1321  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: upcoming crypto conferences on: January 12, 2019, 01:33:57 AM
I agree. The pricing for most conferences is a huge turn off for many people, especially for conferences with big sponsors.
If they intend to capture all sort of people to get into Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies they need to make this conferences and conventions affordable if not for free that even those in the lower waged earners can attend this kind of events. In Singapore there's a lot of meet ups there but I guess its just for small groups.
1322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk in hodling and trading strategy on: January 10, 2019, 11:55:39 PM
When you are holding coins, you need a lot of patience and dont listen to fud. If its possible not to look at the price daily, go ahead, so that you will not be affected when you see the price of coin going down. Looking at the price might give you a reason to think and sell. But, be careful not to overlook the status of the coin, because you might be holding a coin that will soon be delisted in the exchange site.
1323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: January 10, 2019, 11:50:17 PM
Don't listen to others opinion specially those who are being paid to promote an ICO or a coin. If a coin or a project is really good, it will speak for it self. they don't need to hire promoters to sugar coat their copied and pasted white paper. Next is don't or should I say never join those groups that gives signals on what coin to buy. Its the owners who will earn from it not you.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Mysterious instant drop? on: January 10, 2019, 11:37:32 PM
I am not surprised to see the price of Bitcoin suddenly drop from $4,000 to $3,600 or almost 10% in a day. I expect this to happen every weekend so its not new. Expect the price to go down further in the next few days until Monday. But, prepare for more dips and drops because Chinese Lunar New Year is just around the corner. Usually price drops before the event and picks up right after.
1325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Searching Trading Effective strategy on: January 10, 2019, 11:30:27 PM
I am interested in learning about How To Make Money With Bitcoin because I am a trader.

Trading is my passion and profession.

If this is your profession and passion why don't you share your experience in trading and maybe share your tricks to us. What might have worked for you might work for us as well. There's a lot of new traders who needs a lot of help reading those charts and using those tools available in the exchange sites.

Just like what I said on my other posts, take advantage of those coins who will be listed in other sites. There are high chances that price will go up on the day its listed on another site.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 10, 2019, 11:06:54 PM
There are those who post their daily picks here, from football to basketball, there are even those who post their picks based on the country where they are located. But there are those who are bad at their picks, I don't want to name names but hes thread did not even lasted for up to 3 pages and he gave up and did not post again, so better look at the stats too, how well are they doing in their picks.
1327  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: January 10, 2019, 10:49:18 PM
This buy the dip strategy is hard specially for the new ones since they will have a hard time determining if its the dip or not. Its better to say buy low and sell high, you buy when the price is low then sell when it reached your target. But in this bear market, I will not set a high target like 10% or even higher. You might fall in a trap and cant recover anymore.
1328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please advise me which coins best for the day trading on: January 10, 2019, 10:37:06 PM
Just look at the top 10 coins in the coin market cap, they are the ones with high volume and price moves a lot. Next is look for any coin that will be listed in another exchange site, there's a very high chance that the price will shoot up to 30% or even higher when the coin or token is listed. I forgot the names of those coins that I bought and earned for dong that, I guess one of them is OMG or Omisego.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 10, 2019, 10:26:29 PM
I have a bad experience with airdops. I participated in the IGNIS airdrop last year, the deal is they will ARDOR will match the amount of NXT that you are holding and after the screen capture they will give you IGNIS. They are true to their word and they did, problem is the price of IGNIS did not go up as it is projected. I would rather work on Bounty campaigns because there, you will work and they will give you a token. Instead of airdrops, you need to ahve something or buy something to receive the token.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: January 10, 2019, 10:18:42 PM
I still don't see that we are in the bull market now. I still see the price of Bitcoin going down. It may touch the $4,000 price yesterday but looking at it now, its down to $3,600. Anyway its weekend, its expected that when its weekend, price will go down a bit until Monday morning and expect the price to pick up again by afternoon till Tuesday morning.
1331  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 10, 2019, 10:14:00 PM
I have the same sentiments almost a month ago when Ethereum, I bought Ethereum when the price went down to $105 USD and then after a few days, the price drops to $88 USD, I thought its about time to sell to anticipate further loss, but I hod on to it and bought some more thinking that its not permanent, after a few days ETH went up to $151 last Jan 2.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: January 10, 2019, 09:44:49 PM
Earnings from altcoins is unlimited, it depends on how much you want actually even on a bear market you can still earn a good amount of money depending on your capital. There are scalpers out there who can earn 1% to 2% per trade. Imagine if you have a good amount of capital and you we're able to make a lot of trades in a day.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: January 10, 2019, 04:13:51 PM

Having fun is priceless and I believe that during the time when you are playing with that 10 BTC you are having so much fun and you forgot time and forgot that you are already playing with 10 BTC. So if you are sad that you lost 10 BTC, just think that you enjoyed the time that are playing and it is something that is priceless.

Loosing is not fun . how much more if you loose bigger amounts of cryptos , do you think that is priceless ?  if you on play gambling just for fun then better dont involve money because there are many fake gambling out there that only uses in game currencies  .

I didn't say loosing is fun. Player must have been so distracted that he didn't noticed that he reached 10 BTC, its either he is trying to recover his loses or he is extremely distracted to notice the amount he is losing already. Nevertheless a loss is a loss and its not fun losing money at around $36,000 USD

1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: January 09, 2019, 06:39:00 PM
I don't see any reason that might trigger a bull run this 2019. What I see is a possible down trend before the Chinese Lunar New Year which will happen February 05. if you take a look at the price of Bitcoin before the Chinese Lunar New Year for the past 2 years, there's down trend, however, price will slowly going to pick after the event.
1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: January 09, 2019, 06:24:44 PM
When it starts to get in to you that's the time that its unhealthy. While everyone gets frustrated when we don't earn in trading or we missed an opportunity, we should not take our frustration to another person, sometimes when we get frustrated we get angry even at small things. Bottom line is, emotions have no space in trading.

1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 143 on: January 09, 2019, 04:21:57 PM
Yes Max, I mean mich, it is what it is hehehe.

In any case, UFC fight night 143 might not see as many viewers because the casual fans will watch Manny Pacquiao versus Adrien Broner. I admit I would choose to watch Manny than TJ and Henry Cejudo. However if Mighty Mouse Johnson was the UFC flyweight champion, it would be a hard decision hehehe.

Oh I totally forgot that they have the same date with the Pacquiao vs Broner so it will be an easy decision for fans to choose the Pacquaio fight.

Anyways, I don't see Henry Cejudo winning against TJ Dillashaw here, TJ is well rounded fighter for me, and his movements and striking skills is above every one else in the flyweight/bantam division.
They may have the same dates but its on different time zones, Las Vegas and New York have a 3 hour difference. I am not sure about the time when the fight will start because even if they have different time zone, one might delay the start of the event so that other countries who subscribed to the pay per view can follow. I read somewhere that the PPV for Pacquiao Broner fight will cost $74.99 US. Not sure how much UFC Fight Night PPV will cost.

1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the right time to buy ETH. on: January 07, 2019, 07:29:45 AM
On 11 of Jan this year and there would be a snapshot of all ethereum wallet and you would be given 3:1 of whatever ETH you have in your wallet has ethereum classic vision  which I heard Is the future of all cryptocurrency
Not only on January 11, there are 2 more ETH events to look out. January 12 is the hard fork for Ethereum Nowa and January 14-18 is the hard fork for Ethereum Constantinople. The hard fork for Ethereum Constantinople is believed to the major one so if you plan to sell your ETH right after the snap shot at January 11, try to hold on to it a little bit longer as a major one is just 8 days away from the first hard fork.
