1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: March 30, 2023, 07:03:31 AM
Ludo game is like a traditional game in my country, every old and young are so into this type of game, it would be nice to see it running online, I haven't seen it on any online gaming platform before, not even any casino websites, I would love to aww this game online one day, it is very brain tasking and imagine it been time-based, you lose when the time runs out because you couldn't make a decision fast enough.  I will choose this game over slots and roulette any time any day.

As for those of you guys saying that ludo is a long game and won't fit in online gambling sites you are wrong, they just have to implement a timer where you will lose if you don't decide in time.
1302  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: To what extent can Artificial intelligence (AI) Enhance BTC mining. ? on: March 30, 2023, 06:42:36 AM
AI can't generate hash power on their own, this is why AI and crypto mining can never be on the same line, AI tech is not some kind of supercomputer that can solve blocks of any algorithm in seconds or something like that, it's never going to happen. The short answer is NO, AI can never enhance BTC mining.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing against 2024 on: March 30, 2023, 05:52:16 AM
This world order on the blockchain is not a new story lol, I have been hearing this for years now, even if the world order crap do form a crypto on the blockchain its never going to surpass Bitcoin, for the thing is the crypto will be some kind of occultish crap, it can't surpass even Monero or other big privacy coins.

If you are talking about the government CBDC, it's not going to be well adopted, people can't make money buying CBDC, they can only use it as Fiat but not a good investment choice, the chances of making a penny from CBDC is empty.
1304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi all, I am new here and I need some pieces of advice and guidance. on: March 29, 2023, 11:10:31 AM
Hi all, My name is Abu-Naim, I am new here.

I discovered this forum while conducting research for bitcoin-related advice before beginning any Bitcoin investment because I lack sufficient knowledge about bitcoin.
When I first discovered this forum, I saw so many topics in various sections in which I was trying to ask some questions, but there was no way, I only see previous and next topics up there until I registered an account, and now I see that I can reply and create my topic as well, I hope I am fully welcomed.

Please direct me to the sections where I can get good recommendations on the types of wallets to use, as well as basic information about the wallet and how the Bitcoin wallet works.

Thank you all.
I hope you take your words very seriously, the first time I stumble on this forum I was already into crypto but I never knew that Nakamoto himself is the owner, I just do some random research and quit the forum, it was years later that I decide to open an account on the forum and I was amused by the wide range of knowledge that one can gain on here, you are welcome to the forum OP.

If I have to advise you about the wallet I would say to go for Electrum wallet, this is the best wallet for Bitcoin, I do hope you are here for Bitcoin because so many newbies have a high interest in altcoins, it is better to start with Bitcoin first, very easy to understand, take your time to learn.

See the search box on the right top of your screen. That's the forum search engine, whatever question you got, just use the search engine as if you are to use the google search engine, many questions you have has be answered already on the forum.
1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 29, 2023, 10:24:02 AM
Keep some money aside in the bank for emergency purposes, sometimes the only thing holding you back is spending money that you aren't prepared for, so it's best to keep some money aside for such occasions.

There is no relation between this and people who like to spend lavishly, for example, someone who likes to go to clubs to drink alcohol and waste money on friend gatherings, which is their problem and the reason they will never be able to grow up.

OP you really can't avoid unnecessary expenses, because they don't come when you expect them, that's why an emergency fund is very important especially when you have a family.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: tokens based on bitcoin on: March 29, 2023, 09:19:53 AM
I know many projects that are running via the Bitcoin side chain but they are not doing well and that's why the adoption rate is very low, it is clear that Ethereum is way better than any other projects till date, even Matic is just trying its best as a layer 2 project but it is nothing without Ethereum, better stop looking for projects running on Bitcoin side chain and focus on Bitcoin or better Ethereum. There is a Defi project called Sovryn, the only project I still like because it's practicing the same decentralization of Bitcoin and it's running Bitcoin side chain, they a lenders and they give Zero percent on Bitcoin lending.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 06:06:45 AM
What OP said is very true, some times an emergency can take place that can make any Bitcoin holder to give up their holdings, health is wealth, still, this is why we need to work harder on the incomes we earn every month, if the income is high enough you can still be able to do something without touching your Bitcoin reserves, or if worst should happen you can sell part of your Bitcoin but it's different from selling everything. Also, let's hope that nothing bad happens to anyone of us, let's always try to think positively, I pray we all live longer to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over on: March 28, 2023, 08:05:19 AM
One of the best times to buy bitcoin is when the FUD is fresh and ongoing, it also depends on how big this FUD is, sometimes it has no impact on Bitcoin value and sometimes they do have a massive impact on the market, but if it does then it's a buying time, but the most effective way of accumulating Bitcoin is in a downtrend, never buy when the price is recovering, keep your eye open for any possible opportunities so you won't miss out.

Take advantage of the Bear market and bad news that may affect crypto adoption, they never lasted long, it's like a form of market manipulation.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is the largest bitcoin miner. on: March 28, 2023, 07:21:34 AM
Yes china is not the largest bitcoin miners anymore, their government put a heavy ban on crypto mining and many asic miners were destroyed, that's after putting up a warning message that all miners should stop mining with immediate effect and some went underground, they are later apprehended, some went to prison because they failed to follow the instruction.  I have two families in China and they always give me updates on what is happening in China pertaining the mining issue, many Chinese people start selling off their graphic cards and Asic miners, that was how I helped someone to get some graphic cards for cheap price before Ethereum dumped proof of work.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spread Love with Bitcoin on: March 28, 2023, 06:47:42 AM
You still use Fiat, what are you trying to achieve here? You are simply helping people with Fiat nothing more, it only makes sense if those you are helping are accepting Bitcoin from you directly, I will even have more interest in this because it's not just about the "helping" part but you are also promoting Bitcoin.

Even if they don't have time to do research about what Bitcoin is, you have simply created a chance of curiosity in the minds of the receivers, they can ask later what Bitcoin is all about.

But I get you, how will they even sell their Bitcoin for Fiat when they don't know what it is all about, but another thing is they do have children at home, and educated children will dig into the curiosity more, wanting to know how to turn Bitcoin into money.

Anyway, you did what you could, Bless You.
1312  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: March 28, 2023, 06:00:37 AM
Street gambling is not safe, judging from where I grow up, there was violence in street gambling and that's also the perfect place for criminals, few gun raid happened, few lives were lost. I don't like this idea, and I am also wondering how OP will make street gambling work online, are you going to use some live feed camera or what? How are you going to tackle the security issues?

Imagine someone winning some thousand of dollars on a life camera and the gangs of the street heard about it, bro you can end up facing the law. It is better to work on a legit gambling company and if street games are your thing try to advance the idea and add it to the list of games in your company, good luck with your plan.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stories about lost Bitcoin on: March 27, 2023, 08:37:21 AM
Stay away from any custodial crypto wallet

Years ago I lost a huge amount of Bitcoin to Xapo wallet and FreeWallet, these two companies require email and a password to log in, I don't know the difference between a wallet that asks for log in and another that gives you private keys or recovery seed, at the time I preferred Xapo and Freewallet, because you don't need to write anything down, just straight log in using my email address.

A few months later they denied my account, I couldn't log into my FreeWallet account and when I asked from the support they claim the error is from my end and I reset my password, maybe it was really from my end, I said, but after I successfully reset the password and log in the account was empty.

Till today I can't log into my xapo wallet either and the support team are not helping at all, I've sent them emails but they don't reply back, I just decided to leave them and move on with my life, I read many complains online about Freewallet and Xapo wallet, that's when I knew I was not the only one, these two companies are scam.

1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The End of the Bitcoin Mixing Service, Should We Worry about Our Privacy? on: March 27, 2023, 07:36:20 AM
As far as bitcoin mixers are concerned, they have both advantages and disadvantages. I have never used one because I don't have any need to, but I'm sure not all mixer users are into something illegal. Those who use mixers to hide stolen funds and embezzled money are the biggest problem, and that's why law enforcement will have to shut them down.

I am surprised that privacy projects like Zcash and Monero live this long because this is the only reason why I don't have any XMR or Zcash coins in my crypto portfolio right now, it's why I don't invest in MASQ even though I like how useful this project is in terms of privacy and security.

While many mixers remain operational to this day, I doubt the federal government will shut all of them down unless there is evidence that funds were moved illegally through the mixers.
1315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto space: A Wild Wild West on: March 27, 2023, 05:53:46 AM
The crypto bear market is no more a stranger to anybody, despite the huge collapse and lost of trillion from the market blockchain games still managed to thrive, if you are reading the news you should know by now that Blockchain games have grown by 48% in January of 2023 compared to other utilities in the space, if you are not seeing it yet does not mean it's not happening.

I know that blockchain gaming is yet to witness a massive adoption but it has a big advantage over other crypto projects, blockchain gaming is projected to be worth 365 billion dollars in 2023 and I strongly believe it will happen.

Blockchain games allow players to monetize their winning, and yes many of them have a broken mechanism but it's not the end, to me gaming has more empathy and patronage than others, let's relax and wait for the coming years to see for ourselves if blockchain gaming will really became successful.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: March 27, 2023, 05:06:04 AM
I don't have a daily budget, I drive myself down to my office every day and I use 100$ to restock food back in the house, this has lasted me and my family for good six months, and the others are lesser expenses, I think the most important expenses is food if you can get this out of the way, the rest will be comfortable.

I learned this from my deceased father, he said this move makes things easier for him, he won't have to worry about no food in the house every month end, with this move I have also been able to save money for other specialties.

1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 24, 2023, 07:43:27 AM
I don't feel bad selling my Bitcoin or paying with Bitcoin, if you are a business owner who accepts Bitcoin as a payment solution you will understand, I buy goods with Fiat and sell them to my customers and few of my customers pay me in Bitcoin, whenever I receive Bitcoin I have to sell back to Fiat using the exact initial amount I used to purchase the goods, so that I can return them back to store for sell, I always keep my profits in Bitcoin and this has helped me get my hands of a handful of Bitcoin, if you are feeling bad spending your Bitcoin, you need to find a way to earn more Bitcoin, find a business where you can start accepting Bitcoin, even if you spend Bitcoin you won't be running out of Bitcoin because you are also accepting Bitcoin as payment.
1318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Change address on Binance on: March 23, 2023, 09:46:05 AM
I created my account on Binance but they did not give me change address.

Any exchange give us change of address for my account?

I don't want to use one address forever.
I hope you aren't trying to store your crypto assets on the Binance exchange, don't do it.

You can't trust any centralized exchange even if they are the top #1 rated over the web, it still doesn't guarantees that your assets will be safe on the exchange.

Centralized exchanges are the ones in the custody of your private key, they are not non-custodial.

If your purpose of depositing on Binance exchange is not to keep funds there then it makes no sense to me why you need an exchange that can give you more than one address, you can do this comfortable in non-custodial wallets too, like meta mask wallet.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: How rich would I be? on: March 23, 2023, 08:17:59 AM
For those of us who have been exposed to cryptocurrency and have had to believe in its continued existence by delving into its use;
How rich could I be if I use DCA strategy to invest in Bitcoin continuously until it reaches its 21million limit? Knowing how much it has gotten to now at 19.15million.
How long would be a long time in years for this limit to be reached and what opportunities would be made available to those who invested in owing these coins and still do as at the time?
Will those who earn from campaigns, offer services online or conduct business with cryptocurrency be so rich, seeing that they have been in the game long and have accessed or have access in the form of holdings or savings or have its coins as payment in one form or another?
You shouldn't have any business with when the 21 million supply of bitcoin will be reached, what assurance do you have that you will still be alive by that time? Another factor is Bitcoin halving, slowing down the numbers of Bitcoin that's getting out into the hands of others through mining, Erase this plan or idea off your mind OP and focus more on your dollar cost averaging for 6-10years, this must not stop you from living your life, because we don't know when our time will be up.

As Bitcoin supply gets very close to a 21million, things will get extremely slow, if I have to start DCA into Bitcoin right now I will target 6 - 10 years later, I have to take profit and do some buyback, I don't like holding through a bull market and not taking profits, a bear market will always bring down the value of Bitcoin to a point for future buyers.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 23, 2023, 07:00:32 AM
With how much CBDC's are being developed for use as a legal tender, do you  think there is a future for gambling with CBDC's?

Last year (2022), Macau which is popularly known as the gambling capital of the world due to it's booming casino business were planning to give CBDC's the status other accepted Legal tenders had. It raised the question of it this will prompt casino's in the city to begin accepting CBDC's for gambling?

The government in Macau did not say when;
Quote
The government has not established a deadline for when or which digital currencies will be accepted
But it is something to expect.

If Casino's in Macau begin accepting CBDC's, It may prompt other casino's to follow suit especially in places where CBDC's already have the Legal Tender status.

Gambling Capital of the World Macau to accept CBDC as Legal tender

I have no problem with gambling websites accepting CBDC, the only thing that can cause a problem is CBDC making all gambling websites and locations to only accept Fiat and CBDC to get rid of crypto as means of payment, I believe this will never happen, online gambling websites are all open to any means of payment to make things easier to their users, so it doesn't make any difference, I am even thinking that CBDC may perform woefully vs Fiat, but only time will tell.
