1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digitization of National Currency Bring value to African Currencies? on: October 02, 2019, 06:30:13 PM
I don't think you understand that most of these Governments do not wants their currencies to gain value against USD. The more valuable your currencies is against USD the less you get through trade, just look at hat China is doing. You USD reserve is very important for Central banks and digitizing the currencies won't make it more or less valuable IMO
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important Is It To Create An Announcement Thread For New Startup? on: October 02, 2019, 06:23:17 PM
I really do not think it is necessary to open an ANN page if you won't be active on it, there are so many ANN page here that looks dead the team is no more updating investors, some people do it to be able to raise fund for their IEO/ICO but for me the most important thing if you want to raise money through this means is to get IEO on a big exchange, the exchange will do all marketing for you and you have your money at the end and also the exchange to trade on
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is 1st then? Other Alts? on: October 02, 2019, 04:51:33 PM
Bitcoin is the king and this will likely remain this way for sometime because none of the Altcoins is solving the scaling problem in a Decentralize way, Ethereum also will remain in the second position for some time and I will give Tezos chance of claiming the number 3 position, we have not seen the full potential of the project because of the legal issue in court the recent EOS fine makes me to believe their chances of winning the case has increased significantly
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Private sale in China on: October 02, 2019, 01:56:03 PM
What people are interested in is the ROI not only Chinese, not the technology because it takes long term to gain adoption, the huge ROI of 2017 and early 2018 which was insane IMO seems to be driving people's expectations when investing into Crypto and one thing I see now is that they market is maturing and we need to grasp this. I can see project now waiting for their Mainnet release before releasing their tokens for trading, these are positive signs for the space
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 02, 2019, 01:50:57 PM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

Calculating the total value fo your assets posted above, that means you sold it for $110k or more. If I were to be you, I won't invest into NEO, XEM and XRP. Bitcoin will be in it and my allocation would be 40% or more, it might not give the return on investment that some Altcoins would give but   there is quarantee with time I will get my investment back.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: October 02, 2019, 01:39:41 PM
The reality of trading cryptocurrencies is the most Traders are not actually bad Traders but the crypto market itself is very hostile and volatile for any Trader to be hugely successful from and this is because the currency market is highly unstable with thousands of cryptocurrencies trading against each other and the price movement can easily be affected by the news and what is in the media.
so a bad news from China or the USA can simply make all the prices of a good market day dump in an instant and Traders who were making profit will be beginning to lose everything
This is why I always recommend that for every trader should always take profit as you go along and don't invest your capital into the next rate

It is through volatility that a good trader makes profit, I can you expect the market not to move especially ina crypto market like this that we can witness 100% pump in price  in a single day. What is killing most people is lack of discipline, most chase their losses and resulted in more loss, I was in this class before until I started implementing stop loss, this is one of the most important thing to do when trading
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (BTCF) the new Bitcoin on: October 01, 2019, 10:58:37 PM
You mean up this coin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3111392.0? BTCF- Bitcoinfinal. Correct me if im wrong.
If not then stop shilling out that coin either your are part of the team or just a hodler that simply recommend this shit token.
Have you consider on how many coins trying to get or say that they are the new Bitcoin?

Seriously, check this coin out and follow it, currently selling at $0.008 very cheap coin. You can follow it at stellarport.io.

I bought 100 000 Bitcoin fast at very low cost, now it is getting expensive.

But tell me your honest opinion about this coin, I am the only one talking about this coin and I am not a member of the staff or anything, I just bought alot 100 000 of it

Your statement do not add up to me, why in the world did you buy something that you then need other people's opinion of it after buying unless you have a stake and interest in it. To me it seems you want to promote and shill this project to other investors to get into it. What I need more information on is how the tokens/coins was distributed. Is it through Airdrops, ICO/IEO or how? this will help promoting transparencies about the team.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto at Risk Due to Malware on: October 01, 2019, 10:51:08 PM
I have said before here that anything hack-able will be hacked it is just a matter of time, event like this help to build better security mechanism to project our asset, people need to know that it is not just hackers that is doing this some Government are doing this and the better we start looking for better ways to protect our Crypto assets
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SPECTIV: VIRTUAL REALITY + DECENTRALIZED ADS - 10,000 ETH ICO! on: October 01, 2019, 07:27:08 PM
5k SIGs for a reward is too less. I hold 69k worth tokens which are barely worth $33 at a price of $0.0004. They should have offered a reward in ETH or BTC as $2 worth tokens is a joke for creating a video review.

This is the main issue with these ICOs especially those that raised money in 2017, most of them have no cash reserve apart from the developers' tokens at their disposal, they can't sell on the market because there is no liquidity. If they are serious about marketing they need to spend to attract attention because apart from people holding this token no one is interested in it
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Spectre.ai information - Trading platform now LIVE! on: October 01, 2019, 07:11:05 PM
Token is trading on $0.2-$0.22 on exchanges when the real price should be $0.6. Team is not interested on listing the token on real big exchanges. On the telegram group, only gifs are being shared and the token has been delisted from one exchange recently. If you ask questions, nobody answers.

I personally like the project and the team seems real but now I feel people are not using the platform and the team is not doing much to attract users to their platform which is very important for the SXDTs, because it is through this that they get paid their dividends. The is the issue with most of these ICOs now, there telegram group is turning to something else, no more updates for the community.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How the regular day of bull run Will look like? What about bakkt? on: October 01, 2019, 11:17:44 AM
I have only seen a dump of the price of Bitcoin after the launch of Bakkt. Maybe it is some manipulation to buy coins at a cheap price?
I don't really know if the current price is the bottom price or not. I hope it is.

This is another buy the rumour, sell the news. I can't really say i am surprise about the price action after Bakkt launch, the excitement is no more there, the launch has been postponed several times but in general it is good for the space, because this is another gateway for big investors to enter into Crypto space
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The performance of staking coins vs non-staking coins on: October 01, 2019, 11:11:50 AM
Do you think that the performance of staking coins is generally better than non-staking coins?

The reasoning is that people learn how to stake and they bring in additional coins by doing this.  Some they sell but they realize they need to have enough to bring in the stakes.

Then the difficulty of getting stakes can go up, so it's not like the coins are flooding the market if the percentage is good.   It's like mining but only needing some of your computer power per wallet.

One average computer can run 5 or more wallets constantly staking if that's all the computer does.

The issue with Staking tokens is that initially the market react to the news and price do went up but has more and more tokens are being locked, the reward shrank and people do realize it doesn't make sense to stake again and causes selling price. I am still looking forward to how Ethereum will implement their own Staking program on their new platform
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Action in relation to Bitcoin on: October 01, 2019, 11:08:27 AM
For me I think Altcoins have chance to rally now especially after the disappointment performance of Bakkt launch which resulted in price dumped, now there is no strong fundamentals to make me bullish of BTC until the turn of the year when the hype of halving will start and people will start factoring it into the price. Altcoins have chance to rally now, Ethereum will lead the park IMO
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interperability Network | Fin-Tech Apps on: September 30, 2019, 08:34:02 PM
I hadn't use BitMax exchange before I trade Ferrum too.
I checked their volume on coinmarketcap and according to what I see there it has a good volume. It has now ranked 48th. Their volume is bigger than many of popular exchanges like Bitfinex, Kraken, Kucoin, Bittrex and many other exchanges I have used.
I recommend you to use it, its trading volume ranked 48th but it's real volume, and real liquidity, not like the other with bot and fake volume. Bitmax was invested by Bitmain, so we can believe in it and also our project Ferrum.

I try to confirm the Bitmain investment in Bitmax but couldn't find any information from any source. Bitmax start this year well and the token pumped greatly I think this was helped by the general interest  and performance of exchange tokens. The issue I have with the exchange is the likelihood of wash trading if a project has $1.5 million trading volume then the price should react especially for a project with less than $1 million Marketcap
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AXEL - TOKEN TRADING 🚀🚀 LIVE 🚀🚀 ON PROBIT EXCHANGE on: September 30, 2019, 08:18:50 PM
Guys, it's interesting to know the total supply Axel, as well as how the initial distribution took place. Where can I see this information?

I don't think the information was made public, but recently I have seen project decided to move to exchange straight without any ICO or IEO and they let the market decide the price of the token/coin. Temtum team did this recently, after the release their mainnet list their tokens on the market without ICO/IEO
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: September 30, 2019, 08:12:00 PM
Problem with Altcoins prices now is that we all the the block reward for Bitcoin but as more tokens are being unlocked some of them move to the exchange and causing selling pushing the price down, a good example is Hashgraph tokens being released almost on daily basis to the market, it would be difficult to call the bottom for most of these Altcoins
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance delisting trading pairs on: September 30, 2019, 04:19:36 PM
Just looked at those pairs delisted, apart from these 3 trading pairs that is well utilized, BTC, BNB and Ether, the others is sparingly used. I don't think it is fair to be devoting technical resources to pairs people are not interested in using, if this move is going to concentrate liquidity good for the project.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over. on: September 30, 2019, 04:12:21 PM

if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over.
just an idea, the market is still very weak and bearish

I don't think so, because with Bitcoin still at 68% dominance level a break to the lower of $7500 would cause the market to bleed more, just looked at what happened last year when the price lost the $6000 resistance level, all other Altcoins in the space lost also their resistance level, I just hope Bitcoin would regain the $8500 level fast
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: September 28, 2019, 03:56:31 PM
The biggest mistakes developers make that leads to bad ending for many projects are

1. Huge Discounts
Many new projects are still making this mistake over and over again, huge discounts like 50% is insane and it always bother me how the hell the early buyers won't end up dumping since they have already see big profits.

2. Lack Of Solid Products and Ideas
Lack of working products and real use cases is why many investors are not taking new projects very seriously, no one would want to hold such tokens or coins for long, developers need to start working on how their project's token or coin will be very demanding throughout the globe

3. Bad Exchanges
Imagine new projects that make over millions of dollars in ico or ieo and end up listing on bad exchanges with no enough volume, what do they expect to happen?

I don't think you can call Number on your list mistake, how can you compare VC and seed investors to retail investors. What they bring to the project most of the time is huge and they need to be well compensated for that, in terms of marketing and exposure to market VCs offer this, unlike retail investors that mostly care about profit and bring nothing most of the time to the table to add value to the project
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloudmining experience on: September 28, 2019, 03:50:53 PM
In 2017 i decided to give cloud mining a try and i did get to follow the best ones back then and the following are the ones that were very good until they stopped working excluding minergate and nicehash.
1 Genesing mining
2. Hashflare
3. Minergate
4. Nicehash
back then many fake and scam cloud mining websites did scam lots of people since not everyone can afford to build a mining rig but i was so lucky then until cloud mining stop been profitable, what about you guys? anyone on here that make better profits from cloud mining?
Yes I do make decent profit from HashOcean, I don't think most people here knew about the scheme, it was one of the most successful scam mining contact, ran for months and one day disappear with our money, the mistake I made was being greedy and re-invest my money back into the scheme.
