1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : Lifespan of storage media - What will you choose? on: February 15, 2016, 06:32:43 PM
I do agree with this to have our own wallet.dat file to be copied and saved over hard disk or external drive but only thing that stresses out is that if it might lose then no choice remains with us so better save it permanent.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump On Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 03:57:06 PM
Guys, Donald Trump's net wealth is larger than the whole BTC's market cap. So I guess he just sees BTC as small beer. Real estate at his level is very big business. When you are where he is, you don't look much at what's below. I don't think bitcoiners shall fear Trump, he just doesn't care about us.
I don't remember that Mr Trump ever said anything about bitcoin or about any other digital currency but keeping inview of his conservative thoughts one can predict that he may not appreciate bitcoins.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 14, 2016, 03:54:01 PM
in the early to know bitcoin, I just thought that bitcoin is something that makes us fooled, and can only be owned by rich people only, but after I studied science about bitcoin finally I found bitcoin same as real money to me, the difference bitcoin exist in a digital world  Smiley
Yes i do agree and to me it is same as a real currency since it can be used for online trades and transactions and very convenient and safer to use like credit cards or other currencies.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in Steam coming soon... on: February 14, 2016, 03:52:11 PM
Anyone knows when this will be up? Kinda been looking forward for this coming Steam summer sale.

from what i have read in this topic and the links on reddit, it is in the rumor stage. so there is no official announcement of when it is going to come.

I am so glad to hear about this news and it is a good success for bitcoin as well since it is becoming popular every where around the globe and people are getting to know bitcoins more than last year.
1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: February 14, 2016, 03:49:12 PM
its good to have different wallets because it increases our chances to raise our income and earning with profitablitiy and has more growth while having more wallets. I would suggest the same for every one.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 14, 2016, 03:47:27 PM
I will hold my bitcoin for 2 years If I have to...this is do or die for me...either bitcoin reaches that $100k/per like they've predicted or I loose everything.

It might not reach to $100k in next two years, but you would not go through losses, as in next 2 years bitcoin would definitely reach to some respectable value and you can earn good profits.
Yes i am holding my bitcoins to get raise in future and very hopeful about it. No matter its price will be not that higher to touch 100 K USD but still will benefit its account holders.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin Will Not Survive", says Jamie Dimon on: February 14, 2016, 03:44:55 PM
A lot of old-money folks have these opinions (misconceptions?) about Bitcoin. It's OK. They are irrelevant in the future economy.
Yes i am sure these billionaires don't like other currencies like bitcoins to be famous and get benefit to the public. I can understand what happening in their minds and they don't want such plans to be famous like bitcoins.
1328  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 14, 2016, 03:30:33 PM
The last time I buy bitcoin it for capital on trading. Cheesy

And it happen in 2014 and now I just enjoy the results and play back their capital. Cheesy
I am buying bitcoins because it's price is quite affordable to me these days and i am hopeful it will increase in future and profit me in return. I am sure it will become world currency some day as well.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 03:28:59 PM
If possible I would choose bitcoin over paypal for online purchases, but the major issue is not many online websites at a moment accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment and that is the reason paypal is more popular.

That's the problem. I never found a real life shop accepting btc but even the online shops don't all accept btc. It's a rare thing to find something you need to be bought in btc!

It's because BTC is still being "accepted" and not yet mainstream because of slow but steady growth...
It is still being used by many big firms like Overstock, Dell, Microsoft (X-box), and many others...
Also, many hosting firms are now accepting it...
I am just waiting when firms who provide daily used products, start allowing Bitcoins, PayPal will get destroyed...
I think PayPal will itself start using Bitcoins soon if what they mean new money is BTC itself...

Well of course it's due to adoption limits. But it means that it's rather hard to use any bitcoin to shop in real life.

Yeah its really difficult to use bitcoin in real life, and that is the reason Paypal is more popular then bitcoin, but I believe bitcoin will overtake Paypal in long run when it gets on mainstream.
Ya need to be mass adoption of bitcoin can be used in a real and it takes time. Moreover paypal already existing beforehand than bitcoin, and bitcoin I think would definitely be able to overtake paypal.
pay pal is already known world wide where as bit coin is making its place day by day. for both are good at all and bitcoin will be working as pay pal as well in near future.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 14, 2016, 03:26:17 PM
For me no because bank still safe than bitcoin because bitcoin has a possible to hack and bitcoin value is not stable so its impossible that the banks will be disappear because of bitcoin... do you think guys if you forgot the password or you accidentally deleted your password in your laptop you can recover your account for me no so banks and atm's is always safe than bitcoin..

People lose more money every year stored in their bank accounts and atms as compared to Bitcoins, the only bitcoins that get stolen are because of either carelessness in handing private keys or investing in scams.

If we save the money in the "bitcoin banks", will that have the similar effect of being stolen like the fiat?
I do agree with those who are in favor of banks and atm's since bitcoin is not that safe in terms of losing password or forgetting the information where as banks and atm are quite safe enough when it comes to money.
1331  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 14, 2016, 03:01:37 PM
I would prefer to buy a luxury apartment using bitcoins, I don't know when it will be possible in my country, but lets hope the day come soon when I can buy a home using bitcoins.
Dreams are unlimited and same are the wishes and desires as well. As more we earn more wishes increase and i same way have lot of wishes to buy every thing with bitcoins and wish to find in malls bitcoins accepted here logos and pray it might become world currency very soon.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 14, 2016, 02:57:39 PM
There is no tax imposed on bitcoin. Some countries have strict regulations which are just to reduce the use of bitcoin. Tax issues has not arise yet just because bitcoin is decentralized.
I have not heard about any tax on bitcoin so far and i do not expect it in future as well but in certain countreis because of their own regulations cant predict if they might impose some unnecessary tax on bitcoin but in most parts of the world there is no tax on bitcoin recently.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Valve is about to accept bitcoin as their payment system on: February 14, 2016, 02:53:18 PM
i might be mistaken but i always thought valve and steam are the same thing! isn't it like steam is for valve or valve is for steam?
Valve is a company, Steam is their product.

Valve is a company, Steam is their product.
its a great news for every one that big companies in the world market are accepting bitcoin and hopefully same like war games, then steam and now Valve have accepted bitcoin as their payment system so very soon we can expect from other companies to recommend bitcoin as their payment system as well.
1334  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 02:48:08 PM
Get a GYM membership, eat healthy, stay away from munchies&beer&coke. Stop excessive masturbating that ruins your body. Get a decent job with good salary.

Then, you ll be able to motivate "womens" for anything.

I guess you can still not convince women , as per Old saying "You cannot Convince a woman who Gives You SEX" , so better Threaten them  Grin
feed them in Mind that in Future all will depend on bitcoins and moreover you can buy jewelry and Comfort stuffs from Black Market favorite cheap , then i guess they will surely use bitcoins.
its difficult to convince women no doubt about it but not impossible and once they get to know the benefits of bitcoins they will start loving it and using bitcoins and it is good to motivate them towards BTC since it is essential to increase the BTC community as well.
1335  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 02:44:19 PM
Getting some by sig campaign or trading.

And the money i earn i will use some of them, some to be invested.

Wow, that's a good idea,, keeping some of your earnings in your wallet and just using few for expenses,,, if you are earning big in signature campaigns, then in one year, you'll have atleast a one whole bitcoin..  Smiley

I am working in a small job which makes me meet my needs so  am saving my bitcoins in my wallet so as to save for long time and this is the way for me to get rich with bitcoin. i am sure bitcoin will help me being rich some day with its great plans.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 14, 2016, 02:36:14 PM
In my opinion in 2020 Bitcoin will be more stable and with the highest price and a bigger community of users and supporters worldwide.  Grin

That could come true... actually bitcoin users community is starting to grow,, and same as the price, it is now starting to rise too, so in 2020 it might be another good year for bitcoin....   Smiley

I do agree and surely hopeful that in 2020 bitcoin price will be quite higher and profitable as well. As Bitcoin community is increasing day by day the prices and value of bitcoin will increase to a great high level in 2020.
1337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 14, 2016, 02:33:25 PM

Yeah, I am buying at a moment, as I have a feeling that will grow more in next couple of months and would achieve a new milestone in terms of its value, so trying to multiply my bitcoins in best possible way.
I buy bitcoin keeping in view of saving purpose and in future surely its rate will go higher and profitable as well. its quite affordable to buy these days and in future will benefit its users too. its world wide transaction way is quite nice and comfortable for every one.

yeah I agree with you .I buy bitcoin because bitcoin transaction fees is very low and I can send money in world any time with self and bitcoin is no need third person when I buy some goods and after I get goods very low price with bitcoin and I think to buy a bitcoin .
1338  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: February 14, 2016, 02:29:15 PM
Thats true when it comes to shopping, the credit card feels to be better as now only few places accept bitcoin. Now only people started using bitcoin cards. So once the guy posted the thread start using bitcoin card he feel why bitcoin better than credit card.
I do agree with moderators who say that Bitcoin is better than credit card because bitcoin would prove very soon better and affordable than credit cards since having no annual fee or APR as well as 3 cent one time fee for a transaction and as compared to credit card fee is nothing and i am sure would be quite better and popular in future.
1339  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2016, 02:25:05 PM
My least favorite thing about bitcoin is that it is not popular in my country, and majority of the people are not aware about it, I hope that things changes soon in near future.
I have the same issue as well and I do agree that it is not popular in many countries still and my country people also dont know much about bitcoin. This is the only thing which in my opinion is least favorite about bitcoin.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core version 0.11.2 released on: February 14, 2016, 02:20:23 PM

I do agree that updates and new versions are always better with smart and smooth ways of operations but I need to know more about how to update this and what is the benefit of this new version of Bitcoin.
