1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 30, 2022, 06:56:01 AM
Anyway..  I have a feeling Leclerc wins the Aussie GP.
It depends on the layout of the track,Ferrari was winning in the technical part of the track while on the top speed parts Redbull completely crashed it and it was just for the bravery of Verstappen that he won the race.Perez has a lot to offer I think but he needs just a bit more time, maybe he was "drunk" from the success of being the first Mexican to ever get Pole position in F1.I think the layout of the Australian GP offers both technical parts and both top speed parts,DRS should play an important role here also and I think from what I have seen in the first two races the win will be either a Ferrari or a Redbull.
This is basically red bull vs mercedes reversed for red bull Cheesy They are doing better on the straights right now which mercedes was beating them last year, but they are worse in the turning points which they were beating mercedes last year. In this case, Ferrari will have a slight better advantage if you ask me because there are a few very sharp corners in aussie track.

The first one is not bad but the second one and the one before the pitlane entry are very sharp and if they have to do like an "almost full stop" turn like we do in the f1 games, then they will certainly face a lot of trouble from Ferrari. It's cool to see the next generation facing each other, these two could dominate the next 10 years of F1 together, an amazing rivalry is getting born.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 30, 2022, 05:48:52 AM
Laporta has confirmed today that contract negotiations with both Gavi and Araujo are progressing well. Barcelona's financial issues are well known already but both youngsters will extend soon.

They would like to extend with Dembele as well, he has a great relationship with Xavi and has played well recently - but PSG will probably offer him better terms than Barca can. He is a great gamble on a free transfer and PSG is already making room for him there - with Di Maria being allowed to leave in the summer.
I would guess that Araujo would stay, no idea about Gavi but he could probably stay as well but Dembele will certainly leave. Not only PSG will lose Di Maria after this season, they will also lose Mbappe as well, we all know this. It means that getting dembele is very important for them, and they will look to sign even a bigger name, but until that happens they need to get someone and they are getting a HUGE salary space after Mbappe leaves and even di maria as well. They could spend 2x more than what Barcelona can offer to Dembele and they would be easily signing him. Who the next big name PSG will get is still a big question mark.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 29, 2022, 08:26:08 PM
There are still 9 games left before Ligue 1 officially ends, apart from Marselle, Rennes and Nice, we also have Strasbourg there, they are only 5 points away from Marseille and with 9 games to go, I think it still makes sense that they have a chance to win. are in second place in the Ligue 1 standings at the end of the season. And as you said it is Marseille who has the greatest chance of finishing second, but let's see how it ends.
It would be a good fight for the second position, but also a bit boring to know that PSG is already the winners. I mean even the team that finishes second will not do much in the European competitions neither, so it makes no difference.

If it was about the team finishing higher up getting better and better, that would have been Lille. They finished champions last year and instead of getting better, they took that chance and sold some of their players for above what they really worth, all due to championship title, and made some money off that success and they are terrible right now all over again. If you are not going to get better, then becoming second means nothing.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is behind shiba inu on: March 29, 2022, 07:21:31 PM
I think there is a huge man behind this project.... how about your thoughts?
Of course, projects like Shiba are not without market makers and large investments. I don't know how much it costs to list a coin on Binance, but I think it costs more than one million dollars. The success of Shiba, unlike other meme-coins, is only because people invest in it, invest in its popularization, pay money to Influencers, exchanges and other resources to make this token discussed and popular in the crypto industry. Money solves everything. Without money, advertising, and support, it would just be an ordinary token that nobody needs.
270 bitcoins give or take but depends on your situation as well. If you are getting a good amount of volume, they would be willing to let that go. Just recently there was another memecoin which I will not name, it's pure scam by the creators and I have to say that Binance listed them pretty quickly. Why? Because we have seen them getting a HUGE amount of volume.

That means Binance probably didn't even get paid for it at all. That's like over half of what binance lists. If we are talking about a bit of a smaller projects, the ones that are not guaranteed to succeed but doesn't look too bad then it is 270 bitcoins. The ones that are just plainly bad won't even get listed for 1000 bitcoins.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about gaming and metaverse on: March 29, 2022, 01:50:31 PM
Almost all metaverse projects are not completed yet they are base on hype and beta state, I will be more excited if atleast one metaverse project is up and running fully but for now I'm not interested in them for long term.
true not yet completed and most of them are on beta test. Actually i have interest in metaverse as well at first because of being so popular than other new features in the space and i know there's a good return in it for long term since most investors nowadays keep looking for such stuff when it comes investment, but suddenly play2 earn really get my attention TBH as its more profitable at the moment and very active than metaverse games.  Maybe soon when it comes fully developed, surely it will become morr interesting IMO.
Those "beta" ones may end up not getting completed in the long run as well. People are not aware of this but there are too many projects who are using people's money to just keep talking about how awesome of a game they will build, then keep on getting more and more investments, seeds, launchpad releases and many other things and then they keep giving people small by small improvements constantly to make sure that people do not sue them and think they are working.

In the end, if you get millions of dollars from investment then it should not take you that long to build a game, if you are taking months to provide even the simplest thing, then you are a scam.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the impacts of Digital Dollar on cryptos such as Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2022, 08:47:01 PM
Absolutely zero effect. Digital dollar has existed for decades, doing transactions via the Internet, ATMs, payment cards is exactly that. From a fundamental perspective, there's nothing revolutionary about creating another digital fiat payment method, even if it "runs on blockchain" or is a central bank digital currency. It's not competing with Bitcoin in any new way.
There is a difference between the fiat money that you hold in your hands that you could put into your bank account and call it a digital money versus the money that you end up with a blockchain and crypto relevance.

I believe that the reality right now should be finding out what we could do with crypto exchanges, because that would be the biggest difference for sure. If big exchanges like binance, coinbase, kraken, gate and so forth all start to accept the new "digital dollar", then it will be a huge thing, it could be even bigger than all the stablecoins we have because this time around it will be based on the government and not just some company.
1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: March 28, 2022, 07:10:31 PM
And we mostly seen that, just like what we are experiencing right now, after the dip now Bitcoin and most crypto projects

are moving upwards, lucky to those who bought from that dip below $40k, they can
continue to hold or they can sell it now for some decent amount of profits.

It will going to depend on how investors see the full potential of their hold assets.
You said it right, either to push more or maybe it will dump back.
I have bought a bit under 40k, but I bought under 10k too, and above 60k too, hence it doesn't recall mean that "I was smart enough to know when it will go up". I will probably buy around these 40k prices as well. In the end we are talking about DCA and I am happy about it. It was always obvious that price reaching 50%+ lower would mean that it was just matter of time for the price to go up.

This is why I personally believe that anyone who knows what they are doing, would be buying even right now, but would have bought a long time ago for sure. Just focus on all those crashes, if you see the price crash too much then you could buy cheap and wait.
1308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: March 28, 2022, 05:47:49 PM
in looking at the market we must be realistic, but the fact is that lately the price of bitcoin has gone up very drastically. To be honest this situation is quite confusing to me because lately the price of bitcoin has gone up drastically while the war in Ukraine which has had a huge impact on the world economy has not ended. I don't know if the recent price hikes are the end of a bear market or just a temporary price hike that the whales are deliberately trying to create a bull trap.
Correction to this huge increase could be coming up, or maybe it won't but people are afraid of that. I get it though; I mean we have seen it both go up a lot and go down a lot in its history which is why we are always worried and I understand it.

This is why I believe that we should not really be shocked at the current situation, just focus on what you could do with what you are given and do not get worried about the future. In the end if you have enough money in crypto, then whatever happens will be a good result for you in the long run when the bitcoin goes up. That would be a lot better situation for people who are having hard time making a decision.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 27, 2022, 09:59:24 PM
...Until now, we do not know whether it’s good or bad in wartime, crypto is doing what its proponents say it does - giving people a way to work outside of traditional financial institutions - and there’s no sign that will change anytime soon.

The purpose of the cryptocurrency is still to provide an opportunity to use it irreversibly without the participation of a third party. And if the cryptocurrency is used for criminal purposes for settlements, we cannot associate it with these crimes, just as it is impossible to associate the cryptocurrency with the ongoing war.
I so much like how the cryptocurrency community has rallied in support of Ukraine during the war. It now paints a different picture on what cryptocurrency is all about. There are lots of people who usually see cryptocurrency as a currency that is being used for illicit activities and for funding terrorism, but with what the cryptocurrency community has done now, it changes the perspective  and now makes a lot of people around the world to see cryptocurrency in a way they should. And this is also going to help in adoption, so I am really happy about it. Let’s all look forward to the better days ahead.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 27, 2022, 09:10:39 PM
Metaverse is still in its early stages, but if the current growth rate continues to stabilize, this emerging trend has the potential to become mainstream this year and the years to come.
If we have a bull season this year and metaverse become the next trend of the market. I'm sure SAND and MAMA will have a big hit.
MANA* but I would guess that if the meta world keeps on growing then it could be potentially on something that is better. These two are the ones we have right now and they are at top of the meta list because of that, but the reality is that they are at the top because they are the only two that makes sense right now.

The moment something better comes along, we are not going to see these as the best anymore and they could lose some power. Hopefully that would happen and we would see much better projects, neither sandbox nor decentraland really provides what metaverse could potentially bring, they are just bad versions of what could be done better.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 27, 2022, 08:35:06 PM
I don't see any chance for Dortmund to be honest. They never make me excited as they just keep the same gap with Bayern Munich all the time. No team can achieve even one title unless they are very lucky for that season. And against a team like Bayern Munich you would be in a bigger trouble too. And it seems like Bayern Munich are going to win the Bundesliga title one more time and maintain the streak. This started to be annoying much time ago but still there is no change.
I do not agree with this view, there is not much difference in points. If Bayern loses a match and Dortmund wins in the match against Dortmund, the points of both teams will be equal.
It's hard I admit, but it's not impossible, I want Bayern to win and they've played better throughout the league. But if we are talking about statistics, we need to be ready to see such results Smiley
You may not agree to it, but the history has shown us that Bayern rarely drops the ball (pun not intended) when it goes to situations like this. If it was some other team then I would have sided with you, like for example City was leading ahead for a long time but then they ended up getting closer which right now means that Liverpool could win the league title, doesn't mean that they will but at the very least it will be a close run.

Bayern is not like that, they may not do amazingly well for a while, but when it comes to finishing the season, they are always great and they always end up pulling it through and ending with a bang to get the title.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 27, 2022, 05:33:49 AM
If Bayern Munich players think they will definitely win the championship, they may experience unexpected points loss. There is still a Borussia Dortmund-Bayern Munich match to be played. If Dortmund can close the points gap, their championship claims are still strong. Bayern Munich should continue unabated. Dortmund could come even closer on the first point loss. Like everyone else, I think Bayern will be the champion, but as you know, anything can happen in football.
They already knew that they would win the league like by 10th week. I do not think that it has been a secret that they would be winning the league, not like it became obvious right now, it’s obvious that they would win it. However, they are a German club and all those funny jokes about Germans being too hard working is the truth when it comes to Bayern, if they can beat a team 12-0 they will, they won't like stop after 4-5 they would keep on scoring.

This means that the unexpected loss shouldn't happen because they should be working hard to win every single game they possibly can and they go out to do that. All those losses are not because they lack care, that’s just because it's football and Bundesliga is famous for unexpected results.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 26, 2022, 09:24:05 PM
Before Italy, Macedonia beat Germany away and showed that their results are not accidental and that they have a good team, especially in defense.
In addition, in the match with the Portuguese, they will be even stronger as a team because some important players are returning to team.
Portugal was not very convincing in the qualifications and lost in the key match at home against Serbia.
Against Turkey they were also not convincing and the match could very easily have gone into overtime.
I agree that Portugal is a better team, but at the moment they are not playing very convincingly and in Portugal they are under a lot of public pressure, while Macedonia can play without pressure.
Everything is still open in this match.
I agree with this assessment. I mean Macedonia is definitely a good team right now and have a great momentum. I would say if you checked the rosters then Portugal would look like the better team for sure, and I would still put Portugal in the favorites position and arrange the odds accordingly.

It is basically question of a team with a great momentum versus a better team with bad momentum, which one would you prefer? Many people would still go with Portugal without a care because the rosters are clearly favoring them and the history does as well, what people wager on and to which team decides on the odds a lot as well in order for sportsbooks to make a profit.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 26, 2022, 06:26:58 AM
Trading comes with a lot of ups and downs and we learn along the line and mostly learn from our mistakes, but above all always trust and follow the knowledge that you build over a period time, cryptocurrency trading is a fast-growing venture, and at that this requires a long time of knowledge which mostly can be source over the Internet with various YouTube videos that can also help as a guide for newbie traders.
Trusting the knowledge you have built overtime is a great way of trusting your instincts in a way as well. There are times when you see that market says it will go one way, and it goes another way. If you have learned those tricks, when the market is trying to fake people out, and you do not get faked, then you will become a great trader.

This only happens with experience and only people who are great at trading would be able to see those coming. This requires time and patience and sometimes even money because you will be faked first, then you will stop getting faked but you would be making that money back so it is not really a big problem.
1315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 26, 2022, 05:39:36 AM
When it comes to trading there are a lot of things you can learn from books but there are just as many that you cannot learn by any other means but by experiencing them, and the only way to gain this experience is to be part of the market, this is one of the many reasons of why taking a high risk strategy is a mistake, those people lose their money so quickly that the lessons they learned from the market are too few and by the time they comeback they have forgotten most of what they learned anyway, which will make them to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
This is true, books could be a bit too old fashioned and I do not think that you need books to learn anymore. But online world is filled with stuff that you could learn from. Starting from simple articles, to in depth classes, to youtube videos to courses. You could learn from many of them, and that would replace the books in your saying.

However, the rest is correct, you have to learn from doing things and learning what mistakes you do, which would result with you getting a bit better in the long run. Of course it will take some time before you could get better, but in the end you will learn from your mistakes which is the best teacher.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 25, 2022, 10:15:39 PM
Juventus also have a lot of motivation now, especially when they no longer need to play in the Champions League, they will try to pick up points in Serie A. It is now becoming clear that Inter have started to play worse than before, while Juventus, on the contrary, are picking up points. I think Juventus will not lose their next game against Inter at home. It will not be easy for Inter to hold on to third place, they have strong rivals ahead except Juventus.
Motivation means nothing when two great teams face each other. Anything could happen at any moment when you are talking about giants. Look at la liga, we had Real Madrid who beat PSG with an amazing roster, 3-1 to eliminated them, then we had Barcelona who got a tie against 15th team in Turkish league, then barely got a 2-1 win from a comeback.

What happened when they faced? Barcelona managed to beat Real 4-0 very easily. This is why I believe that momentum, team chemistry, good luck all goes out of the window when we are talking about something like this, it is more about which team would be better on a single day, just for 90 minutes.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 25, 2022, 09:59:29 PM
there were several incidents that made PSG players mentally fall when people thought Donnarumma made a mistake so Benzama managed to score and it was a mistake that turned into an opportunity.
I don't want to talk about the finished game, now let's talk about whether Real Madrid can win all the remaining games in La Liga?
I do agree that it was a mistake that caused the game to change momentum like crazy. But, if you are a great team like that, you should be able to recover from a mistake, instead of getting scored 10 seconds later. Real proved that they are good enough team to beat almost anyone in the league, maybe they will have hard time against 2 teams for the remainder of the season but all the other games should be easy enough for them.

I believe that we are looking at something a bit more clearer when you consider even when you are clear favorites, you may end up losing some money. I am not saying that they will, all I am saying is that they possibly could.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras to declare Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: March 25, 2022, 07:11:00 PM
At first we think it was good news but there could be consequences that a country could face like what happened last time to El Salvador which said the country is in debt by the time bitcoin dumped a lot. Making bitcoin a legal tender seems not easy as we think but the country's economy will now depend on bitcoin other than fiat once they pass the bill.

If I am not mistaken you can now use your bitcoins directly on paying tax, on transport, and other public service in some parts of Switzerland and in USA but they did not made an announcement about making bitcoin as legal tender, maybe because the use of btc is only limited for now. Let's hope they continue to widen it and of course other countries should follow it too.
They were not rich before they adopted bitcoin, hence them being in trouble is not a big news. El Salvador did not become a poor nation because they invested into bitcoin, they were already a poor nation and they are spending the money into bitcoin purchases instead of helping the poor people, and that was seen as a bad thing.

But, so far they have done all they could to help people and corruption usually prevented that, this way they are at least trying their best to get richer, if bitcoin does 10x, that would mean the nation would do a lot better. This is why I believe that poor nations could definitely use crypto as a way to make some profit and use that to help their country, it wouldn't hurt them since they are already poor.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 25, 2022, 09:58:52 AM
According to

https://www.formulapassion.it/motorsport/formula-1/f1-team/doppio-ritiro-red-bull-marko-ha-la-spiegazione-f1-verstappen-perez-609942.html

The problem for RedBull was something related to the "vacuum in the injection of the fuel" there should not be any damage on the engine or batteries.

(Big good news if it is true since they can only use 3 of them, each)
TBH they could probably take enough engine change penalties to start at the back of the grid, then during the race overtake everyone else to end up P3 and P4 behind the Ferraris... such is the RB and Ferrari pace advantage at the moment. But I'm hoping the gap will close over time, as it's often biggest at the start of new regs, I remember the ludicrous Merc advantage at the start of the last era, that was then slowly reduced.
Seems like it won't be needed. It was just one part of the engine that had a problem and they fixed it, or that is what is said right now. If they once again face such a big problem then they would have to fix it and get it better of course, but that doesn't mean that we should be expecting them to change the whole engine for the time being. For now, they will start normally, with the hopes that the problem is fixed, and they will fight to win the race.

We all know that they are great at street races and Ferrari seems to be the ones to beat this year (has been long enough) and I believe that they will probably have a great race against each other. I am hopeful about HAAS as well, that will be interesting to watch.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 24, 2022, 09:30:37 PM
The Chelsea vs Real Madrid match in the last eight of the champions league this season has indeed attracted a lot of public attention, especially now that Real Madrid appears so on fire both in domestic and European competitions.in contrast to Chelsea, which is currently under pressure given the ongoing sanctions.they received from English football and also Europe where the assets owned by roman abramovich are currently being frozen so Chelsea are very difficult in financial condition they do not have much money to make the initial trip again between countries they live like the UCL game in April maybe this also very influential with the performance that will be displayed by the foster children of Thomas Tuchel
I would say that if it was any other season then I would give Real a lot bigger chance, even last year (which means I would be wrong). But at the end of the day Chelsea has brought in a lot of talent and they have been a lot more straight with their style lately as well. They are not the best team in the UCL by a big margin but they are good.

Same goes for Real Madrid, when they first draw against PSG, I assumed they would be gone, I didn't even imagine that they would be great, but at the end of the day we have seen them doing so much better right now. I feel like we should not be really shocked that they are in here right now and if they could beat Chelsea, nobody would be surprised.
