1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"? on: July 24, 2021, 03:52:58 PM
I agree as some of the members think. In the answer that is because investors see bitcoin as a store of value.
Just as we believe in bitcoin, we are supporting the fact that blockchain is disrupting finance and technology.
We have displaced the PC Internet for the mobile Internet because we spend most of the time using it.
Digital gold reminds us of physical gold that is money and has value that is why people call it that.
Peer to Peer or P2P is the main characteristic of bitcoin in its beginnings as we know but it is more common to associate it with the "store of value", digital gold, active digital.

For now bitcoin deserves to be called digital money, but we have full control and a high level of security, I never worry about keeping large amounts of bitcoin because I have a private key to make bitcoin safe from robbery like gold.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 24, 2021, 03:49:12 PM
100 years is too far away, how about we change it to 10 years, because it makes more sense to discuss and I personally believe that Bitcoin in the next 10 years will become one of the legal currencies to use as transactions, so of course it will make easier for us to transact between countries quickly and I'm sure if the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase very high too, then my prediction if the price of Bitcoin in the next 10 years will reach at least $ 500k, so of course you can still get a big profit from investing in Bitcoin right now and hold Bitcoin for the long term.

Yes that's right, 100 years is a long time and I make sure all the members here are dead, the development of technology is so fast that what we think is best for now becomes a story in the future.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: July 24, 2021, 03:47:31 PM

Few years after forcing everyone to take their gold to the bank, the US president, Nixon in 1971 stopped everyone from having the right to convert their gold to fiat. Isn't that stealing? Government resent bitcoin because they can't control it like they did in 1971. Very soon, it will be illegal to own bitcoin in some countries, not because bitcoin is bad, but because bitcoin gives you the power to own your money. Bitcoin is more real than your money in the bank. Be your own bank by investing and learning about bitcoin.

https://www.federalreservehistory.org/essays/gold-convertibility-ends

The thing that makes anyone interested in using bitcoin is anonymity, security and of course full control, this is not in fiat which is too dependent on the bank when making transactions. the other side that makes banks afraid of bitcoin, of course, is that there is no need for storage services such as administrative fees at the bank.
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Inflation in Economy. on: July 19, 2021, 01:37:59 PM
Our economy change drastically and very tangible of the eyed of everyone. We can not control the economics cycling in out of the world. More people suffer that can not afford to buy due of high demand of the prices the situation of the poor status it's getting vulnerable so it is really hard when we're in point of the high inflation more risk we can experience.

The first risk is rising food prices, everyone needs food and this makes everyone have to think extra to meet their daily needs, in my country there are many economic problems because inflation continues to increase, purchasing power decreases so that many companies close their businesses.
1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: July 19, 2021, 01:21:22 PM
In the country where I reside currently, the prices of food items have skyrocketed. Worse still is that the country is experiencing food scarcity. In this nation, I'd agree that COVID has a role to play however a small one. The government of this nation is as corrupt as the devil. Peasant farmers can't go to their farms because of the high level of insecurity. Even when they successfully harvest their crops, transporting them to other regions is almost as difficult as a camel passing through the eye a needle. This is because the goods might be highjacked.

These factors and many more have made the economic law of supply and demand to become potent. Right now, the citizens of this nation don't care anymore, all they want to do is just survive.

I think the government's role is significant, the government doesn't care about farmers, fertilizer subsidies are eliminated and imports of agricultural materials increase, this makes farmers switch jobs so that food prices are scarce and of course prices are getting more expensive.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the popularity of cryptocurrency continue? on: July 19, 2021, 01:18:43 PM
Almost all the participants use cryptocurrency more and more and many popular places about cryptocurrency as well as some countries encourage people to use cryptocurrency. More and more people are entering the market and cryptocurrency or in other words it is the future trend.

Yes, that's right, many places and events display cryptocurrencies ads, I'm very happy with UFC and it's been 2 weeks that crypto.com has advertised on the official team shirts, of course this will make crypto shine even more.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: July 18, 2021, 04:38:27 PM
Even the government are not in favor to Bitcoin. It is impossible for them to stop it now since Bitcoin is part of people's crypto life. And another strong basis is the El Salvador who adopted Bitcoin. We can live without Bitcoin but altcoins cannot. Because Bitcoin is the founder of cryptocurrencies ecosystem.

I believe without altcoins bitcoin is dead and the price will never be $100, the thing that makes bitcoin popular is that it is used to trade with altcoins pairs, if bitcoin is alone it will not interest anyone because there is no comparison.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge gains and still holding ? on: July 18, 2021, 04:36:03 PM
The biggest mistake anyone can do is still holding unto their altcoins when bitcoin touched 60k weeks ago and still holding strong when the fall began weeks ago, imagine someone still holding HEX token when the coin did 40x already? If you are someone like this friend I don't know what your aim is but sorry to say you are doing it wrong. Check yourself cos it's possible you are struggling with greed.

Long hold when seeing the price skyrocket is good, I think this is a strategy to get big profit, until now I have never sold bitcoin with the highest price like 2017 the price was $19k, some time ago it was $60k, this is because I still think that the price will always go moon not  greed.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding and taking profits on: July 18, 2021, 04:33:00 PM
From analysis, it has been argued severally that hodlers are winner and earn more profits than traders, this depends on your expertise and where you fall into. The current situation now means that anyone that bought lower and didn't take profit because of greed or another reason will soon be at loss or breakeven if things continue to go down. Now many people are lamenting because they didn't expect this at this time and didn't take profit because they thought the uptrend will last more for better profit. For people that has been here for long knows the cycle and this kind of situation is inevitable. For people that can be patient I think they can still get back to the former or expected profit but this is not guaranteed. In my opinion I think it's better to hodl and take profit at the right time and wait for the dip to buy back more quantities and wait for more profit. This way you earn more profits. What do you feel is best to do when holding a coin, please share your opinions!

For top coins like bitcoin, BNB and ethereum of course the holder is the winner, with patience hold they can get big profits, trading is also profitable because the opportunity for big profits does not wait for a long time like holders.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: July 18, 2021, 04:30:13 PM
I see many people wondering. Do whales manipulate the market?
I found website, it contains all the information about whale wallets we need to know:
https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html?fbclid=IwAR1Sswk63v4xVX58QdJFhlbzCA6hLNbRguJyimWXK7AfnR86go1kze7gJdg

If this data is true of course they are easy to manipulate prices, this is certainly sad because crypto which is supposed to be decentralized but easy for whales to manipulate, there is nothing we can do but just hope they pump bitcoin again so the market rises again.
1311  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 17, 2021, 02:46:21 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

Trading requires a lot of time online and every day I can only be online for about 2 hours, with limited time making me prefer investing than trading, I will choose coins that have the potential to skyrocket at least 10 times a year and there are some that work.
1312  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: July 17, 2021, 02:38:15 PM
Bitcoin is now the biggest opportunity in society. Bitcoin has existed for more than ten years, and it has driven the development of blockchain digital currency. Due to the high price volatility and other characteristics of cryptocurrency, there is a lot of room for speculation. Now more people are researching and investing in cryptocurrency, and the accepted scope of cryptocurrency is also expanding, and it can be traded and circulated all over the world.
Cryptocurrency is the development trend of today and in the future, and the biggest investment opportunity will be cryptocurrency in the future.

The development of the number of crypto users globally continues to increase, this proves that the public accepts cryptocurrencies, I believe that this trend will continue for the long term so that we can be successful because crypto investments continue to be valuable.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 17, 2021, 02:36:17 PM
I give no chance for cryptocurrencies in the market to replace fiat money in the near or far future. And actually, cryptocurrencies don't have such aim also. They will stay as a very good alternative to fiat. Even when the digital currencies developed by governments replace fiat, cryptocurrencies' place will stay the same I think.

I think so, crypto is not meant to replace fiat, because it's too complicated to become fiat, for example security issues, I'm worried that if I have to change the address contract every day because it was previously hacked, it's better to be an alternative to local or global transactions like now.
1314  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 17, 2021, 02:30:26 PM
Everyone is looking at El Salvador to be “the home” of Bitcoin, but I believe Singapore is better to be the true hub of the Bitcoin industry, with serious players.

Singapore has made a lot of effort on the technological sector. It cannot be said of El Salvador.

Singapore has clean governance, and almost zero corruption. El Salvador’s government structure might be corrupt everywhere from the bottom to the top.

Singapore’s banking industry is what made the country develop into one of the richest countries in the world. It can further develop by embracing the Bitcoin industry.

It must be admitted that Singapore is one of the countries with the best banking industry development in Asia or maybe the world, with a government that is clean of corruption, it makes world investors happy to invest in Singapore, actually there are many big projects based in Singapore but I see no serious support from the state with crypto.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: July 12, 2021, 04:14:52 PM
How crypto currency change your life?

For me, When I was started it seems that in crypto world is not an easy way to have profits because of an online procedure and no controls. But then again when I know how to handle specially on Trading or in bounty program and that's the reason I started  to earn.

There is no easy thing for earning and profit in crypto, I often try to trade by following the advice of many sources but I still loss, and now I following the bounty, and I think is more profitable because it does not need money first.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!! on: July 12, 2021, 04:08:30 PM
Prices have fallen A LOT recently and now, we have a great opportunity to buy some new alt coins cheap!!
But which projects are profitable and cheap?
It is difficult to say, but for tech and for price, it can be considered to be good coins:

SUSHI
Sushiswap is a famous decentralized exchange where people can very simple do a swap. It is like Uniswap but different.
For fundamentals, Sushiswap has more swaps per day but in price, it is way below Uniswap. Uniswap and Sushiswap are competitors and Sushiswap is currently very undervalued against Uniswap. Recently, SushiSwap announced to change to Avalanche but no date was set, Avalanche has a very good tech for Defi: https://cryptofinancialtimes.com/2021/03/16/ethereums-top-decentralized-exchange-heads-to-rival-avalanche/
Sushiswap can be a real profitable coin.
For Sushi, it is also important to know because many people will like to eat sushi and will decide for it. It is like many people like Doge.

AVALANCHE
Avalanche is a platform project and when it was reviewed by severaly experts, it has always become a very good rating. Avalanche has found out how to make consensus more decentralized by using random subsampling where it's possible to scale unlimited because validation nodes participate in Avalanche consensus. For Blockchain, it's after Bitcoin a huge achievement, Avalanche did it and it works. DeFi projects are starting to use Avalanche because of low fees and fast confirmation. It is big alternative for Ethereum and Binance DeFi products now. Sushiswap has decided to chance to Avalanche because Avalanche has more future: https://cryptofinancialtimes.com/2021/03/16/ethereums-top-decentralized-exchange-heads-to-rival-avalanche/
Avalanche is definitely a promising coin.
And because it is developed by Cornell University professors, it has a very scientific approvement and reputation.

IOTA
IOTA project has very big plans. It needs to be mentioned here for development about IOTA: Devs are planning IOTA 2.0, it will be like Ethereum 2.0 but for IOTA. Not many people know it but when Ethereum 2.0 will be huge, people will also know about IOTA 2.0 and buy huge IOTA. Price can go up a lot.
It has several phases for IOTA 2.0 like for Ethereum 2.0.
Phases of IOTA 2.0 are Pollen, Nectar and Honey: https://blog.iota.org/iota-2-0-introducing-pollen-nectar-and-honey-de7b9c4c8199/

And very important:
SUSHI, AVALANCHE and IOTA are all active coins and bringing innovation. Always chose innovative coins and avoid old coins. Old coins like Tron, Ripple, Cardano and EOS have a very limited potential for grow, because new, technically advanced coin will outperform it!

Which coin would you buy right now?

Of the 3 coins above I only buy Sushi, the reason is because I have my own exchange so the opportunity to skyrocket is very easy, I will hold for at least a year and believe the profit can reach at least 200%.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make sure a projects funds are safe? on: July 12, 2021, 04:06:54 PM
Hey everyone,

How do you verify that a projects funds will not be stolen by the devs? Many projects hold ICO's or some other sort of sale to raise money for development and many have turned out to be scams where the dev steals the money.

What are you looking for to verify that they won't run away with the cash?

Any ideas on how a project can build trust with the community on this topic?

What would you like to see DAO projects do in the future that would help build trust and make sure funds are secure from theft?

There is no special technique to find out whether our money is safe or not, we are just speculating because whatever they present can be like real, but what I usually do is always monitor the rating ratings from third parties such as ICO ratings.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: July 12, 2021, 04:03:18 PM
can, but fluctuations in the crypto market prevent it all. Gold is a safe-haven investment with low risk. if crypto want to be like gold, the crypto market must be more stable. if that happens, then crypto will outpace gold and will probably be the best investment.

I think crypto has surpassed gold, what I mean is a measure of the rate of profit, we can profit up to hundreds of percent or even more in a year, while the rate of increase in gold is not more than 10% a year.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: July 10, 2021, 04:45:58 PM

Cryptocurrency changed a lot of my life's perspective and convictions especially on the areas of money, banking and finance as well as governance. I then realized that the power is now in my hands. The introduction of Bitcoin got many repercussions and now even the government and its regulators are being involved in a good and bad way. However, there is a dark side of cryptocurrency as there are people who got evil intent who also participated here and they can rip anybody's wallet anytime allowed to do so...you know what I mean because I am not alone in being a scam victim here.

Currently there is a lot of malware especially from email, I have also been scammed from crypto, at that time I wanted to send bitcoin and when I paste the bitcoin address changed, and I wasn't careful anymore so I was deceived, beware of what I've experienced
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: July 10, 2021, 04:42:14 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

Of course it is still far to compare crypto with gold, all people in the world can receive gold and no more than 10% of the world's population uses crypto, crypto is more valuable if the market cap of crypto is greater than gold.
