if there's one thing i learned by now. .. dont buy after the first wave of bigger sells..
without a closer look(!), the pattern that is repeating: - price goes down with high volume > price goes up with far lower volume > price goes down with high volume > .... >> longterm down i got the ups and downs quite right. but only play the game for fun with a few bucks ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) you should play with more $ its more rewarding

Only a strong bullish news would save the day now, otherwise we might go back to 50 or even 40.
A strong bullish news will take effect in a few months only. I doubt this. But I also doubt we will have any STRONG bullish news. there's all kinds of bullish news, but people are too busy being bears, people see wtv they want to see. good time to buy IMO

ALL open BID orders at or above 0.044 for ASICM have been CANCELLED, since the price of ASICM has dropped fairly significantly during our downtime. Right on! That's making the best of a bad situation. And its down again... I got some orders in b4 it went down again ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) god damn doss....

We are currently experiencing a massive DDOS and working with our provider to mitigate. Follow @canadianbitcoins for updates via twitter. This was posted to twitter within minutes of the problem beginning. Sorry we dont monitor every bitcointalk thread when in the middle of trying to fix the problem.
No ETA as of yet.
Its been a long time... :/ I hope this works out, should be fun to watch share price swings with the current USD/BTC if it wasn't for the ddos i'd be buying more bitcoin and S.SICE and ASICM the ddos is an attempt at manipulating the price! ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

The MONSTERS Asicminer is selling their Bitcoin that is the main reasons the price drop!! This guys are centralized miner for their own benefit. Do not support this bunch of Monsters.
Dumbass. Slightly less than half of ASICMINER is owned by other people. More than 25% is control and monopolized by friedcat the Monster Head and those monsters babies such as you. He manipulate you and the all the bitcoin community members. Now he dump his bitcoin when the price is low enough he buys back. He dumps his outdated hardware to those stupid fools and he create new hardware and do another IPO. Don't feed the Monster please!! lol get a grip.

if Havelock wasn't being DDOSed right now i'd be making money right now ...
|
|
|
but i do wish the fees were adjusted
keep the 3% for people at only buy or sell < 500$ of bitcoin a month
but make it easy enough for day traders to get to 0.5%fees
might bring more volume, i'd certainly start day trading again if i could get 0.5% fees again...

why is everyone hating on CaVirtex...
i've had nothing but good experiences with them, fast deposits and withdrawals.

I wonder what is the goal of this DDoS today. Was it due the sudden drop in ASICMINER shares price and the DDoS allows the high bids to be locked still so it cannot be cancelled until the attacker decides to end it?
Hmm well like Mt Gox, there can be "cool off periods" but yeah, your idea seems viable in the same way one could aim a firehose at the register of a mcdonalds, and shuttle the mcnuggets out the back during the fray. What I would like, would be detailed IT based info on whom attacks these exchanges. We need to punish and hurt some of the right forces, that seek to prevent bitcoin from become a store of wealth. Seeing as it's a 25 year timeline for bitcoin, we have years like odessa, to track down those would steal of f-with our coin investments. In Pirate terms, "Arr, if'n ye be firin' upon vessel that carry coin belonging to me or mine, rest assured you'll sleep in the deepest brine." lol ya totaly
