1301  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest, now with .ONION address on: June 29, 2020, 07:58:32 PM
At the end of the day, doesn't matter if it is a good idea or a bad idea, yolodice should have ETH investment not just because it would be profitable for the casino but it would be profitable for the investors as well. Think of a situation where you would be capable of investing into yolodice and also stake at the same time, you would make a ton of money. Plus ethereum is the second biggest coin in the world right now behind bitcoin, which means if you have an option to invest ETH it would get so much more attention than any other coin except bitcoin.

This is why it will probably have a huuuuge bankroll as well and when you have huuuuge bankroll you will have a higher max bet chance as well which means a bigger chance of whales coming in and losing a ton of money here as well (even maybe on other coins too).
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 29, 2020, 06:20:43 PM
We have seen numerous times people complain about unsolicited charges by banks which is not almost possible in cryptocurrencies if you're to save your money on Bitcoin or any other valuable cryptocurrency.

It begs me to ask this question; is it possible for one to move physical currencies to Crypto exchanges without passing through the Bank?
That depends on what you mean. You said cash and cash is physical money that you hold in your hands or physical wallets.
If you have some physical cash and you would like to move them into your cryptocurrency, then you will have to look for local exchanges that will accept the cash from you and then fund your cryptocurrency wallet with an equivalent amount.

But if you’re referring to fiat money that you have in your bank account, then you can just make use of an exchange/cryptocurrency wallet that will allow you to fund your account using your debit cards. Once you make the payment the gets sent to your wallet. BitPay allows people to fund their Bitcoin wallet using Visa or MasterCard cards.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn at arbitrage on: June 29, 2020, 05:21:08 PM
I see this is a old thread but actually very good topic and I want to put my 2 cents of knowledge here.

Generating crypto by arbitrage is not as simple as we imagine, not just moving coins from one exchange to another, to get profit from the price difference between exchanges. But it is more complex than we imagine, because it is very important to calculate withdrawal fees from exchanges. Do not let the profits that we generate run out cut off by withdrawal fees, our calculations must be precise.
You can easily overcome the problem of withdrawal fees and trading fees by using a bigger bankroll actually and yeah for arbitrage you need to have a big purse and high limits on exchange because trading $10 on arbitrage trades will result in loss overall after all fees reduction.

I agree that it is a bit more complex because the market moves pretty fast and by the time you bought a coin and then deposit it to another crypto exchange and waiting for confirmations might ruin the arbitrage possibility. I used to do this with bitcoins like an year or two ago where I would buy btc from btc-e (unfortunately now closed ) and I would sell it on other platforms with good profit but that soon stopped as the market became very liquid with the popularity bitcoins gained with time and more people jumped into trading.
1304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: June 29, 2020, 09:43:22 AM
If we are talking about cryoto related investment and trading decisions then its all about the current market situation and how the future will be for the coin matters.
That is the reason I usually don't invest into any coins during the ICO phase or initial listing phase because any unstable coin will be dumped right after the ICO and the good ones will regain some value and stand strong. Airdropped coins are another example, they just get mauled once they hit exchanges because everyone got them for free so now they want to just sell it even if they are selling it for 1% of the actual worth of coin.

To get an idea about this you need to know how to analyse the potential level of a project, what is happening around the world related to cryptos and also make sure development of that particular coin as well.
No matter how nicely and deeply you analyse the market and try to make the best possible decision but the reality is that the market is so volatile and full of whales (talking about alt coins here) that you don't know what time the coin just becomes dust and no one gets a chance to even dump at the original value at which you purchased it.
1305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade & investment is getting harder and harder. on: June 27, 2020, 08:44:52 PM
I understand that there could be people who love to trade so much that they can't stop trading.
Or people who just see the movements and think that they are missing out a lot and want to be a part of it.
No one loves trading as far as from my experience to be honest because it requires constant focus and brings strain but yeah I agree with you a lot of guys feel like they are missing out and that FOMO is what also make people buy some shit coins.

none of those things are right thing to do since trading is not something you should do when you want to but a thing you should do when you find the right moment. Without getting to that right moment (usually bottom if you want to buy and peak when you want to sell) doing anything would hurt you overall. So, just keep waiting and do not act on anything unless you are absolutely forced to.

There is no way you know the right moment anyways so that doesn't make sense to me and a good trader finds opportunity out of nowhere and if you are waiting for the absolute best price to sell/buy for an asset you sometime miss out on that or hold it for too long.

The only reason why trading is looking harder and harder is because everyone is doing it and the market is pretty saturated now so you can't just do it as easily as earlier and even whales struggle to profit now a days because they cant influence the market to the desired value and that is actually good for the market in general.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: June 27, 2020, 07:42:46 PM
The trouble is not going to last forever but as long as population rises it will eventually lead to the same thing over and over again. System makes sure that there are crashes time to time which results with middle class to poor class all going down while rich and wealthy get saved, which means they will eventually get to a level where they are too rich and will want to hire more people to become richer obviously.

However, they will once again crash and get bailed out meanwhile firing millions of people and this cycle will continue forever. Remember 2008? There was millions of people out of a job and in big debts back in those days as well. So at the end of the day, this firing period will end and there will be a hiring period but there will be another firing period in the future as well, we have to manage to stop that one.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 27, 2020, 04:42:29 PM
There is no way it could even slow down USDT and you know why? Because USA still is the biggest country in the world when we are talking about power and economy. Definitely china could have manufacturing places but I can guarantee you, if they create any problems for anyone, people could move to other cheaper nations, they could literally change the whole Africa to be an awesome continent as a whole with amount of money China makes from import export business and it would be even cheaper.

So right now, China is not powerful for right reasons, they do not have money for right reasons. "We are superb cheap and we do not care about human life" is not the same power as "we have big guns and quite stressed, do not test us!" type of power. So, USDT will never be tested by any official Chinese digital yuan let alone an official USD stable coin by the government which would be insanely bigger.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: A very positive sign: 39% of companies now have blockchain in production on: June 26, 2020, 08:04:29 PM
This doesn’t really make the price of cryptocurrencies to grow, though it does have its own effects as it will be creating more awareness on Blockchain, as there are big chances that people will ask questions or research about Blockchain that they would get to also know about Bitcoin, so that’s a plus. It will be creating awareness for both Blockchain and Bitcoin. When people see Bitcoin they might be interested in it and if they happen to invest money, that’s more growth.

the block-chain is pioneering the future of the world economy and with the bright minds and ideas block-chain integration can reach to more people worldwide.
It is proven that blockchain technology is accelerating business growth through innovative improvements on traditional business practices. We can expect adoption of blokchain technology slowly will lead to massive adoption of bitcoin in all business related sectors first and then its dependent sectors.

Currently top layer companies are into blockchain adoption but only for less than 10% business operations that may be due to blockchain integration has not been innovated in all end to end business process yet. When entire business process to be integrated along with blockchain technology we can expect big growth everywhere.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 26, 2020, 04:41:25 PM
Broadcaster is still a fun thing to do and I am sure he would be fine with it.

There has been so many people who have said that they have no intention of coaching at all and still came back because they keep those close friendships with players and the staff and front office so when they get a call to come to a practice and chat with the kids to rise the morale a bit after a loss they actually do it, then another one and another one and what do you know they are now in the staff.

That is exactly what happened to Tim Duncan actually, dude wanted to just live a relax life and have fun and Pop probably kept asking him to come to practice anyway and eventually that lead to him being an assistant coach right now.

I am not saying it will be like that for Vince neither, I am just saying not wanting to be a coach right now doesn't mean he won't want it in the future as well.
1310  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 26, 2020, 03:36:25 PM
I wouldnt go that far. Of course its a huge change having that money from one moment to the other. I mean that
Money is love changing! There are people that win the lottery and become suicidal, they dont know How to act with all the money towards friends and family.
Yes, I understand that money is a big change however how could it be bad? I mean look at it this way, this dude has money a bit, he also can gamble on a crypto crash website and win 200+ bitcoin. This means he is not one of those people who are starving to death and boiling shoes in Venezuela so that they do not die.

Of course there are plenty of reasons to suicide and I get it but I am just trying to paint you a picture of what type of life he might have. It could still be very bad but if you live in a place with infrastructure that helps you get online and gamble, that means with 200 bitcoins you could at least buy a great house and a great car and help pay all your debt and even some of your families debt as well. How could this make you feel any worse than you are feeling now? How could 200 bitcoin could lead to anything worse?
1311  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 25, 2020, 08:23:40 PM
At the end of the day dude won a ton of money and he should be happy for it right?

I mean I don't know the reasons behind wanting to not live anymore and there could be a ton of reasons and could be quite serious reasons as well, there are so many bad things going on in the whole world and one of them could have happened to the gambler, he could be living the worst life in the whole earth (doubtful if he has access to internet and funds to gamble).

However we are talking about 200+ bitcoins, around 2 million dollars, that is a ton of money and I don't care how bad your life is, if you win 2 million dollars it is a good thing and not a bad thing, no matter what is going on with your life. So, I assume the theory that he acted as if suicidal to disappear so that nobody would follow and try to hack him or dox him to get some money out of him.
1312  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER ♣️ Hold'em✅ PLO✅ Mixed✅ MTT✅ ♣️ BBJ🌟 ♣️ BIG BTC🏆 on: June 25, 2020, 07:04:21 PM
Two players stole all the midstakes players and brought them to other sites. These sites are much better, so people play there. They won't come back.

I warned of this but SWC didn't think they should do anything against it in their chat.

Can you explain? This is the first I'm hearing about this.

Cliffnotes: There are agent sites where agents make money signing people up. The guy with the most krill on SWC has successfully recruited everyone with money to go there instead. They do everything SWC does much better.

I think SWC can explain the rest.
First of all if you are claiming something like that you should at least provide some sort of proof with it as well. Secondly SwC has been around for a loooooong time and they have always been known as a place that has not so many people, it is not like a brand new thing that they got less people nowadays, they probably have around the same number of people they always had, the trouble is not that they have less, it is that they always had so little.

That is not really a bad thing for the gambler though, sure it is bad for SwC because the more gamblers means more rake they would profit however for the gambler you can check games and tables and sit at the most crowded table and that is enough, even if there is 5 people in all of SwC at one time, you can get together and play together, so it shouldn't really bother people as long as you do not insist on a game and blinds.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: June 25, 2020, 05:57:17 PM
Coronavirus has hit economies very badly and put the world into recession phase. People around the globe have no money to eat, to travel or to buy anything. This pandemic has hit the trading world as well because people now a days dont have large amount of funds to invest in trading.

Yes, many countries are facing issues with Coronavirus because daily labor is losing their work and this makes many people are don't have money to eat food. This pandemic makes many people kept their money aside for living and not for trading.
Ever since this topic was created it affected trading in all directions and it is a bit confusing to see as well. First it affected because traders were afraid and sold, after that it was hopeful because everyone saw it was low and realized bitcoin worths more and bought, after that it got so high that people thought it was too much and sold, now for a while people think corona is not really a huge issue anymore (still big but we are not stuck at home and dying by tens of thousands every day) so they stopped.

Like this is three directions bitcoin price could go, up/down/stable and all of it happened all due to corona. It is a marvel and still confusing that one thing could affected another in every single direction like it did. That is why it was so hard to trade during this period for thousands of people.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: June 24, 2020, 06:30:21 PM
Do not try to give him directions on how he could become a better trader, sometimes it is not just about being a good trader or a bad trader. Sometimes it is about just not being for the trading world which is different than many other jobs, there is too many highs and too many lows and so forth where it is really not that easy.

Certainly most of it is about money but you can't really help someone to make more profit if they are not good at it and there is really no blueprint on how to make a profit on bitcoin because if there was there would be a ton of people using that including me and you and probably rest of the world because we all want to make profit. So, some people are not born traders and there is no way we could help them become one and should just let them be whatever they want.
1315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL AT CRYPTO TRADING on: June 24, 2020, 04:15:44 PM
Investment usually happens to help the invested as well, like for example ICO where you invest but the money you sent should be used to increase the price of that coin as well and that works for both of you, the price of coin increases so you get profit but they get money so they could work on it and increase that said price.

In bitcoin it is not like that anymore, it is more like investing into a commodity and not a business, it is digital and it is scarce and there is really a good amount of demand for it whereas there is limited supply of it every day so you can say what people have been saying, bitcoin is digital gold. So, when you are investing into gold do you expect to get rich over night? No. So, you should not do that with bitcoin neither and focus on profiting long term.

More the level you put efforts into something then it will gain more the value; no exception for your posts as well.
1318  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: June 22, 2020, 06:19:23 PM
I understand that topic is all about the people who talk to themselves. Just dealing with newbies, these topics cannot be the same.

What motivates you to post on bullshit topics that will be deleted?
I am not capable of identifying a bullshit topic but I do believe mods are. Why not Mods go working in a manner reacting to such topics well before even launched rather than allowing shit topics for days?

I still believe that we should keep the freedom of all users here.
They can still enjoy all the freedom if they are having a reason for a topic to be launched. Just delaying the launch of a topic cannot impact level of freedom IMO.
1319  Other / Meta / How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: June 22, 2020, 05:58:39 PM
Last 2 weeks, I noticed lost of topics got deleted and then I learned these are most common here as low value/repeated  topics/discussions are being removed continuously.

I do choose the topics more carefully still I find my count varies time to time. It is really disappointing to see after writing posts up to the level of feeling pain on my mind.

Any possible solution for this year long existing problem?

I guess if newbies and few other low rank members will be restricted to get approval on their topic, we may somehow solve the hassles of frequent removal of topics.

Even not across all boards of this forum, restrictions of few discussion boards may help many active posters here.

Instead of catching low quality topics, now Mods may need to work on approving new/innovative/needed topics.

[People do get notification on deletion of their own post. They must feel responsible for their inappropriate post. But, disappearance of a topic itself where one poster has contributed with all efforts and time, is definitely not the poster's mistake hence I think this needs to be addressed as early as possible Smiley.]
