I very much agree with this. The reason why Barca is pushing because they want to make their financial position better. And with Barcelona having financial problems, it is possible that they might have problem giving him better contract or at worse unable to pay him wages in full. De Jong currently at this point can't have both - to pay for the club and take the usual wages. He has to choose one. Yes he has right to make personal decisions but someday in future if situation remains the same then he has to make a decision then also.

Still I think Barca is kinda putting veil on some things with their financial situation. They want him to reduce his wages but can make world class signings? That's kinda put some questions. I am not so sure how much they are paying to the new signings but these new signings will for sure will be still putting a good amount of load in wages.

Yeah club talks are positive and all completed. What left is now is personal terms with the player and this will be completed very soon. Zincheno is a great left back and with Tierney struggling with injuries and we not having a proper option (Nuno Tavares) we needed a good signing. Arsenal is smart in keeping tabs on City interests. For example, Jesus about to leave City- signed him, City interested in Cucurella - so sign the player in that position Zinchenko. If this completed, it is very likely that Nuno Tavares might leave maybe on loan or a permanent move which depends on what Arteta thinks whether he can use him again in future or not.

Yeah Lewandowski to Barcelona is reported as done deal now by many good sources on twitter, so its just matter of time before he becomes Barcelona player officially. The reason they are signing so many players is because this time they have to play CL as well and they want to be ready for it. I feel that it is a smart decision as playing league games and CL games make things kind of hectic for clubs and to have dense squad plays a huge advantage in such kind of situations. Conte has really transformed Spurs last season and I am excited to see what comes next.

Yeah given their dense squad they are very likely to win the next season too but you can't rule out the likes of teams like Liverpool and Spurs this season. I feel like the contest is gonna be a close one this season so not entirely sure about City winning PL again in this upcoming season. Lot of big clubs have made signings and they have good managers to lead them this season.

Not sure but maybe the team and player had some kind of disagreement and hence decided to terminate contract earlier. We can speculate all we want but we won't know what went behind the scenes until Mesut Ozil comes out and discloses it. But I am sure that Ozil and Fenerbahce must have an disagreement of some sorts otherwise he wouldn't have moved to a rival team.

Honestly Liverpool didn't pushed much and Liverpool lineup at defense was quite loose and made too many errors and United got the upper hand there. Despite that United's attack was good but still lot of work need to be done before them to be considered as serious contender for title race. I think they can work without Ronaldo but having Ronaldo will really benefit them. He can perform when team needs him but that also comes with a cost where players like Rashford and Martial loses regular playing time.

There are now multiple sources confirming Raphinha to Barcelona is done deal. However last Romano reported was that Leeds are still waiting for them to make official bid as they verbally have met the expected tag that Leeds are hoping for in order to allow Raphinha to leave. It will be a very great signing for Barcelona as they will get a good winger who can really become a problem for opponents.

Wow that's an interesting fact but well then again I haven't seen much of any notable signings from Wolves but another interesting thing to note is that despite that they still are one of the scariest underdogs in PL. I agree^^. He is good at wing and there is no need to just put him into striking. Its not like Madrid needs a striker urgently so there is no need to start experimenting with Vinicius now. Also Madrid does needs a good winger. There is't a proper effective winger after Vinicius. Hazard can play but he is out of form so right now Vinicius position is fixed.

Yeah signing both will really make things hard for Barcelona.

Kane replacing Lewandowski is just fake rumor. With Spurs performing great last season, Kane is really crucial for Spurs right now as they have CL and have to perform in PL as well. Kane is their main striker who is helping them in attacks so I am sure that Spurs have no plans to sell him. Besides if they were to consider selling him, a club need to make a very good bid to sign Kane.

Lewandowski is important to Bayern and know Barca's situation so maybe they want to keep Barca in tough spot and end their interest in the player. Right now Raphinha to Barca is close with Leeds asking above 65m and Barca is reported to have made a verbal bid of 72m so this could end well if Barca matches the bid. Its either gonna be Lewandowski or Raphinha, I don't think Barca has the financial capability to complete both deals.

Yeah City always thinks like that. They are smart in choosing right players in the market and develop them. Yeah Sterling is a legend, although I wasn't much impressed with Sterling in last two seasons but if I see his whole career then yeah he has been phenomenal. BTW its his move to third PL giant, who knows whats next..

Yeah I have read rumors about that and I think it will be a very good signing for Arsenal but Kante is also main man for Chelsea. It won't be easy but maybe easy next year when his contract ends. Chelsea has lost lot of players when they didn't offered their defenders contract extensions or meet their demands so maybe Arsenal have chance there but I don't think Chelsea will make this mistake twice.

Pep experiments a lot with players and positions. For example there is Bernardo Silva with which he has experimented him at different positions. Foden is a talented young player and he can really become a great player. With Sterling's departure I think he might be getting more chances now. He can easily fill the void left over by Sterling. Alvarez is another young player to look after in City this season.

He is happy at Spurs right now under Conte so I don't think he is gonna move away from the club. Besides 2024 means he has 2 years on his contract and that's a lot of time so I don't think this rumor is true. Its not gonna happen in this window as Spurs need him for the CL and PL this season and he his main man in Conte's plan so I am sure he is gonna stay at Spurs for a season at least.
