13181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2015, 07:55:37 AM
What is Bitcoin? Essentially, like HTTP or Bittorrent, it is a protocol based on Internet and an invention of genius, which makes unthinkable things possible.
In real life, it is said to be a government-free utopia, and also a big revolution in human history of economy; besides, it is regarded as the technological creation of genius and an open-source software with many defections; furthermore, it is used to be a tool of investment or speculation, and be regarded as the untouchable rat poison as well.
Due to different background and views of problem, each one has different understanding of Bitcoin. Gates said it was a technological work, while Munger said it was an untouchable rat poison. In some way, what they speak about can be justified. My only hope is that everyone won’t say Bitcoin a fraud. Don’t you think it illiterate to say so?

Agreed. To say "Bitcoin a fraud" is absolutely illiterate. I like what John McAfee said about Bitcoin: "You can't stop things like Bitcoin. It will be everywhere and the world will have to readjust. World governments will have to readjust".
And one more great quote about BTC:

"Bitcoin is a remarkable cryptographic achievement and the ability to create something that is not duplicable in the digital world has enormous value" - Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google
13182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DarkTronToken give away on: September 25, 2015, 07:11:39 AM
I got the coins. Thanks DarkTron Team!

I'm not going to sell my coins until the price of DTT approaches $1.20 per coin, which I think will happen sooner or later(2-3 years from now - my prediction).

Good Luck DarkTron Team! You are doing a great job!
13183  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: September 24, 2015, 05:11:07 PM
Are girls / women interested in Bitcoin ?
Your opinion ?

IMO they definitely should use BTC. Why not? I am not sexist so I think if guys are smart enough to be using BTC so girls can be also... But personally I don't know a single person of feminine gender who use BTC.

13185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not work. on: September 24, 2015, 11:23:11 AM
Bitcoin does not work because people do not trust to buy things with bitcoin. I have a site running now for 5 months selling precious metals, made plenty of sales with credit card, bank transfer, no problems but not a single bitcoin purchase!

What is the point in bitcoin again?

Bitcoin crew does not believe in precious metals because they know what is the most precious commodity today.... Wink

Exactly! ... and what will be the most precious commodity tomorrow.)

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" - Epicurus (341 BCE – 270 BCE)

"The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one." - George Bernard Shaw
13187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Trump can win in 2016? on: September 24, 2015, 09:31:23 AM
I think he has absolutely no chance. Actually I hope for this. Because if he wins more people in the world will hate America which I don't want to happen.

"Love isn't something you find. Love is something that finds you."
Loretta Young

I LOVE this quote. It pretty much defines love IMO.
13190  Economy / Economics / Re: Silk road impact on BTC price ? on: September 24, 2015, 09:23:08 AM
I think Darknet Markets (and the Silk Road was the one who started the whole thing) have significant impact on BTC price. Having hundreds of thousands of customers they create a huge demand for BTC thus impacting the price. I wish BTC were more accepted apart from Darknet Markets  though.
13191  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How & Where do I start in mining ........ on: September 24, 2015, 09:10:02 AM
This is not good in our country because high electricity rate. maybe its profitable for some people here if there current is jumpered. so electricity is free...
some people from our country buy antminer asic but he sell it again because of high electricity consumption....

Even in my country where the electricity is pretty cheap, $0.03 for kWh(kilowatt-hour), people barely return what they invest with Antminers.
13192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What happens when we approach a singularity of FAKE? on: September 24, 2015, 08:11:16 AM
If you fall into a black hole, you will see the entire future of the Universe unfold in front of you in a matter of moments and you will emerge into another space-time created by the singularity of the black hole you just fell into. Those are not my words but I think something like this might happen. So we are living in very interesting times I guess.  Smiley

13194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Cartoon Ever? on: September 24, 2015, 07:50:05 AM
That would definitely be Tom & Jerry. The best cartoon ever. And I like the fact that so much bitcointalkers agree with that.

13195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who else is impatiently waiting on their millions of dollars? on: September 24, 2015, 07:38:24 AM
?! I cannot wait anymore. We all need money to survive. If people aren't going to give you opportunities, it will become some huge frustration where you don't know if you're going to be able to feed your daughter tonight.

I know how you feel man. I have two daughters and there were times when I didn't know how to feed them.
Take a look at the words of Thomas A. Edison.  I hope this helps.

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."

Mr Gamow, you have a Beautiful Mind.

It works best in the dark. When the lights are on, the brightness fucks it up.  Grin

Having such a photo-sensitive mind it is better to spend more time in a Darkroom using a safelight only.  Smiley

13198  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 1 BTC BONUS on: September 23, 2015, 05:38:49 PM
The site looks awesome. Registration is quick and easy. I found without a problem my favorite game - DICE, and only then I noticed one thing that I didn't like - the lack of faucet.
Maybe it was my mistake and there IS a faucet but I didn't found it.

Actually there is a faucet. On the far left of your screen, there should be a yellow "FREE BTC" box and you should be able to get 523 satoshi after solving the captcha.

Yesss! Now I see it! Thanks mate!

Looks like everything's working pretty nice )

13200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: September 23, 2015, 05:00:41 PM
I've recommended BTC to many of my friends and even to friends of my friends. Very few of them took some steps to learn more and no one unfortunately really accepted.
We need TV shows and movies about BTC, lots of them, and only then the situation will start to change. (to a positive one  I hope)
