1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 18, 2023, 08:36:13 PM
Actually, if you look at it from another point of view, parents who really know that their current situation is quite different from before, they won't say things like this.
Indeed, in today's conditions the Internet is something that does have difficult conditions because apart from the positive things of course there are also negative things so banning is also not a good reason, it's just that when giving access we also have to provide more insight to children about the dangers of the Internet, that is is the job of the parents. The problem with banning it is because they themselves don't understand how to control themselves on the Internet so it's quite natural for them to ban it even though it can be said that it's not quite right in my opinion.
1302  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: March 17, 2023, 07:24:25 PM
I think everyone has recently felt the rise in prices for consumer goods,in my country everything has risen by 25-30 percent and I don’t see a downward trend in the near future. I began to spend less money on leisure and began to save more,I also carefully look at the price of goods before buying them.
It's the same in my country. Daily necessities continue to increase. but the increase is happening slowly. and what I really regret is that in my country even though for example inflation has fallen but strangely the prices have not fallen at all. like for example gasoline fuel which continues to increase every year and the increase has even occurred from before inflation increased. and of course when the price of fuel goes up, the prices of other goods automatically go up. and never come back down. and what is very concerning is that the wages of employees are increasing much slower than the increase in daily needs.
The current condition is not only about one country but the possibility that all countries will experience the same impact, especially in terms of increase, the big and superpower countries are currently experiencing problems basically and this will obviously be felt more for relatively smaller countries.
I think conditions like this will also continue to exist until economic conditions improve, but for now with inflation and recession looming, it is certain that things like this will be even more suffocating.

Anybody know who was handed the man of the match in the Arsenal match? Am hoping it was given to Antonio Adan.. the the Sporting goalkeeper who kept Arsenal from proceeding to the next round..what a game  Cool
I agree with this because indeed, seeing from his performance in this match, Adan really deserves to be used as MOTM in this match. Not only was he about to save Gabriel Martineli's shot he also made some excellent saves throughout normal and extra team time although Pote's strike for the equalizer was absolutely spectacular.

Arsenal against Porto is definitely worth watching
I believe you mean Sporting, Port was knocked out by Inter Milan.
Arsenal against Porto is definitely worth watching although admittedly they must now accept the fact that they have to be knocked out in the last 16 now.
You mean Sporting and not Porto Wink
Thanks mate for correcting my mistake Smiley yep I mean Sporting because Porto plays in a different competition.

Penalties are clearly a matter of mentality and in this match Gabriel Martineli failed to carry out his role which knocked Arsenal out.
I don't blame a team losing with penalties since there is a huge hazardous part but I blame Arsenal not being apt to kick Sporting since the 1st leg, or even before playing penalties in the second leg..
No one can really be blamed in this matter because of course we know that conditions like that are obviously very difficult.
Martineli also, apart from his mistakes, he failed to kick a penalty, in fact his performance during the match was quite good and he also couldn't have wanted to miss it, it was just that bad luck befell him when he was trusted as the kicker.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 16, 2023, 11:17:46 PM
I don't think the stars that are currently playing for PSG has the ability to make the team achieve it's goal which is winning the Champions league. The performance of PSG has not gotten better than before even after playing the three dangerous players  Messi , Mbappe and Naymer yet they are yet to perform very well ,  PSG needs to get more younger player so that the players will add more seriousness to the team So that they will have goal getters . PSG should either get rid of the big names in the club so that there will will competition else I don't see them winning any competition this season.

The problem in this case is probably in terms of the coach.
Because no matter how good the players are when they are not accompanied by a qualified coach, they will always remain the same.
It's not that Galtier isn't good, it's just that he's still not good enough to bring a club as big as PSG with his current star players because he doesn't really have much experience to compete in the big leagues.
PSG really have to understand this because forcing their will with coaches like Poche and Galtier now is not going to be the right solution for their players.

Even so, it can't be blamed either because it's also very difficult for the task of kicking.
The bright side is that they can focus more in the EPL now.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 10:01:34 PM
I'm sure a lot of us here hat goals in Real - Liverpool right ? The game really looked like no one could score if no one makes a mistake or big luck is involved and that is exactly what happened because Real scored by luck in my opinion but on the other side , Liverpool had no power to score 1 goal ? I mean , it doesn't even looked they were trying or maybe Real is really that good in defense.
Liverpool are not confident about a comeback to even qualify for the quarter-finals, I think it is also difficult for Liverpool to score 4 goals against Madrid without replying, on the contrary, Madrid scored 1 additional goal in this second leg, I think people already know yesterday's match the result is that madrid will advance to the quarter-finals.  Wink
They didn't even make a real breakthrough in the second half as their scheme read Madrid.
In the second half, Madrid really controlled the game, even the long bait that Madrid always did was very successful to make it difficult for Liverpool to anticipate that.
Klopp also couldn't do much here because they were already difficult in the first half and the second half had no chance of a comeback.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 16, 2023, 09:47:48 PM
-snip-
La Liga still leaves 13 matches. Barcelona is still in the lead at the moment. some strong teams and some teams that should be able to make Read positive won it. this does require consistency to achieve it. but more people believe Xavi and Barca will earn La Liga caps this season. and it will be a great job for Xavi and the team.
this will be a great start for next season. hopefully, Barcelona can achieve it.
I'll also believe maybe because of their record this season, if saw at the 25 matches they can really dominated La Liga, only get 2 loses 2 draw so far and rest of 21 matches they can won. I think this is a very good La Liga record for them and if Xavi can keep Barcelona winning streak in the rest of this season, maybe this will be a new record too in their history, even can better than their record when Messi and Neymar at there.
Actually it's still something that is very good for them but now there are still quite a lot of games, it would be great if they did that but even if they don't, as long as Madrid also can't develop their game and can't bring in points I think it's still better for them Barcelona now.
In terms of points, actually the only thing that can hinder Barcelona from bringing the trophy is just bad luck now and as long as they don't have that then they can clearly be said to be champions from now on even though there are still a lot of matches.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's Price after got exploited on: March 16, 2023, 09:27:06 PM
You can't tell if it will come back to its former price even if the liquidity will be provider by its developer. You know with these projects, they hide on the back of reasoning that they've been hacked and the hacker has dumped all the tokens to make it believe that they've got nothing to do with the project's price dump. It's up to you whether you'll believe those words and have hope for them but, sad to say that in the altcoin market, it's typical to see projects come and go. Value goes up for quite some time and then will be dumped in an instant by whoever's behind the liquidity of that project. I'm not discouraging you but that's one harsh reality of these projects and developers who have been working with projects and you should not expect anything from it anymore.
I think this is obviously going to be a bit difficult. It is rare to see a project that has been drained of funds return to normal as before and this may only happen for projects that are quite large. but for the current conditions, looking at existing projects, I think this is difficult, it tends to be impossible, especially when seeing them being hacked, this shows that they are still very weak, even though there will definitely be some improvements to this, but will we still be one hundred percent confident in its security again.
Yeah, aside from the fact that they've admitted that they were hacked. Most investors of it have followed the dumping scene and that has reduced a lot of liquidity from them and not just that, but also the trust from those investors that have made their decisions to finally leave the project.
It's why I've said that OP should no longer expect anything from this project because it's a clear vision that it's already on that pattern of being dead. But who knows if the devs are truthful to their words and they can do something to drive its market off that dying path.
With what we've used to see from these projects, the devs have got some influence for their liquidity and market but somehow, this might be the point of their lives that they can't do anything with it anymore.
The concern and honesty of the developer must also be supported by the presence of investors and when there is no such thing then this is indeed increasingly difficult because of course making prices return to stability and as before it requires prime design conditions and of course adequate finances to support it.
So now it depends on that. Even though I actually still agree with what you said about don't expect too much from it.

1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ponzi Schemes - People are confused. on: March 15, 2023, 07:59:00 PM
Thanks for fighting the good fight and setting the record straight, but this discussion has been up since time immemorial, that at this point all that one really needs to disprove this "bitcoin = ponzi" logic is to get their lazy asses of the couch and do a quick google search. Some people have been very enthusiastic about this debate back in 2018 when this is still a pressing topic but as what some people in this thread have mentioned, there are other more important topics at hand that should be given focus.
The problem for now is that even if we try hard to convince everyone that it's not ponzi I don't think it will be taken too seriously because there are several factors like there are still many people who are skeptical and there are still many naive people who fall for scams in bitcoin.
Even though it's not Bitcoin's fault, it still has a stigma like that. I think the most important thing in this case is to establish to yourself and those closest to you that it is wrong because you also cannot force other people's opinion that this is not ponzi either.

We know what his form was like at Chelsea but the injury problems that plagued him at Madrid completely ruined his career. When we talk about respect of course it has to be, but indeed the condition he is in right now doesn't really reflect a good player especially his career is over now.
It's really unfortunate how Hazard career went out in the middle of other players who aspired to be at a club as big as Real Madrid. But for Hazard he was just unlucky. Injuries hit him for quite a long time, so that Ancelotti was reluctant to put him on the field. Now the opportunities are dwindling for him and I'm quite concerned considering at Chelsea of course Hazard performed brilliantly.
The first impression of being overweight when he arrived in 2019 also made him underestimate Madrid a little in terms of competition for the real main place, coupled with injuries that always kept him sidelined for a long time clearly made him even more left out and this was really a failure for 115 million players euro.
At the moment his condition is a bit worse because it is said he has a strained relationship with Ancelotti which if this is true then it is already very difficult for him to get a chance in the first squad to play.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 05:06:51 PM
Real madrid's odd is really good at this moment. it seems like that if stake was offering a slightly better odds. Liverpool has no choice other than going all offensive against real madrid. Making three goals against real madrid was the hardest thing that will be tried by liverpool. I personally think that if liverpool has no chance to win since it was losing 3-0 as aggregates against real madrid. That reminds me of another match. PSG was losing in the first leg and it's also doing the same thing as liverpool.

Liverpool will be eliminated by real madrid as soon as possible.

In this case, maybe the bookmakers see something else, such as the possibility that Madrid will play safer and aim for a draw in this match with only a focus on defending to keep Liverpool from scoring goals.
However, the current aggregate is comfortable enough for them and they don't need to bother to win this match.
The most important thing is that they don't concede more than 3 goals, that's enough for Madrid at the moment.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 14, 2023, 01:30:47 PM
I can't say anything about Porto and Inter either. I can only guess that Inter can win this game, but away in Portugal it will be very difficult. All the more so because Inter's first game was a shaky one and we can say that the win came from a red card. It will be interesting to see what Inter can show today.

It is predicted that this match will run tough both teams will fight until the last minute because this is a decisive match
if we look at the gambling market Inter is indeed the favorite but that's just a prediction the final result can not be determined
my bet choice is still on both teams to score Potro should not repeat the same mistake.
I think the same as you here. The match will obviously be very tough and this condition will be the same as what happened in the first round.
But even so, I think in this game Inter will still be in control even though they will be playing away but it won't make it difficult for them in this position. but for the problem of victory I think this is still difficult to predict.
the reason is clear, the conditions of the two can still be said to be comparable.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 14, 2023, 01:02:45 PM
Actually for me personally when talking about altcoins I don't like to say there is another raj here because in my opinion everything is definitely the same, namely altcoins there are no kings or anything else.
It's just that I think everyone will agree when we talk about altcoins, then indeed in the minds of most people, of course, they will remember Ethereum there. But again there is no king in altcoins for me because everything stays the same.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 14, 2023, 12:46:02 PM
On the field, Eden Hazard is a fantastic and adaptable player. He won trophies with Chelsea and was a vital member of the team, and the London fans adored him for every amazing performance at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea. He gained their respect by excelling on the field. Since moving to Real Madrid, the Santiago Bernabeu has been a new place for Hazard, and it seems impossible for him to display his best form there. The Belgian has suffered from numerous injuries, and it's likely that he finds it difficult to fit into Carlo Ancelotti's squad. He is still playing for Real Madrid, and his ultimate goal is to come back to his best and resume enjoying the game.
I also like and respect him when he was playing in London, he is great at premier league in his time. Currently he still a part of Real Madrid squad, but Ancelotti has rarely used this man although also Hazard currently uninjured. Actually I believe Hazard will show another fantastic game and may be able return to his best performance, but with less playtime I'm afraid It will not happen.
Hazard's performance was swallowed up by the earth after he moved to Madrid. Now he is only a display in the team because he mostly plays as a backup.

We know what his form was like at Chelsea but the injury problems that plagued him at Madrid completely ruined his career. When we talk about respect of course it has to be, but indeed the condition he is in right now doesn't really reflect a good player especially his career is over now.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 12, 2023, 07:27:26 PM
La Liga president have been throwing different kind of attacks on Barcelona. Its as he has a personal vendetta against the club. It makes no sense. See how he's still fighting them for the registration of Gavi into the first team, he even took the case to court after Barcelona found a way to register him last minute.

I don't know if this started from Real Madrid. But in the news I read in my country, it was because of the prosecutor's suspicion in investigating the taxes of companies owned by Negreira. It was revealed that there was a flow of money from Barcelona. Indeed, until now there has been no official leveling from Barcelona. But maybe in the near future they will soon be summoned by the Prosecutor's Office in Spain. Let's see if it is indeed proven in the end, perhaps Barca will receive severe punishment.

I heard a few days ago on TV that the referee used to withdraw like 10k EUR from ATMs every day Shocked

On the other hand, although Real Madrid was relatively silent until now, it seems that the Board of Directors will approve today the appearance of the club in the Negreira case, once the complaint from the Prosecutor's Office is admitted for processing.

Source: As.com
Currently the conditions are not favorable for Barcelona. not only about the regime that is currently in power but also about some that have already finished such as Josep Maria Bartomeu, Sandro Rosell, Oscar Grau and Albert Soler who are allegedly involved in this matter.
At least one possible punishment has been issued, namely not being allowed to participate in the Champions League if this is proven and it is not impossible that there will be several conditions worse than this if they are guilty.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 12, 2023, 06:42:36 PM
The second leg match that I think is quite interesting is Porto vs Inter. We know that in the domestic league, Inter often experience inconsistencies to win and they often find it difficult to break down the need to score goals. Meanwhile, Porto in the domestic league has performed quite well so far, but the problem is that in the second leg against Inter they (Porto) will not be strengthened by one of Otavio's key players after receiving a red card in the first leg. However, as the host, Porto certainly has more motivation to surpass the aggregate points and at this time, even though Inter are superior, 1 point on aggregate is not enough to make them safe in the match later.
This will be a little difficult to predict because the conditions are the same as when Tottenham met Milan and Chelsea met Dortmund.
The condition of the two teams is still possible at this time even though the aggregate is 1 goal for Inter. But when looking at the first leg, 1 goal can also be considered as luck in my opinion, so this condition can still happen for Porto and Inter in this match.
Whatever the result, I will clearly enjoy this fight without betting because in my opinion, the risk is still quite large.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 12, 2023, 06:24:46 PM
In conditions like this I think when indeed we are able enough to be there online jobs like this are rife as a sideline now because regardless of anything now there are already several sites that offer payments via crypto it's just that maybe there will be some obstacles if indeed we only looking for a job but our qualifications are still lacking so it remains only to see the seriousness of ourselves whether we are indeed capable of doing that or not later.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 12, 2023, 05:51:51 PM
Arsenal's game was very good and also dominated the game, and in the first half Arsenal managed to score 3 goals against Fulham, and played at home to Fulham. And I think this result makes Arsenal win this game for sure and there is even a possibility that the goals will increase, even if Fulham can score.
and 3 goals came from assists by Leandro Trossard and he really played very well and provided accurate passes to score, and goals came from Gabriel Magalhaes 21, Gabriel Martinelli 26 and Martin Odegaard 45+2.
It's good enough to see their performance in the first half because this is what is expected of Arsenal, especially with this condition the point margin with Manchester City is being maintained now.
On the other hand, at first I actually felt that this would be a slightly difficult victory because seeing Fulham when facing the top 4 teams was always troublesome but for their rhythm Arsenal had mastered them in the first half so 3 goals could not be avoided.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: March 11, 2023, 04:33:00 PM
ETH does have much better conditions compared to other altcoins and being there can still be quite good but given the current conditions I think being there is still a high risk, and it's better to wait a little longer because as we know bitcoin still can't be said fully stable and on the rise, so it's better to wait a little longer if you really want to be there although my advice is still for bitcoin but when you want to be in altcoins like ETH I think this can still be done.

You are right, now is not the right time to invest in altcoins because we don't know if bitcoin will continue to fall or not. Today, the collapse of the silicon valley bank is a red flag for the world economy, so the possibility of bitcoin being dumped is very likely. Once BTC is dumped, altcoins will be much worse, even many of them will disappear from the market map. My plan is to stand outside and observe the altcoin market, keeping my eyes only on bitcoin.
The worsening of the current recession will clearly have an impact on all aspects and indeed cryptocurrencies are also included in it so seeing conditions without the need to rush into the market is a good thing. Unless indeed we get a real reversal even though with the current conditions we just hope conditions improve quickly but when the recession and the inflation rate continues to rise then indeed all we can do is just wait and wait.
Even though the current price is actually quite worth it, it's still very risky if we only look at the short term, unless we really want to be for the longer term, then this can still be done by making regular purchases.
