I'm confused about why there needs to be a coin swap. Can't you just include both algorithms in the client, and switch them past block X?
(Have a look at AndroidsToken to see how much of a headache a coin swap solution was.)
We are doing it smoothly at BEE mate , having both algorithms on the client is a much complicated process and I've tried that before and will need a complete client update. True it's quite a headache but worth the trouble. The exchange can help us with the swap where all the coins are sent to the exchange and swapped thereafter. |

If i have coins in trade lets say coined up and say i go back out to the wilderness cuz live in alaska. I might miss the coinswap. If my coins are @ coinedup during the coinswap will it be automatic? Dont get me wrong im all for x11 sounds great for mining, however what if i miss the coinswap and then all my current astros are worthless or i lose coins in the process. Im not sure how this will work because ive never done it before

what does this mean? Soopy, are the swaps happening just once per day right now? i think we may need to give more than 2 weeks because some bee1 wallets seem to say error if you try to send more than 10M sometimes. I had to slow it down for the weekend mate , but it will run fully featured Starting off on Monday , swaps will be almost instant I'm adding more RAM onto the server and trying to spilt the wallets, the Main wallet is crashing hard lol too many transactions going out. can i ask why you consider soopy to be hendo420? This isn't the first time someone with many aliases has mistakenly quoted a thread with the wrong account. Stark similarities can be seen with all these coins. Is there a problem with the blockchain? It's been about half an hour since the last block.

If we are to switch to X11 then we'd have to switch to a new blockchain which will need all coins to be Swapped to AstroCoin V2 is everyone ready for that? I had fix a few internal issues on the Swap servers since they've been running unstop for a while.
Swapping resumed.

Most will only do in small batches since the swap is not instant and don't want to risk their coins.
Others wont even swap the coins, it's a bit of a process and may be to much trouble for what it's worth. If they really care then they will swap and besides over 12 Billion coins already swapped. |

It can't that's the thing. I'm going to fork the chain and issue a NEW client. Everyone will have to update. ok cool, damn i have 52 million in transit to swap over, will they be lost? best to instruct allcoin to open their bee1 wallet again and we load it up and they swap for us. Same issues with adt swapping using this method No worries about the pending swaps I've frozen them , yes we will ask help from allcoin , for now I'm trying to do a fix for this issue. |
