When that day comes there will no longer be a need for bounty hunters to promote the good projects and you will no longer get any rewards. Today is the "Wild West" early days of cryptocurrency and it is unlikely to last. I have no doubt that in the near future we will see things change and all those currently making money, bounty hunters, bounty managers and ICO ratings agencies will be out of a job.

What you say about Ethereum applys to all other coins to an even greater degree. 94% of the ICO's conducted in the last year were done on the Ethereum Platform. Of all the coins it has a stronger case of real world use than any other Coin, even Bitcoin. A lot of other coins claim to be technically better but none of them have a proven use case better than Ethereum. Ethereum remains the base currency for all those that invest in the development of Blockchain.

I tend to avoid platforms completely, most bounties on platforms are small with too many participants. I look for bounties that will make me the most money and those tend to be the ones that have less participants. Many people think that participating with a platform protects you from being scammed but I have been scammed by a bounty that was managed by a platform and they were no help in getting us our reward.

You can try ForkDelta which actually uses the same contracts as EtherDelta but has a better team maintaining the interface. An interesting anomoly with it is that orders you place on EtherDelta appear on ForkDelta but not the other way round. So even though ForkDelta gets much higher trading volumes than EtherDelta I continue to place my trades on EtherDelta so they appear on both Exchanges.

The question is do you want to learn just enough to get suckered or like the pros learn. Most of the video's are produced by companies in the binary options game (scam). Professional traders don't do binary options because it is a game for suckers. If you want the knowledge that lets pros make money you need to read a book. Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John J Murphy is the traders bible.

For me it is Ethereum. I sell my Ethereum on my prefered exchange and then transfer that money to my bank and then I can use my debit card to buy a cup of coffee. It would be nice if it was possible to pay directly with crypto but my preferred coffee shop only accepts traditional payment methods and VISA and Mastercard are resistant to allowing Crypto connected cards. Costs me $0.42 to sell my ETH, $0.30 to transfer the proceeds to my bank. Thats is why I usually will do about $100 as a minimum at any one time.

Your chances of losing or making money is more dependant on the artributes of the individual currencies rather than their rank by marketcap. Almost all the coins are trading on what they may eventually accomplish rather than a valuation on what they worth right now. You should not be the least surprised that in 6 months half the coins in the top 100 are no longer there and have been replaced by other coins.

Not everyone who believes in cryptocurrencies comes at it from the perspective of some young naive novice. I have spent 25 years investing other peoples money for a living and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt cryptocurrencies and the blockchain will one day supplant all the Hedge Funds, Fund Managers , Banks and Insurance Companies.

I disagree, I would not want some third party deciding who gets to list their ICO's on bitcointalk. I think the current rules they have work just fine. As an investor it is up to you to do your own due diligence on the ICO's prior to investing. If you see an ICO you are considering investing in check the "Scam" section of Bitcointalk to see if anyone has found any issues with the ICO.
