1301  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoin become untraceable after going thru a gambling site or exchange on: August 19, 2015, 07:00:14 AM
The blockchain trail is lost, but you still have to obfuscate your identity with the website.

But if you have used multiple sites (say, your wallet→PrimeDice→SatoshiDice→DaDice→your wallet) in the process, each individual site can't trace your coin unless they all share their customer information.
which they might be required to do if LE gets involved to a certain extent; using a mixer to erase any and all taint is a better option imo.
1302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way for earning bitcoins on: August 19, 2015, 06:33:55 AM
The best way earning bitcoin is join signature campaign, especially if you have high rank you will earn many bitcoin. and don't forget you can also rent your avatar too. You can also earn bitcoin by join giveaway in games and round section.

avatar campaign is worthless
I do not want to join the campaign avatar

some of them only pay 0.01 for 1 month
a few dollars for changing your avatar picture, whats so bad about that? its just a picture, of course theyre not going to pay exorbitant amounts for that. its a way to monetize your forum account in the end, and its your choice to employ it or not.

I can give this loan to you but can you tell me why your address was mentioned here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1088653.msg12156676#msg12156676
alt account/account farming most likely; i was just about to ask that too. seems op intended to make this thread self-moderated to prevent this from being asked, but forgot to do so.

1305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: August 19, 2015, 03:10:57 AM
I think Blockchain.info suffered some severe slowness a little while ago with unconfirmed transactions, so I use blockr.IO as a backup if Blockchain.info is down.
unconfirmed transactions have nothing to do with blockchain.info itself, as inept as that company is. if transactions are not confirming, then it would be that the miners are unable to guess the hashes to solve the blocks.

also, this is not a scam accusation, more forum related, consider moving this to meta. also, iirc burgerkill is a bought account, he likely has other alts.

1308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 19, 2015, 01:33:20 AM
Absolutely blockchain.info. It is the best and the only official online wallet, it's great, I advice you to try it. You can set the 2FA or other settings, it is very easy to register and use it. Let me know here if you like it Smiley

ill restate:

Oh thank you so much its so clearly, finally i've knew the differnce between wallet and exchanger

Good -- this is a very important distinction. Always remember the cardinal rule: If you don't control the private keys, you don't control the bitcoin. Doesn't matter what your "account balance" says on a website. Gox users found that out the hard way.

To the OP.... online wallets are pretty meh.... blockchain.info if you gotta, since at least you control the keys. But I'd stick to a good desktop wallet like Electrum.
i wouldnt recommend blockchain.info even as a last resort; ive stated my points on this earlier as well, but tl;dr, their explorer accepts spoofed transactions as valid. there was a whole debacle about satoshi's coins moving some time ago, and it was discovered that this issue only existed on blockchain.info because of this spoofed tx issue. now assuming their wallets work off the blockchain.info block explorer's data, their wallets are vulnerable to abuse.
i really wish people would stop blindly referring to blockchain.info as "the best" without even remembering to consider their past problems. even recently, it was brought up that someone had spoofed transactions to make it appear that satoshi's coins had moved from his address, when no other block explorer showed it.
1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way for earning bitcoins on: August 19, 2015, 01:31:19 AM
faucet is better way for beginner
i see new faucet every day at sub forum micro earning
It shows there are still many people who use it

Nah, faucets are a scam. If you want to be a bum on the internet and get paid make a reddit account, get some karma and then sell it in the digital goods subforum. Anywhere from $5-15 in BTC for one account with decent karma whereas with a faucet you are lucky if you get a penny a day.

There is a scam faucet? What faucet is it? I want to know or just PM me. This is the first time I heard about a scam faucet. So you mean you have to invest in that faucet in order to have bigger claims, big returns or something like that? Hmmm.
i think he is just misusing the word "scam," he most likely meant to say that faucets are not worth the time, and they honestly arent.

35xKpcMSvY7KwpTeM6ckqTSvMSWuGgroH5

Loan amount request: 0.007BTC
Reason:Need to buy a domain name
Collateral: Bitcointalk Account
Term Length: within 24 hours
Interest: 0.002BTC
Bitcoin Address: 35xKpcMSvY7KwpTeM6ckqTSvMSWuGgroH5
Amount to Repay: 0.009BTC

same address used in a giveaway from a different account; user is likely account farming and has no intention to repay this "loan."

i think the iWokeUpLate is banned. check the last post of that account and you will notice
if that account is op's alt and is banned, that would mean op is currently evading a ban, in which case the account he posted the op from could get banned at any moment now, which would render that account worthless.

just because iwokeuplate hasnt posted in a few weeks doesnt mean much; account farmers dont need to post that often anyways, just at least once per activity period.
1311  Economy / Digital goods / Re: selling member account on: August 19, 2015, 01:22:56 AM
does the account have any green positive feedback?

also your price is negotiable or no? cause I seen some people pay for way less.. if I can find the thread ill provide it.. not being a douche about it though.

Account shows0/0 trust. Has red trust from non default due to requesting a loan without collateral. Has positive post from non default as well. Would probably go for .02
can you prove that you own the account by signing a message from a bitcoin address posted at least 1 or 2 months ago? dodging this question will only raise suspicion that the account you are selling is hacked.

in addition, you should address these details:

You should give more details like potential activity, signed signature, post quality, ban history etc.

Thank you subSTRATA for your excellent review and good ideas for improvement.

I will think of some nice way to display the PGP message instead of only having a download link and the same goes with different steps of random time delay.

Coins sent.
i confirm that ive received this amount as promised.

Hello. I'm new to crytocurrencys as well.

I've made a wallet on cryptonator.com - does anyone have any experience with it or recommend something more user friendly?
havent heard too much on that service, I would recommend you download a wallet program such as multibit for a more user-friendly wallet or electrum if you want to have more control over what you can do with your coins.

quite possible, if it verifies on your end im going to assume its a problem on my end for now, having a problem with links in messages isnt unheard of.

password changed recently, but the address is identical to one posted a few months ago:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1066870.msg11434693#msg11434693
unedited since the posting date as well, no point in asking for a signed message for anyone looking to give this loan.
1318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: August 18, 2015, 07:25:20 PM
You do realize guys that you can earn 1 BTC/day, and not /year.

There are many trading and investments that yield that much, not ponzi, but real altcoins and other type of good investments.

There are many opportunities in the crypto world, some with big ROI!!

I did this once, and luckily I got 300% from an altcoin. It's not that hard to spot a coin which will go big. Smiley
i have some coin to spare and some time on my hands, any advice for spotting those altcoins?
1319  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.02 loan. on: August 18, 2015, 07:03:34 PM
I am just saying, If you thought of this another way of selling the account, I am not accusing you just telling you what can happen. And you need to calm down a bit mate
that method of selling an account wouldnt really fir the scenario; its a tactic mostly employed by account farmers, and it wouldnt make sense for him to sell his other account in this fashion since his main account would be tagged with -ve trust, rendering it worthless.
