1301  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Yossi Nagy Moti - Cryptovirology and Bitcoin on: January 26, 2014, 01:55:52 AM

^I just found this talk by Adam Young, he's the Co-Author of "Malicious Cryptography: Exposing Cryptovirology" with Moti Yung. The above video seems to be the same talk as the one OP(quoted below) feat. Moti but in cleaner english. Very interesting stuff

Im confused...

So are we using another company to make a 55nm chip while we wait on eASIC's 28nm full custom? or is the 55nm from eASIC?
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your favorite trading tools ? on: January 20, 2014, 09:07:08 PM
For my other vote, one of my favorite tools is the % volume oscillator!

Also exclusively to Bitcoin is this indicator: https://blockchain.info/charts/n-unique-addresses?timespan=1year&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=

^Number of unique addresses used. It follows the "bubbles" pretty closely and it's telling me that we are still in a lull period

1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 20, 2014, 08:54:20 PM
Triple top is now a quadruple top, im expecting a downturn as well. We aren't ready for another exponential rise yet, Overstock news etc. has already been priced in at $1000 coin
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POLL: Which coin should BTC-E add next? on: January 20, 2014, 05:39:23 PM
Voted for Quark.

Very unique coin in terms of mining algorithm, secure and fast. Probably my favorite altcoin!
1306  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 15, 2014, 10:59:57 PM
It sounds like everyone has a personal choice in either CC or CT, no sense arguing about what the company should offer us...
If it will be possible to send colored coins to exchanges in the future, I would be leaning towards CC

Ken, would it be possible to have shares split between the two?
1307  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 10, 2014, 03:47:01 AM
This eASIC press release is proof that we are not being scammed:

http://www.easic.com/vmc-uses-easic-to-achieve-24-756-ths-bitcoin-miner/

Boards are being redesigned and Ken still owes us all 25,000 BTC before he takes a profit. When shares start trading and big divs start rolling in our share price will hit new all time highs. Just calm down, have some patience and let the man do his work. We have enough liquid cash to keep this this going and it's in the best interest of the shareholders to keep working on the company with that money (instead of doing a share buyback which some have suggested). As much as I didn't like what I heard this recent update was fine by me as we are finally seeing some transparency and honesty

Please explain openly how that news release is "proof"?  Most shareholders at this point would disagree with this old assumption.

Third party validation of our claims as a company, simple as that. eASIC is a reputable company and they are backing us. Labcoin had nothing but in-house engineers

1309  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 03:27:14 AM
Ken was being tricky/smart with his words, he didn't say anything about shipping miners. So many assumptions are going on here and theres nothing you can legally do to Ken for keeping quiet about what's going on behind the scenes...

Are any of you "shareholders" living in the US? Again, I wish you goodluck
1310  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 03:12:57 AM

Not Gerald Slaughter, this is a troll.

Apparently Milky missed my rant last week bitching at Ken for more info

But honestly, this is the dumbest shit I've ever heard - suing the company for having problems and delays? This is risky stuff, deal with it. Don't be mad because Ken didn't make you rich as quick as you would've liked. As unhappy as I am with this company if shares were trading right now I would probably be buying more
1311  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 03:04:44 AM
Because me and family took a shit (literally) on all the equipment, its ruined now and we need to spend more of your money on rebuilding everything Sad so sorry, we got pretty drunk this Christmas
1312  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 02:12:01 AM

Is your name Gerald by any chance?

Yes my name is Gerald Slaughter. That prediction I made was based on everything being on schedule (obviously). But hey I wasnt wrong, there is no share price and none of you even have shares.

Goodluck idiots, you're only hurting yourselves here
1313  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 02:07:25 AM
Lol none of you could even prove that you have shares. You're also assuming that Ken has ran away with your money (if he did we would all be fucked anyway because no one can prove ownership of their shares)

One of you twelve year olds needs to outline a plan here
1314  Economy / Securities / Re: Should ActM shareholders try and get a lawsuit going? on: January 10, 2014, 01:34:39 AM
What would the lawsuit be for? Having unexpected delays? You people are morons
We're dealing with very risky unregulated securities here, there are no rules and this would be damaging to yourself
1315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2014, 01:14:47 AM
Wow I can breathe now! what a ride that was  Shocked
1316  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 05, 2014, 07:57:31 PM
I'm not buying any short answers

You don't need to:

19days ago-
Sorry for the delay in getting Crypto-Trade up and running.  I am still working on some legal aspects of the tender offer.

vvv

Weekly Update 12/18/13

Crypto-Trade:

I have all of the legal issues worked out, and I am programming them into the verification site.

VMC:

We are working with eASIC and our engineers to get our chip and boards in full production.

We have stock piled all the hardware to build the miners and we are per-assembling the miners.
1317  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 04, 2014, 11:00:53 PM
So, we have vaporware, no dividends, no shares, no mining, no updates, is this a good summary of the situation here?

Close we have updates but with very little information and no updates related to the shares for 2 weeks.

Mining is occurring at this address https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?timespan=30days&showDataPoints=true&daysAverageString=1&show_header=true&scale=0&address=1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa, but we don't have confirmation of an eAsic chips mining.

Also please don't call eAsic, our contact point is Ken and we should not be bothering eAsic about the business agreement we made with Ken.

50 coins, that's 0.000002 BTC per share, right?

Yes, the amount should be alot more though. There were dividends flowing into that address from "sample chips" but thats not happening anymore. Ken needs to clarify what's going on because at this point we have to assume he is stealing from us.
1318  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 04, 2014, 10:37:04 PM
Ken -If we cant trade our shares for legal reasons or whatever, tell us! Dont blatantly lie about it just to cool everybody down. Give us the dividends you owe to us to our Bitfunder addresses. You don't own those Bitcoins, we do. December 1st you were going to do this until the whole crypto-trade situation came up.

Broken promises are piling up and you're making people angry. Please give us the answers we would like to hear, we aren't stupid. Having a "weekly update" and then providing us with nothing substantial in those updates is only going to make shareholders pissed off (obviously). If you can't tell us info about chips because of an NDA, then let us know. If we can't trade our shares due to legal reasons or your own personal reasons then let us know, dont break promises and expect everything to be rosy. Even in the worst case scenario transparency would do a lot better than silence.

I agree we should not be calling eASIC. But calling Ken in mass might be our only option for answers right now. Again, VMC'S number is (855) 663-2482
1319  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 04, 2014, 08:02:16 PM
Provide an image.

I'm absolutely certain that would be a restricted image under the NDA. 100% sure.

Edit - thefunkybits reported.

lol you're one of those people that would let strangers come in to your house and give them the benefit of the doubt until everything is gone, keep up the cheerleading you faggot

To be clear I'm not threatening the man, I'm not a violent person in the least. I'm simply saying that there are alot of people who he owes money to and by not providing us information or any signs as to when the money will be returned he is putting him and his families safety in jeopardy. What the fuck is going to put this man's ass in gear to address the shareholder's needs
1320  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 04, 2014, 07:42:20 PM
I had a dream last night that the first "product" we had shipped to customers just turned out to be complimentary bags of salt. For all intents and purposes this could very well be what has happened. Ken needs to show us something to prove that he has shipped mining equipment to customers. We need to see pictures of the chips. We need to see mining dividends from sample chips deposited to our mining address (WHAT THE FUCK even happened to that Ken?). Lastly LET US TRADE OUR FUCKING SHARES, you have made a promise that you havent kept (this is the worst part about it). All you cheerleaders need to pull your heads out of your asses, this man needs to get his shit together. Weekly updates are appreciated, but please GIVE US THE INFORMATION WE ALL WANT TO HAVE, even if it's bad news. Don't pussyfoot around the situation and pretend were all a bunch of monkey idiots. The only reason this company is still a topic of conversation is because of eASIC, NOTHING Ken has done has shown me that he is capable of doing anything properly (prove me wrong Ken)

Here's an idea: All concerned shareholders give Ken a call next week during Regular business hours and let him know in person what needs to be done. Because this is bullshit. We are the reason you have a company in the first place and YOU OWE US A LOT OF FUCKING MONEY. 25,000 BTC to be exact, goodluck with that

Ken can be reached at (855) 663-2482, maybe a barrage of phone calls and messages will stress the shareholders needs to this company a bit better than stupid forum banter
