1301  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: December 04, 2017, 11:01:02 PM
So I have to post daily at least two post to get promotion in the activity. I am now posting like that only as I don't have any signature campaign if I have for this posting I could have paid and it might motivate me a lot. Its all about luck only.

What is a signature campaign and how do you get that? (sorry for asking, I am quite new here !!!)

Wear a signature and get paid for having it for a limited period of time and with some rules
Take a look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0 and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
1302  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 22-Nov-2017] on: December 04, 2017, 08:59:04 PM
Hi Profs,

Can someone guide me how to join signature bounty on this platform?

There is only 1 open signature campaign for newbies in the table or you can try to find one in the bounties/altcoin here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
Just wear their signatures and follow their rules
Better wait to become junior member in order to have more available options

Send the link please

Wait until you have a minimum of 30 activities which requires 3 period of 14 days each. Keep posting several posts in every period with a minimum of 14 posts each.
In order to know when the periods start https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/htmlview?pli=1
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Will BTC Faucets Deal With A $50,000 Bitcoin Price? on: December 04, 2017, 02:53:37 PM
As the USD price of Bitcoin increases, the rewards that popular Bitcoin faucets payout decreases accordingly. Sites that would pay 50-70 satoshi per claim last year are now paying between 15-20 satoshi per claim.

If the price of Bitcoin continues to climb to $50,000 USD, the value of 1 satoshi would conceivably be higher then these faucets could afford to pay out (per climb) compared to the ad income they generate.

Any thoughts on how will these faucets deal with payouts when 1 satoshi is worth too much?

It is simply a number that you can divide it.
For example 1 BTC = 1000 mBTC
So in the future when 1 satoshi will cost many dollars we will simply divide it. For example, 1 Satoshi = 1000 mSatoshi.

faucets started as a cool little idea to "give away" bitcoin and get more people involved. it was for free and a large amount not dust. there were faucets giving away 3 bitcoin at a point!!! now they are all used for money making both by their owners and the users!

and for years they do not pay you directly, they use a third party (like a bowl to gather the drops) and nothing is stopping them from paying their users 0.1 satoshi 0.00001 satoshi and so on which will solve the price issue and the users will have to accumulate 100,000 satoshi to be able to withdraw!

Indeed, the only problem imo is the high fees which will be a limited factor for the transactions..

1308  Other / Meta / Re: Prohibiting newbies from starting a topic on: December 04, 2017, 12:15:38 AM

Nah, often times the reason people join is to ask a question. If they are blocked from asking their question the moment they join it will be much more difficult to integrate them into the community
havent really thought about it that way, but i have noticed it quite a lot. thanks for pointing that out, simple as it may have been.

I guess it was the way of the moderators to limit newbies from asking shallow questions. What I mean is that there are things about bitcoin that they can learn by themselves already by searching on the internet. Another thing is that it will oblige them to roam around the forum because there are basic questions that have been answered before. I am once a newbie and before I registered, I roam around the forum first out of curiosity.

Good points.

@few replies : I didn't mean to prohibit newbies from posting in topics.
I just asked to prohibit them from starting topics which are mostly spammy/scammy ones. Maybe I should specify that they could always open a topic in beginners and help section or even in meta (+ their respective languages).
Other boards could be accessible too after the mod of the selected sub approves the topics, maybe? Like that useless and spammy posts could be rejected and we can reduce the spam.
1309  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Fixed Signature Campaign - Monthly Payments - No Free Spots ♠ on: December 02, 2017, 02:21:30 PM
I'm sorry that some participants significantly reduced their average number of posts and agree with suggestion that we have minimum number of post again.

It is hard for someone to keep posting the same average number of posts every time. I mean someone could go to a holiday, could have a lot of works, exams...etc.
Having a fixed minimum posts is the best solution in order to avoid problems.

BETCOIN.AG seems to change/fix the minimum posts and payout. They will announce it soon normally.

Hi. Thank you for taking part in the completed stage. Many of you have significantly reduced your average number of posts, we are announcing changes in the rules of our campaign in the nearest hours and we will lower in the rates. The new stage of the campaign has already begun, you have to be patient for the final verdict regarding the changes, but now we are announcing that the number of minimal posts will definitely increase to a minimum of 50-60, and the payoffs compared to the current ones will be reduced. We will inform you about details in the nearest hours. Thank you

Thank you. I've been search this post in google.
BTW, how much minimal donate price?

Until now, you can donate 50 BTC or 10 BTC
For more informations take a look here https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html

Not true. Those are the amounts you will need to donate for a vip or donator tag. You can donate any amount you wish via the link you posted.

You can now also purchase a 'copper' membership for a small fee from here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150

Hopefully new ranks will be added in the future.

Of course, any one can donate as much as he wants. I thought he meant donating in order to get vip/donators. I forgot to add copper member. My bad...

1316  Other / Meta / Re: Moving to Cloudflare on: November 30, 2017, 08:53:54 PM
Is this active at the moment. I'm getting server 500 errors. It's not really a problem because a reload seems to clear it.

Have the same error frequently but since it gets resolved rapidly when reloading, well, it is relatively tolerated..
BTW, couldn't be the NSA conducting the ddos attacks? and what's the point of ddosing the forums?
Downtime isn't a good thing for sure but the idea of hilarious is good if feasible

From +$11200 to $10500-10700 in different exchanges. Well, big whales cashing out huge profit apparently  Wink
1319  Other / Meta / Re: Prohibiting newbies from starting a topic on: November 29, 2017, 01:20:59 PM
it's a difficult option but to be honest i've seen plenty of experienced users posting spam also so works both ways.

Yeah there is a high ranked members that spam the forums but once they get tagged in the smas list, their chances to join signatures will be low. In addition, losing a valuable account once banned isn't a good thing Wink
1320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dragonball Z for 9000? Why? on: November 28, 2017, 05:40:57 PM
It means for me at least that the Bitcoin price is unstoppable.
Bitcoin could stabilise easily over the $10k level in the next hours maybe?
