I think the most simple ways of avoided scammers are just to first
1. Learn from people mistake in every way possible so as to make it count and have bear it in mind that scammers are real and they are aware.
2. Always try and stay updated because scammers are at their hands and head working every day so as to catch their next possible.
3. This is most important for me if you ask me and its learning how to maintain or control your greed, because it has the ability to draw you close any attempt by a scammer or fraudsters.

For me, it's hard to level my trust in BTC using 0 to 100 since I only invest in what I can afford to lose so i'll say it's around 60-100. I don't know for others on what number they will use since we all did the same which is invest what we can afford to lose. To be honest, I don't rate my trust in BTC because I don't think I can level it myself and one more thing, I don't think it's because of those two that it is the factor that will change the overall level of trust we have on BTC because Bitcoin had already existed and been use many times before it existed. I agree with the above post that we shouldn't dwell so much on our level of trust in Bitcoin.

A few days ago, I posed a question in this forum, wondering if, as someone who engages in gambling, you've ever considered thought of giving back to the community if you ever had a successful gambling run. I carefully went through all the responses, maintaining keen interest and taking note of each perspective. Another aspect of the inquiry involves whether you would be willing to participate in crowdfunding for a fellow gambler who reaches out to the public through social media seeking financial support after they gambled with the funds meant for an important project like, investment, school fees, rent, marriage or any other thing. And what would you say to those who go ahead to donate to these gamblers out of a sense of empathy?
If he gambled irresponsibly, then he does not need crowdfunidng rather he needs to visit a psychologist for help on how to deal with his gambling addiction. Giving money to him is just telling him to continue from where he stopped. So I don't see the need for crowdfunding such fellow and I will never be a part of it. I think he is referring to football (soccer in United States). I do not like sport generally again too because the odds are low but some bettors prefer it saying they can analyze it more than casinos games but I prefer casinos now because of the better odds to chances of winning or losing. There are couple that were once known as Ethereum killer like NEO and DOT then there is LTC as well as XRP. I used to have them in my portfolio sometime back but it felt they are not worthy it for various reasons. I feel it is better to buy meme coin and take a big risk or invest in coins that have been in the market and are on the top 10 position on Coingecko.
Sometimes people get interested in those coins at the top list due to their rating but some of these coins at the top aren't really worth buying and like you have already stated it can make you lose your investment so I don't really buy any coins base on these ratings. It is strange that although I knew there was a Miss Universe competition ongoing as at yesterday, it never occurred to that the bookies will have it listed on their website. For some reason I got this taught from a discussion I was partly involved in where the persons were all complaining on how they lost so much during the bull market and it made me wonder how possible is this if one should be able to avoid so many factors that posses these results of losses.

Scammers are always active may it be bull season or bear season. Scammers don't sleep and are always looking for opportunities to scam people. It is that scammers get more victim during the Bitcoin market bull period because there are more people getting active at that time and there are also newcomers that are somehow not familiar with how the Bitcoin Industry work so it seems that scammers look more active during the bull period because scammers tend to scam more people during this period. Regardless of the season, may it be the bullish or bearish market, we must always stay vigilant and be on the look and avoid scammers. Yeah that's true, sometimes it even safe to say that scammers are more active and vigilant that your every day normal crypto enthusiast base on the update levels, every seasonal market open and creates opportunity for more naive and less focus persons to be scammed and most person just don't when something that is presented is too good to be true. I keep seeing gamblers advising themselves that you are one step closer to winning the jackpot when you quit too early, it's sad that they strongly believe this.
What I often hear people say is that you won't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket. A follow up to that would be the more you buy then the more chances of winning. It's not exactly the same but I think the same concept applies. Is it wrong for them to say that? Not really. You can win the jackpot with just one or a few tries since it's a game based on luck but the odds are most likely lower. Most people like to think that they can actually force their way to getting that luck that is involved in gambling. I base my question about whether a gambler can become a good bitcoin trader, because both of them share one factor which is risk. A gambler is a risk taker, he stakes his money without knowing the outcome of the game that he is about to play. There is no guarantee that he will win, yet he goes ahead to play, knowing fully well that he can lose his bet. Same thing with a bitcoin trader, he goes ahead to engage in trading knowing fully well that the market can turn around negatively for him, making him to lose his bitcoin. Yet he goes ahead to trade in the hope of making profit.
Although there are some differences between the two, like most gambling depends mainly on luck. You play and let luck decide fate of the game, that is the risk factor, because the gambler doesn't have any control or influence to determine the outcome of the bet. Also a bitcoin trader doesn't have any control or influence to determine how the market swings, he takes the risk to trade his bitcoin without knowing the outcome whether it'll be profit or lose. The diffidence between the two is that a bitcoin trader can predict the market, while a gambler can not predict the outcome of a bet, except in sports bet.
So if a gambler where to go into bitcoin trading, do you think that the experience of taking risk in gambling will be an added advantage to face the risk of bitcoin trading?
Of course, that is possible if the gambler also learns how to trade. Everything can be learned, I also believe that there are people like this who can do those 2 things. Obviously, these buyers are newbies who have already heard about retro airdrops, but are not yet familiar with security. And accordingly, they do not understand that the former owner can withdraw the contents of the wallet at any time using a private key. That's true as the former owner can easily access the wallet due to the possession of the private key and only a newbie that is center and ignorant of the basic knowledge of crypto knowledge would fail to understand this. The worst part about this is that a private key to a wallet isn't like your normal social media account security or even bank app security where one can easily change the password or even the reset password if forgotten or lost. |
