1302  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [Beta] - the oldest working pyramid? on: January 30, 2014, 09:01:06 PM
One suggestion I had, was adding a feature/pool that benefits members that have deposited more recently. That would encourage people to keep depositing into the system. Or is this already implemented?

There are many that believe BTCChina was also participating in data manipulation and/or automated bots. I guess it would take one to know one  Tongue

1310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any btc offer sites that are easy and actually worth my time? on: January 28, 2014, 08:29:45 AM
I really don't know what the big idea is with affiliate links on forums. It's frowned upon and sometimes can get you banned. But in reality, links are a part of the internet and who cares of someone gets paid for the effort they put into advertising a service?

That being said, we put together a list of free Bitcoin sites @ http://www.bitcoinbarrel.com/free-bitcoins/

Silk road was a farce from the very beginning. Who would ever join a website whose first online advertisement is this:

What a horrible idea... I really doubt this was started by a guy in Texas.

1316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too Many Scammers on: January 25, 2014, 04:42:12 AM
I think the big problem is the Banks and Financial institutions, PayPal included, that reverse transactions caused by unauthorized account access. In reality, the person who was negligent in securing their account or the financial institution that was breached should be liable for the damages caused by the hacker. Or at the very least, a criminal case should be brought up against the perpetrator in question.

In ancient cultures and some European countries today, you would be the legal owner of the Money or coins because you paid/traded for them fair and square whilst the bank and the original account holders were negligent and the scammer committed fraud.

Instead, the OP has to foot the bill. It's a cruel world we live in...  Undecided

Happyscamp, I appreciate your thoughts on marketing.  I'll say that I have stamped an unorthodox brand on SwC.  It is nothing but a marketing layer, and I believe it has been effective.  The lulz are only effective with the bullets technical prowess of ST6.  It allows me to make videos like this:

Now let's all rejoice and get ready to turn on some cashouts & freerolls, ya?

Don't ever change Micon, we loved the first video.
