1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 01, 2022, 05:24:10 PM
Every weekend I see a Liverpool fixture I see them as winning but after 90 minutes I get disappointed. It's been occurring far too much this season and it's now becoming a big problem for klopps team. You definitely can't want to be a contender for the English Premier League and play so poorly.

Todays game against Brighton was a defensive disappointment from Liverpool and that has been a summary of their games this season. Going down by two goals so easily and early is unbelievable I think it's time klopps shows some players that they aren't bigger than the club, players like Van dike who has dropped in his defensive performance needs to be checked properly.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More reasons why it will always be Bitcoin for me on: September 30, 2022, 09:13:22 PM
It's a real shame that banks aren't even fair as regards their stands in the interest of their costumers. I have seen in the news where people complain to their banks about debit and bad transactions that they weren't refunded. Bank is more of the financial prospects it can bring to them and they BS the interest of the consumers. A bank would rather give loan to a man that shows them a key to a Lamborghini than a person that has been banking with them for years.

Crypto-currency now can awaken the banking sector, with almost all the issues people have been complaining about getting solved by Crypto-currency through the functionalities it brings in.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: 23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar on: September 30, 2022, 08:41:57 PM
Well it was always going to come to this, big power countries getting fed up with the dominance of the US dollars. It think it's not something the media should present as a big issue. For so long the US dollars has been the benchmark for currency valuation globally even if it's exchange numeric value is less that pounds and the Euro's.

Although even if those countries you mentioned decides to go ahead with their plans US dollars would still be the paramount currency because many other countries still values it and it would be a marmot task to tip over the US dollar
1324  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 30, 2022, 08:13:48 PM

Yes I know say Ghana Dey grow but one thing way Nigeria they grow like wide fire be interms of crypto-currency and personally e Dey give me joy, I would love to see how Ghana can match that energy.
1325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on how to keep your Bitcointalk forum account safe. on: September 30, 2022, 07:36:06 PM
Good advice mate, many people has lost their Bitcointalk forum accounts as a result of very avoidable mistakes and errors, one of this things I would like to talk about is clicking on random links.
If you aren't backed by 2FA you can get caught in this trap.

This works in various ways and it mostly gets people who are desperately searching for earnings. You click the link it takes you off to another site where you are asked to create an account which you then do, and for those who uses same password all the time you make things easier for this scammers. They take record of the password you imputed and then try it on your account.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spain’s Largest Telecom Company Telefónica Now Accepts Bitcoin, Crypto Payments on: September 30, 2022, 06:54:32 PM
Telecommunications sectors is one sector that is widely used by many and of Bitcoin has now broken into that sector then the adoption is growing stronger.
I use data regularly because in my area you get no free Wi-Fi. Many time making payment for my data subscription using the bank has been very frustrating especially when I need to make use of my data Urgently. I have thought about the fact of using Crypto-currency for payment and the simplicity, speed and efficiency it would bring in.
It's a big step by the Spanish telecommunication giant one that would benefit themselves and their users.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 29, 2022, 07:39:00 PM
The international break is over and the players are probably back to their club of duty. Some of the players actually picked up injuries and would be leaving their respective clubs short . Real Madrid are in spectacular form and have no blemish in any of their games so far, it's actually good but it comes with much pressure, many teams would be looking for a way to get them down.

And this weekend might just be the time I think this international break would work against them there isn't enough time to get into the momentum they had before going on break.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 29, 2022, 07:17:20 PM
You need my advice from or my moves in crypto-currency. Let me start with what I have been doing in crypto-currency so far and that is I only believe in investing in Bitcoin, I am not a big time investor and I mostly accumulate from payment of my services which I render in bitcoin.

But if you are a big time investor or maybe a small scale investor who wants to start I would say if you don't invest in Bitcoin try looking at the next coins very close to it. Many people are in search of low cap coins to invest and hope they buy very low and sell at billionaires rate. That is not always the reality, invest in coins that are solid and has good market history.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa with so much endowed natural resources but remains the poorest. Solutions on: September 29, 2022, 06:51:08 PM
Actually poverty is experienced everywhere else not only in Africa, we has seen poverty in Europe, Asia, Middle East, south and North America. But the picture is always painted better to people to see Africa as the center of poverty. Yes there is extreme poverty in Africa and family living on incredible low daily spending. But that's the picture always painted.

The cause of the poverty is majorly neglected and not highlighted enough the extreme corruption from government of such countries goes on deaf ears on the international scenes, just many people showing how rich they are when they give aids that only temporary solves the situation.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 28, 2022, 08:33:05 PM
I don't know many of those Businesses you made mention but I am well aware of OLX and what the brand is all about and I would let you know that they weren't really a small scale business.
OLX came out with so much ambition, thought and financial backing and you could see that in the amount of resources they put into their marketing.
They hit the ground running for some few years and I personally know some people that made use of them. And just like many businesses that has fallen even with the right financial power, it has to do with management.

1332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful when lodging into any hotel on: September 25, 2022, 08:28:38 PM
Well it's just an accusation the hotel isn't 100 percent guilt yet, until perfectly proven. Although I think you should also fear blackmail if there are hidden cameras in the room then it may have caught sensitive compromising details of you or your wife or even both.

I hope you take this matter seriously and simple things can help us out like I conduct all my crypto-currency business at home, if you have a good schedule of your time and discipline it's very easy. Make all transfers, and transactions at home or places very convenient with less threat. Maybe you and your wife have learnt good lessons with this event.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 25, 2022, 07:34:55 PM
Most didn't give Manchester United a chance against Liverpool but they went into the match and secured the victory with class and since then they have really had a good run. I think this derby between Manchester United and Manchester city is not going to be easily predictable.

City are in good form especially with their goal machine who is in goal hunger mode, but this is a derby that would be very tight even for a striker like Halaand. United players are showing their worth even at the euro nations league with good stats. I would go for a win for Manchester United what do you guys think?
1334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best cryptocurrency wallet to use between cold and Hot wallets. on: September 25, 2022, 06:54:55 PM
Well for personal purposes I always prefer Electrum wallet I have used this wallet for a while now and I am still using it and with my security sensitivity high I haven't had any problems with it. At a point I have done some business on Coinbase but I never for once felt safe in there. The chances of attack there are high.

So my key advice on selecting a wallet is.
#It has to be in your control. You own the private keys you own the wallet.
#Transactions has to be fast and easy
# low to moderate transaction fees
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in micro cap altcoins? on: September 25, 2022, 05:37:03 PM
From your post I see you either not being Frank about your portfolio or you are taking a wild gamble at things, if the latter is the case then you haven't the knowledge about crypto.
Yes many backs the idea of diversification but investing in as much coins as 20+ isn't wise, people doing their research on coins before investing aren't foolish even those who has the capital to get more than 20 different coins still do their research and limit their investments to at least 5 or most 10.

Yes some low capped coins can come out to do 100X or even more it's a Risky game, and the chances of its being successful is limited, don't invest based of sentiment/feelings/suggestions or hopes. If you have the capital cut out some unnecessary investment you would have more budget to invest in more solid coins and when patients is applied would give good returns on investment in the long run.
1336  Other / Archival / Re: Don't worry, bitcoin is cyclical on: September 25, 2022, 05:05:15 PM
Yea OP nothing different can happen in bitcoin now other than it breaking another all time high and also getting more adoption, I think right now FOMO and FUD hold less water on Bitcoin because of the history of bitcoin at every time topping the hole (dip) and coming out very strong.

This isn't to say the news won't come out and post about death of crypto-currency and bitcoin won't be made, but the experienced bitcoin enthusiast and those doing their research would know it's just another volatile program and in time the price would surge again. It won't be an effective ecosystem if some people don't get scared and sell off, it's just the process. You see same people going on to buy when the price is high and rising, it just keeps the bitcoin ecosystem running strong.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permissable in Islam. on: September 25, 2022, 03:28:23 PM
This topic is one that fascinates me everytime I read it, and that's religion having laws on digital asset like crypto-currency. The origins of religions most of the times dates back to times before Christ and by this times no one would have Phantom an idea of digital asset or even bitcoin.

How come after its creation and it gain popularity religion started to be brought into it. It's sentimental to me to say the least, I feel if someone in power doesn't like the idea of a thing the person try hard to find out rules that they would use to stop it. And that's exactly what Bitcoin and Crypto-currency is going through in the hands of religion and some Government.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 24, 2022, 07:05:58 PM
It's sad that Barcelona that is in amazing form right now how to nurse the regret of losing some of their inform players to injury like kounde and Araujo this are the two injuries that were officially confirmed by Barcelona but there are rumors that Memphis DePay may also be missing.

All this injures happened while they were on international duties and from the looks of things this player may be out for a long period. The effect on Barcelona would be much, because this players were already finding their spark and the team generally has started to form a solid first eleven. Barcelona is a big team that signed a lot of players during the last transfer window and I believe they can have cover till these players a fit again. What do you guys think.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that fell below negative 100% this bear market on: September 24, 2022, 05:18:31 PM
I am the type of person not to use the word gem wrongly, just because a coin did well during the bull market and hit its all time high that shouldn't mean it's a gem. The bull run is a season in the crypto-currency world where coins move up fast, a lot can influence this FOMO, and even FUD. But for a coin to be considered a gem it has to also show itself approved during the Bull market.

You buy coin because it did well in the bull run you may only end up like the many that are trapped in Luna and yes not only Luna many other coins that hit their all time high also fell into the mud.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentina to Hike Interest Rates to 75% as Inflation Nears 100% on: September 24, 2022, 04:49:51 PM
I am not from Argentina but I understand this measures the Argentina  government are taking from experiences and in all my experience on it this is never an ending solution to an inflation situation.
I personally see it as unfair for government to try rescue the financial issues of the country by trying to make life even more hard for its citizens.

Inflation is currently a global situation that many countries are having right now. Just recently my local currency Naira just went down and it's now $1 for 719 Naira (my local currency) and yet no measures has been taking in tackling this situation. I am no economical guru but I think any measure that needs to be taking should be one that doesn't worsen the situation too much and has long term efficiency.
