with no luck. Maybe you or another user can find it or know what you need to do to use the same address, if it is possible.

12975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transactions on: March 12, 2019, 10:43:50 AM
Just to confirm, the address - 15NgSxPvHToDCUYPrAbK3tiWhyE5czQ9Lf belongs to you? Are you also the one that initiated the transaction from your address 15NgSxPvHToDCUYPrAbK3tiWhyE5czQ9Lf to 1HRM7zk6bv4EPaVv34rR371jpoirfghUg4 on 2014-10-18 in the amount $1,521.84?

I am asking because if it wasn't you then someone else has access to your wallet.
About those unconfirmed transactions that were never credited to your wallet, did you initiate those, were you supposed to receive them or do you just see them as unconfirmed within your wallet?

Even though you are a soon to be Member when you get the required Activity levels and this thread is meant only for Newbies and Jr. Members I will merit you but from my personal bag.
The Merit pool for this thread will therefore stay at 16. I like that you post in Serious Discussion, I do as well when the topics add up a bit.

The issue with the merits is still puzzling me. The OP says
The account has 19 merits in total, so far. 9 of them are earned-merits.
I see 16 Merits and a total of 6 merits earned. Do you guys see 6 or 9?

12979  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Discloses Five Reported Vulnerabilities in Two Models of Trezor Hardware on: March 11, 2019, 07:29:48 PM
These are serious issues that seem to be present in Trezor devices. It is quite scary that they were able to create a clone of the exact same components and hardware as a genuine device and even backdoor it and extract the seed. This has still not been patched according to Ledger!

I know that the Ledger Nano S has a security system where you can check if your device and its hardware were tampered with but I wonder how safe we can feel after reading that they were able to make a clone of a Trezor wallet. Does Trezor offer a way to check their devices to make sure they are genuine?

Please read the rules about the needed activity levels and the deadline up until which date posts will be considered.

@Retina
I appreciate the effort, thank you for making that, looks great! Just to be fair to everyone else please submit 1-3 of your own posts first, i will gladly have a look at them.
If you don't mind I noticed some mistakes in your signature, here is a correction if you want to use it.
The for Improve your English should be replaced with to Improve your English. You are missing a free space between the 1st and 2nd sentence. And also it should be This Project is Managed by Jet Cash.

Sorry for being a grammar nazi, trying to help, that's all.

@hta
I will take a look at it later today when I have some free time.

@TeQuiero
Your activity needs to be 60 and+ for a Jr. Member but considering your post/activity to merit ratio it seems you are a good poster so I will make an exception and take a look at your post.
