1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: March 22, 2016, 05:48:30 PM
Choosing the correct intensity is important. Because the 32bit nonce overflows and work is lost with incorrect intensities. Might explain why bensam is getting lower rates on the pool.

Decred buyers can try -i 29.6

lolololololol k so why does no ones rates show up on pool? Is ANYONE actually seeing ANY increase poolside?

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/?address=DskKQokmXSFdeU6EF7mYcAJox6xwcAqY35s

4x970, testing with -i settings continues...

There really are some problems with miner/poolside hash but there is no question if it is faster.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: March 19, 2016, 06:55:48 PM
Decred #4 x64, still missing 25% of my hash on pool. Using the CPU version which sucks on my CPU I'm getting closer to 90% of what hashrate I should be getting.

Tried on coinmine and mnpool.

Have you tried yiimp? At least 100% on pool with my lonely gtx 980.

1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: March 19, 2016, 02:25:04 AM

Are you actually mining? Like for real?
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: March 18, 2016, 09:49:55 PM
Some quick decred sp-mod #4 tests:

Windows 7 gtx 970 +22%

Windows 10 gtx 980 g1 +18%

OC'd gtx 980 g1 did 2330 2330 on windows 10.

-edit-

Ok I didn't know you can overclock this much. Insane!

Need to test that 980 g1 again.

-edit2-

No more hash for poor gtx 980. Gtx 970 win7 1.9GH vs gtx 980 win10 2.3GH.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum Mining Calculator with Responsive Data and Profit Chart. on: March 16, 2016, 04:37:57 PM
For the past 2 days the calculator seems off.  It usually mirrors what I earn perfectly.

edit: In fact it is producing the same result as http://etherscan.io/ether-mining-calculator which I've always found to be off.

http://etherscan.io/charts/difficulty

I am earning more than 2-3 days ago, aren't you?
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: March 16, 2016, 03:18:27 AM
@Sp any updates of this kernels,I'm donator of this algo's Smiley)) decred i have rev3. don't remember others Smiley))
3. 0.1BTC: Spreadcoin +10-20% (with full sourcecode / linux compatible)
4. 0.1BTC: All nicehash algos optimized. 0-7%
5. 0.1BTC: decred +10-21%

The may 2015 release(release 9 or 8 ) does around 5mhash with oc on the 970

Release 7 which I assume you're talking about does 4.35 Mh/s on stock (970 WF3OC) and 4.8 Mh/s with +150 Mhz OC (1465-1478 Mhz). Above that it's bound to crash in a few hours.

where to download?

Release 9 it is, send 0.1 BTC and pm to sp_

Huh, are you sure? I only received up to release 7.

Spreadminer 7 with source (linux support)
- Fixed the hash
- fixed the makefile (linux)
- Rewrote Blake
- some small tuning

0.6% faster than build 6 (750ti)

Yes, July 2015:

Just a tiny increase from release 8 this time

1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 750ti is a 4gb card on: March 15, 2016, 06:15:07 PM
I only had one GV-N75TOC-2GI. And guess what, it died...

Refurbished MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr also dropped the ball, I think someone just mentioned that card here too.

1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which PSU for 6x R9 390? on: March 15, 2016, 08:37:09 AM
Thank you all.

Im just thinking about the Nano, it use only 150W at 28Mhs i saw.

That test was a few months ago. Hashrate has dropped a little due to the bigger DAG file.

It's more like 26Mh @ 150W.

But more interesting = 22Mh @ 65W with some down clocking.  Wink

It is not possible for 22MH @65W. The maximum down voltage is -100 mV with MSI afterburner as far as I know.

It's about Power Target or TDP Limit or however you want to call it and not voltage.

I have a feeling eliovp uses custom bios too...
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH miner clCreateBuffer(-61) GPU can't allocate the DAG in a single chunk on: March 14, 2016, 04:56:43 PM
Try this

--vectors 1 --no-submit-stale --gpu-threads 1 --scan-time 2 --queue 0

One more question.

I have got 2 GPU's now. One 6970 and one 6950.
I get "Pool 0 not providing work fast enough" like every minute.

Is there any possibility to get the work faster or change to another pool?

I had the same problem already with one card.

Try higher/ lower difficulty port? Worth a try.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which PSU for 6x R9 390? on: March 14, 2016, 04:52:10 PM
I have two of them, power consumption really depends a lot of clocks and volts, 100-330W per card. I am running mine overclocked and undervolted 30MH/ 225W each which I think is a sweet spot for them.

If you go 2 PSU way choose at least gold rated ones with 6 x PCIE power connectors so that you don't have to play with splitters and molex adapters.

Playing with volts and clocks is much easier in windows than in linux.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH miner clCreateBuffer(-61) GPU can't allocate the DAG in a single chunk on: March 13, 2016, 07:58:45 PM
DCR?
Is it profitable to mine it?

It is far from goldmine with 6950 but can still be profitable. I think 6950 does 0.6-0.7GH, flash it to 6970 and it does 0.8GH.

That would earn you closer to one DCR (~0.005BTC) per day.

1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH miner clCreateBuffer(-61) GPU can't allocate the DAG in a single chunk on: March 13, 2016, 06:31:18 PM
Isn't open CL a part of Catalyst?
And I recently updated the catalyst to 15.7.1 whcih is one of the newest versions.

Try some really old drivers 11 or 12 series, it worked for my 6990. But hashrate was so slow that it is more profitable to mine DCR with it.

1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: March 13, 2016, 11:17:20 AM

You must have a very fast network. And also your network connection is very stable. My geth will hang some time. So I do not solo mine.

I had those geth problems too. Upgrade to the latest geth (1.3.5 atm), make sure all your rigs are in 'real' time (tip by eliovp).

And yes, I have a low latency network connection.

What do you mean by "real time"? Should we update the clock of the PC every day so that it is very accurate?

I don't know daily but it needs to be accurate. Every rig needs to be at the same time with ethereum network.

1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: March 13, 2016, 11:14:26 AM

Ok. Is it too much asked to wipe out drivers with ddu and install 15.7.1 drivers?

nah i can give it a try for sure.
what do you want me to try after?

Just start mining with default clocks. What does gpuz show in core + mem + mc load?

-edit- test rig found a block again, this is really against all odds. Four blocks in a week, two with single 290 and two with 2 x 390. Lottery it is...

got about the same  as with 16.2
but i got BOD after installing 15.7.1 so i had to reinstall windows that was not so fun but needed to do it anyway

What are your default clocks and what is the hashrate with them? I'm going to try same clocks on my 390, your 390x should do 10% more.

Etherum just passed 1 billion dollars in market cap. Who wan't to be the first altcoin billionaire?

2   Ethereum Ethereum   $ 1,033,758,698   $ 13.30   77,701,680 ETH   $ 44,587,500 17.83 %

Jump on the train. A ticket to the moon.

One etherum coin can be worth 1000$ in a few years just like bitcoin.

Volume already passed BTC  Smiley

BTC has two times Eth's volume according to coinmarketcap.

Sorry sp_, you started this OT in your own thread...

Bensam, do you have a link? I already feel I am loosing this fight but I am happy if eth has only 50% volume of btc  Smiley

Bensam, you had some problems with weak CPU's, what exactly happens with your rigs?

1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: March 12, 2016, 07:12:53 PM
done a try to OC a bit now. from 1080 core til 1150 core volt +25 and power limit +50
did go from 28.4 to 30.3Mhs
temps are around 70-72c with fans on auto around 45%

that didnt go so well for me Smiley computer hung after 20min
will give a bit lower oc and see if that works

Try 1100, -100mV to core & aux + tap user defined fan profile. Leave power limit as it is.

-100mV to core & aux set.
but i see some black lines on the screen when i have 1100 like the graphics tear. get lower temps 64c now at 1080
didnt see much diffrence when i had it at 1100
-100 gave me black screen after a few mins.

What brand is that card? And what PSU?

Sapphire R9 390X Nitro 8GB
Corsair TX750

Ok I thought it was 390. Reset everything.

Do you have GPUZ installed? If so does it show memory controller load under sensors tab? What is it? What drivers are you using? And what OS?

memory contoller 70-72%
Windows 7
Non-WHQL-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.2-Win10-Win8.1-Win7-Feb23

Ok. Is it too much asked to wipe out drivers with ddu and install 15.7.1 drivers?
