Nice article as always, i already didnt submit my answer im gonn a put them today in the night, but as far as i can read, again its gonna be a tought round for us and with us im refering to the clasical sports guys. Like football tenis basket, you know, the mainstream.
I'll wait things out as well after my loss from the previous round, i'll take whatever advantage I can get to secure some points and prevent my team from falling off the in the middle of the standings.

On the bright side, the choices are straightforward aside from F1 and i'll gladly take those even if the questions become more difficult than before.  Cheesy
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 24, 2023, 01:51:58 AM
I'm mostly satisfied with the winnings I get, even if it's smaller than what I expect, and I prefer to stay that way because gambling with that greedy mindset always backfires. I've been there before and forcing myself to hit those winning limits would lead me to start a losing streak I didn't ask for. It's similar to chasing losses because you're also betting bigger or placing more bets, but your goal is to reach the winning limit you've set. That same goal can also bring you down even further because casino games rarely go in the way of gamblers.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 24, 2023, 01:12:48 AM
The second con of traditional gambling also applies to crypto gambling if you look hard enough you'll see some of them that would offer almost the same bonuses that have these high rollovers.

One of the crypto gambling cons specifically the "no fees" part isn't always true, only a handful of crypto casinos would let you withdraw for free and the rest would require you to pay at least a few dollars.

Use VPN to open it, it would work. I used IP address and I got the error but it worked with VPN. I am wondering why it is blocking IP addresses.
They mentioned it was for security when tried to ask a similar question to their support team.

Day 5 of Riyadh Masters 2023 just ended
Team Liquid had a perfect day three going 4-0 (one of the games ended in 18mins), and securing the upper bracket spot should be easy for them as they only need to win one game, while Gaimin Gladiators is still struggling to come out ahead and needs to win 2-0 against OG to avoid the tiebreakers.

I'm impressed that the standings are this tight after day three, and every team still has something to play for. We'll potentially see some tiebreaker games for both the upper and lower bracket if every team remains to be this competitive.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 24, 2023, 12:08:10 AM
I wouldn't say your mistake is being greedy, but it's more about pushing your luck by including that one leg that cost you the win. I used to place parlays frequently back then, and it's normal to lose by one, so don't feel too bad about it. I'd also suggest checking out some of the sportsbooks available because they sometimes have a promotion on parlays, and if you placed that same bet on another sportsbook, you could've won at least a free bet instead of nothing.

The qualifying sessions for F1 ended an hour ago, and it looks like the UK drivers are in the best position to take the most points as Lewis Hamilton secures the pole position beating Max Verstappen by .003 seconds and Landon Norris gets the third position.

Also, i've been seeing live updates about Vingegaard securing the win already, which means I already lost this round, and congrats on the first win Ulven.  Wink

Their chase on the bottom without a black hole is hilarious. What the fracas is with the OG draft? seriously?
Their draft heavily relied on snowballing in the early game, that's why they had to make some moves, but it backfired. Drafts with TA haven't been that great and might be a good indicator to bet against as she's one of the most picked heroes but only has a 29% win rate.

On the bright side, they bounced back in the second game with the same draft (Slark, Windranger, and Enigma) they used against Entity yesterday.
1309  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 21, 2023, 03:36:41 PM
The main reason the upper class gambles less than the other class has already been pointed out by the posts above, and that's because the number of people in each class isn't the same compared to the other two. It will remain that way forever because even though we'll see an increase in the upper class every year it'll never be big enough to outnumber the other class.
1310  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 21, 2023, 01:35:51 PM
Your information is more secure
There's less information required when opening an account on crypto sportsbooks but that doesn't mean our information is more secure than traditional sportsbooks. Nowadays, more crypto sportsbooks can now require some form of KYC. They're slowly moving to the same side of the traditional sportsbooks as they update their terms and conditions.

In addition to the advantages of faster deposits and withdrawals, in crypto casinos we can also be calm when we win big because no one else will know about it.
Not always, because some casinos will try to post some of the big wins that appear on the high-roller betting feed.

Games are almost done for today and that's why tomorrow's matches are going to be exciting as they are. GG is there and as well as other strong teams.
The weaker teams got filtered out from the play-ins, and with more competitive teams in the group stage, we'll probably see more draws like in the DreamLeague.

I wouldn't call that throw. One mistake for each game really changes a lot for each games situation and there's the snowballing that do happens for the teams that are under farmed and does a comeback.
I agree the mistakes that some teams make while they're ahead are more punishing than before and that's why we see the early leads they've accumulated go down pretty fast in the mid to late game.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 21, 2023, 12:04:45 AM
Just to give an update, four teams have already said their goodbye that early to the Riyadh Masters. And these are the teams:
Beastcoast should've been one of the few teams that advanced, but their form isn't the same as it used to be. Entity was a bit promising after the first day, but they're unlucky to face OG over Beastcoast in the deciders.

It was pretty close for Team Secret but there was no doubt that they were going to make it considering that they were only playing against Execration. These teams are so bad on all Majors and International tournament that they dont really deserve all those spot
I surely thought it'd be an easy 2-0 for them, but that comeback win from Execration happened out of nowhere. After that, Team Secret played so cleanly, dragging out fights, and Fbz's early octarine build helped a lot in those long extended fights.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 20, 2023, 08:10:48 PM
I would try to prove him wrong and tell him what i'd do with his money. Stopping my gambling activities for good would be my last resort and the next option I would go for if my father is stubborn and doesn't trust me enough.

Prioritizing gambling and skipping out on the inheritance might be the worst decision i'd make because you mentioned that it's around the millions. But if i'm going to master a betting method that would help me sustain in the long run, then it's worth thinking over.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 20, 2023, 05:53:26 PM
I've experienced a similar situation years ago and it was only due to a raffle type of promotion. At the time, I was just playing with only 5-10mbtc which was around $10-20 then won a 100mbtc prize as this was one of the many prizes from their promotion. Also, their promotion lasted for a few weeks and I was surprised to see my account with around 300mbtc. All of the big wins that i've withdrawn are always sent out within minutes up to several hours at most.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 20, 2023, 06:30:15 AM
Group A is pretty much locked in, so teams might get encouraged to experiment, while in Group B 9Pandas and Xtreme Gaming are looking for a 2-0, and Quest needs one win to advance in the group stage.

Quest and XG's match are the only two I see worth betting for today, while 9Pandas are too favored against Team Secret. I'll go for XG map1 @1.78 this time since they're the only team that got a map against Quest and their offlaner JT had a similar playstyle as Ace.

I think I will wait few days before betting big on this tournament. Have to get a feeling for the teams.
Same, i'm trying to bet lightly as possible and then go back to my normal bet size once the next phase of the play-ins starts.

1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 20, 2023, 01:53:26 AM
Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?
That statement would only give gamblers false hope, and in my country, there's no other similar statement and it's better that we don't have any because bettors need to be more aware.

I prefer to ignore them because i'd start to overthink if I allow myself to be affected by these statements. And gamblers should know that playing longer is what casinos want us to do because the longer we play, the more likely the house edge kicks into our gameplay.

My situation is only going from bad to worse, as I thought i'd get my first point from the CL qualifier, but Klaksvik says no.  Tongue

Almost everything is going against my predictions, and now I have to hope that the last three questions somehow hit. If I lose any of those three, then i'll be getting my second loss.
1318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone is still using Paxful? on: July 19, 2023, 05:00:17 PM
I also saw that message in my email two months ago, they're not the same as they used to be since I don't see the users that I regularly trade with back then.

It's best to put your trading activity on hold for now or look for a different platform, as there are only a few verified users posting offers, and then the rest that I saw don't have a lot of positive feedback.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 19, 2023, 04:08:31 PM
I had a free bet once and used that to create a 4-5 legged multi then it all came down to that one final leg. I decided to hedge that free bet because it was a decent amount of winnings to miss out on and went to deposit so I could still secure a good chunk of profit regardless of whoever came out on top. After the match ended, my free bet parlay still won, and my hedge felt like it was all for nothing. I wouldn't say hedging at the time was a mistake, but that could've been my biggest win recently if I rode the bet until the end.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 19, 2023, 02:55:01 PM
It is a Drow carry and it did not go well for them. Entity took the first map. I did not watch the match but it was just 33 minutes so it might be one-sided match. They have a better draft in Map 2 with IO-Lesh combo so it might be a draw after all. Sorry about your first bet.
On top of that, Nisha's Snapfire didn't have any impact at all, while Entity's Invoker was on point with the setups and gave TA an easy time to land the right clicks.

OG is disappointing to watch, they're the only team in Group B without a win and fumbled the second game against beastcoast.

Quest still performing great, currently with a 4-0 record, and might take the top spot in Group B.
