As an FYI, a lot of people do not like receiving a signature campaign payment via a website account. You will likely attract more participants if you payout to their bitcoin addresses directly (the same is true if you use escrow however you would need to payout to participants BTC addresses directly for this to even be a possibility)

I would like to point out that I did lend the OP .03 BTC using his account as collateral. I would also like to point out that prior to the OP posting this thread I was asked by the OP for him to borrow .1 BTC, also using his account as collateral, which I declined.
I would suggest that you take this into consideration when deciding if you want to lend to him.

You want theymos to moderate the trust system? LOL.
The reason fake amounts of Bitcoin were used was far from the reason others have been removed from the default trust network. They were removed for abusing their "power" of being in the default trust network.
CITM needs to prune his trust list to include less people with zero experience detecting scams. However he should not be removed because he gave feedback to someone who he thinks is a scammer.
Your right, he should be removed for leaving a false amount on feedback for a transaction that never happened which is an abuse of power. But you'll never see that as you stand to lose rating on some of your alts if that happens. Thanks for your 2 satoshis, but you have already lost all credibility in my book. This is theymos's decision. He can either fix the system, moderate the system, or remove the system. or continue to be bombarded by requests and garbage every time someone in a position of power abuses it. If not just on principal alone, it behooves him to fix the problem to avoid his own frustration and wasted time. You think that I have lost my credibility because my opinion is different then yours? Saying things like that is a very quick way to lose credibility yourself. You do not know anything about any of my alts and none of them have trust from anyone on CITMs trust list. There is no reason why you cannot leave trust if you have not done a transaction with someone. The trust system is actually designed so that people on default trust network mainly give trust to people they have not done business with as they should be able to spot scams and leave the appropriate trust feedback. The 1,000 Btc risked amount is only a technicality and is a distraction to the conversation. Theymos does not think the forum belongs to him. His belief is that it belongs to the community and as a result he seeks the input of the community prior to making most decisions.

Well considering that with one exception no altcoin has offered anything of value that bitcoin does not offer, to date altcoins have not caused crypto currencies to evolve in any way.
Altcoin is a fast/easy way to gain some bitcoin, it is obvious that I will never use litecoin / dogecoin to buy something. Insted I will use bitcoin. how do you get bitcoin with altcoins? Do you mean by creating new altcoins? For example, I will participate in an ico/ipo and buy some shares. After I will sell this shares and gain 20-30% more of bitcoin. At the end no one care about altcoin, the final coin that all want is BTC. This would require you to have Bitcoin already and it assumes that the price of the altcoin increases which is the opposite of what altcoins tend to do, at least over long enough periods of time.

Another way to stop the "altcoin wars" is to simply stop making worthless altcoins. With the exception of NMC they give absolutely nothing of value that Bitcoin cannot/doesn't offer. With the exception of maybe less then 5 other altcoins none of them are in any way unique from other altcoins.
Chances are that anyone spreading "FUD" is actually speaking honestly about your coin.

You should not outright offer to send first. You almost certainly am going to want to use escrow

Thanks.
One question, why am I not allowed to ask people if they accept escrow to prevent a scam? It is called "spam" , and in this forum the spam is not accepted. Well, everything I know is, that posting posts like +1, good, etc are called spam. The posts werent insubstantial? I just wanted to prevent scam If I will post the same phrase 100 times per day , it is called "spam"; if I will post " +1, great, etc.." it is also called unsubstantial post/spam. Well, my ban reason was insubtantial posts+sig ad You were posting essentially the same post several times over. You likely did not have any actual interest in what was being sold, nor did you come back to further discuss the thread when you got a response. It was clear that your goal was to increase your paid post count.

FYI: Some domain sales can still be good, and you might be amazed at certain prices (for example) letsdobetter.com just sold (on sedo.com) for $3,400 USD Some of you need to learn to do better. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I'm aware, but lbh, 99.5% sold here are crap you are incorrect. 99.5% of the domains listed here are crap. 99.75% of domains have zero interest by anyone and even more end up being unsold.

I bought 3 cards yesterday, used 2 of them, and then the 3rd was closed after only 18 hours. I PM'd the seller for a replacement and will update when all is good. He seems pretty legit and supportive so I am hopeful.
How did you spend $50 on coffee in one day? They have a lot more than coffee. You can buy sandwiches, bulk coffee for your coffee machine, glassware, travel mugs, coffee presses and lots of other things. I just ordered $100 worth of Keurig K-Cups from the online Starbiucks store so it can easily be used. Someone else ordered a bunch of stuff from starbucks online and his order was canceled. I would want to make sure your order actually gets delivered before assuming that you have profited.

The code was redeemed today, on hold with PayPal to find out the exact time it was redeemed
This is the exact reason why you should be using escrow with these kinds of deals. You are clearly too inexperienced to prevent yourself from getting scammed, and it is now apparent that you are probably scamming others in order to make up your losses (although an alternate, but unlikely scenario is that this is segvec trying to harm your reputation to make it more difficult for you to go to the police about how he stole 14+ btc from you)

Just fucking nonsense. I'm done with this Bitcoin shit. Everyone a fucking hustler when this is supposed to be a "community". Yes, I owe someone .06. But I have had plenty of positive experiences otherwise on here. This code was good today. And now he claims no good. Never ending headache this place.
Well since you now have .109 that you got for a MyCash card you likely got for free, you can now afford to pay back your debt right?

Loan amount required: 0.11 110% - 150% Collateral: My Account? Term length: One week Interest: 25% Bitcoin address: 1CandyPE2zp8TQ55BA9gUP4qgVHzzPdDQ7 The reasons: I need it to buy something asap, can payback once I get my pay for writing. Seniors are worth 0.4+, so I think the collateral is reasonable.
Just so you know, Candy recently asked if I wanted to buy his accounts (which I declined) because he was wanting to leave bitcointalk. In the event that you accept his account as collateral, he is unlikely to repay you and you will likely be left with his account.

User josef2000 has posted 13 times asking various people if they accept escrow out of the last 20 posts he has made. This includes 9 times in the span of ~8 minutes. Looking at pages two and three, most of his posts are made up of very short posts, including several others inquiring about escrow (while it does not appear that he ever follows up with the threads later, indicating a probable lack of interest in actually trading). He is wearing a bit mixer paid signature. I would like to request that this be addressed.
