12981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: May 20, 2018, 10:47:03 PM
Bitcoin does not have a ponzi scheme, although bitcoin has a limited amount, but so far bitcoin has grown and bitcoin has become part of the assets worth investing or holding. So there is no ponzi scheme on bitcoin.
12982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: May 20, 2018, 09:37:34 PM
No way, I believe even though crypto has a centralized regulations but crypto will not die. Because crypto usage can only do with the internet, so as long as the internet is still there and there's still a big country that supports crypto, I'm sure crypto will not die.
12983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: May 20, 2018, 09:26:58 PM
Bitcoin is a volatile coin. It has the characteristics of either rising in value or falling in value. Making the right choice as to when to buy is up to you to study the trend with which the value of bitcoin is heading towards. From there, you can decide on what to do. I think, the perfect time to buy is when the value of bitcoin has fallen. With this, you can purchase more bitcoin and hold for some time for it to rise in value so that you can sell and earn some profit. By doing so, you should also consider the risk involved because the coin is volatile. Per my view, the best time to buy is when the coin’s value is low.
When the value is low indeed the right time to buy, but there is no harm if you want to buy at high prices, but with a note you have to be patient longer. Because after all bitcoin has great potential in the future and is worth to hold.
12984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Steps Forward To Legalize Cryptocurrencies on: May 18, 2018, 11:06:41 PM
Ukraine is preparing draft legislation to legalize cryptocurrencies, according to a post by a member of the Ukrainian Parliament

The document notes that the legislation aims to create a “free and transparent” digital asset market in Ukraine, outlining rules for storing, using, and exchanging cryptocurrencies, digital tokens, and smart contracts at a state, entity, and individual level. It proposes regulatory measures for preventing the use of crypto for money laundering, terrorist financing, and other criminal activities.

I think it's a tremendous move if they can be consistent with the rules they make and in law. If they are committed, I'm sure crypto will be much improved. Preventing money laundering and preventing terrorist financing, it is a remarkable step.
12985  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to recover Blockchain wallet when all is lost. on: May 18, 2018, 09:29:52 PM
As far as I know if all access to login has been lost, it will no longer be able to login. At least you still remember the password, because identifier blockchain can still be found in email.
12986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 18, 2018, 09:16:34 PM
Previously I had predicted if bitcoin would soar this month, but hope did not arrive, yes I know it's still mid-month, but I still do not see any signs of bitcoin going to soar this month. Now I just hold and stay patient until bitcoin soar high in the future or at the end of the year.
12987  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: May 18, 2018, 08:31:59 PM
I recently stumbled upon a project called Algebraix and they brought up some really good points about data exploitation on their blog (https://medium.com/algebraix-data). So it brought me to ask the question: do we really care if our data is exploited?

With huge scandals like Facebook and Cambridge Analytica, this issue is brought into the lime light. I'm really curious if you guys care or not
There is a care and no, maybe some people will not care about their data on facebook for example. But some people are using facebook for personal interests and very private. I personally also really care about the data I save anywhere.
12988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 18, 2018, 06:11:51 PM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
Since bitcoin moves according to demand in the market, with we do bitcoin buying, then we are bitcoin proponents so bitcoin can have good value. Bitcoin continues to float, until bitcoin becomes a very valuable asset and very worthy to own and hold for the long term.
12989  Economy / Economics / Re: How bitcoin can help for working abroad specially OFW on: May 18, 2018, 06:03:06 PM
Bitcoin is a sure way for OFW's to earn some additional income. I have known a certain OFW whose into bitcoin. He's doing his postings for signature campaigns during his free time. Although he had already earn some, he'd never thought of the idea of leaving his present job. For him, bitcoin earnings were for additional income that can contribute more to the financial needs of his family back home.
Yes because focusing on both will be better for their finances, finding and collecting bitcoins does not have to leave a full time job owned. However bitcoin is helpful for whoever holds it.
12990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: May 18, 2018, 04:45:25 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?
Lol, I'm not going to gamble if I do not have enough money, because anyway if you gamble using your main money, then the likelihood of the result will be bad. So all this time I just play gambling if I have more money to spend in gambling. But if it happens to me, then I'll stop playing before I lose everything.
12991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop millionaires ( Your success stories ) on: May 18, 2018, 02:09:34 PM
I just decided to post about airdrops.. i know still lot of members are not trying it. so we can motivate new crypto members to do airdrops and earn good money. also help to promote those projects too.

My biggest airdrop was HYDRO project airdrop. it was worth $500 when it listed in exchange few weeks ago. but now its worth more than $3000. so still im holding it.
a one good airdrop can change your life. so try more and more airdrops daily to catch gems.
Wow congrats bro, so far I'm still not interested in airdrop program also bounty. But by reading your story, maybe I'll try it, because so far I've also seen a lot of people getting rich or getting a very good profit from that program, yes behind the negative feedback about scam programs and projects, but still there are those who do feasible to hold.
12992  Economy / Gambling / Re: New platform for sports betting is coming!!! on: May 14, 2018, 11:40:35 PM
What methods do you want to develop? I just wanted to advise and hope to make it look like an ever platform like directbet.eu. But I'll wait for more info, maybe I'll be interested. Good luck! Smiley
12993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can BTC reach 12$K? And how about the altcoins? on: May 14, 2018, 11:13:31 PM
Do you think BTC can reach $12K at the end of this month? If not, do you think when will it happen?
How about the Altcoins this month? Is it the time to invest? I really care about it. Thank you for your opinion.
To reach $12k at the end of this month I think the chance are still very high, so keep hold your bitcoin, because I expect the same thing too.
For altcoins, not everything has great potential, so keep doing research first to invest in altcoins.
12994  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange withdrawal fee comparison on: May 14, 2018, 09:56:04 PM
Wow! that's cool buddy. Thank you for creating this thread, personally and I'm sure too many users will check for a withdrawal fee on an exchange here. Thanks again, this thread has helped many people who are confused about the fees issues in an exchange.
12995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: May 14, 2018, 09:49:11 PM
The effect of gambling is very bad if you are unable to control your emotions after receiving a lot of loss. I have experience in that, after receiving a lot of losses then the emotions become increasing and try to stay patient, then we will be able to manage finances much better in the future.
12996  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Need Help!!!Be cheated in bitcointalk on: May 14, 2018, 08:18:15 PM
I see that user has changed his email address recently, quite suspiciously too, you can move this thread in the appropriate section as @KWH has given above. Hopefully your problem can be resolved quickly. Good luck
12997  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: May 14, 2018, 06:50:51 AM
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.
Managing the risks involved in investing in cryptocurrency, maybe you can do more research, such as joining their community on telegram etc., and then there you can ask something you can make as a reference to get clarity about their project. Maybe then you can avoid the scam. Stay cautious, and good luck!
12998  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: May 14, 2018, 06:33:49 AM
The rule that only accredited investors, which means people who are already wealthy, are allowed to participate in certain ICOs is senseless imo. It's like saying "YOU'RE NOT WEALTHY YET, SO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WEALTHY." Stupid society, with obsolete rules, we're living in.

Disclaimer: I'm not a US citizen, and I've not read that law
Moreover, not everyone who participates in an ICO are big investors and not all of them are rich. Remember, because the profit of investing can be seen from how much we plant, if the bigger money we grow, then we have a big chance to earn big profits and get rich, and vice versa. So yes everyone still has a great chance to be rich on crypto, because I have a friend who is not a rich man but with great care he sees great potential on ICO, then he can gain enormous profits from his huge investment as well as he does on at that time.
12999  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: May 12, 2018, 07:10:02 PM
I think that if you have the opportunity to keep your investments for a long time, you can buy bitcoins right now and forget about them for 2-3 years. However, right now there is a possibility that the price will break support at 8250 and continue falling to 7600. Therefore, I will consider buying in the area of 7600 or above 9100.
Yes in 2-3 years maybe bitcoin will have a much higher price from now or maybe faster. So for now, I think the market is still going down. So waiting to buy I guess a pretty good choice too. But if you believe bitcoin prices will have a high value in 2-3 years, then it's time to buy bitcoin.
13000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone gamble in race sports? on: May 12, 2018, 11:04:54 AM
As far as I know there are very few gambling platforms that provide racing bets, but for betting on horse races I think it can still be found easily. The least interest in racing betting I think that's the reason, because betting on casinos is more popular.
