1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 21, 2011, 04:34:11 PM
LOL  Cheesy Cheesy Now Litecoin finds itself in the same predicament that Solidcoin had to solve to fend off malicious attackers. It's going to be very interesting seeing how Coblee fixes this "bug" in the protocol.
HENCE THE ENTIRE DILEMMA  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.
You can't even tell the difference between a (small) transaction fee (=given back to miners) and a (huge) king tax (=kept by the magic fairy of everythingisfineland)... just go run the TaxCoin logo design contest or something.
LOL

Edit:
You don't even understand the problem that Litecoin is currently facing. Don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, when the exact thing happened with the very coin you're telling me to go back to.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 21, 2011, 04:07:59 PM
Litecoin is using the exact same solution as Bitcoin, AFAIK, the only difference being the coin values have been increased to match real-world values.

Then why are we wasting time talking about how to fix it?  Maybe I jumped in the middle of something without realizing what was really being discussed.
HENCE THE ENTIRE DILEMMA  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.

Can we still try to claim solidcoins that were deposited to mooncoin?  I'm finally getting around to thinking about that... heh  Am I too late?

It really depends if you are on Coinhunter's good side or bad side.
RS Ahimoth has and will give you the Solidcoins. The money comes from the CPF fund.

Here is the thread

Didn't sell at 32, not selling now. I would also rather lose it all than sell at current prices.

If it rose to 32 tomorrow, I would still not sell.

Simply because I want bitcoins, not other fiat money.
So do you do all your business purely in BTC?
1305  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Uberman Sleep Schedule and Me on: November 21, 2011, 02:22:47 PM
If you get to tired make sure to get some real sleep.
's not how it works. You get really exhausted, forcing your body into the different mode of sleeping. This is really rough for a week. If you maintain it though, you get to do it without the effort.
Well I was referring to the fact that he can have cardiac arrest if he try's to push himself to stay awake, which CAN happen. Especially if a bunch of stupid people on the Internet are egging him on in the form of "bets" to do it.

I'm pretty sure everyone told him to fucking stop. He's the one wanting to do it.

Also, a 17 year old having a cardiac arrest is highly unlikely. If he was 60 I'd say "don't do it man".
True, maybe I just shouldn't care about people huh?

You're reading too much into what I'm saying. We're on the same page idiot.
And I think you're reading "to little" into the entire situation.

I feel this "moving of the thread" to another category is just plain rude. Also I believe I've robbed mods of their time to move this thread. Maybe like 2 minutes of their life? how do I return 2 minutes of the mods life back to them?
I agree this is not "off-topic"... Typical BTCTalk.

If you like pixel art, the user Mushroomized is a good artist and is on this forum.
He better watch out for MUSH though, he is a SOLIDCOIN supporter you know!  Wink

1309  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEWS! Bitcoin Technical Analysis on: November 21, 2011, 01:43:33 PM
The irony about it is: The daily non-speculative demand for bitcoins is probably below (!) 7200 coins a day (right now)
So the answer to the problems caused by excessive hoarding is more hoarding?

Are you guys going to stand on mainstreet handing out bitcoin flyers to create demand? What else you gonna do? 'Oh btw, you want this, I have some but I'm not gonna give it to you..'

I would feel very much trolled...
Based on the conversations that I have had with many intelligent people in this community.

They are building applications that will make Bitcoins do things that would simply be impossible with traditional Fiat currency.

We build demand by doing what we know how to do best and that's BUILD! We all do it in different forms, whether it's building a business or building a program, everything has a process!

1311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you trading for FIAT or BTC profit? on: November 21, 2011, 01:30:30 PM
The people trading bitcoins and usd back and forth might be in it to make more bitcoins, but there are definitely people earning large sums of bitcoins that want to get fiat. People who have huge mining farms, they need fiat to pay their electric bills. People running the large pools. People running the large exchanges. Basically anybody who gets their entire income in bitcoin, they need to exchange to fiat to buy most things they need (bills, groceries, rent, gas, movie tickets, hookers, whatever).
Hookers you can get in BTC  Cheesy.
1312  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEWS! Bitcoin Technical Analysis on: November 21, 2011, 01:28:38 PM
I'd rather lose everything than give coins to people for such a cheap price.

Amen.

Amen

Famous last words?

I'll call your bluff.
I seriously don't think the markets going any lower than this... I think everyone who was going to loose money lost it, and the few who have made money are probably in some resort somewhere.

That being said, I am kinda happy these people are gone because now the real test begins...
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Mined 3 BTC, now how to cash out? on: November 21, 2011, 01:12:00 PM
I'll sell you one of my shirts for 3 BTC. http://bitcoincloset.com

Send me the link to what shirt you want, and I will send you the Bitcoin address for you to put into your deepbit account.

Better than $6.66 you will get at current market prices Smiley.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 21, 2011, 12:33:15 PM
Not good idea. Send many is very useful and needed. You are sounding more and more like RealScam with these demonic measures and frequent client updates ( remember SC beta 5 then 6 then 7 all in like 1 hour ? ). Let the miners decide if the chain is bloated and the TX fees. Maybe coblee is RS Shocked. Kind of makes sense : you control the biggest competitor to SC and get all the market for altcoins by yourself.

If you get to tired make sure to get some real sleep.

I am dead serious, last thing we need is for you to die from exhaustion.

BTW: Atlas you need to get a girlfriend bro, I mean that shit with all seriousness.

EDIT: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1393166

"Exhaustion as precursor of cardiac death."

University of Limburg, Department of Medical Psychology,Maastricht, The Netherlands.

Abstract
Excess fatigue is the most prevalent precursor of sudden cardiac death. This state may reflect prolonged tension or heart disease. In order to test the first explanation a prospective study was done among 3365 males, aged 45-59 years. This cohort was followed during an average period of 9.5 years. Exhaustion was assessed by the statement: 'At the end of the day I am completely exhausted mentally and physically'. Among those free of coronary heart disease at the beginning, 69 subjects died because of myocardial infarction. Data were analysed using Cox's regression analysis. The results showed a highly significant interaction between duration of follow-up and exhaustion upon the risk of cardiac death. The hazard ratios for exhaustion were 8.96, 6.33, 4.47 and 3.16 for the first 10, 20, 30 and 40 months of follow-up respectively. Thereafter the association between exhaustion and cardiac death is no more significant. It is argued that exhaustion before cardiac death does not reflect manifest heart disease but that an interaction between prolonged tension and subclinical levels of ischaemia may increase the risk of cardiac death."

EDIT2: You are not a bad looking kid, get off the computer, and go talk to some people who don't have a stupid avatar next to their name. If you have ever listened to anyone in your life you will listen to me now and just shut off the monitor for a few weeks. Come back with a clear mind, and pwn these noobs.

EDIT3: Leave your mining rigs on Tongue.

We should not be focused on selling dried "bit-berries"...

Umm hello? We already are doing that. We're just making fun of the dustberry producing idiots in our break time.
