1321  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 01, 2020, 08:13:26 AM
Those crimes happen for both cryptocurrency and fiat currency, there are many crimes happen with cryptocurrencies, such as Ponzi schemes and money laundering but when we compared the number of crimes happen with fiat currency is greater than crypto because of the convenience and not all of the people are not really good about technology especially about cryptocurrency. The crimes can happen anytime and anywhere as long as they want to execute it.
This will be rough for the criminals if they will do some theft(crime) in crypto because there is a big chance that they may be tracked by authorities just like what is usually happening for the criminals online.
I guess you've answered the question which is in thread name.
Interestingly enough there is bias towards crypto because its somehow related to hacking and digital money crimes and money laundering.
But honestly we know about them only because it is trackable which is not the case for fiat

of course . we are here posting to give answer and the answer should be propriate to the topic. money laundering and money crimes can also happen to fiat but why not hacking ? this is possible . people or company can hire a hacker and pay those hackers with fiat but the popularity of online payments makes the best choice of hackers compare to fiat . online related crimes are already known before , not only because its trackable  . people that commit those crimes do also got caught or track but they didnt use a crypto but they use a fiat

10 New Tokens in DEFI Markets for Binance added on Koinfox
RUNE, MKR, TROY, BAND, LINK, KAVA, PNT, BAL, SXP, YFI
whats impact on cryptomarket ?

defi market for binance ? is what i read correct . is that defi are seperated because they are decentralized while there was also a decentralize version of binance , is that what you mean ?

if im not mistaken , yfi , link and band are not new but they are already trending before but new additions of defi token can give this defi market a boost while at the same time it also gives bad impression if new tokens are not made well . its hard to decide if we should stop them or we allow more .

1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: September 30, 2020, 04:24:21 PM
I have thought of that before because there are plays that I've followed before where a team can easily win because of their score advantage or gap but it turns out that they still loose at the end because their opponent catches up . Not just nba but also I noticed this on local basketball games and other sports .

I don't have a proof but this happens countless times  Being rigged has never been an advantage to the bettors  but it is an advantage to the owners of the sportsbook and casino
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: September 30, 2020, 03:34:36 PM
He was not saying that if dego was the best defi bounty campaign this year but in fact that he might wanna say if dego was the best defi bounty at this moment.
i read this over and over because it confuses me .whats dego ? i dont even know this coin , how can it be the best ? ah maybe its the latest coin . it can be the best by this time only except if it continues its good momentum

The best bounty for this year should be DIA.
maybe for this month/quarter . you cant say year because year hasnt ended yet and there could be projects that can show thier best and what if they overlap dia in terms of overall performance  .  thats we dont know for now
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker started to eliminate tokens stolen from KuCoin on: September 30, 2020, 01:08:42 PM
I am not sure if hackers can sell entire tokens or withdraw assets from the kucoin platform. they have to go through a KYC based process and of course this goes against the hacker's data. so there was no way they could withdraw all the assets they stole. it's the same as suicide. and hackers will one day be exposed.

when they hack that means they already transfered the coins to thier own wallet and are ready to sell those on other exchange not on the kuckoin platform . i heard that some tokens are blocked , that means they cant sell all what they got .

they dont need kyc because they use decentralized exchange upon selling the coins but its still possible to get these hackers as there are also hackers that got arrested on the past .
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 30, 2020, 09:05:24 AM
Defi is so popular that why scammers are in the move to defi projects. I think its betters to dig deeper in the project before you support their project
The short term speculators will never care about that but the real investors will always do a deep research before try to invest in any project.

This project is very similar with the defi project called justswap which has been locking the user's amount.
the problem is not so many people can do a deep research for the code and mostly the locked happened caused by the developers were putting the backdoor or a code to make the coins can be controlled by the team.

everything that has a swap , farm on thier name should be watch out because clones usually come after the original and legit project became silent  . speculators are not investors and its not a problem if they wont reseach because they are not buying anyway but it will not be right if they post missleading and wrong information because other inoscent user might follow that  . code researching is new to me and it sounds hard but people usually research on common things  but thats a good suggestion , i didnt knew that code matters too .
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Real "Sports Feelings" on: September 30, 2020, 08:28:39 AM
Supporting our favorite teams via betting is what most of the gamblers out there are doing especially if they have certain team that they like or a certain players that they love to show a support.
What exactly do you mean by "supporting our favorite teams via betting"? I would never bet only for my favorite team, especially when the odds are really bad. For example, if my team is playing Barcelona, I would never bet on a top result for my team if there is no other reason for that despite being "my" team.

But do you think you mean something different here?

He is probably referring to "emotional bets".
I suspect certain bettors can't afford to bet against the teams they like for emotional reasons.  It's important to bet honestly, I believe. That is one of the ways to become a good bettor.   Beside, one of the importance of prediction/betting market is to find people who are skilled/talented at predictions and use them for good purposes... for example, you could have a weather prediction site/betting-competition and have people bet on future weather conditions.  Those who are consistently correct could be followed by people for accurate/fair daily weather predictions

there are now devices to know the weather accurately and no need to hire a person that is expert at predicting on it .

predicting is verry inacurate and people just cant rely on it  . betting market is built for business and not the other way around  . there a big difference between a true bettor and a fan . fan arent a true bettor because if they say they will place a bet they will place on their supported teams but a true bettor will bet on anything that what his heart says  .
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason bitcoin price is not stable. on: September 30, 2020, 06:54:47 AM
your a full member on this forum and still didnt knew why btc is not stable ? when we are about to join or got curious on btc for the first time   . there is that common word that we see all the time and that word is " volatility " unless you wanted to know deeper . you mentioned price and speaking of it , price is in the list of many ways to know if the btc will fall or rise   . theres a chart which includes present and past price , you can scan that and make a prediction  . i suggest engage yourself in trading because in trading they mainly tackle those

Using/knowing BITCOIN is not a seal/sign to economic/ financial freedom significant work should come in.
this sound simillar to a qoute . and the qoute goes like this  " god has the mercy but people has the hard work "  the qoute try to emphasize that people should not depend all to god . people should not also depend to bitcoin but they must do hardwork too

bitcoin helps us against the government related stuffs like example the fiat is based on government  , regulations did by governments and so on  . btc is non government based or there is a freedom when we use it  . bitcoin helps most especially when it comes to online shopping  but bitcoin has nothing to do with the pandemic or economic crisis

we already explained this before but on a scatter way and incomplete statements  but im sure project owners and investors already know what we are expressing because they are not dumb enough to not to understand it  . im not a bounty hunter nor others that use to comment like that but we are only helping or defending the rights of our fellow bounty hunters because i and others are also part of this forum . we treat bounty hunters as our co workers  . this list you have is complete and this act as a reminder to them that they should respect hunters for once .
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum Fees Double In a Week As DeFi Heats Up on: September 30, 2020, 04:50:00 AM

i have used ethgastation lately to check if what are the recomended fees  . never tried the others but those are still the same offering same service but except to etherscan maybe because its an eth/erc20 explorer  . you can see the details of your transaction if search or view in a crypto explorer and that includes the fees you inputed  . your last guide was interesting tho but i have not tested it as i dont experience a stuck transaction for a long time but this is useful to others that experienced it  .
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: September 30, 2020, 04:00:32 AM
roullette is in both live and non live game . its a non skill game but i have seen players play like a pro . they can be skillful because they play differently they place several bets per round but most of us non skilled roullete player bet only on one number or on 1 color per game and that makes it hard for us to win  but for slots  , there is no way to bet like that like on roullete but you can only place a single bet per roll but you can decrease and increase your bet per roll if you think the machine already warmed up and ready to show a good combination .
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Scams and Government on: September 29, 2020, 02:02:47 PM
if i recall i think i have heard the name pluto before . that can be the same pluto exchange that turned unto scam but the first exchange that proposed to government are different ? if yes, govt.s should not treat all exchange the same . if exchange needs permit to the government to run , scamming should not be a problem because they have the records of those scammers  .

going back to the people that got scammed , they got fooled of the 30 to 40 percent return offer . thats not even sound legit  , if im the government i will not listen to these people .
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: September 29, 2020, 01:30:21 PM
Seeds are easy to store as long as you are creative so that only you know how to retrieve them quickly. I often scatter them on social media by sending them out to my friends who are not crypto-savvy and I often miss 1 character.
I've printed them out and put them in the books on the shelf. I sent the restore script in the saved section in the Telegram app.
In many ways, we can keep the restorable 12-character string safe.

you are indeed creative on storing your own seeds but i find it easy to stole  , sorry . you sure you know your friend ? what if they secretly learn a crypto  . once they are familiar with the seeds , they can easily guess the missing characters and open your wallet . you scatter them but what if they got curious and they pm your other friends to gather all the codes  . telegram is more risky than the first .  lastly , putting them in books can be easily discovered  . you might want to re locate them ?

1336  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 29, 2020, 10:07:22 AM
One good thing is people didn't lose their money, and this is another lesson for the traders who never should store their cryptos on exchanges or better move to decentralized exchanges. What is the status of the exchange right now? They are back into the action with resolving their security flaw?

my coins gone.
My account was hacked and Kucoin told me the will not use the insurance.

Congratulations to kucoin, i will never invest in their exchange.
They have lost a customer.
We are talking about the exchange hack which happened few day before, but no exchange is responsible if you let your account hacked by someone though weak passwords or let th know your passwords.Don't let your funds to stay longer in any exchange, just keep moving them.

What do you know about my haked account?
My password was not weak, i didnt let know the password to others, i had 2FA autentication on,in may account the security level is listed: high, i didnt visit pishing sites, but the same day of the haked of kucoin someone haked my account e stoled my coin.

maybe he was just guessing ? thats his guess because why not kucoin say that if your among of those who got hacked recently  . how much money you stored ? if that is small , they should easily pay it or prioritize it compare to those who have bigger funded users because those are harder to pay or what if they prioritize them because they have huge fund and they think they are more important  .  for pass words   , weak passwords wont be allowed or you cant proceed on the next page till you follow the suggested password  .
1337  Other / Archival / Re: Developing Your Online Blackjack Betting Strategy on: September 29, 2020, 09:20:30 AM
The martingale system will never fail as long as you have the money to continue even in huge stakes. Among all the methods, martingale is the one that looks perfect to me, you can keep your winnings and get back what you lost a sure profit for me. Now a gambler must understand the situation, should know the difference between intuition and ego. I'd say personality must fit into one of these strategies, by that it will give you what you want, money.

So you are saying that martingale will always work if you have unlimited money? It is completely wrong obviously as there any casinos is having max bet on their games. It means that once you reach the max bet while doing martingale (on losing streak), you wont be able to continue the strategy although you still have so much money on your balance.

i dont wanna say this but that does mean we cannot recover our losses anymore  ? and if we start another martingale session we are only going to end the same . thanks btw for reminding the max bet thing , i have noticed that too on some casino . so that should be the purpose on why they came up with that max betting thingy  . i thought they put that because thats what the only max payout they can afford to pay  . its also risky recovering our losses thru flat bets , i have tried that play before.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if you invested a $1 in Bitcoin every day for 5 years on: September 29, 2020, 05:50:57 AM
I think earning a large amount of money by investing $ 1 daily in bitcoin is outdated. Now, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency known all over the world. Therefore, I recommend investing in an altcoin you want instead of bitcoin every day for 5 years.
you cant earn large amount of money by doing what is instructed . i calculated that you can only get over 0.1xxx btc , thats small compare to the money and time you have spend on investing  . value of btc merely moves , i sense that its value will still be on this range in the future or worst if your unlucky the value can dump more resulting for your investment of btc to go down . earning a small money is possible and wont be outdated  and if btc is well known ? whats the problem . you should be happy with that because that means more demand and more price increase
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin hacker moved the stolen BTC. on: September 29, 2020, 02:56:21 AM
Kucoin is one of the favorite coin for me. I use it for regular basis.  But kucoin team should more conscious about their security system.
exchange not a coin but if your a fan of it you should be aware now that your fav exchange is hackable but dont fret just yet because team are now also aware and will do thier best to avoid further happenings simillar to this  .

Quote
I don't know what was the lack behind this.
security . now you know

These hackers are stupid enough to take away a handful of Bitcoin and mostly ERC20 tokens.
they never realized that but now they also know that tokens can be manipulated . the next thing they hack all they gonna get was full of btc's and no tokens involved , thats more scary but token owners / exchange / and users wont just allow their coins or thier costumers coins to get hack because its a loss for them and for thier reputation .
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: September 29, 2020, 02:06:16 AM
For me bounty hunting in this forum is still the best place to look for a profitable bounty
disregard the scams yes this is the place to be for those stuffs  . i have tried sites that are not related to bitcointalk and when i clicked on thier bounty links , they all redirect me on here  .

they just shorten the link and worst they refer them selve so that they can earn more profit than those poor joiner's that execue the real effort . we are blessed that we are on the best forum for cryptos so why complain ? some people cant just be thankful for big things that come on thier lives
