1301  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 05, 2019, 05:47:55 PM
I have a simple question to ask from the crytotalk forum and yobit admins that what is the purpose of not refilling the wallets and also not stating the reasons ?  I do not know it the wallets be refilled or not but think in the yobit prospective, It will only damage the yobit reputation, nothing more.

You stop the wallet withdrawals, people start complaining, yobit and crytotalk fourm name is badly spoken and then suddenly they topup wallets , that will not restore their reputation. It seems that they have stopped the campaign and now getting free advertisements for as long as they can continue this.

1302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phishy Merit! on: December 03, 2019, 04:05:17 PM
<...>
They are correct. They are sent from the Forum for participating in the post Caption thingy ...

See: Caption results

<...> Thanks to everyone who participated! If you voted in this event, you received 1 merit; if your caption appeared in the first table above, you also received 10, and if your caption appeared only in the second table above, you also received 2.

I also got that merit but didn't have any clue from where that came that but now i know the real story. Its seems that everyone is being merited either he participated in the  drawing contest or caption activity.  Smiley
1303  Other / Meta / Re: Bumps ..... are limited to once per 24 hours on: December 03, 2019, 02:41:09 PM
I see he was online today but no post which is unusual I guess for user like GP. Do we have any news? :-D

Being active and not posting very likely means a ban, at least in the case of GP who we know couldn't possibly resist trolling. He can still log in if he's banned, and last active timestamp would get updated.

In case he makes a new account and start trolling, that will be a ban evasion leading to permanent ban. The options are limited for GP.

Is there any way we can know for how long is the ban ?

1305  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] FREE Daily Raffles >>> FREE Mega Raffle on: December 01, 2019, 04:12:09 PM
I am watching this thread for few days and try to participate but always miss it. The entries get filled as soon as they are announced. I keep refreshing the page to see if the contest started when i am online.

Any better way to know when it starts ?
1306  Other / Meta / Re: My journey from Newbie to Member on: December 01, 2019, 04:02:18 PM
Congratulations on your Journey to Member.
I see you have enough activity to Full Member.
Your next journey is go to Full Member.

Good Luck dude.

At least there is someone who understand me, Thank you buddy but i don't want to be a full-member, i request everyone do not merit me, because so many peoples thinks i'm greedy for merits

I am sorry but your wish of not getting merits cannot be fulfilled on the basis that you say that you don't need merits. You need to post bad and spam in the forum if you want that no one will merit you. But if you post good, you will get the merits. The choice is again yours, you want merits or not.  Wink
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: December 01, 2019, 03:37:47 PM
Nothing. I expect nothing but further dumps if it would happen. Christmas season is the time where people need to buy gifts and they might withdraw some of their holdings that may have negative pressure on the prices. If however that would not happen, I still do expect dumps by manipulators in anticipation of the next bitcoin halving. So your real "Christmas" might be months after the halving.
i agree maybe the gift we will receive this Christmas is the chance to buy bitcoin at a low price to gain profit in the next few months.

The Holder of bitcoin will demand from Santa Claus to increase the price of bitcoins and the new buyers will demand the price of bitcoin to be decreased so that they may buy cheap bitcoins. What will Santa Claus do in this situation ?  Cheesy
1308  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dont trust the user localxe [details added] on: December 01, 2019, 03:12:03 PM

I have changed my tag to neutral feedback. It does not matter if we work together or not the feedback will stay until I am satisfied with your business conducting procedures. I can not guarantee any time frame for this and you can not push me for that as well.

And for any kind of offer and stuffs you are thinking about in the forum, will be conducted either with an escrow or me holding the fund from you prior.

I really hope your business delivers that you are promising.

Cheers,

Edit: Thanks everyone who stepped in here and will be stepping in as well. I will lock the topic in the next 24 hours.

It is clear that localxe is guilty here and if he pays 50$ only then his position will be clean. But i do not understand one thing which i highlighted above.
After clearing the dues, If he want to do any further business with any member of the forum, why would you be holding the funds in advance. It should be between him, the other person and the escrow provider.
1309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: December 01, 2019, 12:04:23 PM
An insider with his ear on the tracks, whispered to me this:

The next much anticipated halving event will be a dud. There will not be a parabolic push up in price. It will steadily move sideways in the 5,000 range with low volatilty. Baffling everyone and flattening peoples interest in bitcoin. Meanwhile people will start buying and trading alts again and stablecoins will see a significant rise in popularity especially with big corporations.

So much for making big gains from the next Bitcoin halving event. You are all shit out of luck?

As more and more people will have bitcoins the volatility will decrease and prices will be stable but this could not happen within 2 - 3 years. Bitcoin is still in its early years where only a few people have bitcoins with them and therefore this halving will produce the similar results as happened in 2017.

1312  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 01, 2019, 06:46:47 AM
is possible to join the signature campaign if i have negative trust?

You are a Jr Member and you are not allowed to join and trust doesn't matter in your case.
If you read few posts above yours, you could have easily seen the same is being discussed, but as always people like you never read.  Angry
1313  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 01, 2019, 05:41:16 AM
Compromised profile jackflag (Reference)
Added to the list of banned.

I have decided that users need to be held accountable for their actions, so when they sign up for this campaign that clearly states sr member and higher only may join, they will be tagged with the below statement

Taking advantage of auto sign up for cryptotalk campaign, not reading rules and applying when they know they don't qualify.

How do you other DT members feel about this sort of tag? They are basically stealing from a site and know they are not allowed. Yes they get nuked from the campaign within a day but that hasn't deterred 50 of them from trying.

If there are alot of disagreements with the tag then I may have to think of another way to deter them. Opinions welcome. So far only 3 that applied today have the tag. If the majority agrees this is appropriate, then I have no issues tagging the rest who joined the campaign earlier.

I do agree that most people know that they will get paid even if they are not Sr Members Above, but they apply just to collect few pennies. Those who do not know, when they read this post, they will also try to enroll but this also include those who by mistake apply by not reading the rules properly, those do not deserve the tag.

What you can do is to PM the user who got some earnings due to wrong rank and ask him to return that amount to you in say about 5 days. If he does not return, he is a scammer and should be tag and if he does return, it was by mistake.

I think this is the only way to be fair.

Who will be the Winner for Euro 2020 ?

1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 30, 2019, 08:03:31 AM
Less than a week to go for the first T20 between India and West Indies, which will take place in Hyderabad. Spectators will be missing big names such as Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, but given the advantage WI possess in this format we may be in for some fireworks. But their recent form worries me, as they lost a T20 series against Afghanistan this month.

It been quite a while that there is any international T20 match.
Regarding the Match between India and West Indies, it look like India will dominate as they have been playing superb cricket in all the departments and forms of cricket. West Indies moral will be extremely down with the loss against Afghanistan in their recent series.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: November 29, 2019, 07:22:47 PM
Don't gamble.

That's it. You'll never have a losing bet if you don't gamble.

At this point you may feel cheated by the title of this thread, and wondering why this is in Gambling Discussion, and perhaps why I'm wearing a signature of a gambling site if I'm advocating for not gambling. Except I'm not really advocating that, just saying that if you don't want to lose you shouldn't gamble. Feel free to gamble if you accept the fact that you are going to lose. Gambling is entertainment and like many other forms of entertainment it costs money and can be addictive.

Your words and your signature does not match. If you think that gambling will lose money, think of how many people will lose their money when they play gambling while clicking on the your signature link. If you think gambling is too much bad then you should first quit gambling and the gambling signatures before giving advice to others.
1317  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IDAX is it SCAM? on: November 29, 2019, 04:55:30 PM
[...] I was just thinking that  IDAX was a decentralized exchange so how can they scam when everyone have control over their private key in decentralized exchange ? Is it so ?

You're thinking of IDEX (with an E, not IDAX with an A)...

Oh so Idax and Idex are two different exchanges, I have the IDEX exchange in mind when i saw this post.  These two names are too much similar that anyone can get confused who did not know that IDAX exchange even exists.
1318  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IDAX is it SCAM? on: November 29, 2019, 04:33:08 PM
The IDAX Exchange's CEO evacuated the company, took away the cold wallet and disappeared. No one can contact the boss even the employees of the company.
Sadly I have some APL left in there and still on pending withdrawal.

I was just thinking that  IDAX was a decentralized exchange so how can they scam when everyone have control over their private key in decentralized exchange ? Is it so ?
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 29, 2019, 02:42:38 PM
I did experiment every online gambling site I've tried looking if there is a pattern to it. I know that is stupid but hear me out. My friend told me that these online gambling sites have a pattern and so I did try it. The pattern he is talking about is not how the number roll or the result comes, I told him this and he just burst out lauhing, he never told me what is that pattern though.

There is no pattern in any gambling site and everything is random. If there were winning pattern identified in the gambling sites then everyone will win from these sites which is surely not possible. In the good gambling sites you can check the house edges and there is no way anything can be known prior to placing a bet.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2019, 06:32:08 PM
if there are other young talents then you need to give them opportunities too and if they are performing well then he will have a slot and if not they will get replaced eventually.
There is a huge pool of talents in India right now and it is a big competition to get in the team and have a permanent position as the bench strength is really huge and if you are not performing or failing for a few matches then there are people waiting to take your position, the only vacant position in the team right now is to find a suitable replacement for Dhoni and it is hard to replace a talent like that i doubt we will see another wicket keeper like him ever again.

Do you think having a lot of talent sometimes is not good for a team in the long run ? If the good players are not able to make the position in the team because of even more good players, then this will ruin the career of those players who are not able to make place in the team despite being well talented.
Also it will put extra pressure on the players because if they fail to perform, they will be immediately replaced.
